Been playing Crash 1 all day on the N. Sane Trilogy in honor of the 27th anniversary of Crash Bandicoot's release into the wild, and of course that comes with a nice little dose of Cortex thoughts -w-

I've posted something similar b4 but like. The fact that he can balance so well on his stupid hoverboard, even when he's like a hundred feet above the ocean in that final boss fight is, I hate to admit, pretty impressive 😒💖💖💖 That, plus him being able to ski, leads me into thinking that this is just an innate skill he has and he probably doesn't even recognize it as anything impressive or commendable, just cuz he's never rly put that much thought into it (that is maybe until R. Marie points it out and suddenly he just loooooves showing off 🙄🙄💖🙄💖💖)

April 27th: What is your favourite form of media? For example, do you enjoy books? What format do you prefer for books (physical, e-book, audiobook)? Did you love reading as a kid but find it challenging as you got older? How about movies, tv, or video games? Do you have a favourite series?

I don’t really have a favourite form of media. I like all of them for different reasons. I enjoy reading and once I start a book, I have a hard time putting the book down. It doesn’t take me long to finish once I start. As a kid, I loved reading and I was reading at a very young age (3.5 years old).

Video games are my escape from the real world, so to speak. They’re a form of stress relief. I can immerse myself in a fictional world and forget all about what’s going on around me. My favourite video game series are Fallout, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Pokémon, and Donkey Kong Country.

My favourite TV shows are House, The Good Doctor, The Blacklist, Dexter, How To Get Away With Murder, Forensic Files, true crime documentaries, and pretty much anything on Discovery ID.

I’m not a huge movie person, but I will watch them if one catches my attention. Disney movies are my favourite, though.

Bandicoots get ready to revel in Crash lore with the final Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Grand Prix season launching this week! Deciding earth is no longer of interest, the villainous Nitros Oxide has challenged Crash and team to one last epic battle on his home planet in the Gasmoxia Grand Prix!

During this toxic race to the finish, players will challenge each other on an epic new track high up in Gasmoxia’s atmosphere, where two rival fast-food conglomerates are battling it out for planet domination (and a CTR TV sponsorship). New skins, karts, an imperious new character to unlock and a new track to conquer, touted as the most technical track ever assembled in Crash Team Racing—players will have a wild ride in this Grand Prix season!
