I warn you, this post is not meant to offend anyone! It's okay if you like the characters.

Am I the only one disappointed by the evil Mickey and Minnie in Mirror Christmas?

I mean, look, we're shown footage of Insomniac and Minerva, dark tones, a devilish smile, Blackspot's description of the criminals.

Described as «an extraordinary inventor who commits villainy simply because he can». There are even real examples of his criminal genius - amnesia rain, and breaking into a bank with just one candy.

Minerva is a master of pyrotechnics! A mad genius just like her partner! She is wearing dark boots. And Minerva's bow! It looks like Minnie's bow, but it's worn out because Minerva works with fire!

A message from the villainous couple at the end of the episode. And again, dark tones, those evil crazy smiles!

But in the next episode of Mirror Christmas, we're shown... This.

Elephant and mouse. Yeah, VERY poetic, Mr. Napoleon of Crime.

The lair in bright colors, the bruises under the eyes are makeup (sorry, evil makeup), and Minnie is not holding dynamite, but a bat. Instead of dark boots, classic Minnie shoes. And she is in a long skirt (with flowers!). Is this even convenient?

It doesn't help that episode 4 was drawn by a different artist. The styles are very different, and I didn't take those stupid faces seriously! I'll put a couple of frames next to each other for comparison.

The final fight was kind of ridiculous with button throwing and "sword fighting".

The criminal was knocked out very easily... And Minerva is also silly happy that they got on TV...

And this is a crazy criminal geniu?.. And this is his partner?.. I'm... I'm upset. I wanted to be happy about the new comic, but episode 4 ruined everything for me...

That is, if the first three episodes were dark, tense, with... notes of noir (if I express myself correctly), then the fourth episode looks like some kind of caricature! The tone of the narrative has changed!

So, I got a tiny bit excited, and uh, read head without the English translation, and uh- spoilers for the Gladstone section but uh-

Uh, Topolino, this was supposed to be what if Gladstone was a superhero, not what if Gladstone had a situationship with whitewashed Emil Eagle.

My god, the power of donro is too strong, that it affects the mirrorverse, Gladstone calls Emil/Spennacchiotto, Spenny, for graces sake. No universe is safe
