i know that in the avp movie that they were trying for a sort of buff superhero look for the yautja only to go back to the skinnier normal version in avp:r but i like to imagine that scar,chopper and celtic were just huge for no reason .. like they just dwarf every other young blood in their clan

I watched Aliens vs. Predators for the first time last night. And just... AHHHHHHH- WPHOAGAU- Sorry.

Spoilers up ahead.

I loved every fucking character in there. I mean- I could take or leave Colin, he was a bit of dick and didn't listen to Sebastian when he said to leave the plasma casters alone. Then again, neither did Bishop. Which was stupid. But understandable at the same time.

My favorite human characters were probably Alexa Woods and Graeme Miller. I felt so fucking bad for Miller. He was so sweet, and tried to fight off as many of the facehuggers as possible. Seeing him later on with a chest cavity hurt like Hells.

I was so astonished when Scar blooded Woods but was really happy. It was amazing-

POOR CELTIC AND CHOPPER THOUGH. THEY DIDN'T DESERVE TO DIE SO EARLY ON. THEY WERE JUST YOUNGBLOODS. AHHHHHHH. Yes, yes I did cry when both of them died.

I also cried when Scar died. He was my favorite yautja and just- Character in general from the movie. And it was very emotional for me when the queen killed him. ONLY FOR HIM TO HAVE A GODS DAMN CHESTBUSTER POP UP OUT OF NOWHERE.

I cried even more then ... Y'all, I cried a lot during that movie because of emotional attachments towards the yautja race in general.

Okay, but like- I wanna marry Scar. Would bring courting gifts, prove my worth, THE WHOLE NINE YARDS. I loved him so much-

The elder yautja was also fucking amazing. His design was astonishing. And the fact he gave Alexa a Ki'its-pa was fucking awesome. And it kinda felt like he had a lot more respect for her because she was blooded by Scar.

All in all, I FUCKING LOVED IT. Amazing movie right there. Just hate how many deaths there were.
