This is essentially just an alternative version of the Polar Express AU. An au of an au if you will. They're so silly, I love the polar express <333

Ermmmmm their roles are sort of. Idk yet. BUT I DID BASE THEIR DESIGNS OFF OR CHRISTMAS/WINTER STUFF!!! Like both Pedro and Alma being Father/Mother Christmas uhhhh.

Felíx is supposed to be something if a snowman. Bro never gets cold, the scarf is purely for decoration lmao Pepa is supposed to represent snowflakes/snowballs, snow in general. Bruno is just. Christmas tree, everyone loves those. Julieta is covered in hollyberry's, Agustín is obviously the Conductor.

The kids??? Were a little harder ngl. Isabela is just winter plants in general, Dolores is any music, or even bells (lots of bells. They put them on her cause she's WAY too quiet). Luisa, I just thought of the Aurora Borealis; Camilo is probably the Christmas spirit or something like that, Mirabel is a conductor (in-training), and Antonio. Antonio is just there, he's still finding his thing 😭😭

Christmas, in my family, begins to be celebrated today, December 8th, the day of the Immaculate Conception. And there is nothing more Christmassy in my opinion than the Nutcracker 🎄 I love this show, last year I went to see the on-ice version and it was beautiful 😍☃️❄️ And of course I couldn't celebrate the beginning of the holidays without my beloved Bruno 💚⌛✨

Let the magic of Christmas begin! 🎇🎄🎁

This is Tío Oscar, aka The Bruno of Christmas Present, as I call him, wishing you merry Winter Holidays!

It seemed perfect to combine jolly big form of my favorite guy with my favorite Christmas-related character. For the fuller crossover, I added elements of celebrating of Christmas and New Year in Colombia: festive food (buñuelos and natilla) and references to traditions, like: eat 12 grapes in New Year midnight, and make a wish for each one; wear yellow underwear for prosperity; pour champagne over yourself, also for prosperity:)

In process I learned that parents of Bruno, apparently, have met each other on Día de las Velitas, December 7th – first day of celebrations, an eve of Immaculate Conception. Isn’t it a touching detail? All makes the guy even more fitting for that role…

Sorry for such a loose cultural interpretation, by the way. I just wanted to make something more meaningful than simple mash-up.
