Christian remembered it like it was yesterday. The way he’d felt when he’d been handed his scythe for the first time, when he was 19, feeling so uncertain after signing himself away for a job he wasn’t even fucking sure he wanted to uptake.

He wished he could go back. He wished he’d known how to say no, back then. The things he saw, every single day. The blood. The grief. The tears. No amount of money was worth the sheer trauma this job produced for someone so young.

It wasn’t easy, guiding souls through the Midnight. The shit that resided in there… it was what made most reapers quit, in the past. He wasn’t even sure if there were any other reapers left aside from himself. Not that he wanted to talk to any of them anyway.

The hardest was the walk to Limbo. All those children…. God. It hurt.

He found, though, that old age was the easiest deaths to handle. It sounded a little morbid, of course, but it was the truth. There was no struggle, no denial of death. He didn’t have to get cursed out, or insulted. If anything, they always seemed blissfully peaceful.

They also always had the best stories to tell. It made the Midnight more bearable. All of the souls that got tricked and bought out were stored there. Having a distraction made it easier to ignore, and in turn, easier to navigate.

Sometimes he wished, though, that he could save those souls. Return them to their rightful hosts. But he couldn’t. Not with the Guardians watching.

He couldn’t risk one of them telling his father. Even though he knew they would probably agree… he wasn’t a gambling man.

He was drawn from his thoughts and back into reality at a hand on his shoulder, looking up to meet the eyes of a concerned passerby.

“Hey,” they said, “are you alright? You’ve just sort of been sitting there for a while now.”

“Ah.. yeah, i’m fine” He responded with a meek smile. He’d gotten so lost in memory he’d almost forgotten he wasn’t down there anymore. Although he didn’t doubt that if he were to return it would be no different. “Thank you, though. Just get lost in thought sometimes, y’know?”

“Oh, all too well” They chuckled. “Anyway, i’m in kind of a hurry, i’ve gotta go. Hope you have a good day, though!”

Chris nodded as they walked away, letting out a heavy sigh. He always forgot his scythe was cloaked. He swore some people could almost see through it, sometimes.

Picking up the heavy, bladed staff, he got to his feet, and continued on his way. He was gonna be late, at this rate.

OOH OOHOOHOOH OKAY SO y'know how like- the Ramirez siblings manifested in different places in the world (Vantè in Ireland, Sora in Denmark, Ryn in Britain (I think??) etc etc)?? and like- I remember you mentioning that none of the siblings except for Helodite remember their life before their initial manifestation-

soooo, did the Ramirez siblings not originally know about each other?? did they only really find out that they had siblings when they came across STS, or did things happen in an entirely different way to make them meet?

So like- even when they arrived at STS, they weren’t even entirely sure they were related at all, and STS intended to keep it that way, until Helodite’s arrival.

Helodite caused a site-wide breach within just weeks of being there by fucking up their security systems and making the whole system go haywire. When she helped the others escape, she then informed them that they were relatives.

They didn’t believe her at first, obviously, but after some hefty explaining, they believed her. Chris wanted to go back for Sora, but Helodite stopped him, given Sora was held in - and still is held in - Specialised Site 001 (SS-01).

In theory this could also mean Sora doesn’t know that he’s related to the others, nor even aware of their existence at all. Or, at the most, he knows he has siblings, he just doesn’t know how many or who they are.

big shoutout to my baby daddy Christian Ramirez, subbed in as an attacking mid in the 65’ tonight for Columbus Crew, who scored the winning goal to take us to the MLS Cup Final 😭

Columbus is my hometown team that I have a long complicated on and off relationship with (super fan until 2016, actively not a fan 2017-2021 ish, kind of a fan 2022-now). But seeing them succeed and watching them win with friends is a blessing really.

Maybe someday I will mend my relationship with the MLS and the Crew and we will be properly reunited. But tickets used to be $13 for fan section and now they’re $50+ for fan section so idk lolol

total black cat vibes, but one of those freaky lil guys. he would be extremely anti social, he would have a majorrrrrrr biting and scratching problem, but he would also be kim’s best friend. i feel like kim would be a lot more high energy than graf, and kim would drain his social battery in no time (especially when he would have his catnip)

graf wouldn't really be cuddly either but i feel like he’d be veryyyy sleepy. like all the time. maybe he would cuddle with kim if he was super super super tired, but only sometimes.

i feel like the only dog that he would like would be trist since trist would be very easy going.

there's absolutely no question about it. he’d be a whole lot more destructive than ramirez. he’s the type that you’d have to put down for biting one (or three) too many people, especially when it would come to defending david and kim and everyone.

he would always be messing around with christian and getting on his nerves. trying to bite him and scratch him. trying to play with him whenever he was tired. he would certainly make christian take a bunchhhhhhh of catnip and get him all fucked up.

A short whump-ish fic inspired by Miori Celesta’s cover of L O V E by Michael Bublé.

“L, is for the way you look at me..” A voice sang, as they worked on the ropes binding who, in their head, was still their boyfriend, even if Chris didn’t want to accept that.

The words echoed in Chris’s dazed head, barely able to see anything with how dark it was. But he knew that voice. He’d recognise it anywhere.

“O, is for the only one I see…” The voice continued, as he slowly crossed the room, standing back to admire their handiwork.

Chris wanted to speak, but found his mouth was taped off, eyes widening a little as he began to squirm, squirming of which only stopped at a touch to the shoulder.

“V, is very very extraordinary…”

Chris whimpered with fear, glancing up over his shoulder as the touch left his shoulder, before the footsteps began to move across the room once more.

“E, is even more than anyone that you adore can-“

The light flicked on, blinding Chris for a small moment as his eyes adjusted from pitch black darkness to the light of a dodgy, humming light bulb… and Madir’s form, approaching him.

“Love is all that I can give to you…” Madir continued, grinning softly as he tipped up Chris’s chin, brushing his thumb over the tape. “Love is more than just a game for two…”

Chris’s wide eyes met Madir’s, hyperventilating and suffocating at the same time. He couldn’t breathe evenly, but he could barely breathe at all.

“Two, in love can make it,” A knife, the blade catching the light, “take my heart but please don’t break it..” He punctuated that second last word by driving the knife into Chris’s thigh.

Chris screamed against the tape as the burning pain shot up his thigh, back arching from the sensation.

“Love, was made for me and you…”

His jaw is set and his word is final, yet his crown sits crooked on his head and there’s dark intentions that linger behind his eyes. Deceiving, vicious, cruel. He calls himself a ruler but he cowers behind his guards like a shield. If I were you, I wouldn’t consider even trusting him for or about anything.

Gentle voice and hands as soft as a Mother’s touch, she was a regalia of perfection and formality. A sweet bliss and an easy life. But if only people knew what she did once the curtains close. Oh, if only they knew.

A mess of bright green and inky black, limbs and eyes, things I can’t quite put the words to. A creature of Hell itself, sentient but terrifyingly savage. Misunderstood isn’t a label it falls under anymore, and in my honest opinion it never was in the first place.

A demon with a voice of gold and a tongue of silver. A frightening elegance and a distressing grace. It knows what it wants, and what it wants it gets. Unhindered, ethereal. Blood on it’s clawed hands and roses in it’s razor teeth. Charming and terrifying. It’s like there’s two personalities behind those glowing eyes that somehow work in harmony with each other.

Her retreat is sanitary halls, buzzing lights, whirring machinery and chemicals that probably weren’t verified by any branch of official. But her choice comes with a price. Isolation, a sense of guilt. A life of work and strain and fatigue and more work and more work and more work and-

Innocence and wide eyes, he sees the world like a small child. Colours and shapes and simplicity. A comfortable, easy lie. Sure, he has his moments, anybody at his age would, but his persistence breeds progress. He’s sort of like a puppy, really.

She’s just so… pure. And warm. She’s like a safe haven, a place to feel welcomed and protected and wanted. Hair like a cherry blossom and eyes like the sky they grow below. Her voice is soft, reassuring, and reminds me of a cup of hot chocolate after a long day.

A heavy blade but a heart of gold, he’s a picture of romance and charisma. Natural charm, sleek and beautiful. What else could you want from a man? He’s a sweetheart really, very kind hearted. If they could there’d be a whole lot of people bowing at his feet. Not that he’d ever want that flattery.

Everything just feels so new to him. He doesn’t quite understand anything that’s happening and he feels lost. He just wants guidance, someone to hear his desperate cries for help, but there’s always no response. There’s never anybody there to help him, to hold his hand and show him what to do. He’s scared, and he’s fully accepted it at this point.

Those that were forgotten? Or otherwise discarded? Oh, don’t you worry about them. I’m sure you’ll find them somewhere else. They’re around. Most of them at least.

Varg would confess to him that he’s into him, which is the reason why he would bully him so much (for attention that is, because this is Varg Vikernes we’re talking about)

Varg would always want him to cut class and just spend time with him whenever Varg would have a free period

Pelle would be hesitant, but he would still go every time

It would be worth getting in trouble to spend time with Varg

I feel like at first, Varg wouldn’t want to be seen with him at school

But everyone knows that he’s a homo, he’ll get over it eventually

Pelle would hate Øystein (because he’s antisocial) and Øystein would DESPERATELY try to befriend him

Eurovarg (both headcanon and canon) is a great example of how hate and love is very similar

Varg drove eight hours to kill Euro, he clearly had to care about him deeply in order to put in that much fucking effort

And Varg would put lots of effort into their relationship

He would always go out of his way to please Øystein in every single way possible

He would always hold him, not just because he loves him, but because he’s possessive

Especially when they out in public at a show

“You’re little and I don’t want people taking advantage of you” Varg would tell him

“The only person I have to worry about is you.”

And Varg would pick him up all of the time and Øystein would get all pissy because of it

I feel like they’re be friends to lovers, maybe

They’d be assigned as partners together for some project and they’d grow to like each other more and more

Fenriz would make the first move, he’d kiss him and they’d make out

Then he’d ask him out :D

DEFINITELY grumpy sunshine, I couldn’t think of a better duo to represent it 

Fenriz would always make fun of Faust and his (extremely gorgeous and cunning) resting bitch face

He would pout and scowl and just be a little bitchy bitch in general, and Fenriz would always try to make him laugh

But he would eventually crack and lighten up

Ramirez x Graf

I feel like they would be friends since they’re the only metal guys at school

At first, they’d just hang out to have someone to be around, but they would grow to like each other more over time

Ramirez would invite Graf over to his house and he would play with Graf’s hair (and he would always braid it too)

Sometimes he’d put little bows in it (but David would always rip them out despite loving them)

They wouldn’t have any other friends, and everyone would (rightfully) accuse them of dating

They would cut class to make out with each other in the bathroom, and they’d probably get caught quite often too

Ramirez would love taking Graf to parties only to get him drunk and watch all of the other guys force his drunk self into one of the bedrooms to use him 

(After Ramirez slips him a roofie of course!)

Kimgraf

Kim would be painting in art class, Graf would notice how talented he was and compliment him on it

But Kim wouldn’t really care that much at first, and Graf only took the class because he absolutely had to or else he wouldn’t graduate

And he would always sit next to Kim and try to copy whatever he was doing (to no avail)

Sometimes Kim would show him some tips, even putting his hand on David’s to guide it whenever he’d help him

David found it kind of weird that Kim doesn’t really talk, but that would only make him more interested in him

Sometimes, they would go and hang out in the woods after school to smoke since they both loved being outdoors

They’d go to Kim’s house and he would make food for Graf whenever he would stay for dinner

They would end up falling for each other, they give of slow burn vibes

Chrislas (Christian x Niklas)

Niklas would be up Christian for no reason one day, get sent to the office with him to tell the principal what happened, and the principal would give both of them detention

During detention, Christian couldn’t help but notice how Niklas was looking at him…

After, Christian would ask him why he was looking at him like that, he would push him up against the locker and make out with him

After that, Niklas would make it his duty to torment him as much as possible, and Christian would give it right back to him

Over time, Christian would ask why Niklas was bullying him, he’d tell him that he wants to sleep with him

Christian would give in and let him fuck him “just because he wanted the bullying to stop” 

They would be in the boys bathroom cutting class, Niklas would push him up against one of the walls in there

But of course, Because it was Niklas, it wouldn’t be in one of the stalls

And they would probably get caught too. Christian just can’t keep his mouth shut.
