Hey crocheters, can you spread this around to let some designers know about this site. I hate linking to it directly but it's necessary for folks. I found at least one pattern by the designer LyraLune Designs and many more that with a quick google I could tell was definitely stolen and reposted.
I know it's really hard to get these kinds of things taken down, but the site isn't even trying to hide what it's doing, the photos used are definitely the designers product photos and in process photos.
I do not know all of the designers to even start letting them know, but maybe if this gets around more designers together will have more luck getting their stuff removed.
This started because I found a photo on Pinterest of a pattern I'd just purchased, but it didn't link to the creator, so I started hunting. Apparently if you're not the designer or the holder of the copyright you can't claim a pin is breaking copyright.
Also there's a free amigurumi blog that posts a lot of pins to Pinterest and uses the same scraped images from designers. The only caveat is that this person has some decency to only repost actually free patterns. They're still posting the whole thing and taking clicks and interest from the creator but they are attributing and linking to the creator in the post.
The really pissy thing about that site is that the "other pattern ideas" are clearly AI generated crochet photos, but that is a rant for another day.

Debuted my crochet Zagreus at Otakon on Saturday!
This is my first crochet sword! (it lights sup and has a sensor to change the lights and play sounds when it moves, but the battery died the Saturday morning 😭)
Notes, breakdowns, and pattern info will be posted as I get a chance to edit the footage and notes I took. (I'm also starting a new job tomorrow, so patience is greatly appreciated 👍)

I think this will be one of those crochets that needs its own little puppet on a string setup, at least for when I take other pictures

It's kinda funny when someone sees me unravel a fiber project either partially or completely, and gets distressed on my behalf and I have to go "No no no, it's part of the process! You gotta trust the process."
