Rest in Peace, Vixen Tail

I was recently informed that one of my favorite authors, a woman who has contributed much to many fandoms, has passed away.

At first, I hoped this was merely a mistake, but on checking with Vixen Tail's ao3 profile, I read the small announcement that stated this author passed away May 3rd, 2022.

Typically when an author stops posting, we all hope they are merely taking a break. Perhaps a life event? Maybe a lingering injury or a sudden change in free time. For all that we love, appreciate and respect everyone who contributes to fandoms through art, media, fics and all the ways we can imagine, sometimes we forget that we are not as immortal as our works.

I am devastated that I am almost a year late to offer my deepest condolences, my sympathies and, should you who are reading this have also been unaware, my apologies.

Honestly, a part of me is hoping I will get a very confused PM, asking why on Earth I would believe a dearly beloved author and artist is dead when she is simply busy with life...

We can only hope.

But in the meantime,

Rest in peace, Vixen Tail.

We mourn your silence.

You will be missed.

You will not be forgotten.

Japanese Imperial Family - Princess Yuriko, the Princess Mikasa, the oldest member of the Japanese imperial family and great-aunt of Emperor Naruhito, died of natural causes at a Tokyo hospital early Friday morning, the Imperial Household Agency said. She was 101 years old.

A member of Japan's former nobility, she married Prince Mikasa, the youngest brother of Emperor Hirohito, posthumously known as Emperor Showa, in 1941 at age 18, after graduating from the Gakushuin Women's Academy. Her husband died of heart failure in 2016 at age 100.

The couple had three sons and two daughters. Their sons -- Princes Tomohito, Katsura and Takamado -- died in 2012, 2014 and 2002, respectively. | November 15, 2024

Found out about Liam's passing a few hours ago and am absolutely devastated. No matter whether he jumped, fell, whether it was under the influence or not, his death is such a tragedy.

He deserved to heal, keep on living, watch his son grow up, have some hits and live a good life until he dies at like 90. This is not fair.

Even though there were so many hate comments and scandals surrounding him, he's always been an inspiration to me. His falsetto was truly unique and always my favourite parts in any song.

Yes, he wasn't the best man in these past few years and all this drama surrounding him is what makes it hit hardest. and it's even though there's so much bad things to say about the man he was recently, that I will admit that the little girl inside of me is crushed.

she would be screaming and crying (I did, indeed cry less than 20 minutes ago as I watched every mv) as he was as much as I haven't wanted to admit for a while, my favourite as a little girl.

he- along with every single member of the band was what I grew up on, and I love them with everything in me for making me the woman I am now. and it has broken my heart to have that part of me taken away.

He will forever be missed in my little heart and if anyone wants to reach out about their grief, feel free. I'd love to have a chat to anyone who wants to share the grievances.

1D will never be the same.
