Her hair, barely grown out since college, is completely disheveled and dirty. Her lips, despite her strong body,  is trembling. Her eyes, still glowing with kindness and love, meet his. “Yes,” his whisper cuts the silence into pieces. His hands are the first to reach out to her, hesitantly grabbing the wet fabric of her dress. His face burrows into her shoulder, the hardness of her muscles against his cheek making him feel ridiculously calm. His hair is touchingly soft and smells musty when the pale girlish cheek touches it. His lips, unfortunately, are trembling too.

At some point while Elizabeth Phantomhive, née Midford, stood watching her husband breathe his last, Sieglinde, shaking a little but warm and familiar, came to take her hand.

We have one more chapter to go, but it is an epilogue of sorts, so this is the conclusion to Lizzy's arc in this story. So it's the new year and I've decided to follow in a @oya-oya-okay example and make a WST X Black Butler AU!

So in the AU Ciel, Alois, Sieglinde, Doll, Lizzy, Finny, Snake, and Sebastian somehow get stuck in Twisted Wonderland. All this would take place around after the Blue Cult Arc has ended/when RCiel returned but all are struggling with memories including how they got there (Literally last Finny remembers is meeting Doll and searching for a escape with the F.O.L. Orphanage kids and Ciel was on a train while Sieglinde last remembered Ciel and Sebastian coming to her for help for Soma) while Alois only recalled his death as a bad dream and misses Hannah most since he recalls her comforting him while he bleeds out. Also in this AU they all technically have a Unique Magic or powers of sorts based on their abilities so when they appeared they were accepted as NRC students and placed in dorms but are aware they're like Yuu/MC in the case they're from another world while Sebastian helps out at Sam's Shop and subs sometimes while staying in Ramshackle for lack of bedding.

Alois, Sebastian, and Ciel's demon connections are made into some kind of UM ability or for Sebastian's case his contract making/soul eating abilities are blocked but he can do the other demon powers like fire or whatever. Ciel and Alois' demon contracts are now instead heighten in some weird UM curse or whatever (I'm tired yall from being sick, I promise I'm trying to make sense T^T) so Ciel's "UM" is based on his eye sight while Alois' "UM" is based on his voice/tongue.

As for Finny, he's confused to have magic based on his strength and speed while Snake is confused too based on his ability to speak to animals and also cause I decided when being transported here he ended up with a sharper bite so they assume he's a beastman. Doll's Bizarre Doll abilities are still the same mixed with her circus backstory but she's technically no longer a living corpse as before somehow. Like feeling as if she never died. But she has a UM deep down created in the mist of being transported here. But Lizzy and Sieglinde are confusing cases as I'm debating if they're magicless or have some kind of magic.. I DUNNO!

I've decided on their dorms based off their personalities and the morals of the dorm based on this post, so here are the dorms!

Ciel is in Octavinelle cause he's intelligence, cunning, and strategic mind would fit well with Octavinelle, the dorm associated with ambition and carefully laid plans. Also I think he'd get along with that dorm most.

Alois is in Ignihyde. Okay, I know technically Alois doesn’t directly fit Ignihyde’s technological or isolated nature, his desire for control and his obsession with getting people to notice him could translate into the dorm's theme of being misunderstood or outcast. Also I just personally love the idea of gamer!Alois and think he'd love it there

Lizzy will be in Heartslabyul cause-

Look I personally loved the Ciel In Wonderland OVAs and it lowkey influenced my idea of Lizzy's placement.

Also she has a bubbly and playful personality, combined with her occasional impulsiveness and emotional nature, makes her a possible fit for Heartslabyul which has a chaotic energy, and Elizabeth’s sometimes erratic behavior and her tendency to push the boundaries and her bad-ass side would fit well with Heartslabyul’s often unpredictable atmosphere.

Sieglinde I've decided to put in Diasmonia since apparently it's a rarity to be in it but also those in Diasmonia have natural talents which she does since she was born a super fucking genius! Also, I feel like she would feel at home in there most

Snake is in Scarabia because.... duh. Honestly, it'd be a perfect location since it's warm for the snakes and Kalim could Oasis cool water if needed

Finny's in Savannaclaw lowkey inspired by @oya-oya-okay too cause her points made sense but also due to the whole Savannaclaw is meant for strengths.

And finally Doll I've decided to put her in Pomfiore! Why? Well I did it mainly cause she needs some self love. Pomfiore seems to be perfect for those who want to make themselves better physically, emotionally, and mentally and with her character so far I believe she deserves some of that. Also while Doll is not necessarily "noble" in the traditional sense, her role as part of the Noah’s Ark Circus gives her a certain air of tragic beauty... Doll’s kind and nurturing nature, combined with the fact that she is manipulated and used by those around her, echoes the theme of Pomfiore, where there’s a focus on outward appearances and a hidden darkness or burden. Basically she's the swan for the group

Sketches are on the way besides the few I do have but not a lot yet!

(Both are messy-ish so sorry for how it looks, especially Doll's piece which I'll probably go back to do, she basically was given a spare of Vil's uniform)

I will come back and work on these profiles once I finish up the sketches but here are the character's info so far.

(I get some of the UM doesn't make sense, I'll try and make sense with it once I doodle more but basically Alois can only trigger his "UM" when he licks his thumb or wipe his blood on his thumb where the mark is and his eyes glow so I might animate that-)

I don't know much about shipping in this AU since I have my tastes and opinions on certain ships though I do find the idea of Ortho maybe crushing on Sieglinde pretty cute since they would bond a lot over mobility stuff and feeling stuck with their pasts.

But I do plan to have Lizzy being besties with Cater, Doll and Leona getting along well, Doll and Epel being besties cause they both can bond with being stuck in a dorm they don't agree with, Alois is for sure going to have a lil brother vibe with Idia and a older brother vibe with Ortho and being best friends with the rest of the Light Music Club, I feel like Sebastian should have a close friendship with Sam

There's this theory or rumor going around about how things would turn to chaos or a big battle would happen in black Butler when the twins birthday comes up in 5 days or so in the manga timeline. What r ur thoughts about it?

Hey Anon !

Lots of people actually talked about "what will happen on the upcoming December 14th". I think, timeline-wise, it's too soon for a big battle : a big chaotic battle will come, but we're still in the first stages of the chess match, me think.

Some fans think the story will end (unlikely imo), while I personally think that it's probably when the servants and Ciel will reunite post investigations...

...with Finny telling everyone about Snake's "death" so it will probably be another sad birthday for him, with no Aunt Frances and Lizzie to change his mind this year. :(

Though I have to say, a part of me hopes that, like in ch14, we will see Frances on this important date, because she'll have been told where to find her nephew and because she does care (by Diedrich ? Pitt ? by Sieglinde, Soma, Edward if they investigate in the meantime ?).

However if I'm being realistic, like the big chaotic battle, I think it's still a bit too soon to see Frances by our!Ciel's side.

To quote these posts [x][x], "Frances will probably take on a more active role in the plot when, to quote Seb in ch14, “[our!Ciel] will overconfidently believe that he cannot lose and that it will be necessary for him to carry himself with humility while striving for his goal”. Because by then, “an adult who will be firm with him is what he’ll need”. "

TL;DR Ciel learning about Snake's "death" on his fourteenth birthday seems likely to me. So I don't think it will be a joyous birthday at all, to say nothing about how his own investigation with Sebastian might end badly. T_T

Somehow though, I wait for Yana to prove me 100% wrong. We'll see. :3 Have a good weekend, Anon ! :)

N – Name three things you wish you saw more of in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice):

This is tricky! I tend to just be like “Augh I wish there was more of that” and then forget all about it. I guess I’ll try thinking of things in the fandom and not in the canon material? Hm – tricky.

Black Butler fandom – I want more aroace William, or at least ace William, representation. I don’t want him shipped with Grelle, I want them being BFFs. *Pointing with judgement* Let them crack open a bottle of wine and/or whiskey by the fire after work and talk about nice, idle things, like their sonboy Ronald (who’s pawing at the babygate like the sad goldendoodle he is because he wasn’t allowed in due to his alcoholism).

Black Butler canon/fandom – I want Snake to speak for himself. Like, either in fanfiction or — more preferably — canon, where he at last breaks and, against the opinions of his snakes, goes “Fuck you, Ciel!” and then full stop. No “says Emily” or “exclaims Oscar”. Nothing. It’s meaningful. Poignant. You can tell that Snake is really hurt about having his found family lie to him so easily, to be betrayed by his second family after losing his first. This is Snake, even if it’s just for a moment, talking for himself. Poor Snake :(

Black Butler fandom – I want more creepypastas / grimdarks / etc.. Plain and simple, it’s meant to be a dark, perhaps horrific at times, franchise and so where are the creepy one shots? The “The Woman In Black” parodies? The subtly dark pieces where Ciel is stuck in an endless game of fleshy marionette for Sebastian’s own amusement? Where?

Bonus:

Sk8 the Infinity fandom/canon – I want more Adam-facing-consequences fics (and hopefully canon content in the upcoming season two), and Tadashi and Miya interaction, because those two look related and hardly interact in canon. I’ve only ever come across one (platonic) fic of them on AO3. One.

P – Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas):

Oh, this is tricky! I don’t think I think of many AUs? At the very least they’re fleeting and / for one shot purposes as opposed to a full-fledged universe? (Alternatively there’s also an idea I had of making a book of rarepair scraplets vaguely set in the same universe for the reader to piece together, like a one shot where Soma, Lizzie and Sieglinde are paired together “trying to get back to ‘x’” and Soma has to carry Sieglinde because her spider legs are broken and Wolfram is nowhere to be found.)

So seeing as you told me about your Snake/Edward / Sieglinde/Lizzie Friendship is Tragic-esque AU I’ll go ahead and state my Fallout Equestria-type one (why did I need brony comparisons for that?) that was kind of eluded to in this post (which is also kind of inspired by this post and its reblogs).

So in the post it was inspired by, I discussed if “shinigami and grim reapers” were different, and that “shinigami” were like “the original grim reapers” (don’t think of them like those things from Death Dote, but rather like The Exterminators from Hazbin) and that the redemption that the reapers work towards is actually fake, just a rumour used to keep them in line and then used as the excuse when reapers go “missing” (aka. the “Higher Up”, so to call them, of the original shinigami and/or older reapers that are in-the-know) to make way for newer reapers when Ole McLimboville becomes overcrowded (which it will as time progresses from the canon’s 1889 into modern day, as per real life suicide stats).

With my theory preluded, the AU would start off with Will’s “promotion/redemption” (#2 from (x)) (as it is known outwardly by the other reapers), but as the numbers begin to spike, a purge starts by the Higher Up / shinigami and Grelle and Ronald make it out after Grelle’s seen Othello die protecting her (a point which will later be paralleled when Grelle then does so for Ron), and go looking for the Undertaker, in case he knows what’s going on (after all, he and Othello are the same age-ish and Othello told them to find him).

I’d also thought about a possible, background Grelltaker flirtation, but that point can be ignored for now. I think if this is the case then Undertaker dies in front of Grelle rather than Othello, who, in this case, she just knows died? Also an point where Ron and Grelle begrudgingly take r!Ciel along with them (if he’s still alive / existing … he can be written out easily, though, I just remember him being a part of my original rough idea), and then it’s later just Ron looking after him after he and Grelle are separated (I’m still unsure whether a fakeout death is in order, or too cheesy to be worked into the plot well enough).

Essentially, it’s just Ronald then — as per his and Grelle’s plan after talking with the Undertaker — looking for a means to summon a demon (whether this will be Sebastian or not is undecided, though is the most likely because… why would I make an OC for something that isn’t TSoGtR? Really, now.) as to try and get an equal footing in the fight against the original shinigami (and the reapers in allegiance with them as part of the Higher Up’s council… as guides to the to-be ‘redeemed’, or even some of the redeemed themselves).

Perhaps there’s also a twisted element from the Higher Up like “You’re finally getting what you came here for/what you wanted, and yet you still fight it?”, when — on the reapers’ side of things — it’s actually because they want to avenge their friends for dying in massacre, so dishonourably (in some cases), and that they know that if they lose / give up, this will only go on and on, until it eventually happens again.

It’s an AU I definitely haven’t thought of in a while 😅 so trying to remember the better half of it was a bit of a struggle, but I enjoyed doing it! It’s a fun idea that I hope to revisit (though most probably will not, as I suck at action scenes / sequences / drama, so it would most likely turn out slow, and corny when it picks up pace, with plenty of emotional moments and monologues but not enough action/fighting).

Been loving making my TWST X Black Butler AU and wanted to explore characters within events in Twisted Wonderland since I'm writing ways they would be in the main story though they're more focus within side stories since the Yuus are still around.

Hm, so I'm not sure I totally understand your question, but I think you shouldn't forget that our!Ciel doesn't depend on Seb for every little thing, far from it.

Sure, Seb is his butler and is supposed to obey and protect him, but our!Ciel is also human so, sometimes, when adrenaline gets rushing through his veins, he instantly acts to protect other people without thinking that Seb should have intervened or would have his back. He's done that with Lizzie, as you said, several times...

Additionally, please don't forget that our!Ciel doesn't trust Seb: this means that, rationally, he knows Seb has to abide by the contract they made and protect him, but that doesn't mean he expects Seb to behave that way for other people.

In other words,

Our!Ciel is kind, so he will put himself in harm's way especially if it's to protect the people he cares about (like Lizzie) and, to some extent, innocent people (like Joanne, or even rescuing Wolfram for Sieglinde's sake)

Our!Ciel only expects Seb to obey and protect him, because that's what the contract between them dictates

So ch14 was just about a boy who saw a bear attacking his cousin, someone he cares about, and rushing in to protect her because that's just who he is, just like Frances said she "must be getting old" simply because she panicked when she saw Liz in danger and had trouble aiming properly at the bear (implying that she was more ruthless when she was younger and not a mom). Seb just happened to kill the bear because otherwise our!Ciel would have been hurt and the contract won't allow it.

Clarification: Lizzy and Ciel are cousins, but in that time it was normal for the wealthy to marry relatives because classism and upholding the status quo. Still icky but normalized! (Although for the Phantomhive family, marrying within the family probably minimizes the risk of outsiders learning about the watchdog gig)

I mean,,, I do like Lizzy with (o!)Ciel- Bc she clearly loves him SO MUCH and (o!)Ciel definitely cares for her in return. Tho,,, it’s definitely not that simple; the thing of “our Ciel” vs “Real Ciel”- which is likely EXTREMELY conflicting to poor Lizzy. The “Ciel” she spent all those years with after his parents death, who is a little shorter than her(so she declined fashionable high-heels to match his height more) and has weak health(so she literally took up a sword in order to protect him) isn’t the same one as the one she, since a young age, has been parent-arranged-engaged to... but in fact, his younger twin brother fkakck :,D

Tbh, I did use to ship CieLizzy before the twin theory was confirmed a canon-fact...and also until someone told me “it’s incest, it’s disgusting” ...I rlyyyyyy don’t wanna be hated/“called out” for “loving incest”,,<- which, fyi,I don’t.
