* Some of the named Aces show up (pulled from an excellent mod on Nexus that created actual assault records for the enemy aces from 7; the Su-47 from Cape Rainy, an EASA test pilot; the F/A-18 from Faceless Soldier; now an EASA field coordinator for a whole Hornet/Flanker drone squadron, has a Copro unit as a backseater like Mihaly, named "Copine"; the MiG-21 ace from the first mission returns to head a squadron that all use Su-35s, except for him: Silber vibes); the Mirage ace from Stonehenge shows up as the leader of Erusea's demonstration team that got swept up into actual combat; the Su-35 ace from the night Anchorhead mission is retconned into a Conservative ex-noble who stays alive.

* Many named squadrons survive/get reconstituted as they would in actual wartime.

* Yellow Squadron is here! Yellow 4 didn't act dumb and stayed behind after getting guerilla-bombed in AC04, so she leads the Yellows now. She and Mobius got along so well after the war that they got married. Her name is Algerian-based and her callsign is the French word for "catgirl" bc some Yellow 13 concept art had a catgirl on his flight jacket.

* Rosa gets Royal Guards now, some flying F-15EX and some flying X-02S. They are very competent, despite their ceremonial functions and fancy white-and-orange Erusean rose paintjobs.

* An Erusean intelligence/internal security squadron called "Polonium" works with the LRSSG in taking out the Alicorn

* The Alicorn has an anti-mutiny occur during the events of SP03, and doesn't get sunk, goes on to form a naval dream with the Marigold and the Eminent Domain. Torres gets to rant about "crisp white sheets" in a jail cell.

* The Erusean cowboy F-4 pilots from SP01 get to stick around since they weren't TGTs in that mission, and they were fun as hell

* The one poor MiG-31 with all the "mechanical issues" from SP01 and SP02 ends up leading the squadron by virtue of being the only one still alive, which may or may not be one of the squadrons that did the Erusean side of the satellite oopsie via ASAT missiles (like the MiG-31 can carry IRL)

* Nuclear ordnance is considered as a backup to Stonehenge in taking out the Arsenal Birds. Luckily Railgun Mommy McOnie gets Stonehenge working as in canon (and without randomly using civilians as surveyors)

* Lots of countries represented in an actual multinational IUN set up! Yukes! Belkans! Ustio! Emmeria! Estovakia! Cascadia! The Federation!

« Black cat » en 1979, la detective, petite copine de Spider Man. Felicia Hardy, alias la Chatte noire (« Black Cat » en VO) est une super-héroïne évoluant dans l’univers Marvel créée par Marv Wolfman et le dessinateur Keith Pollard, elle apparaît pour la première fois dans The Amazing Spider-Man (vol. 1) #194.

Val c'est Hansel de Hansel & Gretel, il a une soeur jumelle et oui il chasse les sorcières comme dans Witch Hunters laissez-moi finir. Il est muet à cause du trauma. Il a une petite bouille trop mimi (d'ailleurs je le surnomme Pipou quand j'en parle avec les copines) sauf quand il sourit car il a taillé ses dents en pointes.

Il aime les explosifs et fabriquer des pièges.

Saeki est un intellectuel et un playboy d'origine coréenne qui s'y connait en créatures exotiques mythologiques de toutes sortes. C'est un tireur redoutable, et aussi le comic relief de la bande. Il cache néanmoins une part d'ombre qui sera révélé plus tard dans le récit...

Synopsis King of the Mound

Through a combination of numerous injuries, a weak frame, and financial difficulties, the protagonist Lee Jinyong gave up on his path to being a baseball athlete and lived as a factory employee instead.

One day, the spirit of Kim Jinho, the baseball hero who was hailed as a legend in Korea, as well as Lee Jinyong’s idol who passed away 10 years ago, appeared before him. At the same time, an unknown notice appeared, stating that the ‘Baseball Manager’ would start,

and Lee Jinyong gained an ability that gave him the constitution of a pitcher, similar to a game avatar. He returns to the field to become <King of the Mound>.

(Comment: it's so rare to have a sport manhwa that's actually good, and this is one of them. Sadly it got dropped by the translation team, hoping I could find another sport manhwa to binge.)

On continue mon aventure de remplissage du wiki Hero Corp. J'ai pas mal avancé. Créé beaucoup de nouvelles pages. Quasiment tous les épisodes ont une page (il en manque 10 de la saison 4), mais après il faut faire les résumés détaillés et tout 😵 

Concernant la série, j'en suis au milieu de la saison 5, donc bientôt fini, uwu.

Je suis dégoutée parce que la copie de l'application que j'ai trouvé n'a pas tout le contenu débloqué, je n'ai accès qu'au premier chapitre du premier livre interactif et c'est tout 😭  D'ailleurs, j'ai recopié tout le premier chapitre et il est dispo en ligne (c'est très moche mais voilà) sur itch.io si vous voulez le lire !

Donc j'attends une réponse de Simon, qui a dit qu'il demanderait à la prod voir s'ils ont les archives de ces livres. On croise les doigts 🤞

La sérié est totalement incohérente sur les dates. Y'en a pas une de cohérente, c'est très drôle mdr. Enfin non, parce que à ce rythme je vais devoir faire une page consacrée aux incohérences temporelles. Elles sont quasiment toutes dues aux comics, d'ailleurs. Mais comme c'est Simon qui a écrit la BD aussi, bah... c'est canon quoi. C'est même pas comme si c'était une personne tierce avec quelques infos qui l'avait écrite.

J'ai refait la page d'accueil du wiki maintenant que j'ai les droits d'admin. Qu'est-ce que vous en pensez ?

J'ai très envie de dessiner des petits stickers pour agrémenter le wiki. Genre, Klaus qui hurle Pinaaaage pour le mettre à côté. Et Miss Moore pour la colonne de droite, que je réécrirai avec sa voix.

Mais bon. Faut que je m'y mette quoi. Et j'ai déjà pas mal de boulot avec juste remplir le wiki 🤣  Un jour peut-être.

Greetings everyone! Hope you’re all fine and dandy, and ready for some fun. Today’s title instantly become a recent favorite and I’ll ask you to not judge it by the title. Sure, you might not know what to expect from a series called Glasses Cloth and Playlist, but I hope you’ll hear me out and let me try to convince you that this is a gem. Another thing. Gotta brag about another webtoon I’ve been reading for a while: Pathfinder over on Copin Comics.  I follow both series that Yoon Jiseon is a part of over on that site, but Pathfinder is absolutely spectacular in shock value alone through its balance of steady builds of both the world and characters vs. its much more sudden, heavier moments.

The series starts with Garam on the night before her 25th birthday, arguing with her parents over her struggles to find a full-time job.  Immediately, she’s a character that many people within her age range can connect with: Dealing with the pressure of others, as well as her own insecurities, telling her that she’s not where she needs to be in her life.  She’s by all means an adult, but it’s only been a few years since she’s stepped into the adult world.  She’s focused on what opportunities she missed out on and comparing herself to other people of a similar age who seem like they’ve become more mature or successful than herself.  She wants to escape from the stress, self-doubt, and frustration of her situation.

Well, the universe grants her that birthday wish: Garam wakes in the middle of the night to find a portal to another world in her room.  After her first experience in this other world, it’s actually not that long after that she’s able to return to her own... but at a terrible cost.  We learn that she is a “pathfinder,” someone who travels to other worlds in search of “paths” that can act as a currency to grant them special gifts or abilities.  However, in return, their original worlds become a base for them, forever frozen in time at the moment the pathfinder leaves with all of the other inhabitants of that world vanishing.  Garam is, of course, shattered by this revelation: Filled with the regret over how she spent the last moments with her family and finding herself completely alone.  People she comes to rely on at the start of the series either can’t stay by her side for their own reasons or betray her.  She’s completely lost with this sudden burden of restoring her world by finding as many paths as she can if she ever wants to see her loved ones again.

Moreover, this world that Garam enters isn’t a welcoming one.  It’s set in a medieval-fantasy setting, the standard for a lot of these isekai-type stories.  However, she doesn’t have any knowledge of the world beforehand, a new family she reincarnated into that would support her, or a pre-determined love interest, or any special abilities outside of a map to guide her to the paths.  She’s a normal human thrown into an incredibly dangerous place where people are more likely to deceive her than they are to help her; a world that punishes people for being naive or getting too involved with others.  

Remember playing kickball on the playground as a kid?  One minute you’re having fun; the next, the ball comes flying at your head or another kid shoves you to the ground and all you know is pain.  Or maybe you went somewhere new and exciting for the first time, so you ran ahead of your parents only to trip, fall, and end up with a busted knee.  This entire series is filled with those moments, but their consequences are far worse.  During each arc, Garam tries to keep a positive attitude thanks in no small part to what true companions she does manage to find in this world.  She’s open with how much she cares for others, and--since money swiftly becomes a nonissue for her, at least as of the arcs I’ve read so far--doesn’t care what expenses she has to make to look after them.  She gets hurt often and sees a lot of abuse/atrocities committed by the people in this world, and yet despite this, continues to let her guard down.  

We learn that part of this is to protect her own sense of identity: Garam worries that, even if she succeeds in returning her world to normal, it won’t be the same when she changes thanks to all that she’s going through to get it back.  It’s a fight she inevitably can’t win.  However, the moments of peace we, as the audience, are also given--the quiet periods where we get to know the characters a little more intimately and can laugh with them as they heal--also force us to let our own guards down. This is especially effective if you’re reading the chapters daily or weekly, as is the case of many webtoon formats, instead of all at once.  We get a breather, so when we return to characters sharing delicious food or helping a grandmother clean her house, by the time the next disaster comes up, we’re just as distanced from the last as Garam herself is.  We forget about the danger, so it hits us as suddenly and harshly as it hits the main character.   

As of now, I’m almost 50 episodes into the series.  I have no way of knowing how things will go in the future, but I do see a definite connection between Garam’s experiences in the fantasy world and her real-world struggles.  The fantasy world can serve as the adult one.  By the time we’re Garam’s age, many of us have loved ones ripped away from us and it’s easy to feel like we’ve been thrown head-first into a realm we don’t fully understand.  Our parents can’t protect us from the darker realities of life anymore: We have to protect ourselves and earn our own keep.  We can’t go back to how things used to be, because even if some things stay the same externally, we’re also bound to change.  Aside from the handful of people left in our lives that we trust, we’re alone.  And, no matter what, it is up to us alone--whether or not we accept the help of others--to find our own ‘path.’
