One thing I've been wondering, is there any angle of degredation to the custodes?
What I mean is pretty much every faction in 40K is reduced/fallen from grace to some degree (SMs dwindling, inquisition used to be malcadors secret service, knights spread out and going crazy etc) but the custodes seem to be the exception
Now granted I'm generalising here since there's factions like the guard who suck but always kinda have, but custodes it hits me cus of the whole perfection and being the emperor's special boys/girls/other etc angle
I know in old lore their thing was just laying about the imperial palace but now they've been retconned to actually going out and doing things, have they degraded at all or are they still as perfect as they were pre-Heresy?
As great as genetically engineered demigods for a space fascist can be anyway
They weren't retconned into going out and doing things; they are now going out and doing things, because the Imperial Palace nearly falling during the Cicatrix Maledictum event booted them up the ass.
The ultimate flaw (and weakness) of the Custodes is that they're individuals serving the Emperor. Not the Imperium, the Emperor. Everything they do is articulated around serving his vision and protecting him as individuals. Obviously, there are plenty of strengths (and good narrative aspects) to being individually-minded and built around collaborative interaction, but it also utterly fucked them when the Emperor fell. In the wake of his dead, these physically perfected demigods spent 10,000 years sitting and moping. They maintained Terra (kind of) but largely stopped paying close attention to literally anything else, instead ruminating on their failure and engaging in "default" behaviour. Frankly, many of them still don't give a shit about humanity or the Imperium and think it's all just fucked until the Emperor shows up again.
Their "degradation", as you say, is that they're no longer adequately informed about the state of the Imperium, and the specifics of the Imperium, and how to optimally apply themselves, because the Emperor's absence made them all Bigly Sad.
You might think "that doesn't seem like a very impactful flaw" and you'd be right! Let me tell you a secret, though; none of them are. Not a single faction's. Flaws are only allowed to be as meaningful as the writing allows without interfering with the "everything can fight everything else" angle that funnels directly into the tabletop game.
Space Marines are dwindling, except they're not. Imperial Knights are few and far between, except they're not. The Militarum are strapped for resources, except they're not.
Always refer back to the Warhammer Fantasy rule when it comes to understanding logistics in 40k; There are as many elves as the plot demands.

Warhammer 40k universe but the entirety of canon media about it is pro-Imperium of Man propaganda, even the stuff that makes them look bad, and while there are threats like some nasty Tyrannids, plagues, Orks, weird "demonic" looking aliens, intergalactic storm clouds (Cicatrix Maledictum), etc; They're all vastly blown out of proportion. The Tyrannids are just a nuisance on the same level as wolves or tigers. The Orks are much closer to just buff humanoids than any sort of reality-warping militant threat. Like 70% of space marines are in reality Ultramarines who are highly brainwashed from an early age and don't have any extra organs or whatever they're just not borderline malnourished like most humans and given augmentations and big mechsuit armor that makes them much taller than guardsmen, almost like platform shoes. The other 30% of space marines are stationed on various spread-out worlds and led to believe they're part of a much bigger Chapter Legion than they actually are. Some chapters shown in WH40k media don't even exist, outside of people who know the truth and are actors. The Tau Empire is pretty much exactly the same, though.

(There are two types of Rena, the peaceful solution and the non-peaceful one)
I was supposed to continue with Rena's character sheet, but I had the brilliant idea of what Rena looked like in 40k, before Roboute's resurrection.
With her Psychic powers awakened by the Cicatrix Maledictum, and yes, she have a guardian spear, a bit of internal lore that I don't know if I should tell since I'm thinking of creating a Fanfic with chronology instead of small stories without order
I need to stop sketching and never finishing them (´;ω;`)

What's your interpretation of Chaos?
If you had your way how would Chaos, Chaos corruption, and their relationship to the warp work? How would psykers, faith, and Chaos corruption change? How would their role in the grand narrative of 40k change? How might this change or recontextualize things like the Horus Heresy, the fall of the Eldar, the Sabbat wars, and the fall of Cadia/Cicatrix Maledictum?
okay.
chaos should work as pagan spiritualism. we have spirits(daemons), that are the embodiment of a concept or an event, and they act according to their nature. they don't need your goddamn soul, bc they have no free will or desires, they are unchangeable. but. if the soul is close to the aforementioned concept, it will be pulled in by the "gravity" and become a part of it. so the daemons will absolutely influence mortals to gain that astral mass and be more stable.
astral presence warps the body and mind. it generally warps it in the directions your "soul spikes" are pointing - new body will be better at things you like or do constantly. once your mind can't handle the change any more, your "soul spikes" change directions aimlessly - you become a chaos spawn. if you know what you want and your resolve is strong - it won't happen.
every use of warp powers is a fair exchange - although you don't always know what is taken from you. always keep that in mind and track all your losses, psyker. deals with daemons work the same - they are pure astral matter, not a creature, even if they look like one. remember that, summoner.
god-emperor is nothing but a big warp presence as well - and it works just the same with him, except you don't get any cool mutations, and live a boring life full of shame and regrets. i mean, if your soul wants it, then alright, but eh... i judge you. find something you personally are aligned with, not forced into.
chaos is ambivalent. it just so happens that death causes a huge emotional output. not all deaths are equal though. one of the millions slaughtered by a chaos space marine means nothing besides the fact of death - unlike someone's first murder done by a glass chard in self-defence. your rivals have to be the same size of you, or bigger - or there is no astral output.
i am not well-versed in 40k history, so you gotta figure things out yourself based on the provided concepts.
thank you for a good question!

So, I'm laying in bed, waiting for the painkillers to kick in, with an ice pack strapped to my knee, and I'm letting my mind wander. And I'm thinking about Warhammer 40k, because of course I am, this is what I do when I'm bored and in pain.
While laying here, I got to thinking: when were the first "official" conflicts between humanity and the all the other Xenos factions? So I'm just delirious enough to be like "let's figure this shit out."
And I'm already needing to start off with a mulligan, because the Orks, the Eldar, and the daemons of Chaos have always been ubiquitous in the Warhammer galaxy ever since humanity first walked upright, so trying to pin down "first contact conflict" is a mugs game. It would all be pre-Dark Age of Technology. Who the fuck knows for sure.
So who else is there: in terms of "major" Xenos factions (that is: armies with a codex), we got the Tyranids, the Tau, the Necrons, and the Leagues of Votann. Which is less than I hoped, but about what I expected for James "SPESS MEHREEN" Workshep.
So: the Tyranids. The First Tyrannic War was in 745.M41. However: if we really want to be specific and pedantic (and I do), then the first time the Imperium ran into the Tyranids was "sometime" around 500.M41 when genestealers were first encountered on the moons of Ymgarl. Then again, I'm not actually sure we should count that, considering that the Imperium wouldn't even make that connection themselves until much later.
Next: the Tau. Technically first "contact" was in 789.M35, when an AdMech explorator ship, Land's Vision, found the planet that would eventually be named Tau, and recorded a primitive species that had mastered simple tools and fire. But because that planet became inaccessible due to a warp storm, and the records got lost in the chaos of the Age of Apostasy, we (again) probably shouldn't count that. First real conflict was the Damocles Crusade, between 742.M41 and 745.M41... and it only ended because the Tyranids showed up.
Moving on: the Necrons. Technically, they've been "around" even longer than the Eldar. But they've mostly all been fucking asleep in their tomb worlds, except for a select few who woke up early (looking at you Trazyn). So, really, if we're ignoring shit like Szarekh the Silent King returning from his self imposed exile in response to the Tyranids showing up (are we noticing a pattern here?), first "official" conflict with the Imperium was the Sanctuary 101 massacre in 897.M41.
And finally: the Leagues of Votann. And, again: they've been "around" for who knows how long. It's heavily implied that their generation ships left Earth for the galactic core before even the Dark Age of Technology. But they mostly kept to themselves and didn't venture outside the holds in the galactic core until Cadia exploded and the Cicatrix Maledictum cut the galaxy in half, forcing them to leave. Finally, an "alien" faction being introduced to the setting that has nothing to do with the fucking Tyranids.
And, y'know... looking at all that? That really does kinda put in perspective why everything seems to have gone to shit in 40k, doesn't it?
Between the end of the Horus Heresy in 014.M31 and the start of the Damocles Crusade in 742.M41, the only things the Imperium of Man had to really worry about were Orks, Eldar, daemons, and renegades/traitors. Like, none of that is great (and a lot of it is self inflicted), but that kind of setup seems manageable. The Eldar never show up in huge numbers, and daemons require incredibly specific circumstances to even manifest outside The Warp. Hell, even the Orks for most of that time are basically just a nuisance, since a warboss on the scale of Urlakk Urg wouldn't be seen till Ghazgkull. Really, the most dangerous thing the Imperium had to worry about during that stretch of time was regular humans rebelling (rightfully so) in the face of the Imperium being a nightmarishly oppressive theocratic fascist state.
That's 10,000 years or so that you could almost call relatively stable, where the vast majority of issues were problems that it inflicted on itself. Business as usual.
AND THEN
In the span of just over 250 years, there's several wars with the Tau, the Tyranids show up over and over again, the Necrons start waking up, and... then the Leagues of Votann are also here now lol
Something, something, decades where nothing happens, and weeks where decades happen, etc.

Daemonbreaker
This week's read was Daemonbreaker, by Jude Reid.
Tumblr media
It's a short sisters or battle novel, 223 pages, and it was pretty average.
It felt like an idea for a short story (or two) that was overstretched to fill 200 pages so it can be called a proper novel.
The first half of the book follows sacresant Aveline searching for a Chaos sorcerer on a cemetery world, a world with nothing but necropolises (necropoli?) everywhere and almost constant sand storms. The second half takes places shortly after, after the fall of Cadia and the formation of the Cicatrix Maledictum. The sisters are stranded in the world, without a clear mission and having to deal with what can possibly be a daemonic invasion.
The protagonist is the titular Aveline, an abrasive, self centered glory seeking sister of battle. She's quite unlikable, but that is by design, which sets her apart from most of the other sisters protagonists. They're usually your standard, humble sister that deals with a crisis of faith or has to rise to the ocassion. Not Aveline. She's capable from the get go, knows what she wants to do and how to do it. She's just an asshole and everyone has to put up with it.
The deuteragonist is more interesting. Gwynnet Helyer is a novitiate dying from a blood illness who dreams of joining the ranks of the sisters of battle and dying along her sisters at arms. But her illness is not her only problem, her attitude is what stops her from becoming a full fledged sister. She is impulsive and unable to keep a thought to herself.
I won't say much about the book, because my English is terrible and I don't like writing this much in Tumblr. All I can say is even though I didn't particularly love the book, I'd like to read more about Aveline and Gwynnet (Please, let that poor girl survive. I won't spoil the book, but she has such a sad, sad ending. Technically alive though. Technically.).
Would I recommend the book? Actually, yeah. While it's not something special, it's different and short enough that it doesn't overstay its welcome. If you are looking for a SoB book, this is an ok one to get.
Also, I'm going to end this post by saying I love the Sister Aveline model and I WISH I had bought one when it was available months ago.

Window Conversation
Author’s Note: This is the next in Cedric’s adventures in Ancient Terra. First. Previous.
Tagged: @egrets-not-regrets @the-pure-angel @kit-williams
Warnings: none? Ask me to tag, if something makes you uncomfortable
Summary: Cedric is grounded from exploring the human city he’s in, so he is content to look out a window and people watch. He’s approached by a Salamander Scout Captain and they chat.
Cedric stared longingly out of the window of the base that he'd been confined to for the past week and a half, as part of his punishment for dealing with the heretics... Allied Heretics, rudely. The fact that there were allied heretics was... It was wrong. It was against much of what he had been taught.  It had been the forces of chaos that had killed untold trillions of innocents and corrupting ten times as many during the Horus Heresy, and the many Black Crusades that had followed. Chaos had created the Cicatrix Maledictum that split the galaxy in half, corrupted half of the Holy Primarchs and killing all but one of the Loyal Primarchs. Those Chaos-tainted Primarchs were some of the most dangerous threats still existing against the Imperium.
He had been reminded by one of the Chaplains he was working under to Atone for his rudeness of how few Marines were on Ancient Terra, of the few resources that any of them had, and the fractious nature of the human nation-states who ruled Ancient Terra. He'd been shown proof of all of this, and that even the most chaos-corrupted Marines who were allied with the Loyalists on Ancient Tera had a better grip of their unholy instincts and bastardized natures... Particularly after they had been Bonded with a human. No one would give him a good explanation as to what a Bond was, only that he would Know when or if he would find his human to bond with.. That these bonds domesticated the twisted parodies that the chaos marines had become.
Cedric couldn't muster up the Faith to believe that all of that was possible. That all of the groxshit that had been so earnestly fed to him by several Loyal older brothers wasn't some insidious Chaotic plot to get them to lower their guard in order to fuck them over and slaughter them all while taking over Ancient Terra... To ensure that the Imperium of Man never rose, or if it did, The Imperium would be a bastion of Chaos and misery, rather than of Order and the Emperor's Light. He didn't want to believe that the loyalists had been fooled so completely...
But to try to begin to believe all of this - that the chaos astartes who had allied with the loyalists weren't plotting to stab them all in the back the moment that they felt that they had gotten everything that they wanted out of this arrangement made his head and his hearts hurt.  The very thought that loyalist and chaos astartes could peacefully coexist with one another... It was almost enough to drive Cedric to madness.
Or to incredible, bloody violence.
Especially against those smug, prancing, gaudy purple Slaaneshi bastards. Cedric could see several of them dancing around the humans who were walking amongst them, fearless. Unaware that they were being exposed to beings whose very presence was corrosive and toxic and -
"Cedric, are you glaring at random people out the window and growling again?" Ash'val asked, the Salamander looking at him in a very judgmental manner when Cedric managed to drag his eyes away from the Slaaneshi Bastards.
Rude. Not that the young Apothecary would speak up against the well-loved and deeply respected Scout captain. He blinked at the other and took a breath, realizing that he had been making a low, rumbling sound in his chest and stopped the sound from continuing before he managed out "I... Uhm... I didn't mean to growl? I... I just..." Fuck, where did his words go? He had a perfectly reasonable explanation for his vigilant watchfulness moments ago... Cedric found himself unable to look the older space marine in the eye, bowing his head a little to avoid the other's gaze.
"You seem to have a particular problem with Slaaneshi Marines." Ash'val noted. The scout captain reached out slowly and placed a reassuring hand on one of Cedric's shoulders "You've gone through a lot of changes in a very short period of time and been given a lot of information that would... Be seen as impossible at best, or heretical nonsense worthy of execution after a visit from the Inquisition at worst. But shoving your nose to a window and growling at random marines wandering by isn't going to help you adjust to all of these changes. And I imagine that you're starting to get pretty restless being stuck inside all day with little to do, other than training and chores."
"I... I understand why I've been confined to base, sir." Cedric answered, shuffling his feet a little. The stern reprimand that he'd gotten from his rude behavior towards both chaos marines and how his hostility could put the tentative alliance between the loyalists and the chaos warbands at risk still rung in his ears a week and a half later.... And one of the last things he wanted to do while planetside on a beautiful and peaceful day like this was stay inside and do fuck-all when there was a forest an easy three-hour jog from here where Cedric was pretty sure he could go hunting and foraging for fresh food, rather than the nutrient pastes that while nutritious, weren't nearly as satisfying as a meal made with fresh ingredients. But until he could prove that he could handle interacting with Filthy Chaotic Traitors without resorting to unprovoked violence within five minutes... Not just that, but he could not show any outward sings of hostility when interacting with Filthy Chaotic Traitors, including a change in scent. "... I am still fairly certain that I was being... Cordial. At least to the World Eater. I didn't threaten him or his human once, nor did I try to harm either of them - not that I would have struck out at the child unless forced to... I do admit that I did restrain the Slaaneshi sc-... Marine, but that was for the health and safety of everyone in the building. The poison he was dripping from his hands is incredibly dangerous and corruptive at a soul-deep level."
Ash'val hummed a little before lifting the hand on Cedric's shoulder to ruffle his hair "This is true, however you should have explained to Elam why you were taping jars to his hands... What you did was tackle him to the ground and tape jars to his hands while refusing to explain until one of the other Apothecaries asked you why you'd done it. And you kept Elam in a headlock until directly ordered to let him go by our head apothecary. Emperor's Children - and Elam in particular - tend to be cooperative with Apothecaries and he was being on his best behavior."
"The last time before I met this... Elam, where Slaaneshi worshippers were wielding that particularly potent poison, I lost a squad brother, and my chapter lost dozens of Battle Brother to that poison. And we were fighting against baseline human Slaaneshi worshippers. I shudder to think how much damage an Astartes Slaaneshi worshipper with a possibly endless supply of The Poison of Vainglory could do. He was a clear and present threat and even then, I used a minimal amount of force in containment of such a threat." Cedric huffed, scowling at the floor, crossing his arms over his chest defensively. He knew that if he... Capitulated to... Apologizing to the Slaaneshi Marine for the way he had handled him, his time grounded in the base would be halved - or at least, that is what he had been promised.
But the very thought of doing so, of betraying his brothers' memories like that... Comiting such a sin against the God Emperor and the Imperium was more than what the Primaris Black Templar could bear. He'd been told that things her on ancient Terra were very different... But the very thought of apologizing was enough to make him physically ill. So he was going to patiently and penitently wait out the time that he had been sentenced to in the base without complained. He trained when allowed, helped keep things tidy (It was part of his punishment, actually. To aid in the maintenance of the base and the cleanliness... To cook in the kitchens, as well as other similar tasks. He wasn't sure why they were part of his punishment, but he certainly wasn't going to complain. He was surprised that he hadn't been beaten or whipped, for the amount of lecturing he'd gotten for his misconduct against allied chaos Space marines. It felt strange, and like an oversight, but Cedric wasn't going to complain about it, either).
"How would you feel if someone tackled and pined you to the floor because of the very health symptom you were seeking treatment for?" The Salamander Scout Captain prodded.
Cedric tilted his head a little in confusion. He was baffled by this. The young apothecary had heard that Firstborn Salamanders were soft-touches, but this was one of the questions that had One Correct Answer, and to misspeak was a trap. He answered earnestly "I would submit to anything that was being done to me without struggle or complaint, sir, as whoever did that has good reasoning to do as what they are doing, and to struggle would mean that I am fighting treatment, sir." Which means long hours of repentance at best, after the treatment was concluded at best... At worst fighting treatment - especially when one was clearly tainted by Chaos meant that he would be culled and sent to the Emperor's side before the Chaos could corrupt his soul further. The Mechanicum - and his older Black Templar brothers had both made that very clear during his training with them. "Provided, of course, the person doing the tackling and treatment is a loyalist, of course. Otherwise I would fight to free myself."
"Even if you were worried that this other loyalist may be tryign to hurt or kill you?" Ash'val asked, a complicated series of emotions flashing across the older marine's face before settling on concern for reasons Cedric couldn't begin to guess.
"If I have committed a sin, or breach of conduct, or was exposed to something that was corrupting me, or could potentially corrupt me, yes. I would still submit to treatment, if I was in full command of my senses. The Slaaneshi poisons alter one's mind, as well as body, as well as certain Nurglite diseases and Tzeenchian curses. And of course, The Infectious Rages of Khorne." Cedric responded, knowing the Correct Response to this question as well. Not that he didn't mean what he was saying as well. "Even if I was unaware of what crime or sin I committed, or if I did not know what I had recently encountered was so corrupting."
"I... I see. A large part of your training involved adherence to orders, I am guessing? apart from your combat and medical training." The scout captain asked. The older marine's face was free of emotion, but his voice was strangely shaky.
"Yes sir. Obeying orders is important, no matter one's personal feelings on the orders given to them." Cedric answered earnestly. Orders were to be obeyed, though were also subject to change. Especially on the battlefield where preliminary orders - like plans - went to die as soon as contact with the enemy was made.
:"Oh. Okay. I've got another question for you: are you a Primaris Marine?" The Salamander Scout captain asked, looking oddly intense as he asked it. "You're one of a handful of known Primaris Marines in this era, if you are. And by whom were you trained?"
"As with all Primaris Marines so far in my tie period, I was strictly trained by the Adeptus Mechanicus. They told me that I trained on Mars, specifically in their Astartes gene-labs." Cedric answered honestly. Disobedience had been harshly punished by both the Mechanicus and his Black Templar older brothers, though in different ways. The punishments here were much lighter and easier to handle. Not that Cedric intended on misbehaving to the point of testing their mercy He wasn't trying to cause problems... Though that never mattered to the Mechanicus or the Black Templars... And the Astartes here had given him more leeway than he'd ever been given. It was making Cedric nervous as to what might happen if he found the end of these marines' patience for misconduct.
"Ah. The... The mechanicus operates in a very specific way, and though what they do works for them... As for we Astartes... We are supposed to be trained in a different matter. Not that you're wrong for behaving for how you've been taught, given that I'm guessing that no one's really gone over our expectations for marines staying with us." Ash'val mused, looking Cedric over assessingly. "Follow me to my office. We're going to talk about what expectations you've been working under, and I'll explain in detail the rules of the base and for allied astartes, that way you're not tripped up by anything."
"Yes sir." Cedric responded, giving the Salamander a salute, obediently following after him.

Um
I've been in a 40k brainrot for more than a month now that has made me pause another stuff I'm making on the sides
And I've written shockingly for me at least a substantial amount of lore and stuff surrounding two main fanfic stories set in 40k
So here's a PDF and an Imperial Guard regiment I'm home brewing.
Bit of lore:
They're descendants of people from Chogoris who accompanied a homebrew White Scar Successor into the Ghoul Stars. Where they found a water world, dotted by small islands throughout. And settled.
They're nomadic but the seafaring nomads type. Loosely based on Southeast Asian themes. Excellent sailors, navigators and explorers.
For several thousand years they've grown to call it home, and they have been hand in hand with the White Scars successor(still don't have a chapter name) in guarding this part of space and have been the main recruiting pool for initiates into the chapter.
They are glad to serve alongside the sons of Jaghatai and serve well they have.
They specialize in lightning shock assaults and boarding actions, they're great sailors, and pilots as from a branch of Chogorian Culture they still value their predecessors' want for speed, and their value for art.
They have a very rich seafaring culture which I will try to share parts of soon.
And ever since the Cicatrix Maledictum tore open reality and the galaxy in half, being on the other side of Imperium Sanctus, they are trying their best to survive in Imperium Nihilus, scrounging up any and all they can And trying to remain as stable as the can.
They have a similar situation with the Emperor's Spears. The torchbearer fleets of the Indomitus Crusade have found them yet we're not able to help much but bring Primaris technology.
Currently they're called the Tumagatnon.
However there are far more dangerous and insidious, and ancient things than daemons and old forgotten tombs, lurking in this dark patch of space. None yet know what lies. But it is waking up
(ps it's not Necrons, the flayers have nohold in this system(maybe) but likely something more weird, it's the Ghoul Stars afterall)
(ᜆᜓᜋᜄᜆ᜔ᜈᜓᜈ᜔)
(also like southeast Asian inspired Adeptus Mechanicus I'm really excited tbh praise the Omnissiah)
Also gonna put more details in my Ko-Fi so that's it's more like.. in one place and not difficult to find

”I am not entirely sure how to word this, nor do I know for certain if this will get to you by imperial administration. But I will pour out my heart in this letter to you as best as I can, my Lord.”
“My world has been desolated by the ravages of xenos. I, along with many others, have fled to whatever star system or planet that would take us. I have heard rumors on my journey that you have indeed returned to the Imperium by the grace of our most holy emperor. I suspect these rumors to be years, perhaps centuries late as it made its way to the outer fringes of the segmentum.”
“Now, the galaxy has been sundered in two, and I fear for the trillions of souls like me that rest on the other side of the cicatrix maledictum. I know not what you do, nor your efforts to hold the Imperium of man the best you can. But I wish you luck in your endeavors.”
“I am ashamed to ask this, but I will anyways. Will our wounded Imperium endure, will it survive this new, Dark Millennium as our enemies seek to finish off what is left of it? My teacher had always cautioned me to not let doubt seep into my mind, but I find it does anyways. I write to you this question, for my heart nor my spirit can endure my present troubles for much longer.”
Your Faithful, ever troubled servant.
Guilliman stands from his desk, walking over to the view port and rests his head against the cold glasplex, closing his eyes as he sighs, his breath momentarily fogging the view port.
"I wonder this every day, I wonder this every throne damn day...."

What/where are Gork and Mork in 40k? Do they live in the warp? Do they have a section of it aside from the realm of chaos? Did they get stronger when the galaxy broke?
They are warp entities formed from the collective Ork psyche, and they live in their own portion of the warp. The warp doesn't adhere to logical or physical standards, but they have their own domain in it like the other "gods". All warp entities got stronger when the Cicatrix Maledictum came into being, Gork and Mork included.

Oh seeing that Ork post about the first Xenos Nasosi encountered makes me want to ask:
Has nasosi ever interacted with the T'au?
Thank you for the great question!
Right now, I think the answer is no. Their territory is on the opposite side of the galaxy from Nasosi's primary sites of deployment. And with the Cicatrix Maledictum cutting the galaxy in half, she is almost certainly never going to travel anywhere near their expansions.
But while she's never interacted with them, she is certainly educated at least somewhat about them. Just in case she had to face them in battle. Although her education on the T'au is certainly steeped in Imperial propaganda and contains only vague truths.
