Chrysler Valiant AP6 Regal Safari, 1965. The Australian Valiant was based on the American Plymouth Valiant (the AP stood for Australian Production). The AP6 introduced a split grill based on the 1964 North American Plymouth Barracuda. The Safari model name was used for all of Chrysler Australia's station wagons from the AP5 to the VG series of 1970.

Valiant Charger Hemi 265 R/T:

The Chrysler Valiant Charger was a two-door hardtop coupe introduced by Chrysler Australia in 1971. It was a short wheelbase version of the concurrent Australian Chrysler Valiant sedan. Introduced within the VH Valiant series, it continued as a variant through the subsequent VJ, VK and CL series, until production ceased in 1978. It was marketed and badged as the Valiant Charger in the VH and VJ series and as the Chrysler Charger in the later VK and CL series.

Chrysler Valiant AP6 Wayfarer, 1965. Based on the US Plymouth Valiant, the AP6 (Australian Production no. 6) was the first pick-up offered by Chrysler Australia though there was no equivalent Plymouth model in the US. It was powered by Chrysler's 225ci straight 6

We can't see any Plymouth lettering. So it will probably be, since a Swiss car, a Valiant Signet assembled there by Automontage Schinznach AG in painstaking manual work with Swiss windows, carpets, seats, radiators etc. Powered by the 2.8 liter Slant Six engine, the car was sold somewhat pompously as a Chrysler, as the Plymouth brand was unknown there at first.

„MONTAGE SUISSE – Mehrwert durch Schweizer Montage“ („Added value through Swiss assembly") was their advertising slogan. And indeed, the rust prevention was significantly better than in the American models. Likewise, more reliable electrics were provided.
