Winter can feel heavy, but it’s also a season of preparation
The cold, quiet days are nature’s way of teaching us to pause, reflect, and heal. Instead of resisting sadness, ask it what it’s here to teach you. Journaling, talking to a trusted friend, or even a walk in the cold can offer clarity. Imagine spring not as an escape from the sadness, but as a reward for enduring it. How can you nurture yourself through this season so you can bloom fully when the days grow longer?

Little Things I Love:
staying up to watch football, turning the music up loud in a car to feel the bass in my spine, finding a new song that's absolutely life-changing, laughing until my stomach hurts, finishing a really great series, standing still in nature and listening to the sound around me, reading as the wind invites itself into my room, chocolates with interesting fillings, perfecting a hairstyle, hitting the high note better than ever, the feeling that comes from playing dynamic songs on the way home at night while watching all the little lights over the hill, songs that carry memories (good and bad), looking at past photos, being who I'm meant to be, realizing that everything is alright, I can finally rest.
X's and O's, Elle.
