Play Monster Rancher Battle Card with others for free!
(Tabletop Simulator required, but the MRBC Mod is free)
So, I've finished adding everything required to play Tabletop Simulator MRBC with friends! Rule Book to play the game, instructions for playing MRBC, TTS quick tips etc. https://legendcup.com/monster-rancher-battle-card-ccg.php#documentation
Tumblr media
I've also written instructions for using the Deck Builder website to create and import your deck! Deck Builder is optional, but it sure helps make it a lot easier to get an initial deck built. You still have the option to build from scratch in TTS, or build in Deck Builder first, and save modifications (and even new game setups) by selecting everything https://legendcup.com/monster-rancher-battle-card-ccg.php#virtualizations
Tumblr media
So, if you're looking for players, jump in the Monster Rancher Discord and ask around and schedule a game with someone and have fun!

So here's a funny thing I discovered a while back: In the Terminator Collectible Card Game, one of the cards is called "Rubber Skin" (referencing a comment from the first film about early versions of the Terminators having rubber skin instead of synthetic flesh, making them easier to spot), and it looks like this:
Tumblr media
What I think is funny is that they decided to use a picture from the first film, specifically one of the puppet head from the scene where the Terminator removes his eye. To me, it feels like the person making the card is (presumably unintentionally) throwing shade at the special effects in the original film. "That puppet is unrealistic, it would be easy to spot as a rubber-skinned fake." Which I personally think is unfair, but it's still funny.

After Tarkir block ended, Magic the Gathering made the switch to a two-set block system. The first of these was a Return visit to Zendikar which was now under siege by the Eldrazi. This was followed by a Return visit to Innistrad, where the Eldrazi were called to by the planeswalker, Nahiri.
"Battle for Zendikar" and "Oath of the Gatewatch" were Magic's 68th and 69th expansion sets and their corresponding cards are Ulamog's Reclaimer and Essence Depleter, respectively.
"Shadows Over Innistrad" and "Eldritch Moon" were Magic's 70th and 71st expansion sets and their corresponding cards are Jace's Scrutiny and Nebelgast Herald, respectively.
What did you think of the Eldrazi storyline and these cards?

Post Malone just bought the most expensive Magic: The Gathering card of all time
Tumblr media Tumblr media
yeah, that's literally the One Ring - 1 of 1 - the only one printed (appropriate flavor-wise maybe, but wow artificial scarcity), from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth set
two. million. dollars. for one card
at least the guy can afford it, and the player who sold it is over the Moon:
"When I found the One Ring, the first person who came to mind was Post Malone. I have played MTG since I was a kid and obviously it would be amazing to keep this card. But for a guy like me, being able to sell it is life changing. I just really hoped it would go to someone who would appreciate it as much as I do. This is my dream come true, meeting Post Malone and him buying the One Ring card from me is literally a moment straight out of a fairytale. Post Malone and Magic: The Gathering, you have changed my life. Things like this don’t happen to people like me, I guess it’s magic."

Magic: The Gathering Returns to Listing MSRP with Foundations
Magic: The Gathering Returns to Listing MSRP with Foundations #MagicTheGathering #MtG
During MagicCon, Wizards of the Coast revealed that it will return to listing the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for most sealed Magic: The Gathering products with the release of Foundations. The return is due to feedback from retailers and fans and recreates an “anchor point” for pricing. With the proliferation of online retailers, without that “anchor point,” prices were often set…

what do you mean you never thermal printed all the cards in a region for Legends of Runeterra because you wanted physical paper to help you better build decks?
