What is happening in the world of motorsports?
Ducati won MotoGP constructors after Bagnaia won in Thailand
Williams added yellow color to their livery for Mercado Libre sponsorship
Marko has been yapping that Mark Webber has been in contact with Red Bull for potential seat for Oscar
But also Zak Brown and Helmut Marko had like. A lil beef over media about Lando and his mental health (tbh I didn’t read further into it I just hope they all disappear)
Oh and Marko also said that Red Bull will choose Max’s teammate for 2025 at the end of this season
Speaking of Oscar, he appeared in Australian Forbes in category 30 under 30
And Franco was on the cover of Forbes Argentina!!
Also McLaren lodged a right to review for the penalty Lando got in COTA, the penalty got rejected like everyone expected, because they didn’t bring any new or substantial facts for the decision making
On the other hand there are reports from Craigh Slater (I probably butchered the name I am sorry) that the drivers meeting sparked a fire debate about overtaking rules, track limits and having a nose first in the apex, so FIA basically admitted there is a gap in the regulations that Max is using to his favour and they will close it up, so the overtaking rules will change from Qatar onwards
Franco mentioned he probably won’t have an F1 seat until at least 2026 despite rumours that Red Bull and Sauber both were looking into his contract options (probably for VCARB in Red Bull’s case)
Jock Clear reported that Ferrari didn’t change the flexibility of their front wing to resemble those of MCL and Merc (I am not convinced but ok)
Alonso officially gets his 400th start in F1 today (he also missed out on Thursday aka media day because he is sick)
George had to get checked in medical center after his FP2 crash which was worth about 30G
After COTA promoters got fined for track invasion, they are now looking to fix another thing – track limits (there is a word about installing gravel traps like they did at Red Bull Ring)
Fun fact from the FP1 session featuring all the rookies: Robert Shwartzman got a 5 places grid drop penalty for the next race he enters (if ever) for overtaking under double yellow flags
Horner said that Yuki will be testing RB20 at the end of the season in Abu Dhabi (but who knows)
McLaren brought major floor upgrade to Mexico but only for Lando so far
Alan Walker apparently published his Charles Leclerc remix in a new EP Neon Nights (I am not even kidding)
George’s upgraded floor (the one he broke in COTA) won’t be available until Brazil at least
There is a rumour Valtteri is in talks to become Mercedes’ reserve driver (he will be put on the shelf next to Mick help)
Bruno del Pino joined MP Motorsport in F3, while Matias Zagazeta will join DAMS in F3
Lia Block is racing in F4 for ART in Monza this weekend
American Express is now F1’s official partner, so it will appear at GPs next year
Jaguar and Nissan both breached the cost cap in FE (they will miss the first half day of testing and received a financial fine)
Nikolas Tombazis confirmed it wasn’t just McLaren (who admitted they did further changes to their rear wing) that was hit with clarifications and had to change up their design a bit
Max and Checo got a… couple of the year award?? Um?
Charles became a jet fighter pilot, the footage will come out on 3rd November on canal plus
Last but not least, happy belated birthday Roscoe Hamilton!!

Donington Park 2008: When Casey Stoner was signed by Ducati for 2007, he was on a one year contract and intensely aware that he was not Ducati's first choice for the seat. While his talent had already been apparent in the lower classes, his initially promising rookie season had been tarnished by his frequent crashes (bagging him the nickname 'Rolling Stoner'), and he also had acquired a reputation for being difficult to work with. Ducati's first choice was not available until 2008 - the expectation was that Stoner might well be axed once Marco Melandri was signed to the team. Nobody expected Stoner to clinch his first premier class victory in the opening race of the season; he was not even expected to be a title contender, let alone dominate the class as he went on to do. Ducati had responded best to the introduction of the 800cc regulations, building a capricious bike that in the right hands would prove to be blindingly quick - while also benefiting from the supposed performance advantage provided by the Bridgestone tyres at most circuits of the calendar. They were responsible for the bike... but it was pure dumb luck that led to them hiring the one rider capable of riding it to such heights. Stoner stormed to the title well clear of his championship rivals, capable of both unassailable dominance of races from start to finish and triumphing in all-out wheel-to-wheel battles. He memorably defeated Valentino Rossi in duels in both Qatar and Catalunya, proving himself immune to the sort of pressure Rossi's past rivals had proven so susceptible to. As for his other rival, Dani Pedrosa, who had beaten Stoner to the 2005 250cc title - he was supposed to be the main young challenger to Rossi's throne until Stoner wrenched that role away from him.
Stoner went into 2008 as the clear favourite to defend his title. He was dismissive of Rossi's choice to switch to the Bridgestone tyres, believing he had not gotten the credit he deserved for his title amongst all this talk of straight line speed and tyre advantages. His title defence got off to the perfect start with another victory at Qatar... but life quickly got more difficult for the defending champion from there. His race at Jerez was messy, with multiple dramatic off-track excursions - and his Estoril experience was tough enough even before a loose Dorna-provided camera began swinging off his bike. By the time he got to Shanghai, he was increasingly vocal and irate in his frustrations with Ducati, who he felt had approached the season with too much complacency. Stoner was in no way mollified by the third place he secured at that race, telling a reporter in parc fermé that "a podium this far off is just about not worth it". With a crisis meeting of sorts within Ducati as everyone involved aired their grievances, Stoner's season was going to need some serious transformation to put him back in championship contention. Shanghai was followed by a horrendous race in Le Mans, but there were already some more positive noises from inside Ducati - and their home race of Mugello proved a happier hunting ground, with a second place secured in a tight fight against Pedrosa. Catalunya brought another podium as Stoner repeated his duel with Rossi of the year before, this time having to narrowly concede defeat and settle for third.
More important than the podium, however, was the post-race test, with Stoner immediately confident that the team had finally gotten on top of their struggles that season (primarily with the electronics). He carried that confidence into the pre-event press conference at Donington and confirmed just how justified it was by dominating the practise sessions. Rossi's front row grid position led to some hope there might be a fight for the victory, but Stoner had no interest in hanging around at the start of the race. As Rossi attempted to hunt him down, he found himself in Stoner's position of the previous race - being waylaid by enthusiastic rookie Andrea Dovizioso, who once again had managed to embroil the second place runner in a fight that allowed the leader to escape out front. Once Rossi had freed himself of Dovizioso, he had the fast-charging Pedrosa to deal with. With Stoner's lead increasingly unassailable, it was now Rossi and Pedrosa's turn to hash it out for second place - with Rossi prevailing ahead of Pedrosa in third, both far adrift of Stoner's dominant display. Stoner was not a popular winner with the British crowd, which had taken a disliking to him the year before and to Stoner's considerable irritation expressed that hostility all weekend. Regardless, Stoner moved up to third place in the championship standings ahead of Jorge Lorenzo, taking his first victory since the opening round and reestablishing himself as a title threat. It signalled a return to the form that had proved so very ominous for rivals the year before - who had good reason to be worried that once Stoner started winning, he simply would not stop.
#i hesitate to tag this as a race rec because the dani/vale fight is quite fun but also not like. earth shattering#BUT i do firmly believe that laguna 08 is one of those races that really suffers from detaching it from the context of the season it was in#basically i think it's important to sit through a couple hours of watching casey run away thirty seconds up the road#to really put yourself in valentino's mindset by the time you actually get to america#which obviously is the point of this entire exercise#//#brr brr#race rec tag#i do have a few more Thoughts on the performative arm around casey's shoulder for the podium photo but. not for now#funny photo out of context mind u. always love when a guy has to third wheel a burgeoning feud

كن التغير الذي تريد أن تراه في العالم. *
- Mahatma Gandhi
Be the change you want to see in the world.*
As an irate and highly Western educated Qatari business friend of mine put it she is so looking forward to watching the World Cup in the USA in 2026 then she can return the favour and moralise to white liberal Americans about their societal shortcomings.
As she put it since Americans love to moralise to the world it’s only fair to point out their sins: from genocide of its Indian natives to the evil of the slave trade as well as the killing 60 million babies in their mother’s wombs to the mutilating and cutting off body parts of little children just so they can delude themselves into believing that can be a boy or a girl (terms they can’t even define) based not on biology but feelings, and to their hatred and active break up of the nuclear family unit as the foundation of society.
Or that Obama authorised more strikes in his first year than Bush carried out during his entire presidency. A total of 563 strikes, largely by drones, targeted Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen during Obama’s two terms, compared to 57 strikes under Bush. Civilians killed in those countries resulted in the deaths of over 3797 people, including 542 civilians. Black Lives Matter but not so much non-American Muslim women and children slaughtered. Let’s not even talk about the history of American wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
And so on and so on.
But she won’t because she has manners and she understands she is a guest in a foreign country and has to respect its laws and customs, even those one might strongly disagree with.
As much as I could take issue with her arguments, and as much as I dislike the authoritarian nature of Qatar, it is a sovereign Islamic state like any other Islamic country in the Middle East and the other Muslim majority states in the world. Having said that it’s not in the same league as truly oppressive states like Putin’s Russia or Xi’s China. If it was then there would be no large Western and and even greater non-Western presence of people here (greater than the Qataris themselves), living and working quite happily for years.
As for labour abuse there is a case to answer for but it’s no different than any other country where labour are often screwed. All the contracts for buildings are done by Western and Chinese companies and they are meant to enforce strong labour laws - but inevitably they find ways around it or are too slow to do so. The Qataris are guilty for not cracking down on the abuse by these companies of labour laws it passed after intense outside pressure (and rightly so). Many of working migrants - mostly from India - have housing and food paid for them and they earn far more than they would back in their home countries. Of course there are documented cases of migrant labour abuse but not on the industrial scale that some Western media outlets are falsely reporting.
If you go to any stadium here in Qatar, you will inevitably hear a lot of people speaking in Hindi - which I speak too from my childhood in India. That’s because the Indian presence at this World Cup is very strong. The hyped up labour abuse of migrant workers hasn’t stopped Indians coming out to enjoy the World Cup. In fact, statistics published by the Qatar establishment show that Indians constitute 9% of the fans who have come for the World Cup. Saudi Arabia, which has a land border with Qatar, accounts for 11% and sits at the top. India is in the second position, and surprisingly followed by the US who make up 7% of visitors.
For the droves of visiting Americans here they are truly shocked how futuristic, slick, and modern Qatar is in contrast to the urban decaying of their cities. The standard of living is higher than anything they are used to. They are also overwhelmed by the sincere and friendly hospitality of Arab people here.
The hand wringing and sheer nonsense written in some parts of the Western media about Qatar is embarrassingly untrue. It’s a caricature of the truth in the same way Qataris have a caricatured impression of the West only just obsessed with sex and alcohol. One is confronted here at the World Cup of genuine footballing fans from England, Wales, the US, and other European countries apologising to their Qatari hosts for the misinformed - sometimes bordering on outright racism - press articles on life in Qatar.
You can drink here - just not at the stadiums itself. Previous World Cups have done the same and no one kicked up a fuss. Most fans have said it made for a better and cosier atmopshere for opposing fans and for families especially. Opposing fans mingle freely and have a good laugh together in a safe and well run World Cup. There are well catered fan zones. Plenty of beer is on tap here in the bars and hotels, though it will set you back around £14 a pint.
You can have sex with whomever you want - just don’t do it in public. Laws are not targeted specifically to gays but equally to hetrosexuals e.g. no public displays of affection like kissing or holding hands. Whatever you decide to do in your hotel room is up to you.
In truth everyone looks the other way.
Is the World Cup corrupt. Of course it is. Every World Cup has been. FIFA has been shown to be corrupt from almost its inception. Qataris are not immune to corruption but as many Qataris have said to me the Qataris just learned everything from the West. They observed carefully how we do business in the West. Money and power talks. This is how the game is played.
But I will say this in FIFA’s defence that over the last twenty years, FIFA has demonstrated a commitment to open its product up to a wider audience and take its premier sporting contest, the World Cup, to new heartlands.
The USA saw the benefit of this initiative in 1994, before Japan and South Korea became both the first Asian nations and the first co-hosts for the historic competition in 2002. In 2010, the World Cup arrived at a fifth continent (Africa) and a new heartland was reached with the contest being taken to South Africa. In 2022, after a return to Brazil and a sojourn to Russia, the Islamic Middle East now becomes the next bright destination for the Modiale bandwagon, as Qatar benefits from the truly global game.
The Middle East region is among the fastest growing areas for football in the world and promises to be an endless stream of young, passionate football fans for years to come. And with football one hopes social progress follows. But if it happens it will be on their terms, and not ours.

WASHINGTON, Nov 28 (Reuters) - The U.S. is asking Israel to take greater care to protect civilians and limit damage to infrastructure if it launches an offensive in southern Gaza to avoid further displacements that would overwhelm humanitarian efforts, senior U.S. officials said.
The Israeli offensive in northern Gaza has proven devastating, with thousands of Palestinians killed and vast numbers of survivors left homeless and forced to flee south by a relentless bombing campaign and a lack of essentials such as food, power and water.
As Israel begins to look toward south Gaza to continue battling Hamas militants after a pause in fighting to release hostages, U.S. officials said they have been talking to the Israelis about taking greater care in the south, where there were now about 2 million people.
The message has been delivered from President Joe Biden on down, the officials told reporters on a conference call.
"We have reinforced this in very clear language with the government of Israel - very important that the conduct of the Israeli campaign when it moves to the south must be done in a way that is to a maximum extent not designed to produce significant further displacement of persons," one official said.
"You cannot have the sort of scale of displacement that took place in the north, replicated in the south. It will be beyond disruptive, it will be beyond the capacity of any humanitarian support network," the official said, adding "It can't happen."
The official said the campaign needed to be "deconflicted" from power, water, humanitarian sites and hospitals in south and central Gaza, meaning avoid attacks on those types of infrastructure sites.
He said the Israelis had been receptive to the notion "that a different type of campaign has to be conducted in the south."
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Monday described an extended truce between Israel and Palestinian militants Hamas as "a glimpse of hope and humanity," but warned it was not enough time to meet the aid needs of the Gaza Strip.
Mediator Qatar said on Monday the initial four-day truce had been extended by two days, continuing a pause in seven weeks of warfare that has killed thousands and laid waste to the Palestinian enclave.
A second U.S. official said Washington would like to see the humanitarian pause extended as long as possible.
The official said the first of three relief aid flights conducted by the U.S. military would land in northern Sinai on Tuesday carrying badly needed supplies for Gaza, with two more planned in coming days.
The flights would bring medical items, food aid and winter items that would be delivered by the United Nations.
The officials said aid deliveries to Gaza were currently running at about 240 truckloads a day but this was nowhere near enough to meet needs.
They said the effort would need to turn to commercial contracts to get deliveries up to 400 trucks a day and the U.S. side had been discussing this with Israel.
"To get that volume of assistance, inspection procedures will need to be increased and enhanced and you're going to need to resort to commercial contracting within Gaza to meet the trucks coming in from Egypt," the first official said.
"We hope that after this pause concludes that can be phase two of the humanitarian program," he said

My FIFA Journey
When I was in still in the Philippines, I had known already that FIFA World Cup 2022 will be held in Qatar. On October 7, 2021, I arrived at Qatar for work purposes for a three-year period. A heightened excitement runs through my veins as the event draws near. During the FIFA season, all schools in Qatar would be closed and that means that our last day of school would be November 17, 2022, and the opening of FIFA WC 2022 would be on November 20, 2022, at Al Bayt Stadium.
As early as September of 2022, I and some colleagues did apply as FIFA Volunteer but after knowing that we will not receive a salary, we opted to withdraw. What we’ve done next was to visit some agencies advertising for some hospitality and logistic works affiliated by FIFA. Since my interest was working in a bar, I decided to apply as a barman. I even influenced my friends to accept the offer as barman. We accepted the offer by Inspire Training Management as barman as they are specializing on hospitality management. With that, after signing the contract, we were required to attend session and trainings for food and beverages handling. Our trainer Miss Yogi was so effective and inspiring.
The next step we’ve done was undergoing a medical procedure. I passed the medical exam together with my colleagues and we were then given a uniform plus the medical certificate that would certainly grant us the access to the stadium and be allowed to serve the international guests.
A night before the FIFA World Cup opening, I and my friends Loida and Mark went to 900 Park Doha to watch the interesting views. And as we go home, we made ourselves ready for the next day’s big event.
On November 20, 2022, our call time was 10am. We were then transported to Al Bayt Stadium and reach the location about 11 in the morning. Two-way pass was then issued to each of us after two hours. We felt the sun burned our skin after long hours of waiting outside. At 2 pm we were allowed to enter the Workforce Entrance for security checking. Again, we were made to wait for another hour before we were finally able to enter the stadium. We finally settled in our assigned area at 3pm and waited for the guests to arrive. From 3-6pm, we served the guests with beverage that they want. It was the starting point where I see a lot of foreign nationals although I am accustomed to it back when I was in Saudi Arabia.
At 6pm, that was the time that we were allowed to eat food since the guests had been watching the match. We ate hurriedly to prepare for the influx return of the guests during the halftime. I took a glimpse of Jungkook’s performance through a tv screen only without volume, but I was fully aware of what was he singing since the release of the official theme has dominated the airwaves already. We were then required by our floor supervisor to report on our station and continue with our work.
During that moment, I gained friendships with my co-barmen and other food servers. It was a nice moment since I appreciate the approachable attitudes of my supervisors. There are many supervisors to deal with. Luckily, all of them were easy to work with.
We were released by our coordinator at exactly 10:30pm for the next day’s duty at 974. I reached home at 12am. The next morning, we were required to report at 974 around 9am. There was a bus fetching us at Al Rayyan Al Qadeem and there were only four of us in the bus. We reached the 974 stadium and had to clean all the utensils since there was no match that day at 974. It was prepared for the next day’s match wherein we were again assigned there to work as barman. During my first work as a barman at 974, our guests were the Mexicans whom I fondly regarded as the friendliest peoples. They look like an upgraded Filipino. Why do I love the Mexicans? First, I am heavily influenced by Thalia, a Mexican superstar who dominated the Philippine television in the 90’s and early 2000’s. I was never wrong with my admiration to them since my guests were very friendly. Added to that, they were very generous in giving tip.
I had a supervisor named Miss A, whom I am quite upset with. She was always scolding us, the barman as if we were robots and should do what she wanted accordingly. My point was, if ever she wanted us to learn something, why didn’t just she teach us about it. Human as I am, it is just normal to feel pain, and anger towards her for the maltreatment and humiliation I received.
I am a fan of team Argentina ever since I got interested with football back in 2013 when I arrived at Saudi Arabia. I do not play but I just love watching my students play football and sometimes when they submit an essay, most of them would write about their favorite football stars like Leonil Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. I felt the same thing along with the worldwide fans back in 2016 when Messi announced that he would no longer be playing in international football due to multiple losses. Thankfully, he was convinced to play once more. In 2018 FIFA World Cup, team Argentine lost to France during the round of 16, dropping their hopes to the Finals.
Until they won the COPA Americana trophy in 2021 and the much-coveted world cup trophy during the FIFA. Qatar has indeed successfully hosted to one of the biggest events in the world. I, myself had been truly enjoying and entertained by the dazzling array of performing stars who rendered a stunning performance at the FIFA Fan Festival at Al Bida Park. I had personally seen the performances by Julian Marley, The Uprising Band, Myrath, Paul van Dyk, and Sean Paul.
During the Finals, I was not able to watch the match at the big screen at FIFA Fan Festival due to multitude of fans already inside. What I could hear was the loud screaming of fans whenever Argentine team scores. I, together with my friend Marque, was only seated at the nearby entrance and looked only at the mobile screen of a guy who was also denied entrance. The game ended and I went home extremely happy for the result. When I arrived home, the Argentine celebrations continued, and I was able to watch the live broadcast. They were paraded at Lusail Boulevard and throng of supporters showed their admiration and congratulatory remarks. Meanwhile, at Messi’s hometown, millions of Argentine people celebrated the winnings of Argentina at the FIFA World Cup 2022.
I wish it had not come to an end!

bestie i'd love to hear your thoughts of the $sg and me$$i drama
hi bestie!! it's honestly kinda messy...(pun not intended)
okay so lemme get this story straight - he went on a trip to saudi to fulfil his obligations as their tourism ambassador, but failed to obtain the permission to do so from the club. apparently the coaching staff instructions were that if they won the game against lorient, they would have monday and tuesday off, but they didn't, hence only tuesday off. so, messi was clearly absent from training, as he reportedly left to saudi like almost right after the lorient match. as a result, he was handed a two-week unpaid suspension from games and trainings.
and like to makes things worse, rumours are that he seems not interested to stay at psg and is already searching for options, as he will become a free agent in the summer. al-hilal has reportedly made an offer for messi, so this isn't looking too good rn. (and i'm not too sure if the qatar-saudi arabia reported 'beef' also played a part in all this)
is the long suspension necessary? i really have no comment, psg has not handed such a suspension before so idk why they want to do it rn - is it just to show that no player is bigger that the club or perhaps just to make him look bad while he's searching for a new club? also tryna see this from messi's pov, because like he has had to reschedule this trip many time because of his commitments in psg, so he decided to just go and get it done (and also maybe he didn't expect to lose the game?? haha) but yeah with all the transfer rumours going on at the same time, it just doesn't sit too right with many. but like is it wrong for him to be looking at other options rn tho? his contract is ending anyways, and he doesn't seem to want to stay at psg, so why are fans being so harsh?? let the man be lol? at this point, if a player wants to play for the money or for the club, it's really up to them tbh, like what are we to do anyways?
and now messi released an apology video for his actions, but like idk if that's gonna change anything 💀
the fan protests and all...idk man, idt i wanna comment on it haha, but it isn't really a nice thing to talk shit about your own players when they're still playing for your club?? i heard they wanted neymar out too? but like i think gathering in front of his house and insulting him is just a bit too much and disrespectful actually. (and now neymar was found liking a post that called psg a small club so 💀)
but like let's be real, psg also kinda signed them all in the first place for like pr benefits etc (and well they were the only club who could probably afford the wages and demands lol), so i'm not really surprised if players don't really feel like committing tbh. and then there are also rumours about some tensions and questions within the dressing room, especially with kylian's position and powers...
all in all, psg really need to sort their shit out if they wanna be taken seriosly as a club tbh. and as for messi, i honestly got nothing to say - he's probably leaving anyways so good for him i guess? won't be surprised if players slowly staart to leave. with all the psg drama and their recent performance...psg just doesn't spark joy anymore
(sorry for the long ramble sksk 💙)
#honestly ever since they did the whole big signing thing i've actually started to lose interest in the club#i miss the 2014-2017 ish era - psg was actually fun and players were mostly chill too 🫶#but oh well :(#sorry about the long as pointless ramble haha#also ily and imy bestie!! 💙#ice talks#farah tag#ask#answered#psg messi drama

Lionel Messi – No Saudi Arabia offer for Paris St-Germain forward, says Guillem Balague
Paris St-Germain forward Lionel Messi has not been approached by Al Hilal and would not consider a move to Saudi Arabia, Spanish football expert Guillem Balague says.
Recent reports suggest the Argentina international, 35, has been offered £245m to move to the Middle East.
Messi’s contract expires in the summer but, according to Balague, he is close to finalising a deal to remain at PSG.
“There hasn’t been an offer [from Al Hilal],” says Balague.
“PSG and Messi are organising a meeting in the next few weeks to finalise the deal that will keep him in Paris.”
Messi helped Argentina win the World Cup for the first time since 1986 in Qatar last month.
He said after the tournament that he planned to keep on playing for his country, while Balague says he is also determined to win more things in Europe.
“Right now, his motivation is to stay in Europe,” Balague added.
“He is favourite to win the Ballon d’Or, he is still in the Champions League, he has big targets after winning the World Cup.
“Not only does it make no sense to approach him with that offer, it hasn’t existed.”
Messi joined PSG from Barcelona in 2021 and has made 54 appearances for the Ligue 1 side, scoring 24 goals.

F1 planning to split race schedule into regionalised calendar
Formula One has confirmed its commitment to introducing a regionalised calendar in future seasons. As part of its goal of reaching net zero carbon by 2030 the sport will attempt to rationalise a calendar that is currently inefficient and detrimental in its environmental impact. In 2019 F1 committed to reaching net zero and has been adopting new practices to fulfil its target. The sport published its report into the progress made on sustainability, diversity and inclusion on Tuesday. The report catalogues F1’s actions including introducing remote broadcasting operations, redesigning freight containers enabling the use of more efficient aeroplanes and using 100% renewable energy in the sport’s offices. Quick Guide How do I sign up for sport breaking news alerts? Show Download the Guardian app from the iOS App Store on iPhone or the Google Play store on Android by searching for 'The Guardian'. If you already have the Guardian app, make sure you’re on the most recent version. In the Guardian app, tap the Menu button at the bottom right, then go to Settings (the gear icon), then Notifications. Turn on sport notifications. However by far the greatest part of F1’s carbon footprint is generated by air travel to and from race meetings. Next year the calendar is still planned to be 24 races and includes, because of previously agreed contractual arrangements, scheduling that entails unnecessary flying. The race in Miami is to be held immediately after Azerbaijan, Canada is set between Spain and Austria. Japan is followed by Qatar and then the US GP and at the end of the season, Las Vegas is followed by Abu Dhabi. The report confirmed that “planning for a future calendar regionalisation was under way”. It is expected the new schedule would see the sport compete in four regions, each hosting its own “season” comprised of the Middle East, Europe, the Americas and east Asia/Australia. The plans will likely be welcomed by the teams as they entail a cost saving in freight fees and will reduce travel for personnel during a lengthy season. There is, however, no timeline as yet for its implementation. It will take time, likely several years as F1 requires existing contracts, which specify the time of year meetings are held, to end. There will also be negotiations required around races such as Abu Dhabi which pays a premium to be the last GP of the season. The report also said F1 was on course to meet its target of using 100% carbon neutral, sustainable fuel by 2026 when the new engine regulations are applied. This year cars are using a fuel with a 10% sustainable ethanol element. By 2026 the intent is to be running them on a 100% synthetic fuel, which is currently being developed. The fuel will be designed to work in road cars and neutral in that the process used to produce it would be carbon negative to offset the carbon produced by its use in an engine. Ellen Jones, the head of sustainability at F1, welcomed the steps the sport had made in the last three years. “It’s fantastic to see the progress that’s been made already,” she said. “The work that’s going on behind the scenes to bring this strategy to life is tireless and we are confident that we are building strong foundations for the future of our business and sport.” via Formula One | The Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/sport/formulaone

Proven track record of success in professional football.
Nathan Noël Romejo Tjoe-A-On, born 22 December 2001 is a professional footballer who plays as a left-back, center-back or midfielder for EFL Championship club Swansea City. Born in the Netherlands, he plays for the Indonesia national team.
Tjoe-A-On was signed to a three-year contract with Excelsior in 2019, after developing through their youth system. However, injuries stunted his development and he lost around 14 months of playing and training time. After the 2021–22 winter break he returned to action and gained confidence in his ability and felt able to do himself justice on the football field again.
Following their promotion from the Eerste Divisie at the end of the 2021–22 season he received a contract extension in June 2022, for an additional two years. He made his Eredivisie debut for Excelsior on 12 August 2022 against SC Cambuur at Cambuur Stadion in a 2–0 victory. On 9 September 2022, he scored his first professional league goal, helping Excelsior to a 2–1 win over FC Emmen.
In October 2023, reports in Indonesia suggested that Tjoe-A-On was invited to play internationally for the Indonesia national football team through naturalization. On 12 October 2023, Tjoe-A-On watched and talked directly with PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir and Indonesian President Joko Widodo when the Indonesian national team hosted Brunei Darussalam in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
On 7 March 2024, Tjoe-A-On received a call-up to the Indonesia national team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers match against Vietnam on 21 March and 26 March 2024. On 21 March 2024, he made his international debut for Indonesia in a 1–0 win against Vietnam.
In April 2024, Tjoe-A-On was named in the Indonesia U23 final squad for the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup held in Qatar. He was initially only allowed to play in the group stage and returned to the Netherlands afterward. However his club Heerenveen eventually let him return to Qatar and play in the quarter-finals.
𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥
Due to the X new rules and policy, I would like to declare that this account is just for roleplayer purpose only. I’m not the real Nathan Tjoe-A-On, I don’t have any connection to the real one. Thank you.

GMP Consultancy: Best Practices for Supplier Management in Qatar
An indispensable consultation of Good Manufacturing Practice consultancy in Qatar on the improvement of supplier management to industries dealing with high-risk products into the Gulf region of Qatar, such as food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. A good supplier management system offers assurance that the raw materials and other components meet the very highest quality standards, ensuring that the product is safe and compliant.
Supplier Selection and Appraisal: In that case, I would implement a robust selection process that evaluates available suppliers based on quality certifications, past performance, and compliance to GMP standards. Conduct site audits to verify the quality, ensuring all expectations are met.
Clear Requirements: Quality expectations and specifications from materials or services shall be clearly defined in the supplier contract so the supplier is aware of their obligations and the importance of meeting the GMP standards.
Continuous Monitoring and Auditing: The regular performance review and audit of suppliers will have continuing GMP compliance. GMP Consultancy in Qatar helps in proactive discovery of problems and is helpful to strike a culture of continuous improvement.
Training and Communication: Supplier training on GMP principles and quality control shall be communicated and conducted to encourage an open line of communication for feedback or concerns.
Documentation and Record Keeping: These supplier evaluation/audit reports, along with supplier performance metrics, should be maintained in elaborate details. This is traceable and can be considered for regulations.
Through the practices, the GMP consultancy can make the best out of its supplier management resulting in goods offered in Qatar being of the highest quality and safety.

The Importance of Language Translation Services in Qatar
In an increasingly globalized world, language barriers are often a significant challenge for businesses and individuals looking to communicate across different regions and cultures. In Qatar, a country known for its diverse population and thriving economy, language translation services play a pivotal role in bridging these communication gaps. Whether for legal, commercial, or personal purposes, having access to professional translation services ensures clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive communication across multiple languages.
This blog explores the importance of language translation services in Qatar, the types of translations commonly sought after, and how these services can benefit businesses and individuals in the country.
Why Translation Services are Crucial in Qatar
Qatar is home to a multicultural population, with expatriates making up a significant percentage of its residents. The business landscape is equally diverse, with companies and individuals from different parts of the world engaging in various sectors like construction, finance, education, and healthcare. In this environment, effective communication is key to smooth transactions, compliance with local laws, and the success of any business or personal endeavor.
Language translation services in Qatar help overcome the language barriers that may arise in daily interactions, business dealings, or legal matters. Accurate translation is essential to ensure that documents, contracts, or communications are fully understood and comply with local legal standards.
Types of Language Translation Services in Qatar
There are various types of translation services available in Qatar, catering to different needs. Some of the most commonly requested services include:
1. Legal Translation
Legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and court-related paperwork, must be translated accurately to avoid any misunderstandings or legal issues. Legal translation in Qatar requires a deep understanding of both the source and target languages, as well as the legal terminologies used in both regions. Errors in legal translations can lead to disputes or delays, making it essential to hire certified legal translators for the job.
2. Commercial Translation
For businesses operating in Qatar, commercial translation services are essential for translating marketing materials, product descriptions, business proposals, and more. Clear and culturally adapted translations help businesses communicate effectively with their clients, partners, and stakeholders, regardless of their native language. This ensures that businesses maintain a professional image and avoid costly miscommunications.
3. Technical Translation
In industries such as engineering, construction, and IT, technical translation services are often required. These services involve the translation of manuals, technical guides, product specifications, and other highly specialized documents. Accurate translation of technical content is vital to ensure the correct application of products and services, particularly when dealing with complex systems and machinery.
4. Medical Translation
With Qatar’s advanced healthcare system, medical translation services are in high demand. This includes the translation of medical reports, patient records, prescriptions, and research papers. It is critical that medical translations are accurate to avoid any risks to patient care or legal liability.
5. Personal Document Translation
Individuals often require translation services for personal documents such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, diplomas, and other official documents needed for visa applications, immigration processes, or employment. Ensuring that these documents are translated precisely can be essential for navigating administrative processes in Qatar.
Benefits of Language Translation Services in Qatar
1. Effective Communication
Whether you are conducting business negotiations or submitting documents for official purposes, effective communication is essential. Professional translation services ensure that your message is conveyed accurately and appropriately in the target language.
2. Legal Compliance
Qatar has stringent legal requirements for document translations, especially when dealing with official documents. Professional translation services ensure that your documents meet the necessary standards for legal compliance, saving you from any potential issues down the line.
3.Cultural Sensitivity
Language is closely tied to culture, and a successful translation must take cultural nuances into account. Professional translators in Qatar are trained to provide culturally sensitive translations that preserve the intended meaning of the text while adapting it to the local context.
4. Business Expansion
For businesses looking to expand their operations in Qatar, language translation services are key to establishing a presence in the local market. By translating your marketing materials, websites, and product information into multiple languages, you can reach a broader audience and increase your chances of success.
Language translation services are vital in Qatar’s multicultural and multilingual environment, facilitating clear communication for both businesses and individuals. Whether you need legal, commercial, technical, or personal document translations, having a reliable and professional service provider is crucial.

Spanish motorcycle magazine Motociclismo.es has an article about possible personnel changes in MotoGP for 2007. The main rumor concerns Andrea Dovizioso, who is said to want to move up the MotoGP class, unless Honda vastly improve their 250 for next season. Dovizioso's name is being linked with the LCR Honda currently being ridden by the young Australian Casey Stoner. LCR team boss Lucio Cecchinello is said not to be happy with Stoner's performance in the championship, but this could also be related to persistent rumors of Stoner moving to either Ducati or Yamaha.
22/8/2006
As we rapidly approach the high water mark of speculation about 2007, more rumors emerged about Casey Stoner. The Italian website Motograndprix.it is reporting that the young Aussie may be out of MotoGP next year. After being turned down by Yamaha, Stoner reportedly approached his current team boss Lucio Cecchinello with a demand for $2.5 million to resign with LCR for 2007, a demand which Cecchinello was unable, or unwilling, to meet. Similar approaches to Ducati have so far met with little reward, as the factory from Bologna are currently engaged in negotiations with Loris Capirossi for 2007, who is seeking a $4 million deal, similar to Sete Gibernau's contract, leaving Ducati with room for maneuver with Stoner. This leaves Stoner without a ride for 2007 so far, and, by overplaying his hand so strongly in negotiatons, with little chance of a ride, unless he were to move to Kawasaki to replace Shinya Nakano, who is rumored to be moving to Konica Minolta Honda for next season. Stoner would have to moderate his wage demands a good deal to make that happen, though. Stoner has shown huge promise during the early part of the season, taking a shock pole at the Qatar GP, followed by a 2nd place in Turkey. Since then, however, he has developed a fatal attraction to the gravel traps, falling in three races after making rider mistakes when being pushed hard (especially by his arch-rival Dani Pedrosa), and not starting in Germany after coming off during practice. In addition, Stoner has been very outspoken in his views on just about everything, including openly criticizing the bike and the team when he felt things weren't working properly. No one doubts Stoner's talent, but hiring the young Aussie is a high-risk strategy, and one which teams are seemingly loathe to take.
24/8/2006
Well, where just a few days ago, it seemed certain that Marco Melandri would be going to the factory Ducati team, now it looks increasingly like last year's title runner up will be staying with Gresini on a Honda next year. Both MotoGrandPrix.it and Crash.net are reporting that Fausto Gresini has matched Ducati's reported offer of € 3 million for next season, an offer which would also include strong factory support from Honda, and, surprisingly, Bridgestone tires. The mystery for all this is where the money is supposed to be coming from, as Altadis, the brand behind Fortuna, are leaving MotoGP, taking their large sponsorship budget with them. If the reports are true, it would put a halt to an expected round of rider shuffles, with Sete Gibernau, the man Melandri was expected to replace at Ducati, staying put and not going to Kawasaki, where he was set to take Shinya Nakano's place. This would then also leave Nakano the option at staying at Kawasaki, and leave the question of who Melandri's team mate will be open. Alex de Angelis is one name being bandied about, as is Carlos Checa, although Checa, who has been very impressive this year on the inferior Dunlop tires, has also been linked with Pramac d'Antin Ducati, who are expected to get Bridgestones for next year.
6/10/2006
Well, contrary to what I wrote in a previous post, Casey Stoner is almost certain to stay in MotoGP after all. He will be losing his ride with LCR Honda at the end of this season, but he has announced to the press that he will be riding a Ducati in 2007. No details of the contract were released, but with Loris Capirossi taking a nice pay rise, it is unlikely that Stoner will be getting the $3 million he was reportedly demanding. However, the upside for Stoner is that he will be on a factory machine, and not have to wait in line for parts from HRC with the other satellite Honda riders. Stoner's seat at LCR will be taken by Carlos Checa, who has been revitalized this season, after a run of decent, but not brilliant seasons at Yamaha and Ducati. Checa has been the only Dunlop rider to be anywhere near the action this season, and his performance has paid off.
17/10/2006
After several months of speculation, and an unofficial announcement at Estoril, Ducati Corse has finally officially announced that Casey Stoner has signed to ride for them in 2007. Few details of his contract were made public, other than Stoner will be riding the GP7 Desmosedici next year, with an option to ride in 2008. Claudio Domenicali, Managing Director of Ducati Corse, is quoted as saying of Stoner: "With his enthusiasm and aggressive riding style, Casey is sure to give our fans some extraordinary emotions." So far this year, those emotions have been elation as Stoner runs at the front, followed by despair as he loses the front end and crashes out. What is certain is that Stoner should be very spectacular to watch on the Ducati, and his riding style should match Loris Capirossi's, who is the Ducati team's main rider. This move now leaves Sete Gibernau without a ride in 2007, although he is reputedly in talks with Kawasaki. The irony of Stoner's signing will not be lost on Sete, who will be unable to race at Valencia as a result of injuries he suffered after crashing out when Casey Stoner fell in front of him, leaving him with nowhere to go but over and out.
