Regarding your engineering thing, this might be a veeery long shot, but as a possible idea that came to mind: if your town or the ones nearby have any kind of youth hobby clubs for the theme or related stuff, maybe you can try to find the contact info/vk/blogs of those and see if people teaching there can be of any help? With either basics, courses-materials suggestions or giving you contacts for similar more adult-centered groups?

I saw an invitation to ask some questions and I am in love with the style and Lore Implications!

- You have mentioned a slave rebellion, which means there was some kind of a slave owner previously, a state? Is it still out there or have it crumbled in the rebellion? How long ago was it?

- Are soilcrawlers under compulsion to kill or is it a choice they make? Given the mention of one entity in the past do they have any form of a hive mind presently?

- Morok, judging by the word, is some kind of vision caused by the Rogue Star, yes? What precautions one needs to take to be protected from it? Is it lethal?

let's answer this!

- there are indeed two states, from which the rebels came - to the north and to the south of fernwoods. they are still functional, but velefaqto is very well protected by natural barrier that is fernwoods and by the fact that they extract a literal absolute fuel from the quarry, which speeds up their technological progress A LOT. the rebellion had happened around 75-100 years ago.

- potenfarelas do not need to kill but they have a great practical incentive to do so, including self-defence. they were originally a hive mind-like entity, but now the connection is severed. they can reconnect partially, but their knowledge of their origin depends on the size of the shard - many new potenfarelas have no idea of who they are and what they can do.

- morok is indeed a vision caused by the exposure to the rogue star. velefaqtans are very practical and have guidelines on everything - including eldritch horrors. a miner can identify a morok by non-distorted sounds first and foremost. in case of a morok, one should stop moving, check on their harness and on the connection rope - then, if rope acts weird and doesn't lead to anything, they should announce that they are in morok, ignore everything, close their eyes and count to ten. it usually wears off. moroks are by no means lethal, but they are well crafted to make you suicidal.

1) so you take a bunch of dirty rags, some leather belts and ropes, chainmail and plating with something welded onto it, throw in a bunch of spikes and skulls - and you got yourself a basic chaos undivided baby! it heavily depends on what they are doing and how do they worship if they do, basically. screw's clothes, for example, heavily dependent on whether she is on duty or not.

2) we were playing a tzeentch-aligned bc campaign and there was a city where the council was called every nine years, and they just sat there inventing new fuckass laws from the thin air. and the people had to live by that.

i am currently developing a tzeentchian cult as a part of cult system for every god. they are called the computing coven upsilon-16, and they are dark mechanicum who develop the ultimate formula, that will accurately describe the universe, for prediction purposes. upsilon-16 is not a name, it's a countdown. the formula will be finished when they will be omega-null. cultists are turned into processing arrays, and psyker brains are the most valuable.

I love your art; it evokes within me a kind of love and fondness that I am not often privy to. Your use of colours is truly masterful and at times it feels as though nature itself could not make more colours for fear of the masterpieces you would create with a broader palette. Your interpretation of the oft sidelined warhammer factions like chaos cultists and the genestealers have wormed their way into my brain for good, they make the setting more varied and interesting. Your ideas are like a breath of fresh air in a world that has been reheating the space marines with slight changes for years now. I feel a bit like a stray dog discovering home life for the first time in years, your works just scratch that itch I suppose. Sorry for hiding on anon and thank you sincerely for posing. don't know a thing about aos besides that it has rats in it and rats are cool. 40k... each one of them for me, bc let's be real, gender is not similar in every culture and there are a lot of cultures even if we count only humans. if we are talking about the perception of gender in others and oneself - chaos cultists, drukhari, t'au auxilliaries probably
