So Yerin Ha has been officially cast as Sophie for bridgerton s4 and she’s made a playlist on spotify apparently meant for Sophie and the song choices are just 👌👌👌 but also… she’s added Billie Eilish’s Lunch????? A suspiciously queer song to add. Possibly hinting at what the show might be up to this season…?

Imagine having to erase yourself from existence after growing up in an abusive household where the abuse is justified because it’s to push you to prepare to save the world except you grow up to be a dysfunctional adult instead with hardly any support system and you’re told that, in fact, YOU are the cause of the world being in danger, excusing all of the abuse you went through, so instead of the ones who willed you into existence taking responsibility you have to take matters into your own damn hands and finish the job yourself

I usually don’t approve of retconning and “it was all of dream” sequences but I would sell my soul for a season 5 of tua and open it with Klaus coming out from another near death experience and all of season 4 was fake

Two of my three dormmates have opted out of the on-campus housing this year so just crossing my fingers that the school just doesn’t bother giving us new roommates entirely

Logically, I’m not sure the showrunnners can fit in the three year time skip between the masquerade and the reunion considering they have to take so many other characters into account like Hyacinth and Gregory still being young and Penelope having to deal with being the newly revealed Whistledown which is really disappointing because that time apart was so necessary in building Sophie’s experience as a lower class made on her own for the first time and Benedict yearning for a lady he knew only for a single night. Honestly, they should’ve just included the masquerade at the end of s3 to make it somewhat more fathomable

Whatever they do for s4 it would be an absolute missed opportunity story-wise if they don't at least make a parallel to Anthony wanting to have run away with that opera singer only to be rejected because she called him out on idealizing her rather than embrace who she really is and Benedict being completely willing leave society behind to marry Sophie
