Okay this is a bit of a hot take compared to my usual random posts, but for those in the creepypasta Fandom still, does anyone else get slightly annoyed that people who write/voice the character Ticci Toby, that most times they completely forget the "ticci" part??

Like-- he doesn't have a stuttering problem, he has tourettes syndrome.

And half the time they don't even give him stutters!! They just have him speak and physically function normally and completely take away one of the main reasons people in his backstory had abused/bullied him--- his tics and fidgeting!

They just strip him of one of his main attributes, and it's so frustrating, especially since he's a huge comfort character for me.

I think Julius feels extremely jealous and confused when he discovers a happy children with their family, then will Julius be at least less jealous or feel empathy for the kids being abused like him?

This is actually somewhat canon, I posted about it some time ago! Answer below cut:

Yes, he is absolutely confused when he sees a happy family and becomes extremely jealous of the children, especially the easier they seem to have it and/or wealthier they appear to be and/or the more affectionate and attentive the parent(s) are. The jealousy becomes very quickly warped into what he believes to be hatred for the children, before he can even acknowledge that the feeling is actually jealousy.

He really does not understand how any family can be genuinely happy. Julius very pretty much automatically and instantly will become convinced (half because of his lived experience and half to subconsciously comfort himself) that they're not actually happy, and that is only a facade for public appearances. After all, that's how he grew up and how Killian grew up). Outwardly, Julius' family seemed like an absolutely ideal, happy, perfect family which was full of love and joy - flawless. Behind closed doors, it was nothing but an abusive hellhole.

Now, Killian's mother (she was a single mother and this was the 1800s), was rather often shunned by others due to her martial status yet a mother of three (all by different fathers) in addition to lower class (whereas Julius' family was working class). However, she put on an outward facade as well. Behaving as if despite being a prostitute, she was only doing it to provide for her children (keep in mind this vile bitch was sex trafficking her MINOR children). Publicly she acted like she loved her children more than anything and showed them nothing but love. But again, behind closed doors, it was an abusive hellhole and her 'love' wasn't really love, it was extremely inappropriate, sick, vile, abusive behavior and actions that she convinced her children was how parents loved their kids.

Now, keeping in mind Julius and Killian very much kept themselves emotionally isolated from everyone other than each other - and Julius kept himself extremely isolated in general until his later teens - Julius unfortunately but naturally came to believe that this was normal. That there was no such thing as a happy family, that it was all a show, and the more convincing it seemed, the worse it must be.

His most common reaction when sees a happy family, is to very quickly get away from them while pretending he's fine. He'll go about whatever he was out to do acting like he's unbothered. But when he gets home he freaks out and breaks down. The second most common reaction he has is to immediately boil over in rage, storm home, and the second the door closes, he destroys everything. Another reaction he has, though it's more rare, is to just completely disassociate. His face just goes blank and he just will kinda stand there smoking and staring at the ground; Killian will have to help him along getting home.

I'll stop rambling now lol.

edit: OH, but no, Julius will not at all feel empathy for kids. He thinks that's "just the way it is". (I will make it clear that Julius was never sexually abusive to his children or any child ever, though.)
