[“Turns out that being a lesbian outside of the privacy of your own home was quite hard. I’m not talking about the various manifestations of homophobia—oh, that old thing. I’m talking about scoring. Picking up chicks. (As it turns out, I would come to prefer the type of woman few would recognize as female, the type who would cheerfully deck you if you called her a chick, but might, if I were lucky, see me as such: a chick, a babe, a femme fox.)
In the oeuvre of Mr. Spillane, being a lesbian seemed so easy, like shooting fish in a barrel. In my favorite lesbian novels, No Blonde is an Island and My Gun is Quick, all a gal had to do was brush up against another woman by the water cooler and, watch out, the sapphic sparks would surely fly. Lesbianism was something any woman could do, no special equipment, messy creams or liquids were required.
But when I walked into my first dyke bar in New York City, I had a rude awakening. It was like transferring to a new high school. No, it was worse than that. A new junior high school. You walk into the class on the first day and everyone turns to stare. Your clothes, your hair, the way you move, it’s all wrong. You have to change everything or die a horrible and lingering death.
I guess the moral of this story is that there are some pursuits, such as lesbianism, that one can’t learn from a book, no matter the author. A more crass sort might make some tasteless jokes at this juncture about “boning up” on lesbianism, or about “hands-on experience,” but the reader can be assured this dyke will not sink to that level.
I watched the other women dancing, talking, flirting. All transactions were conducted in a lingo as incomprehensible to me as straight guy sports speak. My late-seventies disco fever look was out of place here. Everyone looked like they’d raided the closet of their bigger, older brother while he was out repairing refrigerators.
I was the only one wearing makeup.
Someone approached me: “This is a gay bar.” I shriveled up and a gust of wind blew me out into the street.
I had no skills. No lesbian skills. I was stared at, rather than cruised, at the bars. I couldn’t find a way of singnaling to another dyke that I was open for business, a friend of Dorothy, in the life, on the bus. Let alone desperately horny.
Somehow I managed a few invites to lesbian parties. I’d figured out that wearing lipstick was wrong, but I was still doing it. I’m such a congenital WASP that my lips disappear without makeup; I couldn’t imagine having sex without lipstick. I had tried to pull a lesbian look together: oversized second-hand men’s clothes, an unbuttoned black vest, but Annie Hall does not work on someone five feet tall.
Nor could I play softball. When something is thrown at me, even if it is specifically designed for that purpose, I automatically duck. All I had going for me in the lesbian skill department was ownership of a cat. Enough to break the ice, but not cinch the deal.
Certainly I couldn’t just come out and ask some other dyke to show me the ropes, so to speak. The seventies were still going on even though it was now the eighties. Feminism and lesbianism had kind of merged, become one big multinational entity with Andrea Dworkin as CEO. You had to be sneaky to get laid.
Yikes. It had been so easy with men. All you had to do was bend over at the bowling alley and something would happen.
After two years, the drought ended. I saw a sign that advertised: “Double-X-Rated Christmas Party for Women.” The party was held in the basement of a Catholic church. Perhaps the priests had passed out upstairs and had no idea what was going on. Or perhaps the priests were the drag queens working the bar. Nevertheless, I was there as soon as the doors opened. And the doors were not the only thing that opened.
I walked into the basement where the party was taking place and saw rows of thrift store tuxedoes, second-hand prom dresses. The doorperson made it clear that these outfits could be borrowed for the evening. After they checked their coats, many party-goers were borrowing outfits from the racks and disappearing into the bathroom to amend their attire. As the evening went on, I noticed more and more women trading in their flannel and denim for sharkskin and taffeta.
At this, my first encounter with the women who produced the WOW Festival and would later open the WOW Cafe in a tiny linguini-shaped storefront on East Eleventh Street, I fell in love. In love with all of the women, with their outrageousness, their unruly desire. I wanted desperately to be a part of whatever it was they were doing…if the WOW Cafe had been a support group for lesbian skeet shooters, that’s what I’d be doing now.
Instead, I found theater, or it found me. And the theater, it seemed, offered a wonderful solution to my involuntary celibacy: the casting couch. In theater you are encouraged to have sex with as many people as possible; it’s an integral part of the process. At least at WOW it seemed like the shows were almost an afterthought to the flirting, a byproduct of the endless parties where women of every imaginable gender rubbed up against each other.
This last paragraph reads like a natural cue to cross-fade to the Story of the First Girlfriend, doesn’t it? At this point, I should see a stranger across a crowded room, our eyes should lock, and the violins should swell like wieners on the grill. But this scene isn’t part of my coming-out story. Who even remembers my first girlfriend? Not me. I remember lots of bodies, I remember rooms lit by lots of small lights, and above all else, I remember lots and lots of Rolling Rock. This movie doesn’t end with a soft-focus closeup on two women kissing; this is a coming-out story that crescendos into a crowd scene. It’s a wide-angle shot. The climax of my coming-out scenario isn’t a closeup on a lesbian couple but a panorama of a lesbian world.”]

I would like to offer this resource for therians, an extensive list of all of Sir David Attenborough’s nature documentaries that are available on soap2day, and a full list of what species* they each (notably, prominently) feature the natural behaviors of, separated by episode, and omitting species that were only shown dead, juvenile or being predated on. This took me a while (I have been working on it since Prehistoric Planet’s release) because I did in fact have to watch every single series in full in order to list all the species and the episodes are around 50 minutes long, but enjoy.
Long post ahead:
Most of these shows have closed captioning, which is why I’ve picked soap2day. Planet Earth is the only one that doesn’t. I did not include Dynasties and Dynasties II because each episode only features one species.
Thank you to Birch (@ambiguousmutt) for his help (he watched about half of the episodes) so I didn’t have to do it individually. Credit goes to him as well.
*Sometimes Attenborough doesn’t say the specific species and I was too busy trying to get through the episodes to identify it. In those cases I just put the most specific name I could.

Sonic Headcanons/AU Stuff, because I'm just in the mood and accidentally made a Sonic AU while rewriting the story of Sonic Forces... As ya do.
The anthropomorphic animals in this universe are called "Faunans", because fauna is a colloquial term for the animal life in a place
Sonic grew up in the Christmas Island orphanage starting at age 3 1/2 due to his dad accidentally drowning at sea during a storm they were both in, which laid the groundwork for Labyrinth to give him full blown traumatic aquaphobia
Mighty and Ray became the first two people to successfully catch up to and keep up with the fastest thing alive, leading to the three becoming a trio of little troublemakers
Adding onto the childhood friend angle, the armadillo and flying squirrel are the only people who can call Sonic "Nicky" until Sonic informs Tails of the nickname after Adventure, though the fox keeps it for when they're alone
an 11yo Sonic first went Super as he was falling to Earth after blowing up the Death Egg in Sonic 2, surprising both himself and the 4yo fox piloting the Tornado
The Super Emeralds and thus, the Hyper State are only possible on and above Angel Island, due to the presence of the Master Emerald
Out of all the small animals in the world, Flickys are the most sensitive to Chaos Energy
Combining the previous two, the first person to go Hyper was Mr. Miles "Tails" Prower, sharing the immense energy with four Flickys who followed him and Sonic into the Death Egg
Mania was erased from everyone's memory in a last ditch effort by Heavy Magician to lay in wait to eventually defeat Sonic forever. Her plan worked until (now 12)Sonic got sent into when he was supposed to be 17 and also dead(?), awakening everyone's memories upon finding one of the Phantom Ruby copies Ivo made. This is also why the Present Sonic of the time was able to act like he hadn't been tortured, due to the sudden rush of "Hey wait... I've seen that thing before!"
The Chaos Emeralds are sentient, beginning to appear to their unofficial protector in his dreams as a Blue Ricky, Magenta Pocky, Red Pecky, Cyan Flicky, Yellow Picky, Green Cucky/Clucky/Cooky/whatever the hell you wanna call the chickens, and a Gray Rocky in between Adventure 1 and 2

Sure, here are some of the greatest animal migrations in the world, along with some details about each one:
1. Wildebeest Migration: Every year, over a million wildebeest migrate across the Serengeti plains of Tanzania and Kenya in search of fresh grazing lands. This migration is considered one of the largest and most dramatic wildlife events on Earth.
2. Monarch Butterfly Migration: Every fall, millions of monarch butterflies travel up to 3,000 miles from Canada and the United States to central Mexico, where they spend the winter in the oyamel fir forests.
3. Caribou Migration: Caribou, also known as reindeer, undertake one of the longest migrations of any land animal, traveling up to 3,000 miles across the Arctic tundra each year in search of food and breeding grounds.
4. Humpback Whale Migration: Humpback whales migrate up to 16,000 miles each year, from their breeding grounds in warm tropical waters to their feeding grounds in cold polar waters.

Comics read this past week:
DC Comics:
the Sandman stories in Adventure Comics (1938) #43-44
With these two Sandman stories I just went from September 1939 to October 1939. The first story was six pages and was written and drawn by Bert Christman. The second story was ten pages and was written by Gardner Fox and drawn by Creig Flessel with Fred Guardineer assisting on inking the backgrounds.
The premise of the first story was that Wesley Dodds was on a vacation and flying his plane in the South Seas where he chanced upon a criminal plot on one of the islands. The second story began with a man breaking into Wesley Dodds’ house but immediately derailed that intended robbery when Wes recognized the man as his childhood friend. The two catch up and the childhood friend shares with Wesley that he intends to go straight as soon as he catches and gets revenge on the man known as the Mask for getting his sister killed. This is interrupted by a police officer supposedly entering the home due to a call that someone was seen breaking into it, but was really the Mask in disguise who killed the childhood friend and injured Wesley enough that he was hospitalized for days. The rest of the story was Wesley investigating in order to track down the Mask and ultimately killing him.
Fawcett Comics:
the Captain Marvel stories in Whiz Comics (1940) #61-62 and in Captain Marvel Adventures (1941) #42-43
In this batch of Captain Marvel stories I went from November 1945 to December 1945. There is one Captain Marvel story per issue of Whiz Comics and four per issue of Captain Marvel Adventures for a total of ten Captain Marvel stories read in this batch. These stories ranged from seven to twelve pages.
The story "Captain Marvel and the World of If" (written by Otto Binder; artist unknown) in Captain Marvel Adventures #42 explored through a ‘world of if’ machine a possible alternate timeline in which Captain Marvel joined the Nazis. This happened through a Nazi tricking Captain Marvel into signing a contract agreeing to “denounce America and help Hitler” which Captain Marvel then treated as binding and, after a brief moment of sadness, completely followed. But when Captain Marvel transforms back into Billy to go to sleep that night, Billy is devastated and sobs before determinedly sneaking around Hitler’s compound to try to find and rip up that contract. This all is presented as something that was entirely possible to happen, but that even in a world where Captain Marvel joined the Nazis he would eventually turn on them and defeat them. And so Billy states at the end of the story in his concluding broadcast that, “There are many possible branches of if worlds! But in all of them, no matter which one fate chooses to follow, there is always Captain Marvel! And as long as there is Captain Marvel around, things just can’t go wrong!”
The story "Captain Marvel and the Plot Against Christmas" (writer unknown; possibly drawn by Pete Constanza) in Captain Marvel Adventures #42 was very much like Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol with Captain Marvel taking a crotchety old man who was resisting donating toys to orphans for Christmas around to different places to try to teach him the Christmas spirit. I particularly appreciated the beginning of the story where Billy was working alone at Station Whiz on Christmas Eve and looks at the pile of Christmas cards from his friends on his desk and says to himself, “Sometimes I wish I had someone closer to me than just friends! It’s times like Christmas when it’s tough to be an orphan!”

Fun facts about Sonic plz-
Tumblr media
10 Facts About My Characters // Still Accepting!
Tumblr media
He was AroAce until He met Shadow, but unfortunately they sacrificed themselves to save Gaia which he was hesitant to say he was Bi for a very long time until he comes out before the War.
He discovers more about the Warp Rings by accident and curiosity which he warps into Mega City and met Rock. Skyler/Sonic and Wren/Tails eventually figure a way to track down nearby Warp Rings thanks to the fox's consistently updating communicator watch.
Throughout the years, his senses heightened from using the chaos emeralds so he can sense a chaos emerald nearby like Knuckles senses the Master Emerald pieces. He doesn't use the Super Form until he needs to. Another neat detail that his green irises are more brighter.
He can't recall who gave him his love of chili dogs, but it's quite a faint memory of Christmas Island. The strong smell of spices and the hearty taste still lingers and it just stuck with him and that's what matters. Now he's excite to see any human or mobian create a new flavor and you know he's always gonna first in line to try one.
Music is basically one of his therapies and hobby. He always love to share his music on streams since he is so passionate about it. It took him awhile to get a pc and how to even set up one. Thanks to Wren as a mod for his streams, he always try to find time to make a jam stream sessions. He even sometimes collabs with Vector and other artists!
He wears clothes when he goes zone hopping to just not mix up with other sonics, but there are times when he's not in a mood and just messes around and find out what adventure awaits.
Skyler/Sonic eventually signed up adoption papers for Wren/Tails and since clearly the fox was abandoned and it was a lot of work and digging through information, but he managed to do it.
Skyler/Sonic and Wren/Tails both live in a two story cottage in the deep woods miles away from Station Square and not too far off from Amara/Amy. They both created the home with no help at all and of course they somehow find ways to live their life without paying bills. There is also a nice tunnel runway from the basement workshop to the cliffside of the ocean. (it's like a runway for the batmobile except it's for the Tornado.
Skyler/Sonic's connection with the Tornado is interesting. It was the combination with the help of the islanders that helped Sonic how to fix and fly.
Sonic/Skyler absolutely cares about his found family (Wren/Tails, Amy/Amara and Terran/Knuckles), it is the only family he knows and absolutely will defend them no matter what.

Which Out Of These Bible Cartoons Is The Best?:
Tumblr media
To be specific, I’m talking about the Biblical cartoons that DON’T have (what I like to call) a “Tour Guide”: pretty much an OC that guides the viewer to what the story is about. I had grown up knowing of Hanna Barbera’s “The Greatest Adventures: Stories From The Bible” (which I prefer over “Superbook” or “The Flying House” to be honest). And while I love that show, I find myself preferring Biblical cartoons that don’t rely on a Tour Guide Character. I understand why that trope is used-especially for kids. With the Bible, there’s a lot to explain. But, when seeing a review of that “Samson And Delilah” cartoon (which I think was from Burbank films…?), it made me hate the Tour Guide Character trope with how annoying the narrator’s voice was. Besides, I’d rather just follow the Biblical characters without having to focus on some OC (and this is coming from a fanfic writer who has OCs…).
So, with that in mind, I got these “contestants”:
“Animated Stories From The Bible/New Testament”: From Richard Rich, the man behind “Animated Hero Classics”, “The Fox And The Hound”, “Small One”, and, most notably, “The Swan Princess”, this series lasted from 1987-2005.
“Testament: The Bible In Animation”: Having a short run within 1996 and (technically) a movie, “The Miracle Maker” in 2000, this unique series told the Bible through different art styles from claymation to oil paintings. The people behind this show are also behind “Shakespeare: The Animated Tales”. One of its producers, Christmas Films, had also worked on “Animated Tales Of The World” (2000-2004) and “The Canterbury Tales” (1998-2000).
Mondo’s “Bible Cartoons”: If you’re a fan of Bobsheaux, Saberspark or The Nostalgia Critic, you might be familiar with Mondo. They’re the folks behind the “Highlander” animated show, the 1995 “Cinderella” anime, “The Legend Of Snow White”, along with… “Simba The King Lion”, “Titanic: The Legend Goes On”, and its sequels, “Tentacolino” and “Fantasy Island”...ANYWAY, while Mondo’s “The Old Testament” ran from 2003-2004, “Jesus: A Kingdom Without Frontiers”  was in 1996 followed by “In The Name Of Jesus” in 1999, “The King Of Kings: Jesus” in 1998, and “A Kingdom Without Frontiers” movie in 2000.
While I have seen “Testament: The Bible In Animation” and parts of “Animated Stories”, I have seen bits of Mondo’s Jesus cartoons. Honestly, seeing what Mondo had done to the Titanic, Simba, along with Pocahontas and Mulan, can you blame me? However, their “Cinderella” and “Snow White” shows seemed to have had decent ratings on IMDB.
Still, with all that said, which Biblical cartoon is the best out of these three?

Know ye not that I have power to deliver you up unto the flames? (Alma & Amulek's enemies)
Hearing God when the flames are over us are essential. Today I went over my page and read to hear God speak to me to find God speak back to me with words I collected. I deleted what I no longer needed. I felt God speak to me as I read the words and looked at pictures bringing me peace. God taught me to search for him and his voice of comfort became clear.
Last night I trained my eyes again. I saw with new lights a shimmering color. I saw God clearly in something new that my eyes were never able to see. When I sat down and felt the beauty, I could see more things around me that God was in. I saw a red earthy canteen and that spoke to me of a woman at the well lifting up water for Jesus to drink. I saw a clear big apple jar with a few Lifesavers in it. It reminded me of Adam and Eve at the garden and Jesus visiting them before they fell from the Garden of Eden. He was there to save them. I not only felt God, but he opened my eyes. He used my physical eyes to open my spiritual eyes.
I found God in pictures that reminded me of bad memories and he trained me to look again to find him in the story. A pink mansion was where a bad memory I had was stuck with me forever. I saw the pink mansion with somber eyes. I was challenged by the Spirit to look again to find Jesus.
My brother drowned in that mansion and I could not speak to save him. We were playing and asking him to get a ball, but he drowned. I watched him with terror. It felt like my voice was gone forever after that day.
I never felt safe enough around my parents to speak. My brother was saved, but I died that day.
God asked me to go back and look for him all throughout the story. There was a woman named Mrs Fox who lived in that big pink mansion. She was just like the story books I read of Grandma's giving cookies to all her kids she could find. She gave us gummy bears from her jar when my dad would stop by. She gave us Christmas presents too. She offered her spare pink guest house to my uncle's who were ministers and they loved to smoke. That's all I remember was cigarettes and ashes in a big pink mansion behind her tennis court. My dad gave her free electric work and she would pay us off in really big ways. She lived across the beach and she would invite us there. She had a really big kitchen with clear refrigerators you'd find at the store and she would share her expensive chocolates with us. She reminded me of Jesus. Everything my dad would give her she would multiply it back until we couldn't pay her back. She even came with my parents to fly in a test flight to their home island. She moved out of her mansion and bought a new house to be close to her children. I remember her saying how much she would miss her house. Maybe this is what God wants me to remember. I was afraid of my parents. So many terrible things kept happening wherever we lived, but God's warmth was around me with people like Mrs. Fox. She missed her pink house. I decided to redecorate her pink house in my mind and make it a home away from home. God saved me.

Ted Cruz Speaks Out Over Joe Biden's Vacation During Winter Storm
Texas Senator Ted Cruz has weighed in on conservative criticism of Joe Biden's family vacation to the U.S. Virgin Islands. On Tuesday, Cruz tweeted a Fox News clip discussing the president's holiday plans with the caption: "Enjoy St. Croix," followed by palm tree, cocktail and sunshine emojis.
The White House has defended the vacation and said the president will still be working during the period. The Bidens will return to Washington D.C. on January 2. "No matter where the President is, he is working," a White House spokesperson told Newsweek in a statement. "The President will continue to closely monitor updates and will remain in close touch with staff over the New Year."
Cruz's tweet appeared to be a lighthearted nod to the criticism the Republican received for his trip to Cancun, Mexico, in February 2021 amid a deadly winter storm in Texas.
The senator came under fire for flying out to Cancun with his family as Texas dealt with power outages and no running water during freezing temperatures. Cruz originally defended his actions by claiming that he flew to Cancun to "be a responsible dad" after his daughters asked to embark on a trip with friends when school was canceled.
Upon his return to the U.S., Cruz admitted that he wanted to spend a few more days in Cancun, but came back earlier amid the uproar. "I didn't want all the screaming and yelling about this trip to distract even one moment from the real issue that I think Texans care about, which is keeping all of our families safe," Cruz said.
"It was obviously a mistake, and in hindsight, I wouldn't have done it," the Republican added. Leaked text messages later revealed that Cruz's wife Heidi had planned the trip for the entire family on short notice because their home was "FREEZING!" during the winter storm.
Biden and the first lady Jill Biden left on Tuesday for St. Croix to bring in the New Year having celebrated Christmas in the White House. The Bidens have frequently visited the U.S. territory situated in the Caribbean, and were on vacation there at least once a year between 2009 and 2017.
Biden spent his Christmas vacation in his home state of Delaware in 2020 and 2021 because of travel restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, with this year's visit being his first as president.
Biden was criticized by a number of other Republican figures for his vacation abroad at a time of freezing temperatures across the U.S., which have left dozens dead.
"The optics of this are horrible," conservative commentator Michele Tafoya told Fox News on Tuesday. "Not only is it a vacation, but it's somewhere warm and pleasant while others are freezing, literally, to death."

Sonic the Hedgehog 2: Power Unleashed
Since the Sonic Movie 2 trailer is going to be dropped tomorrow, it is time to share with you my version of the sequel in summary form along with pictures. I wanted to make more drawings for this, bit I didn't have time, so I will have to do it with the one's I have ready. Several of them are really old and that's why they look a bit crappy. Since the story it's still too long I'll divide it in three parts and an epilogue.
REMEMBER!! This isn't anything official. It's just my version of the sequel.
PART 1
It starts when Sonic causes a EMP while running at the baseball field. The power wave is so big that it travels at super speed through space until it reaches Sonic's home planet six months later. There, a young fox (Tails) tracks the signal.
Six months after the events of the first movie, Sonic is having the time of his life now that everyone in Green Hills knows about him. Being on the first days of December, Sonic is excited waiting for the first snow so he can play with his new friends.
One night during the winter festival the town celebrates, Sonic's powers get out of control, causing a blackout and having to save several people from the rides of the carnival. Tom later finds the hedgehog sitting on the roof; they have a little chat where Sonic confesses he sometimes feels homesick about his birth planet (he tells Tom that when he was feeling sad he used to go to a sunflower field that grew at the other side of the island), and questions himself about his real purpose in life since his powers cause more trouble than good.
To cheer him up, Tom and Maddie take him the next day to buy more Christmas decorations for the house, but they're intercepted by Wade, who tells them that there's a bunch of government agents questioning people about last night's blackout; they've been tracking down Sonic and they've come for him. They decide to get back home, but they find Crazy Carl in the way who tells them to be careful since he saw a UFO flying over the forest that morning.
Tumblr media
When they arrive at home, they hear Ozzy barking at something inside the garage. Thinking it might be a skunk they found out a few days ago, Tom and Sonic try to go inside and catch it, but the creature Is too fast and escapes. Sonic chases after him and it's amused at its speed. He finally catches up with it and is surprised when he sees it's an antropomorphic young fox. The fox introduces himself as Miles Prower, and shows his excitement at finding Sonic.
Tumblr media
Sonic and his friends invite Miles to the house. Once inside, the young fox explains them that he comes from Sonic's home planet, and from the same island where he is now some kind of mythical creature known as the 'Blue Blur'. Miles also explains that the reason he's been tracking down Sonic is because he needs his help to save their world from extinction, and in order to do so, they must gather up a group of gems known as the Chaos Emeralds.
At first Sonic doesn't want to go, but since he doesn't want to cause anymore trouble to Tom and Maddie, and with the USA government being after him, he choses to go and use this opportunuty to prove himself that his powers are more than destruction. Obviously, Tom and Maddie are also going with them, but they first ask Rachel and Jojo (who were visiting them) to take care of Ozzy.
Tumblr media
Once they've packed up everything the would need, Miles opens a portal and the group of friends are teleported to South Island on Sonic's planet. Tom and Maddie are amused with the place and Sonic takes a quick run to remember the old days.
Miles tells them they need to go to his workshop to retrieve a few more stuff they'll need for the trip. On the way, he tells them about something called The Great Chaostastrophe, an event that started when Angel Island, the floating island, fell from the sky. This was caused because the Master Emerald, who keeps the island floating, lost all it's power. The chaos energy creates life, and without it, everything will die. That's why they need the Chaos Emeralds, to repair the Master Emerald and restore the chaos energy balance in the universe.
There are six emeralds and they're hidden in five different places. The emeralds have the power to protect themselves by using everything around them, creating traps and obstacles that could be lethal. To get them, you need speed, and Sonic is the only creature fast enough to do so.
Once Miles packs everything he needs from his workshop, he creates another portal that gets them to Emerald Hill, the place where the first emerald is located. Sonic makes it to the emerald with little effort and inmediatly feels a connection with it.
Just when they are about to leave through another portal, a hooded figure appears from the shadows and attacks Sonic. During their struggle, the hood falls off and Sonic sees the face of his attacker: an equidna with giant fists. Getting flashbacks from what the echidnas did last time, Sonic is paralyzed while lightning starts to come out of him. The echidna sees his chance and launches himself to punch Sonic, but he snaps out of it on time and curls himself into a ball. The echidna's fist connects with Sonic, but the impact of his punch along with Sonic's powers is too strong that they cause an explosion. The echidna hits his head hard while Sonic is unhurt.
Tumblr media
Maddie checks on the echidna when he wakes up and she realizes he's got amnesia since he doesn't seem to remember anything. She tells the rest they should take him along with them since he's hurt. Since the echidna doesn't remember his real name, Sonic calls him 'Knuckles'.
