Cupid is an odd exception to the Leisure Fairies since... he's not a true fairy! Cupid is a human-turned-Fairy, just like Timmy Turner! The best way to know who is a real Fairy or not? Check the eyes.

Although Cupid has the same level of magical prowess as the average Leisure Fairy, his growth was stunted given his previous human soul. Not that this matters since he's now the Representative of the Leisure Court, as well as the rep for the smaller Holidays Faction.

He hails from a darker era of Fairyworld's history, from before the 4 courts and the Fairy Wars. Cupid recalls a time when fairies would eat human children. Aside from a few from his court, no Living Being knows of Cupid's past.

listen I love ravenpaw as much as the next guy he gets nostalgia bias from me too but the way people list and remember him as one of the most prominent main characters of the first arc, a protagonist, firestar's lifelong bestie, a true staple of the series is so funny. who invited my man blud bro thinks he's on the team

#I get the original apprentice trio thing but it's literally just an Into The Wild deal (and a bit in book 6) let's be honest #'firestar's best friend/closest ally' stolen valour from sandstorm and cinderpelt #2 be clear this post is lighthearted. Went on Twitter looking for SAOA content (there's nothing, don't bother) and was surprised by how many people were posting about how much they dislike it compared to the original. That the abridged ruined the original's reputation, and it's unfunny and ruined the characters, that its fans are the worst, blah blah blah.

And I mean, not to be harsh, but to me, it kinda sounds like, "WWAAHHH, MOMMY, THE OTHER KIDS ARE BEIN' MEAN TO ME 'CAUSE MY SHOW SUCKS AND MY FACE IS STUPID."
