Day One - In a Vehicle
Kageyama x Reader
Tumblr media
Kageyama’s PoV
Could i get any stupider?
In the rush of Hinata, Y/n and I finishing our tests, scrambling into Tanaks sisters car and setting off immediately for Tokyo I hadnt had time to pee.
Hinata was sat in the front passenger seat as Y/n and I were in the back of the car.
To make matters even worse, i had a huge crush on Y/n and the nerves of sitting next to her were bugging my bladder even more.
I tried to keep my breathing steady because i knew that if i panicked things would only get even worse for my nerves.
I wasnt too desperate yet but the need was still there. We had only been driving for about ten minuets so i definitely couldnt ask how much longer we had to drive yet otherwise everyone would definitely know something was wrong with me.
I crossed my legs which seemed to ease the pressure a little bit and made everything a bit more bearable and i tried to focus my mind on anything but my need to pee.
I jumped slightly as Y/n tapped my shoulder five minuets later and i felt my bladder twinge slightly, making me squeeze my thighs together as descretely as i could.
‘Whats up?’ I asked Y/n, who sent me a stunning smile.
‘You look bored, you wanna listen to some music with me?’ She asked, holding out one of her earbuds to me.
I nodded and shakily grabbed the headphone, ‘Yeah, thanks.’
She just nodded, ‘No problem!’
We had to shuffle slightly closer to eachother so that the earphones could reach to both of our ears and i couldnt help but notice how my seatbelt uncomfortablely pressed down onto my bladder, making my desperation go from a 4/10 to a 7/10.
Hinata and Saeko (Tanakas sister) were chatting happily about volleyball and the tiny giant in the front seats and i was glad that they werent focused on me because then i would feel even more pressured.
Another fifteen minuets had passed and I had tried my best to get lost in Y/n’s music but now my bladder was almost at its maximum capacity and i was beginning to shuffle around a bit, squeezing my thighs together as tight as possible.
Y/n looked at me and yanked the headphone wire, making them fall out of both of our ears.
Y/n went closer to my ear and whispered, Hey, are you okay? You seem uncomfortable?’
My body shivered at the feeling of her breath on my skin and it relaxed my body for a second, making a bit of urine leak out of me.
I gasped and crammed my hands onto my crotch, tensing my body up again, stopping the flow as fast as i possibly could.
Y/n’s eyes widened in realisation and i blushed a deep red, hiding my face away from her, waiting for her to tell me how disgusting and gross i am.
But she didnt...
Instead, she placed a hand comfortingly on my shoulder, her touch making my heart rate speed up even more.
‘Is there anything i can do to help you?’ She whispered to me once again, continuing to keep her voice low so Saeko and Hinata wouldnt ask questions.
I shook my head and tried to calm myself down. There was no way in hell that i was gonna show myself up in front of the girl i like by acting like a four year old.
‘N-no,’ I said, trying to act as calm as possible, ‘Im f-fine dont worry.’
She didnt look like she believed me so i slowly removed my hands from between my legs to try and prove that i wasnt as desperate as it seemed.
Bad idea.
As soon as i took my hands away, another bit of urine left me and i gasped once again, putting my hands back onto my crotch.
This time the flow was harder to control and i knew that there was a 99% chance that there would be a wet patch on my shorts.
Saeko and Hinata must have heard me gasp because their conversation stopped abruptly.
‘You okay back there?’ Sakeo asked and i felt my throat dry up.
Hinata began to turn around to look at us and Y/n and I both panicked, knowing he would see my obvious state of desperation.
Y/n suddenly unclipped her seatbelt and laid accross my lap gently, covering up my crossed legs and hiding my odd hand placement.
Her arm momentarily dug into my stomach, pressing on my overfilled bladder, forcing a two second stream of urine out of me which i painfully cut off, knowing that my boxers were almost fully soaked now.
‘How come your laid down, Y/n?’ Hinata asked her and she sighed.
‘I just feel a bit car sick,’ She said, ‘Do you know how long it will be until we get to Tokyo?’
*Slick* I thought to myself. She had somehow managed to cover up the fact i was about to pee myself AND had a good reason to ask how long it would take until we would arrive.
Hinata frowned, ‘Oh thats not good, i hope you feel better soon!’ and turned back around to look out of the front window.
‘We will arrive in half an hour but were gonna be on this stretch of road for another twenty minuets and wont see another place to stop for a while.’ Saeko said, sounding worried about Y/n.
Y/n frowned at me and sat up again, ‘Okay dont worry, im feeling a bit better after lying down but when we come across a place to stop it would be nice to be stationary for a while.’
Saeko chuckled slightly, ‘Okie dokie! Ill keep that in mind for you!’
Y/n mustve seen the tears in my eyes and my expression showing that i had completely lost hope as she placed an arm around my shoulders, hugging my side for a second before whispering, ‘Sorry i couldnt help you much. Dont stress out, we’ll find a stop for you. You’ll be okay.’
I got butterflies in my stomach from her touch but i ignored them, not wanting to focus on anything else other than holding myself in.
Y/n clipped herself back into her seat and I decided that i would have to speak up. Y/n already knew and Saeko wouldnt make fun of me. Surely i could just scare Hinata into keeping his mouth shut too.
‘C-can you drive a-any faster?’ I shakily asked, panic evident in my voice, ‘I r-really need t-the bathroom.’
Saeko immediately sped the car up, ‘Ill drive as fast as i can. We’ll reach a stop in about fifteen minuets. Can you last?’
I felt a single tear roll down my cheek, feeling pathetic and stupid, ‘I... I d-dont know!’
‘Its usually me who need to pee.’ Hinata said from his seat, making me bubble with anger.
‘S-shut up idiot! This i-isnt funny!’ I growled at him, unable to make my voice any louder.
I shifted uncomfortably in my seat, putting all my energy into keeping my muscles tensed as much as i possibly could.
My eyes widened as my body began to relax itsself against my will.
‘No... NO.. NO!’ I panicked, ‘YOU N-NEED TO PULL THE C-CAR OVER!’
Saeko quickly turned the wheel and brought the car to the side of the road and i unclipped my seatbelt, threw the door open, and scrambled out of the car.
As soon as i got out i immediately crumbled onto the floor, my legs giving out underneath me as my lap began to feel warm.
Wow. I had really gone and done it hadnt i? I pissed myself in front of my senpais sister, annoying volleyball partner AND my crush. Could it have been any worse?
My shorts were completely soaked and a puddle had began to grow around me. I couldnt even bring myself to try and stop it because my body felt so weak.
No amount of embarassment would ever compare to what i was feeling in that moment. I didnt even want to begin to imagine what Saeko, Hinata and Y/n were thinking of me.
Tears rolled down my cheeks and i kept my head down so no one would be able to see my face.
It took at least a minute for my bladder to fully empty. I felt so pathetic and dumb but there was nothing i could do other than just sit there and wait for myself to be finished.
A pair of shoes came into my line of vision and i looked up slowly to see Y/n with her hand stretched out to me, offering to help me up.
I looked away from her quickly, my voice barely above a whisper, ‘You s-shouldnt touch m-me. Im a-all gross. Even m-my hands.’
She crouched down and placed a hand on my cheek, wiping away one of my tears and making me look up at her, my face even redder.
‘I dont care. Dont stress about it okay? Its a human need. There wasnt anything you could do to avoid it.’ She said in a calm and genuine voice.
I nodded and she grabbed my slightly damp hand. I glanced at her face and she want even slightly disgusted.
I stood up and Y/n kept her hand laced with mine.
We got back into the car, I was sat on a towel. Saeko said that she didnt mind and strangely Hinata hadnt even mentioned it which i was thankful for. Although everyone was being very calm and unaffected by it, i still felt mortified.
Y/n suddenly lent over to me to whisper in my ear one last time, ‘Dont worry about it so much. Ill always have a crush on you.’
My face reddened as i looked at her, ‘I h-have a c-crush on you too.’
Y/n giggled, ‘I guess that makes me your girlfriend then.’

“Stay still!”
You hear him say for the umpteenth time, but you pretend not to hear him, twirling around in the dress, laughing and shaking your hips.
He makes noises of disgruntlement and soon you hear the shutter of his camera go off, the flash blinding you for a few seconds, but you don’t care. You glide over to the full-length mirror on one side of the store and smile at your reflection. He was right, the dress is gorgeous.
You push down the fabric, loving the smoothness under your fingers and twirl once more. You can see Shawn roll his eyes in the reflection, but you can see the hint of a smile threatening to peak through. He places his camera back in the casing and walks over to you, wrapping his arms around your waist, leaning down to press his head on your shoulder.
You’re both silent for a moment, just staring at the pair of you in the mirror. You hum, your head falling back into him, “I think we found the one.”
“I told you I’d be useful,” he tuts, pinching your hip. You flinch, turning around to smack his chest, “You only just started being useful. The past hour has been torture.”
He’s laughing, the beautiful crinkles on his face making your heart melt but you love teasing him, so you can’t give in just yet, “Trying on twenty dresses definitely wasn’t necessary.”
“No.” He agrees, smiling down at you with a shit- eating grin. “But we had to test all out options, didn’t we?”
You shake your head, turning back around to see yourself in the reflection, triple-checking that this was the right choice.
“You have to delete those photos, you know?”
“No!” He sounds almost offended. “Those are memories, there’s no way I’m getting rid of that.”
“But I look horrid,” you pout, blinking innocently.
“Don’t give me that face,” he shakes his head, “They’re all blurry anyway.”
You grin victoriously, winking at him, “The music in here is just too good – I couldn’t resist.”
He pauses for a moment, raising his finger to the ceiling, eyebrows raised. You focus on the sound of #Selfie by the Chainsmokers, your ears getting hot as you begin to nod slowly, “It has a nice rhythm?”
He shakes his head, but you’re already dancing again – thankful that there was no one else in the store on an early Wednesday morning.
“If you dance like that tonight, I’m going to pretend I don’t know you.”
You ignore him, taking his large hand into yours and spinning into him, his laughter getting louder as the two of you stumble around together.
The music changes to Troye Sivan’s Dance to This and you squeal a bit, getting overly excited as the two of your start shouting the lyrics at the top of your lungs. You can see the nice sales associate trying to contain her giggles as she pretends not to watch you, but you don’t care.
You’re watching Shawn. Your eyes never leaving him as he throws his head back, laughing as you mess up the lyrics. His hands pull you into him, your chest hitting his as you begin doing some sort of heightened version of a slow dance. His hands are warm against you, sending a current of energy through your body.
You’ve never smiled wider in your life, your heart clenching as he places a kiss on your forehead and you can’t believe that you’re still so in love with him after two years of being together. It’s never stopped being butterflies and sweaty palms with him – you’re body reacting to his touch like it was the first time.
Everyone around you recognized that as well, even the sales associate as she checked out the dress a few minutes later. You two are adorable, how long have you been engaged?
Shawn had squeezed your hand extra hard as the two of you tried to contain your giggles, explaining to her that the ring on your finger was a promise one. But Shawn made sure to add that he was hoping to fulfill that promise soon.
You felt like you were on cloud nine, leaving the store with a flutter of butterflies in your stomach. You knew that Shawn was it for you, never once doubting that he was the person you were going to marry.
You just didn’t expect that maybe; you weren’t it for him too.
 *
Later that night you found yourself at yet another event with Shawn, wearing the pretty red dress and smiling widely as people approached you.
You were happy to find that you could easily recognize and talk to many people, a stark comparison to how you were when you had just started going out with Shawn. You were more confident now, excepting that you belonged next to Shawn, that if you stood up straight and acted like you were meant to be there – people would believe it too.
You were sipping a Shirley temple, bopping your head lightly to the beat of the song radiating through the room, talking to Lina – the daughter of a famous record producer. She was probably your closest friend related to the industry, but she was usually too busy to attend these kind of parties – so you were taking in every second you could get with her.
“Ok look at Marsha,” Lina lifted her chin, motioning to a woman a few meters away from you, “She’s about to go talk to Roger. For the sixth time tonight.”
“No way.” You shook your head, cringing as Marsha started making her way over to the older man again. “He’s said no to her single like a million times already.”
 “Have you heard it?”
“No.” You paused, “Wait? Have you?!”
 She snorted, “I wish I didn’t.”
“Come one!” You threw your head back, “I would have paid to see your reaction.”
“I can perform some for you, if you’d like?”
You were quick to shake your head, but she was already going.
“If I could fly … I would never leave you dry ….”
“Stop! Please!” You were bent over, holding your stomach as you tried to contain your laughter. She was so off pitch that you were tempted to cover your ears.
“Maybe we could last forever ….”
“I don’t know what sadder,” you heaved, “The song – or the fact that you know it by heart.”
“She made me listen to it six times!”
 “That sounds like – ”
“Excuse me.” You turned around at the sound of the voice, feeling a light touch on your shoulder. You were greeted with the sight of a beautiful blonde staring at you with a small smile.
“Hi.” You were quick to return the grin, trying to figure out if you remembered her from somewhere. She looked oddly familiar.
“I’m sorry to bother you, but I’m looking for Shawn?”
You smiled, “I can go get him for you. Give me just a second.”
 “Thank you so much!”
You found Shawn in the back, talking to someone you recognized to be very important, but his eyes lit up and he was on his feet the second he saw you.
 “Hey angel, everything okay?”
“Hey,” you nodded as he wrapped a hand around your waist pulling you to the side, “There’s someone looking for you.”
You took his hand in yours, leading him through the mass of bodies in the space, over to where Lina and the stranger were waiting.
“Hey!” Your tone was light as you called out to her, “Found him!”
She turned around, an expectant look on her face before her eyes finally settled on your boyfriend.
“Kate.” Shawn’s voice was laced with shock, a smile gracing his features as he let go of your hand and shot forward to hug her.
You made eye contact with Julia from behind them, her light ones wide and looking at you with something you could only describe as sheer worry. You tilted your head, trying to understand what she was mouthing to you.
“It’s been so long.” You could hear Shawn say as they pulled apart, his tone laced with something you didn’t recognize.
“It has. You look amazing, Shawn.” Now that was something you did recognize.
You placed a hand on Shawn’s back, his eyes wide as he turned back to look at you, almost as if he’d forgotten you were even there.
“Kate,” his eyes were back on her immediately, “This is y/n, my … girlfriend.”
You hated the hesitation in his voice, but you didn’t want to jump to any conclusions, smiling gently at her, “It’s nice to meet you.”
“So, how do you two know each other?” Julia stepped forward, sipping on her drink as her narrowed eyes trained on Kate.
There was a moment of reluctance, which definitely didn’t help with your unease.
“We go way back.” Shawn finally said, Kate, giggling in response. Your smile faded. So they went way back. That was definitely code for used to date.
You hated the jealously that flooded through you. Your stomach clenching as your boyfriend continued to stare at the girl with an unrecognizable look.
Everyone was silent for a moment, Shawn’s eyes not leaving Kate, something you weren’t too happy about. You were used to being the center of his attention. And you felt selfish the second those thoughts filled your mind.
“What are you doing here?” He asked, the wide grin never leaving his face.
She smiled for a moment until her eyes traveled over to you and the expression faded, “I uh – was hoping we could talk?”
You didn’t like the look she was giving you, and you definitely didn’t like the sound of that. But Shawn was nodding and not even a second later he was turning to you, “I’ll be right back.”
You didn’t respond, he didn’t give you the chance to. He was already walking away, hot on her heels.
 “What the actual fuck.”
You didn’t know how to answer. So instead you turned over the bar, immediately ordering four shots, making Lina talk them with you.
You had hoped that the alcohol would ease your nerves, but instead, you found yourself pacing in the bathroom, your head spinning as you tried to explain to Lina what was going on in your mind.
She did her best to try and calm you, easing your mind that it was nothing. Shawn loved you. It didn’t matter that he was slightly tipsy. Alone. And talking to his ex.
You trusted him with everything in you, but you didn’t trust the look in Kate’s eyes. And the look in his.
Shawn came back a half hour later, his eyes bloodshot and begging you to leave with him. You didn’t hesitate to agree, taking his outstretched hand and following him to the car.
You were both silent for a few moments but there was unspoken tension hanging in the air, your hands folded in your lap – trying to figure out how to phrase your words.
“Are you going to tell me what happened?” You finally blurted, hating the way his hands tightened on the steering wheel.
Shawn was silent for a few seconds, before he cleared his voice, “Everything’s fine. Kate just wanted to catch up.”
You rolled your eyes but didn’t argue. “How long were you together for?”
You could see him tense again, his shoulders tightening, “We weren’t. Almost though.”
 “What happened?”
“I don’t know. She wasn’t ready, I guess.” His tone was clipped; sounding like he had uttered those words millions of times before. You could feel your breath catch in your throat.
 She wasn’t ready.
You replayed those words in your head a million times before you could finally utter something else. “When was the last time you saw her?”
Shawn could sense the uneasiness in your voice, the unfamiliar tremble as you tried to calm your breathing.
His hand was quick to take yours, twisting it out of the clasp in your lap and holding it in his tightly, “Baby –”
“I’m just curious – I know there’s nothing to worry about I just –” your voice was higher than normal, Shawn’s hand tightening around yours.
But he was silent. Staring straight ahead at the stoplights. The bright red glow illuminating his impassive features.
“There is nothing to worry about, right?” You found yourself saying.
 “Of course not.”
Your heart was in your stomach, and you suddenly felt like there was no room in the car – no air.
“Shawn,” you whispered, “Did something happen?”
 He swallowed again, “No.”
You were both silent for the rest of the ride home, Shawn’s hand holding yours – the only thing stopping you from falling apart.
The second the car parked in your driveway, you let go of him and jumped out, not waiting for him to follow – speed walking to the front door. Your hands were shaking as you tried to stick the key into the lock, your blurry eyes making it hard for you to focus.
 “Y/n – ”
You could hear Shawn coming up behind you, but the door burst open just in time – saving you from having to look at him, “I – I have to go to the bathroom.”
You could hear him shout something back but you were already sprinting up the stairs and into your shared room, shutting the door behind you and bolting into the bathroom.
You were shaking, pulling your phone out and googling the one thing on your mind since the second you heard it.
The lyrics to Shawn’s When You’re Ready showed up on screen and you tried to calm your breathing, scrolling for a moment before your tears began collecting again and you were sobbing.
You gripped the sink, your breaths choked up as you tried to control your heart rate.
You could feel a tightness expanding through your chest, like a weight that was pulling you down. You were on your knees before you had a chance to blink, your hands wrapped around your dress as you tried to get a grip on yourself.
Moments passed but your breathing wasn’t picking up, you tried to blink away the tears, but they kept flowing as your shallow breaths increased.
You stood; your head spinning at the sudden movement, making you fall back and steady yourself against the sink. A jewelry box slid off at the impact, falling and smashing on the floor.
You flinched back at the noise, your ears registering a muffled yelling from behind your door, but you couldn’t make it out. You didn’t understand any of it, your chest heaved as you fell back onto your knees, sounding like you were chocking on air. Black spots began to cloud your vision, the room starting to spin.
Arms wrapped around you, pulling you back into a hand chest, but your mind was too cloudy to process any of it.
“Breathe – ” you could just make out his words, “You’re having a panic attack.”
 “I can’t I –”
Shawn spun you into him, on his knees before you, his hands cupping your cheeks as he placed his forehead on yours. You tried to make out the golden color of his eyes but you couldn’t focus on anything but the tightness in your chest.
“I need you to listen to me, okay?” His thumbs were lightly massaging your jaw, “You’re going to inhale for me on the count of three.”
“1.. 2.. inhale.” You obeyed, your chest filling up with air as you shook in his grasp.
“Now exhale,” he said, his voice shaky, “Now again.”
 “Inhale…exhale…inhale….exhale.”
It was working, your mind slowly clearing as you focused on the sound of his voice.
You sighed easily for the first time in a while, your eyes finally opening and meeting his tear-streaked ones.
You pulled away from him immediately, falling back onto your butt as you crawled further away, the cold tile the least of your concerns.
“You – you.” You heaved, trying to catch your breath, “You wrote it about her.”
He tilted his head, looking like a devastated, confused puppy, “Angel I don’t know –”
“When you’re ready! You wrote it about her, didn’t you?”
Shawn blinked, a single tear falling from his eye as he crawled over to you. You flinched, scooting away until your back hit the wall.
 “Y/n I –”
“The song was written four months into our relationship.” You sniffled, wiping your nose on the sleeve of your dress, not caring about how much money you had spent this morning. Now, that seemed like a lifetime ago.
“You had said that Teddy wrote most of it. That it was a spur of the moment thing. That none of your songs were based on anyone until you met me.”
He was silent, tears streaking down his cheeks as he tried to catch his breath, “Baby –”
“You were waiting for her. This entire time. Weren’t you?”
“No!” He tried to get closer, but stopped at the expression on your face, “No! I love you, I –”
“Cause ain't n –nobody like you. F- familiar disappointment every single time I do.” You began to recite, your hiccupping sobs making it hard to understand.
“Y/n. Baby, please let me explain – ”
“Every single night my arms are not around you. My mind's still wrapped around you.” You shut your eyes, your entire body shaking as you wrapped your arms around yourself, trying to figure out how this was happening to you.
“Baby, tell me when you're ready.” You opened at the sound of a choked sob coming from the other side of the room. Shawn was on the floor, his head between his hands as he sobbed, shoulders shaking.
You were silent, trying to stop yourself from rushing over to him and holding him in your arms – something you had grown so accustomed to that now you felt like you were having an out of body experience.
 “Do you still love her?”
That wasn’t what you had planned to say, but you needed to hear it. You needed to know if the last two years were a waste, if the ring on your finger had ever meant something to the boy you thought was going to be yours forever.
Shawn was silent, his shoulders slumping as he threw his head back.
“Shawn?” Your voice was sterner than it had been all day.
“I – ” Another wrecked sob flew through him.
You covered your mouth as you felt your chest close up again. Shaking your head, you took a deep breath – you were not about to have another panic attack right now.
You gripped the vanity to your left, using it to pull yourself to your feet. Your mind went hazy from how fast you rose, your head already pounding from how hard you’d been crying.
“She told you she was ready, didn’t she?”
All Shawn could do was nod, his eyes not opening as he placed his head back in his hands – his elbows on his knees as he started crying again.
You threw your head back, urging yourself not to cry – but nothing could stop the whimper from flying out of you, your eyes shutting again.
Everything was silent again. For a few moments, you hoped that he would say something. That he would get to his feet and explain that everything was a misunderstanding – that he would take you in his arms and hold you, telling you that you were the one he loved. The only one he loved.
However, things weren’t that simple. They never were with Shawn. But never before had you doubted where you stood with him.
“I – I can’t do this.” You found yourself saying, his head snapping up – bloodshot eyes meeting yours.
He was on his feet before you could blink, “No. Y/n – let’s talk about this, please.”
You hesitated, before shaking your head. It was too late for talking now. You had waited for him to act and he had left you dry.
“You need to figure yourself out before we can do that Shawn.” You spun the ring on your finger. “I can’t be with you if you’re not a hundred percent sure about me.”
“I love you.” His voice cracked, a single tear traveling down his sculpted cheek again.
“I love you too.” You sniffled, taking the ring off your finger – Shawn immediately flinching back, “Please. Please don’t leave me.”
“You lied to me. You used me as a placeholder for her. You still love –”
“I don’t. I don’t.” He was shaking, his hands coming up to fold behind his head, “It was a spur of the moment, baby – ”
“I know you, Shawn.” You were tired, and he was delirious. You couldn’t keep your eyes open anymore, and you were afraid that if you kept this up any longer – he could convince you to stay.
“Call me when you figure everything out. And then we can talk.”
You placed the ring on the counter, the clang of it hitting the marble making Shawn flinch again, but you didn’t let yourself get phased.
You took one long look at him, before turning around and walking out of the bathroom – and ultimately the house.
He didn’t call after you once.

Your eyes opened, facing the white roof of your small bedroom one more time. The cell phone alarm making a stupid scandal on the other side of your room with one special electronic music you thought it was noisy enough to wake you up from your dreams or nightmares.
You sighed, lifting yourself up from your bed, stretching the muscles and articulations with some snaps before you threw your legs out of your mattress, straight into your slippers. Then? Every day morning's routine: brush your teeth, get dressed, tie your shoes and fifteen minutes in a bus before walking another twenty minutes to reach the central coffee shop where you were used to working in during the whole last year.
"Good morning, Annie!"
You could count on your fingers the days when something of your day was altered since the Witnesses Protection Program dressed you in that identity.
Mary Ann Watson. The most common name they could find to fit you in. Your father was an HQ enthusiast and wanted to name you after Peter Parker's girlfriend, Mary Jane since his last name was Watson. Your mother's mom first name was Ann. They married the two ideas and there you were.
You had to admit the officers from that program were really good to create life stories and the one they created for you was really better than tell everyone your father was a fucking drug dealer that you saw suffocating your mother to death in your house's living room before giving up on searching for "that little piece of shit she gave birth to" when he couldn't find you hidden spot behind the warmer, hoping you would starve to death without her and solve all his problems at once.
Surely a man obsessed for HQ was better.
But you never allowed yourself to forget your true name. (Y/N) (Y/L/N). Your mother's last name, your true mother's favorite name.
To think about her was also a part of your daily routine. Remember her fairy tales, her sweet smile, the way she used to caress your hair until you fall asleep in her arms. You missed her and you never stopped thinking that sweet creature deserved a better end than what she had in your father's hands.
You never had the chance to know if or where she was buried or visit her grave. But you liked to think she was looking at you from the sky, as a star, the way she used to say she would be one day.
And in the last days, you were looking at the night sky more often, thinking what would your mother think about your plans for life, about your current life.
About him.
Hvitserk.
You didn't know his last name yet, but you were the only one able to pronounce and write his name at the paper cups of the coffee shop properly and it caught his attention for you.
He was coming more recently, in the last three months, according to him, because he moved to a new apartment for some privacy.
Who wouldn't want some privacy with four other brothers?
Details from him you discovered while he was waiting for his coffee at the balcony, openly flirting with you with that sexy glares and the sweetest smile in the universe.
"Sunshine is already outside, babe. Go there to receive your daily smile" one of your friends joked, smiling; causing you to blush and roll your eyes at her.
They started calling him "Sunshine" because of his smiles. They were so cute and surely would make the entire coffee shop to smile with him like the first sunbeams on the horizon.
But the truth was that you were already starting to get used to your "sunny mornings" since he made to take his breakfast in your store a daily habit in his life.
You adjusted your apron, smiling when you came out from the back of the store, seeing him at the balcony in one of those white t-shirts you thought dressed him so well.
"Good morning, Hvitserk," you said, getting an instant smile from him "Welcome back. What will you want for breakfast today?"
"Did I already told you how much I love my name in your lips?" he flirted, causing you to blush, giggling embarrassed "Good morning, pretty Ann. What will I want for my breakfast today?" he asked back, testing if you already knew his taste, for fun.
You smiled, placing the notes at your notepad and pulling the sheet to deliver it to the kitchen.
But this time, July - your companion for the day at the balcony - decided to make things a little bit better for you, smiling at the sheet you gave her and yelling at the kitchen, loud and clear...
"Ann is asking Sunshine's double mocha latte with extra chocolate sauce and two chocolate muffins!"
"Ann's Sunshine double mocha latte extra sauce two muffins received!" The kitchen answered, causing your face to explode in red and Hvitserk in a delicious laugh.
Tumblr media
"Ann's Sunshine?" he asked, crossing his arms in front of his chest, "I think I need a nickname for you, as well, princess," he winked, causing July to laugh at your disconcerted smile.
What a way to start the day!
"They started calling you this way..." you tried to explain, red as a tomato, but he just smiled again, touching your chin in a quick touch, knowing he couldn't go further than that since you were working.
"It's fine, silly one. I liked to know I'm yours somehow".
Pretty direct, not even trying to deny he was interested.
Shit! How could you avoid smiling at such a sexy man?
Hvitserk had that duality you always found so gorgeous in some men around: sometimes he seemed sweet and childish as a boy. But sometimes, like now, he was sexy as fuck, winking at you with a smile locked in the corner of his lips, causing your heart to warm in the same intensity he could melt some parts of your body that shouldn't be melting under your uniform skirt.
You smiled back at him, listening when the kitchen delivered his order, picking up the tray and bringing it to him with some napkins for the extra sauce that he always took of his mustache after licking his lips to enjoy every single drop of his mocha.
As always, he took the moment to touch your hands at the sides of the tray, caressing it before looking at you.
"Thank you, princess..."
This time, you decided to break the routine, caressing his hand back with your thumb, earning a new smile in his lips. A satisfied one.
"You're welcome, Sunshine," you joked, smiling at him and going back to your work when he started eating, sometimes looking at him, exchanging glares in a sweet way to start your day of work.
At the end of his breakfast, you saw him picking a pen in his pocket, writing something in one of his napkins and rolling it in a ten dollars note - the tip he was always leaving for you every morning, making you think he should be rich as fuck to expend around three hundred dollars in tips for you per month, but it was something you never questioned.
He pinned the note in the cup holder as he was used to doing and smiling at you, waving good-bye to leave to the door that would take him to the back of the store - the same way of every day, but today, a little faster, since his phone was ringing.
You went there, still seeing when he picked up his phone before leaving through the door, picking the note and the napkin to see what he wrote.
In the napkin, his phone number and a smiley face beside a little note.
"Send me a Whats. See you soon, princess. Your Sunshine."
"Uhh... Sunshine gave you his number! What are you waiting for?" July joked looking over your shoulder "Send him your number, silly princess," she said, making you smile.
"We can't use our phones at work, July. I'll do it tonight," you answered, causing her to frown.
"Hey, you can't use your phone inside the store, but nothing prevents you to send him a quick message while making me the enormous favor to put the garbage outside. Uh? Go go go, girl! Miss Fortune doesn't bless you twice in a day! Go!" she giggled, pushing you towards the kitchen doors.
You got into the kitchen laughing, picking up the bags of garbage and stopping by your locker to pick up your phone, sending him a sweet message as an answer to the note he left for you, saving his number at your phone with the sweet nickname he accepted so well.
"Here is my number, Sunshine. Can't wait for tomorrow's dawn. Your princess".
After placing your phone back into your locker, you started walking out of the dressing room, picking up the garbage bags and taking it outside to the container. Your thoughts flying over the clouds, thinking of what could be starting that morning.
One by one you carried the bags outside, too distracted to notice you weren't alone until the curse in a familiar voice invaded your ears, freezing your body near the back doors of the store.
"Why the fuck do I always have to clean up his fucking mess? I'm not a damn garbage man, Ubbe! I'm the fucking dealer, not a damn clean up team! This was supposed to be Sigurd's work..."
Your heart raced into your chest. It was his brother's names...
It was his voice...
What in the actual fuck was going on?
Your fear and your education were screaming at you to go back into the store. To forget what you heard and just let it go. It was not of your business! You shouldn't be listening to anyone else's calls!
But those words...
You stood at the door, trying not to be noticed as the conversation continued, looking at the direction where his voice was coming from, seeing Hvitserk's back turned at you as he was motioning his hand, talking angrily alone at the alley while his other hand was holding the phone against his ear.
"To hell with these childish fights! This is Sigurd's work, not mine! I'll not sell the stuff, organize the money, make the spots administration and still have to clean up Ivar's stupidity! If he fucking got an officer killed, he can fucking get rid of the damn body and clean up his own damn butt!"
Your blood ran cold at the same instant. Not only because he was clearly talking about a murder, but because July was right after all: Miss Fortune does not bless you twice on the same day.
Hvitserk turned around while talking and his eyes caught your figure at the door, livid, looking straight at him and fucking up any chances you could have to tell him you never listened to that conversation.
"Shit." you heard him cursing.
His eyes looking at you, running shivers down your spine.
"I call you later," he said, before hanging up the phone in his brothers face and start walking towards you "Princess..."
You didn't even wait for him to say anything. Your legs acted before your mind and ran into the store, locking the back doors to prevent him to come in. Your heart beating like a drum when you glued your back against the wall, seeing him standing near the door, looking inside at the little circular window in the center of the wooden door.
He knocked at the door and your heart almost stopped when you heard his voice on the other side. The fear bringing tears to your eyes.
"Princess... Come outside, let me explain..." he started, but not seeing you through the windows, you heard his tone changing. "Fucking shit! Damn Ivar, you fucked up everything! Fuck!" he grunted, seeming to leave the alley.
You could bet he would appear at the store, trying to talk. And at the balcony, you would have no reason to avoid him. There was no other way...
You went inside, picking up your bag, finding July at the hall while walking back to the backdoors.
"Ann? What happened? You're pale!" she asked. "Are you crying? Babe, what's wrong?"
"I'm not feeling ok," you answered, trying to create an excuse "Someone called me with terrible news, I need to go, please tell the manager I'll compensate tomorrow".
"Oh dang, the day was so good," she said, wiping your tears "Go, babe, I'll take care of everything," she said.
And you hurried up through the doors, trying to go away through the back alley before he could reach the front doors of the coffee shop to reach you.
He would do it, right?
Of course…
Of course, you were wrong.
Your steps didn't even turn the corner at the end of the alley and you felt his heavy grip pulling you back, inside of a door in the back of another building you never saw open.
But somehow, he seemed to have the key.
One of his hands surrounded your waist. The other placed a cloth in your face, covering your mouth and your nose, forcing you to breathe the strange and acid smell that invaded your lungs.
You tried to scream and fight his grip.
Tears rolling down your face when your mind went through the worse moment of your life and you remembered your mother struggling against your father's grip just as you were doing now.
But he wasn't screaming names or strangling your neck. Instead, you heard him sizzling in your ear as that stuff you were breathing started to make you numb. Your fight failing as his voice invaded your ears, clearly frustrated.
"Shh... I won't hurt you, princess... I won't hurt you," he said, supporting your body against his when your legs started to be too smooth to keep you standing.
The numbness started darkening your vision and the last thing you remember to see was Hvitserk's disappointed expression, lifting you up to his arms and mumbling at your ear before everything became dark.
"It wasn't what I was planning, princess... I'm so sorry..."
And then...
Silence.

How Ace gets her fire power and meets the Turtles. Part 3
Time for part 3 hehe didnt thought this would become a longer fic but why not it is to much fun to write this so it will have more than my planned 4 parts^^
Tumblr media
Part 3
A week later Ace stayed with the turtles she was slowly getting used to her power even thought she still burned her clothes and some things around her. She loved to play with Mikey and he loved it when she fell asleep on him carefully pulling her closer to him.
"What the fuck are ya doing?" asked Raph walking in as he busted Mikey leaning closer to the young womans face to kiss her.
"I DIDNT DO ANYTHING!" the youngest turtles yelled and get quick off her running away making the big brute growl at him. He walked over to the snoring queen that was his nickname for her and pushed her softly down to lay on the couch putting a blanket over her before he left.
Leonardo watched all in silence he still had problems to warm up to this woman, she was a danger for the family as long she was not able to get the control over her powers. So he hoped Donatello would soon finish the antidote to make her back human.
What he didn’t know was that Donatello was not really working on it he found a new project for himself, he worked on special cloth for her to not burn from her power. It was not easy he worked for days with a few hours sleep but it was worth it. He started to like Ace, she was different and sometimes weird but she was really caring. The purple masked genius stopped his work and thought for a moment back it was second day she was here he felll in light sleep in the night on his laptop and she walked in seeing him like this.
He heard her talking about he shouldnt work this much before he could say something he felt the blanket of the bed from the other room over him and felt a kiss on his cheek. Listining to her wishing him a nice rest and sweet dreams before she left.
After this day she came every night doing the same he even busted himself sitting like this on purpose to wait for her.
Ace woke up after a few minutes sitting up stretching her arms over her head, her sleepy eyes meet with Leonardos ocean blue one.
"Good your awake its time for our meditation hour" he explained to her she nodded and get up following him to the meditation room, a small room with a buddah statue on a little altar with five pillows to sit on and inscense, who Leo put on to make the room smell of green tea or lotus flowers.
Both took their pillows and sat down on them doing some breathing excercises before the meditation started. Leonardo would never admit it but he enjoyed to be around Ace, she was different sometimes even more annoying then Mikey but she could be serious at the right time and was much more mature than his little brother. He opened his eyes to look at her she really seemed to be happy here but he could see it sometimes in her eyes that she missed her family up there, she told them on the fourth day that she had no mother or father only the kids on orphagane and the old house keeper Al.
The leader still not fully trust her but he believed her words after he let Donnie find out all informations to know for sure she was not lying to them.
"Am I burning again?" Aces sudden question made the blue clad mutant almost jump in surprise.
"N-No I just..." he started and stopped as she opened her eyes to look at him.
"Oh I get it you wanted to trick me to test my concentration and...I lose" she said and sighed.
"Yes you did" he mumbled and quick turned his face away from her taking a few breaths it was not easy to caught him of guard but this woman managed to do it almost every time. He felt something falling against his arm, he looked over she was snoring her head leaned against his shoulder her arms wrapped around his arm and pressing her big breasts against it.
"Oh kami!" he whimpered as he felt the heat reaching his cheek.
"Leo" she whispered in her sleep this was to much for the calm leader he quick pulled his arms away and made a loud chirrping sound as she fell back, he quick leaned over her catching her with his arm around her, his face close to her breasts, he blushed darker as her sweet and firy scent.
He was never been this close to a woman and her few bikini top was so tiny only covering the most needed, he never understand while she dressed like that. It was so exposive and not really lady alike.
"Hey fearless dad...." Raph stopped Leo looked up at him and froze as Raph saw Ace in his arms happly snoring.
"Raph" she mumbled in her sleep.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YA ALL!" the rebel exploded and pushed Leo of Ace grabbing her throwing her over his shoulder.
"You act like teens damit yeah she is hot so what? Do ya really need to get all fucking touchy around her?" he asked his brother looking disappionted at him.
"Raph it’s not like you..." Leo started but the big brute slammed the door shut in his face.
"Raphael?" Ace asked as she woke back up he didn’t heard her he was rumbling about Leonardo and Mikey acting like horny teens they where adults now.
Ace was hot so what she would never start something with them she was mutant right but she looked still human after she got the control over her power she will be out and back under humans. And forget about them like a bad dream right?
"Raphael where are we going?" she asked him louder. He stopped and put her carefully down.
"No where I just saved ya butt snoring queen" he explained to her short and wanted to walk away she held on to his wrist.
"Can we train together feel like for some hours in the gym" she asked him while holding on to him. He growled lowly why couldnt say no to her. He felt all weird around her and still he didnt wanted her to go.
"You are burning!" he told her as she let go and started screaming around him until her catched and layed her down rolling her over the floor.
"Oh man I liked this bermudas" she pouted as she sat there only in her tiny orange bikini.
"Oh damn..."he groaned and looked for something to cover her up he found a xxl Kiss shirt and put it quick over her head.
"There ya go" he smirked relieved his racing heart slowly calming down. Ace stand up and started to walk past him on the way to the gym.
"You coming?" she asked while Raph tried to not look at her big round butt barely covered by the shirt.
A few minutes later Ace was laying on the bench lifting weights while Raph sat on another bench watching her lifting almost the half of what he could usually lifted.
"Not bad babe" he complimented her.
She smiled while kept on working on her body, this turtle brothers where already a part of her big family in her eyes.
All four special in their own way. Leo the caring leader who helped her to stay calm to not accidently start to burn again, Donatello who worked so hard to try to find a way to make her human again. Raphael who was a big brute sometimes rude with a big heart and Mikey the cute baby face...she felt the most conection with it was like she knew him her whole life. She saw all as family and her big brothers, even Mikey was with twenty one older than her.
Their father Splinter was strict but still really caring and always worried about his sons while they went out on patrol every night she stayed with him watching his spain soap operas. The old rat had a weakness for dramatic love stories, for the young girl it felt like he once was part of one as he was younger.
And still she missed the kids, especially Trish the little mute girl needed someone to talk with her in sign language, the young woman studied it especially for her so someone would talk with her. She asked herself if the turtles would allow her to take her down here to them.
Thats why she put the lift down on the holders and sat back up.
"Raph can you please get your bros and dad in the living room I need to ask you something" she asked the red masked turtle, who looked first confused at her before he nodded and get up
. "Fine but ya own me something for that" he told her smirking before he left the room.
