Personality Traits: As an INTJ, often referred to as ‘The Architect’, Luna embodies a unique blend of intelligence, strategic thinking, and an independent spirit. Her personality reflects a deep understanding of the world around her, often viewing situations through a logical and analytical lens. This makes her an exceptional problem-solver, able to assess challenges and devise effective solutions with ease.
Growing up in Kensington, London, Luna was immersed in a world of creativity and intellect. As an only child of a retired ballerina and an anthropologist, she was exposed to the arts and sciences from a young age. Her mother encouraged her to pursue ballet, starting lessons at the age of three. This early training not only honed her physical abilities but also instilled in her a sense of discipline and dedication. However, Luna often felt the pressure to excel, which led to her developing a strong work ethic and perfectionist tendencies.
Despite her outward confidence, Luna struggled with feelings of isolation. Her intimidating features and talent sometimes made it hard for her to connect with her peers, leading her to seek solace in books, art, and music. These experiences nurtured her introspective side, allowing her to develop a rich inner world filled with creativity and imagination.
During her training period, Luna’s INTJ traits truly shone. Her analytical mind enabled her to quickly grasp complex choreography and vocal techniques, allowing her to excel in evaluations. She was often dubbed the ‘Ace’ among her fellow trainees for her versatility and ability to adapt to various tasks effortlessly. However, this did not come without challenges; she faced moments of great pressure to live up to the title and of self-doubt, particularly in a competitive environment where she felt the weight of expectations.
Luna’s leadership qualities emerged during her training, as she often took the initiative to help fellow trainees improve. Her strategic mindset allowed her to navigate the often chaotic training schedule, and she quickly learned to manipulate situations to her advantage, especially during group activities or evaluations. While she maintained a somewhat aloof demeanor, her ability to connect with her peers through shared interests— such as crafts with Joshua or dance challenges with Hoshi— showed her capacity for forming meaningful relationships.
Now as a world known idol, Luna’s INTJ personality manifests in her strong presence and charisma on stage. She is known for her meticulous approach to performances, carefully analyzing each aspect of her shows to ensure they are executed flawlessly. Her strategic thinking allows her to anticipate audience reactions, making her a master at captivating crowds.
Luna’s intelligence also extends to her interactions with fans and the media. She navigates interviews and public appearances with ease, often using her wit and charm to leave a lasting impression. However, she remains somewhat guarded, finding it challenging to open up fully about her feelings, particularly in the context of her somewhat complicated relationship with Jeonghan.
While she is often seen as intimidating due to her ‘resting bitch face’, those who take the time to know her discover her warmth and loyalty. She is protective of her fellow members, particularly the youngest ones, and values the deep connections she has formed within the group. Luna’s ability to balance her independent spirit with her caring nature makes her a unique and multi-faceted character in the K-Pop industry.
Positive Traits: Independent, disciplined, versatile, charismatic, protective, strategic, analytical, ambitious, intelligent, loyal
Negative Traits: Perfectionist, aloof, stubborn, overly critical, reserved
╰ ౨ৎ HISTORY
1997-2011: Luna was born in Kensington, London, into a well-off family that nurtured her artistic inclinations. Her mother, a retired ballerina, introduced her to the world of dance, leading Luna to begin ballet training at the tender age of three. This early exposure fostered her love for performing arts and instilled a strong work ethic in her. Academically gifted, she attended Southbank International School Kensington, where she excelled in her studies and developed a deep passion for music. Despite her wonderful childhood, Luna often felt isolated due to her personality, seeking solace in her artistic pursuits and immersing herself in the creativity that surrounded her.
2011-2012: At the age of fourteen, Luna made the pivotal decision to move back to Seoul, South Korea, to pursue her dream of becoming an idol. This transition marked a significant change in her life, as she entered the competitive world of K-Pop. She initially trained at YG Entertainment for a year, where she faced the rigors of idol training and learned to adapt to the intense environment. Throughout this time, she was constantly approached by PLEDIS Entertainment, a smaller company that offered her a chance to further her dreams. After much consideration, Luna trusted her instincts and made the bold decision to switch companies, believing it would ultimately lead her closer to her goals. She has mentioned in an interview that her leaving a huge and well known company for a smaller one was one of the riskiest thing she has ever done and yet she does not regret it.
2013-2015: Luna trained for another two years at PLEDIS Entertainment, honing her skills as a lead vocalist in preparation for her debut. During this time, she faced various challenges, including rigorous practice schedules and the pressure to excel among her peers. However, her determination and talent shone through, allowing her to form strong bonds with the other trainees. She was supposed to either debut in a girl group or as a solo artist, however, in 2015, Luna finally achieved her dream of debuting as a member of the co-ed band SEVENTEEN, alongside thirteen talented male members. This milestone marked the beginning of her journey in the spotlight, showcasing her versatility and dedication as an artist.
2015-Present: Since her debut, Luna's life as an idol has been a rollercoaster ride filled with both challenges and triumphs. She has navigated the ups and downs of the entertainment industry, facing public scrutiny and the pressures of fame. Despite these obstacles, the joy of being with her fellow members, whom she considers family, has been a constant source of strength. Together, they have achieved remarkable success, creating unforgettable memories and sharing their passion for music with fans worldwide. Luna's perseverance and commitment to her craft continue to drive her as she embraces the journey of an idol, always striving to achieve her goals and dreams.

Their entire body is covered in traditional black and white and colored Embera and Baniwa Indigenous Colombian and Chorote Indigenous of Bolivia and Argentina Amerindian of South America tattoos.
Their entire body is covered in traditional colored and black and white Polynesian Hawaiian, Samoan, Marquesan, and Tongan Indigenous Pasifika tattoos. These black and white traditional Indigenous Pasifika tattoos are ethereal and glow silver, gold, cerulean, jade, scarlet, purple, & black as a Pasifika demigod and later divine god/goddess.
Samoan style features rectilinear, geometrical, and repetitive tattoos. They are highly symmetrical body sides. Hawaiian style tattoos feature highly geometric tattoos that are often based on repetition. The male version can include solid areas while the female version is much lighter.  Tongan style tattoos are often tattooed from the waist down to the knees in geometric patterns of repeated triangle motifs, bands, and sections of solid black.
Tonga has some of the oldest evidence of Polynesian tattoos based on the fact it was settled first by the Austronesians before the other Polynesian islands. Not only are they some of the oldest but they have a distinct tattooing style compared to other Polynesian people. Tongan warriors are often tattooed from the waist down to the knees in geometric patterns of repeated triangle motifs, bands, and sections of solid black. For the Tongan people the tattoo carried profound social and cultural significance. Women would have similar designs, but with more delicate floral patterns on their hands and lower parts.
Hawai’i was settled around 800 years ago. The tattoo traditions there were similar to the full-body Marquesan tattoos. However, the Hawaiian Kanaka Maoli quickly developed their own unique variations through designs. One characteristic of Hawaiian tattoos is the asymmetry across both sides of the body. As the right side of the body was a solid black and gave spiritual projection to their wearers. This practice was called Kakay I ka uhi.
Historically there was no writing in Polynesian culture. So the Polynesian’s used tattoo art that was full of distinctive signs to express their identity and personality. Tattoos would indicate status in a hierarchical society as well as sexual maturity, genealogy, and ones rank within the society. Nearly everyone in ancient Polynesian society was tattooed. It was in Tonga and Samoa that the Polynesian tattoo developed into a highly refined art.
In ancient Samoa, tattooing also played a hugely important role in both religious rituals and warfare. The tattoo artist held a hereditary and by the same vein. It is a very highly privileged position. He usually tattooed groups of six to eight (usually men) during a ceremony attended by friends and relatives. The Samoan warrior’s tattoo began at the waist and extended to just below the knee.
These were also covered in magical esoteric or arcane and divine demigod tattoos that blazed crimson, amethyst, sapphire, gold, and silver as a mahu demigod of mist and fog who was later bestowed full godhood, divinity, & immortality as a god/goddess of storm.
Depending on where a tattoo was placed on the body, the wearer would be calling for a particular spiritual boom to help lead them through life.
The head is said to be the contact point to Rangi so it is related to themes such as spirituality, knowledge, wisdom, and intuition.
They were on his/her/their chest because in the Polynesian culture Polynesian tattoos on the chest represent kindness, honesty, honor, & resolution. They were on his/her/their head because in the Polynesian culture Polynesian tattoos on the head represent spirituality, knowledge, wisdom, & intuition. He/she/they had Polynesian tattoos on his/her/their arms. He/she/they had Polynesian tattoos on his/her/their upper arms from his/her/their shoulders to his/her/their elbow to represent strength and valor and they relate to people such as warriors, warchiefs, & chieftains.
He/she/they wear it as a child of a chieftain and warchief who is next in line. He/she/they had Polynesian tattoos on his/her/their lower arms from their forearms to their fingertips of his/her/their clawed hands with opposable thumbs to represent creativity, creation and making things. This area is from just above the navel to the chest and is related to themes such as generosity, sincerity, honor, and reconciliation. Some may have noticed that this area is placed directly between Rangi and Papa, in order to have harmony between them balance must exist in this area.
Lower body. This area goes from the thighs to the navel. This part of the body directly relates to life’s energy, courage, procreation, independence, and sexuality. In particular, thighs relate to strength and marriage. The stomach or mid area is where mana originates from. The navel represents independence due to the symbolic meaning associated with the cutting of the umbilical cord. Independence is a trait that is valued highly in Polynesian society however individualism is not. All people depending on the sea for sustenance know the importance of sociality and socializing. Polynesian people built their culture around this. Family thus becomes a larger group of people that includes all relatives, friends and neighbors. All of which play an important role.
Joints often represent union and contact. If we look at the body as a reflection of society. We can understand why joints, being the points where different bones meet represent different degrees of relation between individuals. The farther from the head (the chief of the family) the greater the distance in kinship, or the lower the status. Ankles and wrists represent a tie and bracelets placed there often symbolizes commitment. Knees are often related to chiefs (to kneel before them). He/she/they were High King/High Queen and Chieftain and Warchief of several kingdoms as a demigod metahuman and alien hybrid superhuman.
The same word is used to refer both to leg and foot. Legs and feet represent moving forward, transformation, and progress. They are also related to separation and choice. The feet, being our contact with Papa, Mother Nature, are also related to concreteness and material matters.
Human figures otherwise known as enata in Marquesan language represent men, women, and sometimes gods. They can be placed within a tattoo to represent people and their relations. If they are placed upside down then they can be used to represent defeated enemies. A common motif is an enata symbol which is the depiction of a human figure. If this symbol has a row of people, this means that the ancestors are watching over the wearer. Over-stylised enata joined together in a row of people holding hands form the motif called ani ata, which translates to “cloudy sky”. Polynesian languages and a row of enata in a semi-circular form often represent the sky as well as the ancestors guarding their descendants. This symbolizes elders, ancestors, and family deities.
He/she/they had Polynesian tattoos of complex shark teeth. Shark teeth or niho mano deserve a space of their own. Sharks are one of the favorite forms that aumakua choose to appear to man. They represent defense, leadership, power, & ferocity. However they are also symbols of flexibility in many cultures.  It was fitting for the strike team commander of the Elites, Paragons, & Sentinels superhero conglomerates that defend the planet, star systems, galaxy, & universe. Another common motif is the triangle shark teeth band which means protection, guidance, and strength.
A spearhead means the wearer is a strong warrior. He/she/they had Polynesian tattoos of a pattern of spearheads. Another typical symbol that is used to represent warrior nature is the spear. Fitting for a former super soldier who fought since he/she/they were a child as a former demigod metahuman and alien hybrid superhuman child soldier. Spear-heads are very symbolic in relation to sharp items too and they can be used to represent the sting of some animals.
He/she/they had Polynesian stylized tattoos of the ocean. The ocean is a second home to Polynesian people and the place of rest when they leave for their last voyage. Coincidentally, turtles are said to join the deceased guiding them to their destinations. So sometimes the ocean can be used to symbolize death and the beyond. Since the ocean is the primary source of food it is no wonder it impacts so much tradition and myth. All the creatures living in the ocean are associated with several meanings usually mutated from their characteristic traits and habits.
The ocean and the sea can be represented by waves. The stylizations of the ocean can often represent ideas such as life, change and continuity through change. Waves can also be used to represent the world beyond or the place where the departed go and rest on their last voyage. An ocean design with a curved circle is significant because it represents the second home of Polynesian people. The sea is regarded as the place people go to rest and die. When the ocean motif is part of a tattoo, it represents life, change, and progress through change.
Francisco/Francisca he/she/they had a Polynesian tattoo of a Tiki. One meaning of the word tiki is figure. So tiki is the name given to human-like figures that usually represent demigods contrasting to atua who frequently materialize to men under the shape of animals such as lizards. The tiki can also represent sanctified ancestors, priests, warchiefs, & chieftains who became demigods after their passing. They denote protection, fertility and they serve as sentinels. By stylizing the figure over and over there has been a simplified version that has been reached.
This is called the brilliant eye where the eyes, nostrils and ears appear to be the prominent elements. Tiki figures can be portrayed in a front view. Sometimes with their tongue stretched out as a symbol of defiance to enemies. The tiki design is a famous Polynesian tattoo design that comes in the form of human-like faces. They are often received as semi-gods or deified ancestors, such as chiefs or priests. This symbolizes past kings, queens, chieftains, & warchief in his/her/their family, clan, & nation. They are symbols of protection, fertility and are guardians over the wearers.
He/she/they had a Polynesian tattoo of a turtle. The turtle or honu is another significant creature throughout all Polynesian cultures and has been connected with several meanings. The first being the fact that turtles represent health, fertility, longevity, foundation, tranquility, & rest. The word hono, meaning turtle in Marquesan language has other meanings which include things such as joining and stitching together families and representing the idea of harmony.
Contrary to what is sometimes believed, turtles drawn upwards do not imply that they are taking the soul of a dead person into the other world. To represent this, a human figure must be placed on or near the shell of the turtle. The turtle, which means good health, fertility, long life, peace, and rest. When this symbol is repeated, it hopes to bring families together.
He/she/they had a Polynesian tattoo of a lizard. Lizards and geckos are often called mo’o or moko and they play a significant role in Polynesian myth. Gods (atua) and minor spirits often appeared to men in the form of lizards and this may explain why the stylized element used to represent the lizard is very similar to the stylized symbol used to represent man. Lizards are very powerful creatures that bring good luck and communicate between the humans and the gods and who can access the invisible world. On the other hand they can also bring death and bad omens to people who are disrespectful. The lizard, which signifies spirits and gods bridging the mortal and spirit worlds. They are all-in-all good luck charms but might lead to ill-omens if disrespected.
He/she/they had a Polynesian tattoo of a stingray. Stingray tattoos come in several variations and styles. So this image can hold symbolic meanings. The stingray has the ability to hide in the underwater sands mainly from sharks and is able to cover up with sand and lay still. Most sharks can sense prey in the sand based on movement but for the most part the stingray is able to hide. For this reason its image is classed as a symbol of protection.
Other themes that go hand in hand with the sting-ray image are adaptation, gracefulness, diplomacy, danger, dexterity, speed, & covertness. Fitting for someone who is a shapeshifter, metamorph, & changeling. The tattoos themselves are imbued with divine power as a water demigod and they boost their hydrokinesis as a demigod of the seas and give them command over the seas and aquatic life.
Body art in the volcanic Marquesas dates back to at least the late 1500s. Sailors traveling to the islands over the centuries have helped spread the popularity of tattoos worldwide.
Marquesas, tattoos go beyond ornamental gestures, communicating a specific societal status, paying tribute to legendary heroes or sacred locations, and signifying the offer of protection or fertility.
It’s typical for Marquesan body art to cover the face or head. They stretch all the way down to the feet. In elaborate designs made up of meaningful spirals, bullseyes, crossed lines, geometric shapes, animals, and thick bands of ink alternating with decorative borders. But while the islands' tattoos come in all kinds of styles. Marquesas tradition stands out for its immensely intricate patterns and darkly shaded designs that can take a lifetime to complete.
Around the islands, getting a specific kind of tattoo often depended on the role the wearer plays in the local society. For example, warriors might wear spiral shapes around their eyes and chiefs might get spirals on their cheeks or thighs. Women traditionally received tattoos on their right hands by puberty, to signal they were ready to prepare certain foods and to apply coconut oil to the bodies of the deceased.
Members of certain tribal communities often chose their own distinct patterns. As extensive tattooing can be long, painful and costly. The inking might signal courage, endurance, wealth or even age. Since locals would typically add to their tattoos throughout their lives.
Getting a tattoo in the traditional Marquesan culture wasn't just a matter of making an appointment with an artist and laying still for a few hours. The elaborate, weeks-long or even months-long ritual of receiving that first set of tattoos often involved the entire community. In wealthy families, the firstborn son (opou) began at adolescence. Kicking off an expensive process that started with building a special house on the family’s property for the tattoo artists to live and work in. Also cooking for them during their entire stay.
The accolades told through traditional divine alien and futuristic tattoos and facepaint for the Asian Pasifika/Afro Latine Native main character as a changeling and shapeshifter has ever changing tattoos that correlate with divine, martial, spiritual, & military accomplishments, deeds, accolades, and achievements.
They have scientific achievements as a scientist, inventor, and engineer in magical and alien archeology, anthropology, biology, chemistry, marine biology, paleontology, psychology, sociology, and zoology. They have artistic accolades as an artist and creator.
They have martial accomplishments as a warrior trained in unarmed combat, ranged weaponry, and melee weaponry. They have military accolades as an officer, soldier, & commander who was a former super soldier in the space military of the federation of the Milky Way, Andromeda, and Zenith galaxy. Heroic and villainous accomplishments as a superhero, antihero, and villain at different points because of free will, necessity, or mind control and being a commander of a cosmic superhero conglomerate.
They have leadership deeds as a high king/high queen of a federation of kingdoms and chieftain and war chief of Mu or Hawaiki that’s like Themyscira, Asgard, or Wakanda but for indigenous pasifika demigods and alien hybrid superheroes. They have spiritual accolades as a mahu fakaleiti pasifika third gender elder and healer for clan and nation.
They have divine accolades as someone born a demigod bestowed divinity as a hero and champion and later ascended to titanancy because *** (spoken in celestial speech to hide from mortal tongue). They have accolades as an alien hybrid. Demigod and alien hybrid as a metahuman and superhuman so long lifespan if not for scientific advances that prologues lifespans for centuries for regular humans too. They were not immortal and wouldn’t choose to be either before ascending to godhood and titanancy that is. God killing weapons exist as well as weapons that can negate powers of metahumans and super humans. Has died before when was still mortal as a demigod several times.
The Afro Latine main character is also connected through their piercings and regalia including jewelry like magically and futuristically influenced rings, bracelets, necklaces, and headdresses. A cyborg or bionic have futuristic holographic tattoos to reflect certain accolades as a transhuman that a non augmented futuristic human has. It’s embedded underneath the skin as opposed to those that are just on the skin of regular humans. Their tattoos reflect not only their accolades but maybe from a specific region that they’re from.
They have bionic implants and cybernetic enhancements where the cybernetic and bionic parts open up and are upgradable and customizable. They have a bionic arm and cybernetic eye as someone who’s a former super soldier war veteran. They have a military grade version for combat vs regular grade bionic arm and eye for regular things for accessibility as a visible disabled person. Tattoos and specialized parts are from certain regions or companies. Prestige parts that are granted only after winning a contest or completing a mission. The main character has opposing versions of traditional native tattoo accolades across their body as a creator, healer, diplomat, liberator, artist, destroyer, killer, conqueror, etc that they both feel happy, angry, and sad over.
Part of the bad was when they were forced against their will to become a child soldier. After being captured by metahuman and superhuman traffickers after they were blackbirded from the now independent Hawaiian kingdom by the earth colonial military. Part of the bad when they were mind controlled to become a super villain or forced by circumstances to become an antihero. All of these fit on their body as a shapeshifter because their form changes if they are in alien hybrid form demigod form as well as kane masc form, vahine femme form, mahu/fakaleiti third gender form, or genderless or androgynous gender form to reflect their gender and gender identity.
Jewelry:
Ryuu/Haruka wore traditional Samoan, Tongan, Marquesan, & Hawaiian headdresses, necklaces, bracelets, rings, & belts as jewelry.
He/she/they had a Toki (Adze) Polynesian Maori necklace. The Toki (Adze) is the Maori tribal emblem of strength. This symbol resembles resolve, control, power, focus, & honor.” “Its shape represents an axe head. The Toki (adze) was used by the Maori as an everyday working tool for shaving and chipping. Sometimes it was used as a weapon. Unique complex adzes were by tradition carved in stone and passed down as an heirloom. The Toki had much meaning to the Maori created from stone or greenstone. It was a vital tool for survival and day to day life of a Maori tribe.
So this was given to him/her/them by an Atlantean King and Polynesian Maori Indigenous Pasifika Chieftain and Warchief means a lot to him/her/them. That’s the reason the Maori attribute the spiritual meaning of strength and power to the Toki. This design represents the Toki which was used to shape the great canoes. The toki was also used to cut and work timber for the fortresses where the Maori lived. It was such an important tool in Maori life that it became regarded as a symbol of power, authority & good character. It was given to them by the King and Chieftain and Warchief as a sign of respect as he/she/they are a King/Queen and Chieftain and Warchief. It is also the mark of a craftsman and an artist.
He/she/they also have a necklace of Hei-Matau (Fish Hook) given to them by an Atlantean Queen and Polynesian Maori Indigenous Pasifika Chieftain and Warchief. These very stylized fish hooks represent power, affluence, wealth, fertility. It also represents vast reverence for the sea. This makes sense since he/she/they are the last scion and lord/lady of his/her/their ancient and powerful house. It also is said to provide good luck and safety when traveling over water so is often worn by travelers. The Hei-Matau are also symbols of authority and power which are held in great veneration by the Maori people. They were used as a practical tool for fishing and were often adorned as a sign of admiration for the creatures of the sea.
There are many styles of Hei-Matau from the true hook designs to the more decorative styles which became cherished heirlooms for generations after. Initially the Maori have been fishermen. Their main food source was the sea so a fish hook of premium was a valued item to possess. Worn around the neck the hook became a symbol of wealth, abundance, good health, authority, & power. As well as a mark of reverence for the sea and its life in it. It is also believed to provide good luck and protection while traveling over water. The Maori fish hook symbol refers to being reliant on the sea for their food gathering. The matau is a talisman for good luck.
He/she/they also had a bracelet of whales, dolphins, & turtles. The ocean has always been the prevailing force for the Maori people who traveled colossal distances in their long canoes and lived on the gift of the tropical waters. They had a great respect for the creatures on the sea and in particular dolphins and whales. The whale with its immense size and evident intelligence played an essential part in the traditions of the Maori people.
They were often represented as an example of family love with mother and calf always side by side and touching at every opportunity. Beached whales were cherished as gifts from the gods. They were chiefly valued for the bone which after numerous years of curing was used to carve elaborate jewelry and art works that were frequently passed down for many generations. The whale is the most important animal in the life of the Maori. Besides speed and strength the whale also represents success, confidence, and sensitivity. It represents the bond between animal and human.
A dolphin (Papahu) is an emblem of liveliness, harmony, & camaraderie. The turtle is the mark of a navigator. The dolphin is another Maori symbol of protection. Schools of dolphins were reported to attack sharks circling around canoes. The dolphin shows sympathy with the sea and nature in general. It resembles a free spirit. Nowadays the dolphin represents protection on all types of travelers. So it is another Maori symbol of protection.
He/she/they had the jewelry of the symbol of the Koropepe (The Mythical Eel/Fish). The Koropepe is an eel-type fish and a legendary guardian. It is a symbol of new beginnings and youth, prosperity, & wealth. The koropepe is thought to characterize the curled eel which was one of the main protein sources hundreds of years back in Maori history. Many koropepe have a coiled appearance with bird-like heads. These heads are said to possess its divine power. The design is a relatively modern form as no ancient examples have been found.
He/she/they had jewelry of the White Heron bird (Kotuku). Kotuku is the Maori word for the rare White Heron bird. It is a symbol of status, purity, & individuality. One of the greatest compliments among the Maori was to liken someone to Kotuku. For it signifies everything extraordinary and gorgeous. It is sometimes referred to as a darling or treasure. The kotuku is one of New Zealand’s rarest birds and is held in chiefly high regard in Maori mythology. As with other birds the kotuku stands for the connection between the afterlife.
He is a messenger of the spirit world. The kotuku represents everything pure and beautiful in Maori legends and oratory. Most importantly the kotuku represents all the people of this land. The kotuku is a traveler who came to this beautiful country and chose to stay. There are more Maori bird symbols such as the huia, kaka, & torea.
He/she/they finally wear a bracelet of the huia bird of which the long feathers were used as hair adornments by Maori chiefs and notables. As King/Queen, Chieftain and Warchief, & as President/Madam President who is the ruler and sovereign of a few countries on several alien planets, moons, & asteroids they wear the long feathers of this Maori bird in their headdress. Intricately carved wooden treasure boxes used to store the huia bird feathers are a characteristic form of Maori art work.
He/she/they had jewelry of a Tiki. One of the most fashionable and most identifiable Maori symbols. The Tiki is symbolic for the whole Polynesian hemisphere. It is the insignia of Polynesian cultures from Hawaii to Tahiti, to Samoa, & to New Zealand. According to folklore tiki was the first man on earth who originated from the stars. According to myth tiki was the first mortal person who created the first woman after his image. The literal meaning of the tiki symbol is disputed. There are several opinions but the most acknowledged are that tiki stands for fertility.
The regularly occurring hands placed on the groin are a direct reference to fertility. Tiki is a good luck charm meant to keep evil spirits away. Other theories state that tiki represents the human embryo. The Maori god Tiki who was considered responsible for the creation of life. The Tiki is a very primordial symbol and is by far the least understood so there are a number of legends about its meaning. Some say he came from the stars and that he was the first man of the world. He is also often depicted with webbed feet which suggest a strong connection to the creatures of the sea. Tiki was respected as the instructor of all things and the wearer of this symbol is therefore seen to possess clarity of thought, devotion, great inner knowledge and strength of character. The Tiki is regarded as a good luck charm when worn and in some areas is also regarded as a fertility symbol.
He/she/they have a necklace of Koru (Spiral). Koru is the Maori word for “bight” or “loop” and refers to new shoots of the silver fern. The spiral shaped koru design is derived from this unfolding silver fern frond.” The circular movement towards an inner coil refers to going back to the beginning. The unfurling frond itself is symbolic of new life, new beginnings, optimism, precision, regeneration, a new start, awakening, personal growth, purity, nurturing, a new phase in life, the spirit of innovation, & tranquility.
The koru design is repeatedly worn as a Maori necklace but present in many cultural expressions. It is a fundamental symbol in Maori art forms. Both on itself as well as integrated in more intricate designs such as carvings and Maori facial tattoos. The spiral is a Koru that represents the fern frond as it opens bringing new life and purity to the world. It also represents peace, tranquility, & spirituality as well as a strong sense of regrowth or new beginnings. The Koru is also often associated with nurturing so when interlocked with others is frequently used to represent the strength and purity of a loving relationship within a family.
He/she/they had a necklace of a circle (Porowhita). The closed circle is said to embody the circle of life which has no beginning or end. It also tells of the stars and planets which are part of the circle of life and contain the information of our origins. It is often used to enclose other elements such as the Koru linking love and new life or new beginnings with the circle of life.
For an artist like Alexander Mack Smith/Alexandria Macy Smith the circle represents the relationship or oneness between the artist and his/her/their craft bringing together head, hand, & heart. The closed circle with a hole in between represents the never-ending circle of life and nature. It also stands for the belief that life has no beginning or end. Both the spiral and the circle are also described as a metaphor for a never-ending journey of discovery and rediscovery. The journey itself with its aboriginal or Indigenous perspectives and sense of direction is the most important act of cultural convalescence. It reflects the importance of being on the move in the present while realizing that the path of tradition is a two-way track. It points concurrently in the present, towards the past, & towards the future.
He/she/they have a necklace of a twist. The twist with the interweave form represents the many paths of life and love and as such is regarded as the primordial infinity symbol. The single twist or Pikorua (Single Twist) in particular shows the union together of two people for eternity even though they sometimes move away from each other on their own journeys. They will always come together again sharing their lives and blending to become one.
It tells how the strength of the bond of friendship, devotion, & love will last forever. The Maori single twist symbol consists of a closed loop with three knots. Pikorua as the Maori name this symbol refers to eternal emerging paths in life. The double and triple twists have a comparable meaning but refer more to the fusion of two peoples or cultures rather than individuals. They also refer to the three baskets of knowledge. They were given an eight shaped single twist when he/she/they as someone polyam, queer, & trans married his/her/their Indigenous Pasifika wives.
They were married by their childhood friends, two Polynesian Indigenous Pasifika Atlantean hybrids. These Polynesian Indigenous Pasifika people who married them were European British Polynesian Maori Chieftain and Warchief and Atlantean King Arapeta William Rewi and his wife a Polynesian Indigenous Pasifika Atlantean hybrid. It is something that Alexander/Alexandria and his/her/their Polynesian, Micronesian, & Melanesian wives, partners, & spouses treasure, especially after being married for decades, centuries, & even millennia as metahumans and superhumans in a polyamorous union. The eight-shaped single twist denotes the power of the bond between two people, their loyalty & friendship. It signifies the sacred merger of two people for eternity. Although people will take different paths in their lives they will always be connected and will return to each other. The twist is a powerful statement of loyalty, friendship, and love.
Teardrop or roimata designates healing and console, hope, & optimistic energy. It is often called a comfort stone. The drop is a stylized version of the toki and signifies strength, power, pride, & independence. The core meaning of the teardrop is speed and strength. It indicates the support often shown by dolphins and whales to humans in anguish. So therefore, it is a symbol of protection but also of speed, power, & compassion. It represents the bond between animal and human. It expresses respect for the sea and nature. It is also a good luck charm providing safe passage over water.
They have rings, bracelets, & necklaces made out of magical wood and alien metal.

Tumblr media
“Sweetheart, don’t look now, but I think we have bedbugs again,” Peter grumbled as he layered a sweet kiss onto the corner of my eye.
“Mmmmm…” I hummed as I welcomed four little bedbugs- Elizabeth, Elle, Katie and Jing- to crawl up between the two of us, clucking softly to warn them to be careful of their brother, who spent the night in between his mommy and daddy. “Good morning girls.”
“Good morning mommy! Good morning daddy! Good morning Baby Tommy!” Katie chirped happily as she tucked herself and Jing in tightly to my husband’s side, Elizabeth and Elle doing the same to me.
“Good morning girls,” I greeted them with a motherly smile. “To what do we account your morning cuddles too?”
“We saw how worried you were yesterday when Baby Tommy was accidently locked into daddy’s car yesterday,” Elizabeth told me.
“And we knew that you needed huggies in the morning!” Katie finished her sister’s sentence. “And here we are now!”
A choked sob bubbled out of me as I crushed Elle to me.
“Oh bless you both,” I whimpered out in an emotional tone. “I couldn’t ask for better girls than you.”
I knew that Peter felt a terrible guilt at accidently locking our son into his car, but I couldn’t fault him any- he had been excited to see what the girls had bought for their upcoming adventures in the fourth grade.
“What classes do you girls want to take this year as electives?” he asked them.
“I’m taking Chinese calligraphy, Mandrene Chinese, Norse history and music!” Katie said with all the confidence of a nine year old in Iron Man pajamas.
“That does sounds like fun!” Peter told her. “And you? What classes will you take Bitty?”
“Music, sewing, veterinarian studies and social media management,” Elizabeth meeped excitedly.
“Social media management…?” he asked, clearly confused. “That’s a class at Saint Michael’s?”
“I really want to start up a YouTube channel and post videos of me playing mommy’s harp and talking about living with Alopecia,” she explained with a shrug. “There really isn’t much along the way of harp music out there.”
“It’s basically a way for kids to learn how to stay safe online,” I told him, reaching across to braid my fingers into his loose hair. “It looks like something Elizabeth will need to learn. After all, she is the daughter of a famous rock star!”
“And she is also the daughter of a fantastic Broadway super mom,” he chuckled, shuffling in closer to press our noses together.
“I really want to take the class too, but I can’t math,” Katie confessed. “Like at all. The numbers just get all wiggly and scrambly.”
“Katie, how are you able to maintain good grade in math?” I asked her, tucking away her difficulties in math for me to ask the doctor.
“I get extra time to do my schoolwork as a part of my IEP,” she shrugged. “So I get extra time to make sure that my answers are correct.”
“Oh okay,” I hummed. “You know something, I had a lot of trouble with math in school. The school thought I had dyscalculia at one point honestly.”
“But you got into Julliard’s!” Peter pointed out.
“I took extra tutoring after school,” I shrugged. “Besides, Julliard’s doesn’t teach math, the college teaches acting and music on two different campuses.”
“Ah, that makes sense,” he blinked before sitting up and swinging his legs up out of bed. “I’m going to work out some. Feel free to join me if you want.”
“Mommy needs us right now daddy,” Katie insisted, Elizabeth and Elle coming over to my other side and sandwiching me in with their daughterly love.
“Sweet babies,” I cooed as I settled myself back to get a bit more sleep, Baby Tommy crawling over to me and cuddling into my chest.
“Mamamamamamama…” he babbled softly, curling his fingers into my wild morning curls. “Mamamamamamama…”
“Love you kids,” I murmured as I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
 ~xoXox~
For much of the day, Elizabeth and Katie spent their time neatly arranging their backpacks for their first day back at school in two weeks. They did that while Baby Tommy and I had a day of endless snuggles. Peter puttered around, with Daisy and Mittens keeping a close eye on the younger members of the Ratajczyk family.
“Are you girls ready for school yet?” I called out in a teasing tone of voice, laughter dancing in my eyes as Katie dumped out her backpack before beginning to repack her school supplies for the dozenth time.
“Almost!” giggled Katie excitedly. “I can’t wait!”
“Sweetheart, the girls have mail!” Peter called out as he entered the house from the garage, having made a trip into town to grab our mail from the post office.
“Yay!” Elizabeth cheered as her father came in carrying two boxes under his arms.
The girls tore into their mail, uncovering new basic school clothes- shoes, underwear, and lightweight sweaters in their favorite colors. I got them the basics because the two girls had been holed up in my study, producing stylist clothes off from Elizabeth’s sewing machine.
“Mommy? Can you show Lizz Lizz and me how to work your Cricut machine and your Glow Forge?” Katie meeped over dinner later that night. “We want to make our own jewelry!”
“I don’t see why not,” I hummed as I took a bite of my steak. “Tomorrow though- I’m tired and really want a good night’s sleep.”
“How can you be tired? You didn’t do anything all day today!” Katie pointed out as she pushed her now empty plate off in front of her, signaling that she was done eating.
“It’s just something that happens a lot of them time when my mind starts spinning uncontrollably,” I told her in a gentle tone of voice, allowing her to step into my side and wrap her arms around my neck.
“Oh okay. I don’t understand it, but I love you, mommy.” She kissed my cheek before taking her plate into the kitchen to be washed off and stuck into the dishwasher.
“Mamamamamamama…” sleepily babbled Baby Tommy, almost sound asleep in my arms. “Mamamamamamama…”
“Oh, are you sleepy now Baby Tommy?” I cooed. “Come on, let’s tuck you into bed.”
“I’ll help sweetheart!” Peter offered me, asking if the girls needed any help.
“Nope, we got it under control daddy,” Elizabeth told him, taking up a towel as she got ready to wash the dishes. “You take mommy and Baby Tommy up to bed now.”
“Okay,” he hummed before ushering me up to our bedroom for the night.

TW: Death
Out of the three Manoban children, it was Amara who was born away from home. At the time, health complications had forced Chaeo away from her other two children. Sadly, only one of them would return in Thailand where the children where put under the care of their grandmother until they were of an age where they could be sent away and get the best education their father could afford.
Sent in boarding schools in France only made the siblings come closer. No matter what, it was them against the world, though Amara never understood why their dad always favoured her brothers ( and even though at some point she understood why ) she never held that against them. They went to the best schools, had everything they needed and more but lacked one thing; the warmth.
When her brothers moved back to Thailand to help their father with the company, Amara followed a year later in hopes they could embrace her and accept her ideas. Little did she know, that not only their dad wasn’t interested, but he seemed to appreciate his new wife’s ideas more. Taking the decision to just move on and do what she loves, Amara picked up her camera and did what she knew best; started taking photos and created a blog to help travellers with their trips in Asia.
To this day, Amara is helping her brothers in secret with ideas, or issues in the company. They take the credit -- but she’s happy knowing they count on her and care for her opinion.
❨--𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 ∖❩
It was during one of these trips, when she met Klaus. ( @klcus ) A coffee accident at the airport was embarrassing enough, but Amara never expected to see that same guy on the same plane as the pilot. The same pilot that sent her a complimentary coffee as a way to apologise -- and asked her out for dinner.
The same pilot that for the past three years, had been a constant in her life. Klaus quickly became her best friend, the reason behind her smile. Making plans to travel all over the world, where they could be together, taking photos and enjoying their time together was one of their dreams.
But all good things to an end... or at least that is the feelings Amara had for a couple of months. It first started with missed texts and calls, missed dinners, not having enough time to show up and go on a date or stay over for a few days to see her. What was the cherry on top, was when he missed her birthday -- all because of work. Gathering the few belongings she had to his place, Amara distanced herself.
Still, ending things with Klaus without giving him another chance, never crossed her mind. As confusing as it was, she agreed on making it to the WILL THEY OR WON’T THEY in hopes to make it work.

TW: CHILD ABANDONMENT / ADOPTION /  CANCER / DEATH
Born in Nanjing, China, Maya was one of the many babies abandoned because of the one child policy. Of course, she was considered one of the lucky ones, as whoever gave her away that cold December night, had chosen a state orphanage to become the newborn’s new home. Known for the relatively better conditions, Maya stood lucky for a second time -- as she never came to know the hardships of of orphanage life. When she was only a few months old, the Lee family traveled to China, in hopes of adopting a child and baby Maya captured their heart; coming back to the United States as a family of three. In the years to follow, the Lees would adopt four more children, completing their dreams of a large happy family.
Ever since she could remember herself, Maya was happy. The Lees were devoted parents, trying to teach their children how blood was not all a family needed to be complete and in a great extend, they achieved exactly that. Growing up with strong values, Maya and her sisters would also attend Chinese school three times a week, as their parents wanted to make sure that the girls would have a better understanding about were they came from; as well as the right tools if they ever decided to find their birth parents. A big part of their life was all about accepting their past, and embracing their future. Everything came crushing down, when Maya was sixteen and her father was diagnosed with cancer. That didn’t seem to break the family dynamic, as the doctors were optimistic. Paul was strong, he was young -- he would make it. And truly, he fought the disease for years, seeing two of his girls graduating with honours and then passing peacefully in his sleep; leaving the family devastated.
Before Maya could deal with the loss properly, she was off to New York to study fashion designing, and thus, keeping the promise she made to her dad. The city was quite different and this was not the life the young adult was used to. People were not friendly, her roommates would make her life hell and the competition with other classmates would keep her up at night. This continued for a few years, until there was a breakthrough that changed her life. Taking up a project for a film production, Maya never expected that her clothes would catch the right attention, with more deals coming her way to the point she would constantly be busy in her small studio.
With her own apartment, and work to keep her busy, Maya was hopeful and more positive. She was in love -- she had a few friends that seemed to genuinely care. Things seemed to fall in track or that’s the impression she had, until the day she came back to find her then fiancé in bed with another woman. Packing her stuff, she didn’t think twice before leaving New York and returning back home. With no explanation toward why her engagement failed, or why she decided to take a break from work and focus on remodelling a cabin in Bighorn Hills, Maya kept quiet and has only recently went back to feeling like herself again.
❨--𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 ∖❩
Prefers designing period clothing and for that reason she has a lot of history books for research.
Her online business runs on personalised items, and Maya chooses whether to take up special requests for dresses.
When inspiration hits, you’ll see her pull out a sketchbook and start working. If she’s at home, then May will drop anything she’s doing to put her ideas on paper.
Has gotten drunk once and got so embarrassed she has a one drink rule now.
Will not engage in a physical fight, as this girl can’t fight for her life. Surprisingly, her dad has taught her how to shoot and her aim is excellent.
She’s a very active person. Will definitely start her day by going jogging with her dog.
With the news that China lifted the one child policy, Maya couldn’t help but feel more curious about her birth parents. She put her plans to visit and find more information on hold because of work.

Birthday Special: Sirius Black
In honor of the day, I thought I'd write something for my birthday twin and high school crush, Sirius Black. Happy womb evacuation day, king.
Tumblr media
* half Chinese from his mom's side
* 5' 10"/180 cm
* has cheekbones and a jawline that could slice open a watermelon
* the tattoos he has came from a myriad of sources, most of them before he went to Azkaban
* as a teenager he really wanted to visit America, New York City specifically
* discovered punk music the summer before his sixth year Hogwarts, became progressively more invested as he got older and got better at sneaking out to concerts/shops/muggle spaces
* wears a lot of black and muted colors. occasionally wears loud/tacky muggle clothes (think of the gigantic collars that were popular in the 60's and 70's) to unnerve his parents
* fond of silver rings. hoards them like a dragon hoards its gold
* paints his nails black
* didn't know how to do his eyeliner until he went to Hogwarts and Lily took pity on him their fifth year. he practiced until he made it (basically) perfect
* doesn't understand how a credit card works. Lily explained it to him multiple times to no avail. he will never understand.
* didn't start carrying cash on him until he was in his mid-teens (being a rich kid, he didn't have to)
* BIG fan of Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Clash, Pink Floyd, and David Bowie
* knows Norman French due to his parents insistence on maintaining ancestral knowledge. makes fun of the French on principle because his parents are so slavishly devoted to "honoring their forefathers"
* has a pair of Doc Martens that he a d o r e s and cleans meticulously
* very ticklish
* pierced his ears with a needle when he was 13 and bored
* stole his leather jacket from a muggle shop that was trying to get rid of old clothes connected to the Beat! movement (also at 13). it was a good 2 sizes too big for him but he grew into it :)
* has neat handwriting due to his mother's insistence on calligraphy
* knows how to ballroom dance
* excellent at spells/charms that keep people from entry due to all the stuff he had to hide from his parents
* ditto for transfiguration
* would rather choke than wash a dish
* however, while he was living with the Potter's he did pitch in with housework because he felt guilty that they had gone to the trouble to take him in
* one time he feigned being sick before a family gathering just so he could stay in bed and play the vinyl he bought from a record shop
* hung around youth hostels to get the beat on muggle culture and also to meet people from all walks of life. slept there once when he missed the last train back and didn't feel like walking
* loved going out for long walks through London at night. fed off the city's pulse and all the twisting Victorian alleys

Lukadrien Drabbles: Nachtmusik Chapter Four
A Little Night Music (Eine Kleine Nachtmusik) Chapter Four: The more things stay the same...
“My father would kill me if I got a tattoo,” Adrien sighed, twirling a pen between his fingers as he leaned in to get a better look at the simple reference doodles Luka had drawn.
“You’d have to get it somewhere no one would see,” Luka hummed, going over the runes beneath the leftmost raven to thicken the lines.
Adrien scoffed. “Luka, I’m a model. My body is public property. There is no ‘somewhere no one would see’.”
Luka looked up and frowned. “Your body is yours…and whoever you decide to share it with’s…not public property.”
Adrien set the pen down on the counter and put his hands up in surrender. “Aren’t you getting discouraged yet?” he wondered.
“How so?” Luka went back to the doodle of the ravens.
“Trying to teach me self-worth,” Adrien explained. “Isn’t it frustrating having to repeat the same things over and over?”
“Not particularly.” Luka shrugged. “I mean, you’re only the way you are now because some people—who shall remain unnamed yet obvious—have been telling you you’re worthless and undesirable for years. Realistically, I figure it’s going to take me a solid two or three years of constant fussing and lavishing of praise and affection to get you back up somewhere close to normal. Why would I be frustrated after only four months?”
Adrien didn’t reply.
Luka looked up, an eyebrow quirking.
Adrien stared. “Are you serious?”
Luka’s brow pulled together into a frown. “It…probably is going to take longer than two or three years, honestly…but I’ve got time.” Luka’s eyes flicked back down to the doodles on the back of the flyer announcing a Greek music festival that weekend.
Adrien continued to stare, wondering what he had done in a former life to deserve this man’s friendship and devotion.
“…You could get a tattoo on your stomach,” Luka broke the silence after a minute or two had passed without words.
Adrien rubbed his stomach just above his bellybutton. “I pose shirtless or with my shirt unbuttoned sometimes. I think they’d see it.”
Luka snickered, looking up to surreptitiously wink. “I was thinking…lower, Angel.”
Adrien frowned, looked down, and then burst into laughter. “Geez. What kind of tattoo would I get on my pelvis?”
Luka shrugged, self-satisfaction still clinging to his lips. “What kind of tattoo would you get anywhere else?”
Adrien bit his lip. “Haven’t really thought about it.”
“How about a snake?” Luka offered.
Adrien smiled incredulously. “On my lower abdomen? Isn’t that kind of…I don’t know…suggestive?”
“I think the only people who would see it would be in a suggestive mood anyway,” Luka reasoned.
Adrien covered his face with his hands, shoulders trembling with laughter as he shook his head. “I think I’m too pure to be having this conversation.”
Luka rolled his eyes. “Please. Says the guy who has made suggestive jokes at my expense on numerous occasions.”
Adrien removed his hands from his eyes to playfully slap at Luka’s arm. He glanced furtively towards the stairwell to the upper deck. “What if your mom or sisters walk in?”
Luka snorted unconcernedly. “Juleka would gang up on whomever she most felt like seeing blush at that moment, Rose would go into hysterics over how we’re supposedly a couple now, and Maman would tell me to make sure my box of condoms isn’t expired and remind me how long it’s been since I last had need of them.”
“My father would…I don’t even know,” Adrien sighed. “Have a heart attack? He wouldn’t be supportive of me having a physical relationship with anyone like your mom is.”
“I kind of wish she was less supportive,” Luka grumbled. “She thinks it’s strange that I don’t have any interest in sleeping with people until I feel a really strong connection with them. She thinks I should experiment more.”
“I wonder why, if you’re happy the way you are,” Adrien hummed.
Luka shook his head, going back to tracing the runes on the doodle. “She comes from an era of free love, so it’s weird for her that I would only want one partner in a long-term, committed relationship…. Like…even though she was with our father for a long time, I’m not actually certain that Juleka and I have the same biological father. We look pretty different, and…Maman and my father’s eyes are both blue…but Juleka’s are brown. Genetically, that’s…”
Adrien drew in a slow, deep breath.
“…Part of me feels like they shouldn’t teach kids about genetics and Punnett squares until they’re old enough to deal with the reality that they’re adopted or their siblings aren’t full-blooded siblings,” Luka snorted. “…But we were talking about tattoos.”
Adrien nodded. “You should get the snake tattoo on your pelvis. You could pull it off.”
Luka grinned at the flattery. “You think?”
“It fits your image.”
“Because I was seriously considering it,” Luka informed.
“Were you really?” Adrien leaned in closer, picking up his pen once more and twirling it between his fingers. “What kind of snake? A cobra like Sass?”
Luka shook his head. “Something more stylized, more Zen, less threatening. Maybe a sleeping snake coiled up. Maybe a Chinese calligraphy-style snake.”
Adrien nodded in encouragement. “That would be kind of cool. I’d like to see that!”
Luka blushed. “I’m giving you the opportunity to remember the placement of the tattoo and adjust your enthusiasm.”
Adrien grimaced. “Pretend I made some kind of flirty, teasing comment to save face that made you feel slightly flattered but also a little uncomfortable.”
Luka gave him a thumbs up. “I actually think it would be cool to get an entire Chinese zodiac…plus a cat.”
Adrien’s face lit up. “Like Fruits Basket!”
Luka’s eye twitched as Adrien completely missed the implication. “Uh…what’s that?”
Adrien’s brow scrunched into an unimpressed frown. “You’ve never heard of Fruits Basket? It’s an anime…and a manga, but you have to see it. It’s one of the classics!” Adrien insisted adamantly. “I’ll have to show you. Marinette and I have been getting together for take away Chinese food and anime on Saturdays the past few months. We’re almost done with the anime we’re watching now, and, after that, we’re going to have to have you over to show you Furuba.”
Luka tried not to let the conflicting emotions show on his face. “That sounds like a lot of fun, but I don’t think Marinette would appreciate me intruding.”
Adrien rolled his eyes. “Marinette wouldn’t mind. She loves having you around. It would be fun, all three of us together.”
“Yeah,” Luka sighed, imagining an alternate reality where both Marinette and Adrien were ecstatic to have him around for all of the reasons he wanted them to be. “But it sounds like anime and Chinese is your thing—just the two of you. You would feel kind of off if Marinette started coming to our jam sessions or family meals, wouldn’t you?”
Adrien shifted awkwardly on the kitchen stool, his nose crinkling. “…That’s different.”
“Maybe it’s not to her,” Luka suggested kindly. “I’ll tell you what, you and I can watch that anime together, just the two of us. How does that sound?”
Adrien’s smile came back, and he nodded. “Deal…. So…tattoos?”
Luka grinned, motioning down at the doodles. “I don’t want a sleeve or anything too big or noticeable. Just some little decorative tattoos here and there that can be hidden easily.”
Adrien switched hands so that he was twirling the pen in his right, freeing up his left hand to point. “I love the concept of Odin’s ravens on your shoulder blades…and a snake around your wrist under your usual bracelet is too funny.”
“I’m also thinking about getting a little pawprint on my finger where I usually wear my ring,” Luka announced tentatively, awaiting Adrien’s reaction.
“A pawprint?” Adrien’s head slowly tipped to the side. “Why a pawprint?”
Luka fought not to show his chagrin. “You know,” he replied conversationally. “like Chat Noir.”
Adrien’s eyes widened, and his face took on an amazed gleam. “Really?”
“Of course,” Luka replied smoothly, inwardly steeling himself. “I am his biggest fan after all…both in and out of the mask.”
Adrien let out one of those dazzling, marble machine laughs, hitting a jerky collection of pitches that somehow managed to sound just perfect to Luka.
“You’d have to fight off hordes of fangirls for that title,” Adrien cautioned.
Luka shrugged. “I’d take them…and I would win.”
“You’re wasted on Chat Noir and whoever he is behind that mask,” Adrien replied in awe, a wide grin spreading from one corner of his mouth to the other. “He could never appreciate you the way you deserve. He’s too full of himself.”
Luka shook his head. “I’ve met Chat Noir. He may come off as a flirty goofball in public, but in private he’s sweet and considerate.”
“Wow,” Adrien chuckled. “If you like him so much, you should marry him. I’m sure you two would make adorable kittens together.”
Luka’s entire face went burgundy as he burst out laughing. “Oh my God,” he gasped, burying his face in his hands.
“As for me, Viperion is much better,” Adrien continued, smirking in triumph as Luka continued to laugh convulsively in a mix of misery, disbelief, and genuine amusement.
“Seriously,” Adrien pretended to pout. “He’s all mysterious and suave and sexy. I’d like to see him in a suit…. Though…Chat Noir is pretty hot. I mean, his butt…”
“Perfection,” Luka snickered.
“Exactly,” Adrien emphatically agreed. “…Do you think Viperion would think I was a slut if I wanted to have occasional threesomes with you and Chat Noir?”
Luka looked up from where his head rested on the countertop. He wiped a tear from his eye and wondered, “How did this become a thing?”
“What?” Adrien hummed, satisfied with his work. “The whole pretending to be gay for Chat Noir and Viperion thing? Remember when Rose got us to play Kill, Screw, Marry last month, and I said I would kill Chat Noir, screw Ladybug, and marry Viperion? And then you said you would kill Ladybug, screw Chat Noir, and marry me? And then Juleka made a joke about foursomes. And then I observed that it seemed like the best of friends always made jokes about sleeping with one another? Like Marinette and Alya and Nino and me, so…it seemed like a logical leap to start doing that with you?” Adrien frowned as a thought occurred to him. “…But is it weird because you’re bi? I know a lot of friends joke about being gay for one another, but…is this insulting? If so, I’m really sorry,” he backpedaled hard. “I’m still kind of new to this whole ‘acceptable casual social etiquette’ thing. Tell me if I cross a line. Please. I don’t want to screw this up.”
Luka straightened and shook his head. “You’re okay. I don’t mind your flirting and teasing. I know you’re a flirty person to start with and that it’s not just me. I don’t have any delusions about that. I mean, I’ve seen you and Nino. You and Nino need to get a room and work out some of the sexual tension between you two sometime. Put the poor man out of his misery, Angel.”
Adrien rolled his eyes. “I think Alya is doing a fine job. She doesn’t need my help…but we’re okay?” He eyed Luka anxiously.
Luka nodded. “I know you’re just joking. No offence taken.”
“Good,” Adrien sighed in relief. “…So…tattoos?”
The side of Luka’s mouth rose in a fond smile. “I think I’m going to get the pawprint tattoo on my finger. Do you think this looks accurate?” He indicated the doodle below Munin the raven.
Adrien frowned, pulling the paper in closer.
“I mean, I’m always distracted when I’m around Chat Noir, so I haven’t paid very close attention to what the pawprint on the ring looks like,” Luka explained.
“Distracted?” Adrien hummed, peeking up mischievously. “By his butt?”
Luka had mostly meant the akuma, but…
Luka bumped Adrien’s shoulder and replied a little too genuinely, too tenderly, “By his eyes. I’m a sucker for his eyes.”
Adrien’s heart jumped. “…Mine are prettier.”
“Jealous, Angel?” Luka snickered.
“Confused,” Adrien thought.
Confused because he kind of wanted Luka to be serious. Sometimes, Luka would say something painfully sweet, and Adrien’s heart would ache for Luka’s words to be true. And that was extremely confusing because Adrien wasn’t interested in guys. At least…he had never been interested in guys before. It had only ever been Ladybug, but…sometimes Luka confused him.
“Super jealous,” Adrien snorted.
“Don’t be. He’s not interested in me, so I’m all yours, Angel,” Luka chuckled at his own expense.
“Don’t you forget it,” Adrien clicked his tongue, switching the ink pen to his left hand to draw. “The pawprint is more like this.”
Luka nodded, impressed by the likeness. “…How is it that you have such an intimate knowledge of Chat Noir’s ring?”
Adrien looked up and answered with a straight face, “Oh? Didn’t I tell you? I’m sleeping with him.”
“Oh?” Luka snickered. “Be a friend and get me his number, would you?”
“I don’t think I want to share,” Adrien pouted.
“Share which one of us?” Luka arched an eyebrow.
Adrien smirked, twirling the ink pen playfully. “Either.”
Luka rolled his eyes. “In all seriousness—”
The pen went flying from Adrien’s hand, landing over by the wraparound couch.
“Oops.” Adrien smiled sheepishly. He hopped down from the stool into a feline crouch, scooped up the pen, and slowly rolled up, his posterior leading.
Luka’s brain blew a fuse. He knew he shouldn’t, but he couldn’t help watching. It had happened so fast, and now he couldn’t keep from staring. He was already a little riled up from all the suggestive flirting, and now…ngeh. His mind was in the gutter.
Did Adrien know what he was doing? He couldn’t. He couldn’t have any idea. Even if he did, he wouldn’t. Adrien may have been a flirt, but he wasn’t a tease. He would never.
Adrien turned back around, and Luka scrambled to put a lid on all thoughts of Adrien’s butt and Adrien naked and sinking his teeth into the flesh of Adrien’s hip until he left a mark and Adrien’s laugh and Adrien’s eyes and how bad he wanted this guy. Because Adrien had no idea, and it was an abuse of Adrien’s trust to be sitting there staring and having those kinds of thoughts when Adrien was under the belief that their flirting was only all in good fun.
“Sorry. What were you saying?” Adrien smiled innocently as he sat back down on the stool next to Luka.
Luka shifted uncomfortably, mentally cursing his preference for wearing skinny jeans that were too tight to begin with.
Belatedly, he realized that Adrien had asked him a question. “Um… Was I talking?”
Adrien nodded, waiting expectantly.
Luka gulped, trying to discretely regulate his breathing. “Uh…I forget.”
Adrien shrugged, not suspecting. “Well, just let me know if you remember.”
“S-Sure,” Luka replied thickly, shrugging off his overshirt because suddenly the main cabin was sweltering.
And then Adrien took hold of his hand.
The touch felt like a hot iron on Luka’s unexpectedly hypersensitive skin.
“May I?” Adrien inquired, motioning to take Luka’s ring off.
Luka nodded, not trusting his voice.
With the retrieved ink pen, Adrien carefully traced the pawprint onto Luka’s flesh, blowing on it to help it dry before slipping the ring back over it.
Internally, Luka was panting. The contact, the way Adrien bit his bottom lip in concentration, the way he puckered his lips to blow the ink dry…simultaneously too much and yet not enough. He almost whimpered when Adrien withdrew his hands.
“Done,” Adrien announced proudly.
Luka pulled the ring back off carefully to inspect Adrien’s work and immediately came to a decision: he was going that very evening to get that pawprint permanently tattooed onto his skin before the ink had a chance to smudge or wash off.
“I love it,” Luka breathed. “It’s perfect.”
“Glad to hear it,” Adrien chuckled, obviously pleased with himself.
Luka caught Adrien’s right hand. “Would you be comfortable with moving your ring to a different finger for a second?”
Adrien nodded, slipping his ring off and sliding it onto the ring finger of his left hand.
Luka picked up his own pen and made two little dots on the finger, reminiscent of puncture wounds. “Done,” he announced.
Adrien frowned, inspecting his “tattoo”. “Bite mark?” he questioned.
“Snake bite.” Luka winked.
Adrien tittered in amusement. “Oh no! Aren’t viper bites lethal? You’d better suck the venom out before I die!”
“Drama queen,” Luka snorted even as he grinned.
“Seriously!” Adrien insisted, hamming it up as he held out his hand. “Quick! I’m already feeling woozy!”
Luka took Adrien’s hand and delicately brought it to his lips for a feather-light kiss.
Adrien’s heartbeat tripped. His stomach fluttered. His breath caught.
Luka looked up, his eyes meeting Adrien’s as the most perfect blush skated over Adrien’s cheeks, highlighting the dazed look in Adrien’s eyes as his pupils widened.
Luka’s breath hitched.
At the same moment, a thought occurred to both boys:
“Shoot. I’m in serious trouble.”

This is Permanent
(Read on AO3) (Flufftober Day 25: Tattoo)
“This is a ridiculous idea,” Alec says, eyeing the toy dispenser inside the tattoo shop. It’s filled with those clear plastic containers that would normally hold cheap rubber toys or those slime hands kids inevitably got stuck to the ceiling for days. But this one, located at his and Jace’s favorite tattoo shop, holds $50 tattoo specials. The catch? There’s no way to tell what design you’re going to get until you put your token in and turn the crank. Whatever comes out is the tattoo you get.
“This is a great idea!” Jace insists. “I mean, come on. We know Clary’s art is always amazing, even if it’s whatever leftover designs she’s trying to get rid of. There’s no way this can go wrong.”
Alec can think of a lot of ways this can go wrong. “But what if I hate it? I’m just going to let the random turn of a dial determine something that’s going to be on me permanently? For the rest of my life?”
“Wait, tattoos are permanent?” Jace sais, feigning shock.
“You know what I’m saying,” Alec rolls his eyes.
“That is generally how tattoos function, Alec, yes. Considering how many we have so far I think we both understand the basic premise.” Jace rolls his eyes right back. “You were saying you wanted to be more spontaneous and have more fun - this is both of those! It’s fate.”
“I don’t know… when I said that I was thinking more like taking one of those parkour gym classes or buying last minute concert tickets. I wasn’t thinking impulsive tattoo.” Alec stares warily at the dispenser.
“What if I get it with you?” Jace offers. “Whatever you get, I’ll get too. We can be in this together.”
Alec looks up at that offer, attention pulled from the designs stuffed into plastic balls and shifted to Jace. There’s no one Alec’s closer with, no one he trusts more with his life, than Jace. There isn’t a single doubt in his mind that they’re going to have each other’s backs and be by each other’s side for the rest of their lives. The idea of a matching tattoo with anyone else would be an immediate hard pass for him, but with Jace?
“You mean it?” Alec asks.
“Always,” Jace confirms. “You’re stuck with me and my reckless decisions for life, Alec. Might as well commemorate that with impromptu matching tattoos!”
Alec shakes his head with a fond smile on his face, because Jace is right. They aren’t going to part, not willingly, and Alec is always right there for the fallout of whatever it is Jace gets himself wrapped up in at any given moment. This is, quite possibly, the most accurate representation of their relationship since the day they met.
“Fuck it, let’s do this,” Alec agrees.
He stands back and watches as Jace pays the $100 at the register to get a token, fidgeting anxiously as Jace puts the coin in and turns the handle. A plastic container with an orange base falls out of the bottom and Jace opens it eagerly to reveal a symbol that, Alec has to admit, actually looks kind of cool.
Down the center is a thick line, with a thinner line trailing off towards the left at the top, and towards the right at the bottom. In the middle lines like calligraphy brush strokes curve out, one on each side near the top and bottom, with one extra, thicker stroke near the bottom. If he didn’t know that Clary does only original pieces he’d think it might be a Chinese character of some kind.
“See?!” Jace says triumphantly. “This is amazing.”
“We don’t even know what it is,” Alec points out.
“Clary! What is this?” Jace shouts from across the room, holding up the paper.
Clary comes over and gives it a look. “Honestly? No clue. It sort of came to me one night - I woke up with it in my head and drew it quick before I could forget it.” She looks it over again. “It’s actually really weird you got this one - whenever I drew it I’d always draw it as a matching pair. It just, I dunno, felt like it was meant to be a set.”
“Meant to be a set, Alec!” Jace repeats, looking back at Alec with enthusiasm. “It’s fate!”
Alec isn’t sure he believes in all of that fate and destiny nonsense but he does believe in the permanence him and Jace - and right now that’s all he needs.

His/her/their body from their face with facial tattoos, neck tattoos, & upper body (of their chest and back) have traditional South American Indigenous and traditional Indigenous Pasifika tattoos. They have tattoos on their arms from their upper arms (from their shoulder to their elbow) and their lower arms (from their elbows to the fingertips of their clawed hands with opposable thumbs). They also have tattoos on the lower body of their upper legs (from their thighs to their knees) and their lower legs (from their knees to their toes to their clawed feet with opposable toes).
They have rings, bracelets, & necklaces made out of magical wood and alien metal.

turn a little faster (the world will follow after) preview | sp x oc
Title: turn a little faster (the world will follow after)
Rated: T
Words: ~1K
Pairing: Sweet Pea X Jubilee Jones
Summary: Sweet Pea never expected to meet his soulmate. He also never expected her to be the cute florist working across the street from his tattoo parlor.
AN: A preview of the florist/tattoo artist soulmate au I’m working on. For Camp Riverdale themes soulmates and meet cute!
The pencil slips from Sweet Pea’s fingers and clatters onto the counter. “Shit,” he hisses, brows furrowing in annoyance as he shakes out his hand. A prick of pain lingers on the pad of his thumb, the dull, phantom ache of something that isn’t his. An echo. The pencil rolls off the counter and onto the floor before he can catch it, and he sighs, grumbling under his breath as he stoops to pick it up.
Joaquin pops his head out of his booth as Sweet Pea swears again loudly, eyes narrowed in confusion. “Everything okay out there, man?” he calls across the empty shop, rolling his chair into the main room. The other artist quirks a brow at the sour look Sweet Pea sends him, his lips twitching in amusement.
Sweet Pea waves him off. “Nothing. Soulmate,” he says shortly. He wiggles his fingers so Joaquin can see the already fading red mark on his thumb. “It’s like they fucking shove pins into their hands or something.”
Snorting obnoxiously, Joaquin leans back in his chair. “Must be payback for all those times you got your face busted up,” he jokes. “And all that ink. You must drive them up the wall.”
“Fuck off.” Sweet Pea rolls his eyes. Guilt shoots through him at Joaquin’s quip, but he shoves it down before it can linger.
Joaquin is right, of course. In high school Sweet Pea was definitely a troublemaker, picking fights all the time, even when he shouldn’t have. Black eyes, bruises, and bloody noses were the usual for him. Back then, he was too angry at the world and self-centered to ever think about how a set of bruised ribs might hurt someone else, and he thought being a member of the Southside Serpents meant he had to break himself. He really wouldn’t be surprised if his soulmate was pissed at him for all those years of phantom pain, even if it wasn’t always his fault.
Sensation sharing can be a bitch sometimes.
He still gets into fights, of course. It comes with being a member of the Serpents here in Riverdale. Between territory wars and drugs it’s something they can’t avoid, but he tries not to lose his temper as much as he used to. It helps that things have settled recently. Things will always be tense in Riverdale, but there’s tentative peace between the local gangs.
Joaquin is right about the ink though. After high school he started his apprenticeship with Micah, the Serpents primary tattoo artist. He’d always been a bit of an artist, and under Micah’s watch he’s become damn good with a tattoo gun. Sweet Pea’s been working for the older Serpent for over five years now at his shop on the Southside, Black Velvet Ink and Piercings.
He must drive his soulmate absolutely crazy with all the tattoos he’s gotten over the years.
Sweet Pea’s fingers brush against the side of his neck, absentmindedly tracing the double-headed snake inked there. The first tattoo he ever got was right after he was initiated into the Serpents at fifteen and he hasn’t looked back since. Most of his torso is inked, and his left arm is covered in a full sleeve, of mostly Asian inspired designs. Koi fish. A geisha. Chinese calligraphy running along his left side. A dragon on his arm. His style has always been black and grey. Bold.
That is, all aside from the soft, wispy, cherry blossoms between his shoulder blades. His soul mark.
It’s a pretty thing. A dark branch and a cluster of pale pink blossoms and smaller buds. More delicate and feminine than anything he would have picked for himself, and he wanted to hate it at first, because it was bright and beautiful and everything he didn’t deserve, but he can’t help but be fond of the little thing that showed up one morning when he was sixteen.
His hand drops from the tattoo on his neck and he looks back at the design laid out in front of him, delicate stalks of peonies all woven together across the page. It’s a rough sketch and there isn’t a flow to the design, but he just can’t get the damn thing right. None of the pictures he’s been looking at have the right dimension for what he wants.
Shaking his head, Sweet Pea shoves the sketchbook away and closes his laptop. With a sigh, he leans back on his stool, stretching out his back until there’s a satisfying series of pops.
Joaquin gets up from his chair and walks up behind the desk, looking at the sketch over Sweet Pea’s shoulder. “Peonies still giving you trouble?” he asks, cocking his head as he squints down at the design. Sweet Pea makes a low sound of agreement. “When do you need the design ready?”
Sweet Pea spins one of the rings decorating his fingers and looks over the drawing again, mouth pulled into a frown. “The appointment isn’t for a week, but you know how picky people can be. I need this draft done by tonight.”
“You know your mom’s shop is literally across the street, right?” he reminds Sweet Pea, jerking his chin towards the front windows and the florist shop across the street. “You could just go ask to look at some peonies.” Sweet Pea stills and Joaquin sends him a sly look, suddenly teasing. “Or is there a reason you don’t want to go over there.”
“I’m working,” Sweet Pea tells him immediately, gaze drifting across the street. Immediately, he catches sight of the pretty flower girl that his mom hired at the beginning of the summer. Small and thin, with dark hair pulled into a braid dangling over one of her shoulders. There’s something magnetic about the way she moves and he always ends up staring like a creep. Especially when he gets a glimpse of those long legs that would look fantastic with some ink tracing up her thigh. He can almost picture a winding vine of flowers creeping across her skin.
“Working my ass.” Joaquin rolls his eyes, following Sweet Pea’s gaze out the front window to the girl working in the shop. “You’re just too scared to talk to the hot new girl.”
Ripping his gaze from the pretty brunette, Sweet Pea sends Joaquin a look. “I am not,” he says, like a liar. Joaquin crosses his arms and leans his hip against the counter, expression smug. “Fuck off, Joaquin,” Sweet Pea grumbles, making the other man chuckle. “I’m going to go get some coffee.” He closes his laptop and stands, swiping his keys and wallet off the counter and shoving them into his pockets. He leaves his jacket on the chair.
“You mean go ogle the new girl?” Joaquin calls after him. “And get me a latte!”
Sweet Pea flips him the bird as he steps through the glass doors.

Survey #238
“crimson calligraphy written on the trees, creature from the grave, headless and hellbent for me.”
Have you ever played golf? Like, mini-golf. Is there a lake near your house? No, but there's two small ponds down the road. Have you ever made your own pizza or pasta dough? No. Have you ever watched an entire season of a tv show in one day? Uhhhhh how long are the first few seasons of Supernatural? Because Jason and I fucking binged it, and I honestly think that's partially the reason I don't even enjoy TV anymore. Like I liked the show, but jfc it became torture at some point. Not his fault at all, I just never pointed it out. BUT ANYWAY, it's definitely possible we did. What did you have for dinner tonight (or last night)? A ham and cheese hot pocket. Do your parents do things that ‘embarrass’ you? This is so mean, but my mom makes the cringiest jokes and such imo that gives me mad secondhand embarrassment. Do you like any Bon Jovi songs? Yeah, a decent handful. Who was the last person you were in a car with? Mom. Do you give people second chances? Ha, more than "second." How’re things between you and your most recent ex? We're totally great. Really as if we didn't even break up, considering I mean... nothing emotionally has changed. We just know that being together right now isn't the wise decision. It's frustrating as hell, though. We've already established we're not going to "wait" for each other, but neither of us are actively looking for a new partner, either. I want her, and from what I can tell, she wants me, too. We kinda just... don't talk about how unfair it all is anymore because we both get too upset. I was even supposed to go up there with her and her fam for her birthday and Christmas, but that's changed because she and I agree it's too soon after splitting, making it only more difficult to be around each other. We'd want to cuddle and kiss and such by instinct, so we're trying to wait until the wound isn't as fresh. Though honestly, I don't know how visiting period would go consider as said, there has been zero change in romantic attraction. Ugh yeah I just hope she figures out what she wants and all and we can get back together. Have you been to a wedding this year? No. I'm going to my half-sister's next year, though. Are you an aunt or uncle? Yes, and another niece is on her way. :') Do you expect to be married in the next two years? Probably not. What season is your birthday in? Winter. Have you ever been hunting? Fuck that shit. How often do you walk around barefoot? Always in my own house + in other houses if I'm allowed to take my shoes off. When you eat take-out, do you just eat it out of the containers provided? Usually, but it does depend on what food it is. Ex., those little boxes that have rice in them from Chinese places? I'm using a bowl. From the container is just messy. Would you need to sleep with someone before considering marrying them? Nah. Do you carry condoms? No. Would you date someone who has a hearing aid? ... Yes...? "No" is just... so rude?? Like that is something the person absolutely cannot help, nor is it a HUGE thing. It's just a hearing aid, dude. How organized are the files on your computer? Pretty decent. Folders and such. Could be better still, probably. Have you ever been to a strip club? Nah, not my scene. Have you ever brought home a stray animal? Pleeeeenty of cats. Are you physically strong? No, especially not my legs. I've got a newborn fawn's legs, jc. Still working on building the muscle back up. Would you date someone with braces? Oh my god, fuck off. Yes I would. I was the person with braces dating someone without them, so 1.) I obviously can't say shit, 2.) they're taking care of their goddamn teeth, and 3.) I dunno, wearing braces has no goddamn impact on personality???????????? Does scuba diving interest you? Not to an incredible degree, but it'd be cool. Would you ever ask your parents for relationship advice? Maybe for certain topics. Do you think people look up to you? Y'know that "oh no hunty WHAT is u doin" meme??? That's me if someone does. How often do you have trouble sleeping at night? *blinking* There are people who don't??????? Do you blush easily? Ohhhhhh yes. Do you get angry at yourself or at others more often? Hm. Not sure. Can you name five current world leaders? AHAHA nope. How many times have you had the flu? Zero. Do you think imagination is valuable? Oh hell yes. We would be NOWHERE CLOSE to where we are as animals without it. Who or what are you most impatient with? I don't know. When was the last time you mowed a lawn? Never. Have you seen all of the Star Wars films? No; seen only the first three with a friend and saw zero appeal. He didn't either. How about all of the Harry Potter ones, so far? I haven't even seen one. Jason and I started the first one together but. Paid way more attention to each other than the movie lmfao. What part of the newspaper do you typically enjoy reading? None. I collect my school's papers now though 'cuz I'm the photographer for it. :') Have you ever made a website, even a simple one? Four that I remember. The ancient and now-defunct ones were back when I think this site called Wetpaint was a host for simple sites, and a lot of us RPers posted our mob info and stuff there. I had one for Talons, one for Connrads. Ha, out of curiosity, I think I looked for them not all too long ago since I never actually deleted them, but I think the site itself was re-purposed. NOW, I have a Wix site for my photography, and then Kalahari Manor is a ProBoards-hosted site. Which was better: your childhood or your teen years? Jfc, childhood. Teen years were a chaotic and rancid cesspit in terms of mental health. What was your reaction to your first time falling in love? I truly imagine that realizing I was *in love* with Jason surpassed what a high probably feels like lmao. What does it take for someone to win your heart? I'm actually putting thought into this one and I think what appeals to me in a person most is just being friendly with a good sense of humor and obvious, shameless concern for others. AND JFC, HAVE EMOTION. Don't be a brick wall with me. Lacking an emotional side, positive or negative, is such a turn-off to me. I'm not attracted to robots. Being a gentle person is important, and for me personally, you need to actually act like you're into me. Not just between us. Do not make me a secret. AND BE CREATIVE AND WEIRD AND FRESH!!!!!!!!!!! There's nothing wrong with more "vanilla" people, but just for me myself, I need someone who stands out for some good reason. lol okay this answer's actually getting kinda long, I'll stop. There's a number of ways. What is one thing you would rather be doing? Ha ha yo real talk, Sara and I are getting all emotional and deep into our relationship, platonic or romantic, and I want me and her in her bed right now tearing each other up alsdkjfla;kwejre I love her a lot ok. When was the last time you changed your mind about something? OKAY SO I started a new birth control, right? It. Sent. Me. BACK. With my PTSD. How? Idfk, but I was suddenly obsessing over Him again, badly. I stopped that shit, and wha'd'ya know, two days later, I'm like "lol wtf I don't want him why did that just happen hunty was u ok????????". SO YEAH, that was a trip. Do you know anyone with a lisp? I'm not sure. Possibly. How much weight can you lift at once? No clue. Not a lot. Do you ask guys out, or wait for them to ask you out? I've never asked a guy out, but I wouldn't say I wouldn't. Do you like the last person who showed interest in you? I love her. Describe the last person you stared at? I have no idea. Do you like dating one person at a time, or multiple people? I'm personally monogamous. Have your experiences made you more or less sympathetic to others? MORE. Do you find smoking unattractive? I do. Have your parents ever searched your personal belongings? Mom has. Where did you get your last bruise from? ... Well. This is uh. Awkward. Tying into when I was on that medicine that made my libido fucking uncontrollable (thank the fucking lord I'm back to normal), my breasts are lookin rough, sister. Are you looking forward to anything? Nothing in the VERY near future, I think. A bit further off, Christmas. I can't wait to see the kids so excited again, and for once, we come together as a true family. Plus my #1 wish is to have my Mark tattoo improved at an amazing parlor, and I'm pretty sure that'll be happening, just obvs. not on Christmas Day itself. I'll just be fuckin STOKED when I *know* it's happening. Do you have a good relationship with your parents? Yes. How much money did you spend today? $1.25 for something from the vending machine. I didn't have breakfast, so I was really hungry. When you’re bored in class, what do you usually do? Try to not doze off. If we're not doing anything, then I'll play around with my phone. Have you ever had a song stuck in your head for more than a day? Oh, definitely. Ever walked into the guy’s bathroom? HA as a stupid elementary school with her friends, we sure did during a work day (my mom used to work with special ed kids at school). We thought we were soooo rebellious. How many wives or husbands do you want? One. What happens if you fall in love with your best friend? Ha, did. I still am, and we hope to be back together someday. Has a teacher ever flirted with you? Not that I know of. Thankfully. Is it okay for friends to kiss each other, as friends? It's not my thing, but sure, if it's consenting and both are aware it's platonic. Do your wishes ever get granted in the worst way possible? Probably in some way at some point I don't recall. How do you feel about your naked body? NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONO Have you ever been called obnoxious? I don't think so, anyway. Do you wish you had a bigger family? No. Which friend would you kiss full on the mouth, no questions asked? Sara. Can you do a split or stick your foot up next to your ear? Nope. When was the last time you complained about something? I was venting some mild frustration to Sara earlier tonight. What is your favorite color combination? Favorite is probably pastel orange and light blue. Love it. Then there's pastel pink and purple. Okay pretty much any combination is about the pastels When was the last time you spoke in front of a group? A month or so back when I had to do my Lifeline presentation in FYS. Do you like group projects, or do you prefer to work alone? I strongly prefer working alone. There's no disagreements, compromises, incompetent partners, etc. Have you ever been told you were going to Hell? Yup! (: Indirectly, but. How did you respond? I don't recall, but I wish I did. Who is the most argumentative person you know? She's not in my life anymore partially BECAUSE of that shit. Do you know anyone who is crazy about proper grammar? Yes, but she has OCD as a valid reason. I'm pretty particular about it too to a degree. Who was the last person to make you feel special? Oh my gosh, my therapist told me she was so proud of me and the progress I was making that I just entirely lit up and became a total beaming ball of giggles and "thank you"s. Would you feel funny if you kissed somebody of the same sex? No, I'm bi. If your best friend grabs your hand, what do you automatically do? Squeeze it. What’s something you can cook or bake like a pro? Cheesy and spicy scrambled eggs, man. Also known as the only thing I can properly cook lmao. Do you tend to flirt a lot, even when the person isn’t single? Fuck no, if they're not single. I'll flirt with my s/o when I see it appropriate or relevant, and in a case where we're both single, I'd be very subtle about it because shy. What’s something that you think is really cute? Off the very top of my head, the Ewoks from Star Wars, oh my fucking god. They were the only thing I enjoyed in the movies. What’s a pretty bird? I mean... pretty much all of them. BUT, can we take a moment to appreciate the bearded vulture? like???? they're fucking BADASS???????????? Besides sleeping, what do you do in bed? Almost... everything. It's the reason I endured/am still recovering from muscle atrophy in my legs. Have you ever hacked into somebody’s account? Playfully, back when that was a thing for friends to do and post lovey-dovey stuff about them everywhere. Megan and I, and I believe Mini and I as well, did it to each other. Possibly more. Is having to pee really badly worse than being really thirsty? Oh hell yes it is. The former can get to a point of hurting. Have you ever touched a Qu'ran? No. Do you love animals more than most? Oh definitely. Why do you eat fast food? It's easy to grab when on the run, and Mom has almost zero time to cook. Then we both have school. Most often I just warm things up in the microwave or grab something substantial enough in the fridge. Is there always going to be that one person you and a friend makes fun of? I guess you could say indirectly, yes. Just something she said in a certain way became an inside joke. Her as a person, no, I wouldn't do that. What is a bad habit of yours that you’re actually trying to fix? Having terrible eye contact. I have a very hard time maintaining it, but I've been trying to keep that weakness in mind when talking to people. Do you write out your feelings? That's one reason why I take these surveys, yes. Do you have bills to pay yet? It's embarrassing that I don't. Not saying like, I want to pay bills, what madman would, but I do want to feel more like a proper, independent adult. Will you be changing your hair any time soon? Not the style, but one thing I'm asking for Christmas is a professional to dye my hair silver. I say pro because my hair does NOT hold color, and because of the bleach needed, Mom's concerned I'll damage my hair if I put my trust into anyone less qualified. Does your mom have a celebrity look-alike? I don't think so, but she looks UNCANNILY like her firstborn daughter. It is SCARY. Is there something you wish you could learn to do? There's loads of stuff. Probably above all, cook. Or stop procrastinating. If you could be amazing at ONE thing, what would it be? Drawing precisely what I see in my head. Because of how important they are to me, I would pay BIG FUCKING BUCKS to get how my 'kats look onto paper. What do you wish people would pay you to do? Complain about my weight. :^) I'd be able to just pay for surgery to fix that within a day. Do you take good pictures? I personally think I do. I mean I wanna be a professional photographer. How would one go about impressing you? It depends on the subject and difficulty of whatever. What probably impresses me most would be someone maintaining a mature, peaceful attitude when there is reason to act otherwise. Self-control, that's it. Do you automatically apologize if you walk into somebody? Duh? Tell me a memory of this summer: It was fucking scorching and I hated every minute of it. What’s something that you don’t need, but really want? Hmmmm. OH, HELL YES. IF I had the proper body to even remotely pull them off, I. Would wear. NOTHING. But corsets. Jesus FUCKING Christ they are so hot. What do you draw more than anything else? Just about all I draw is meerkats. What’s the most favorite class you’ve ever had? The Digital Photography course I took in high school. Or Art Honors my junior year. I really enjoyed the stuff I made. For each person you’ve kissed, describe your feelings in one word: Jason: melancholy; Tyler: dramatic; Girt(?): loyal; Sara: ideal. How do you react when you trip or stumble? Gasp and carry on. If it was a more serious trip, I look around at who saw. Are you good at “biting your tongue”? NO. Why do you love the one you do? She's been there for me without fail, has undying faith in me, supports me through everything, is honest, she's funny and very unique, her adoration for animals shows a great level of compassion, she trusts me so much despite her history, she stands extremely firmly for what she sees as right and wrong... okay I can honestly write an essay on why I love her. Would you rather get [another] tattoo or piercing? GIMME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 THE TATTOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111111111 Do you have long or short legs? I'd say they're normal, idk. When do you listen to Nickelback? *shrugs* When I wanna? Would you rather make the first move, or your crush? Them. I'm shy.

Transmigrator Pile-up Pt 3
In which I cheerfully abuse my protagonist, because that’s what he’s there for.
TW: Animal death.  We’re sad about it, too.  Also cheerful abuse of the Chinese name generator because Author Don’t Care and I can’t do this on my own.
The clue, when it came, was not subtle.  It was, in fact, written in characters that had to be several miles high.  At least.
"What the FUCK is that?!"
He couldn't help it if he was loud, that was entirely involuntary!  There was only a sliver of the moon visible; one eighth waxing or so.  That wasn't what floored him.  No, the moon had apparently gotten a new special effects budget because glowing lines of red stretched across the darkened surface like someone had taken a giant calligraphy brush and sketched characters across the surface of the Earth's only natural satellite.  Well.  That was more or less what they did.  Projected by talismans, sorta, and he still really hated that whole bullshit mission because what the fuck was up with putting an array on the moon.
Oh fuck, he knew what that was.
Dimly, he also registered that oh, look, there was more than one natural satellite now: a few chunks of rock glimmered faintly red and malevolent in the night sky aaaaaaaaaaand as he turned to what had to be the south, yes, there was a sparkling belt of shimmering gray like a cloud obscuring the stars in a wide swath that followed the equator.
If he went far enough north, he could probably see the new northern lights and the walls of the post-apocalypse's most exclusive gated community.  He kinda wanted to hate them for existing.
Outside the Array. Mountains.  Eagle.  Fast healing.  Had to be beast tribe.  OG was with the bandits, then.  OG was a big dude with a lot of scars and red swirling tattoos and fuuuuuuuuck he landed in the Mountain King Feng Mahti, didn't he?
Oh fuck fuck fuck that meant the eagle was Taifun.  He'd killed the Mountain King's bird.  All Taifun had been trying to do was protect him.  His breath hitched and stopped in his chest.  Not fair.
Grandma Xu shuffled out of the house, cautious and curious as to what had him yelling in the night on the way back from the outhouse.  Because plumbing happened to other people.  She gently touched his shoulder, and he realized he must have sat down. "Hielang-ge?"
"Here." His voice came out choked, and he swallowed before saying lamely, "I'm just. . . having a moment here." Jay finally tore his eyes away from the goddamn horror show overhead and leaned forward, rubbing a hand across his face.  Yeah, not at all subtle.  Shit.
Jay Cooper was jaegering fucking Feng Mahti falling on his ass in a farmer's field crying his eyes out because the first goddamn thing he did was get Taifun killed and if he ever ran into the Gardens they'd probably try and kill him before he said a word, especially with the hate-on the Lettuces had for Feng-zong for some pretty good reasons.  Like traumatically killing the best character in the entire series Sect Leader Lin.
Transmigration stories were supposed to be about redeeming and improving the original.  Who let him fuck up this badly?
He sorta . . . blue screened for awhile there.
He came back around to Grandma Xu gently patting his scarred cheek, then hauling on his arm.  "Come back in, Hielang-ge.  It is not safe to stay outside at night."
The fact that this little old granny farmer was poking and manhandling the bandit with biceps the size of her head made him want to giggle hysterically.  Did they know?  Did they know who he was?  Before he did, no less?
Big bad bandit king obediently got up and followed Grandma Xu back inside to the fire at the hearth and where the family was winding down for the evening, Xu Ming nursing little Yan while listening to A-Mei babble enthusiastically about something.  Xu Jing looked a little startled at whatever he saw on Jay's face and only settled when Grandma gently pushed him back down into his seat.  "It is nothing, just star-gazing."
It was the first clear night since he'd been able to get back vertical. Literally the first time he'd gotten outside after dark.  And there you have it, bam, he was right in the Arrays of Heaven universe. Welcome to whatever was after the end of the world.
The way Xu Jing cut a glance across at him, he definitely knew more than he was saying.  Shit, they were braver than he was, picking the Mountain King off the floor and trying to get him back upright.  He owed them a solid.  Several of them.  Maybe in gold.  If he had any. . . . He hadn't asked to see or go through the things they'd found with him.
It had seemed like a bad idea to make a fuss over asking for "his" things back while he was still in their care.  If they wanted to keep something, what the hell, it wasn't like he was going to know.  They were welcome to it.
So he didn't need Feng Mahti's personal effects, like a stranger collecting someone else's things on his way out of prison.  But there was something he had to do that he really didn't want to, and the sooner the better.
Xu Jing tried to evade, but Jay was used to literally and metaphorically herding cats and large birds of prey.  Uh.  What used to count as large birds of prey.  Anyways.  He sat down across from him and caught the man's eyes, trying to project calm and implacable.   "I'd been meaning to ask, now that I can get around again. . .  You know where I went down?"
"I didn't. . . I haven't looked."
Jay breathed in, then out. No one had a minor breakdown tonight, no sir. Totally stable. "But you could take me there."
"To the area, yes," Xu Jing hedged before looking up at Jay with misgivings, brows furrowed, "Are you sure?  It might be dangerous."
Someone shot Feng Mahti out of the sky with the low-tech equivalent of a surface-to-air missile in what was probably an ambush.  Yeah, that sorta went without saying.  "I need to see it."
Xu Jing nodded slowly.  "Tomorrow morning, then."
After the morning chores, before the sun had really properly come up to peek over the rise of the mountain ridges, Xu Jing and Jay headed out.  It felt almost weird to be wearing Feng Mahti's proper clothes, even if it wasn't everything.  The boots fit.  It took him a minute to figure out how to lash the sleeves of his underrobe under the bracers, Grandpa Xu's worn overrobe loose on top.  At least the colors didn't stand out; Feng Mahti had favored rusts, browns and darker reds that faded into the forest, if it a bit dark for spring.
Xu Jing's brown and grey were equally surreptitious, and the man handled himself like he was used to hiking, striking out along the stony ridge downhill.  Jay trailed after at a sociable distance, watching out for loose rocks underfoot.  "You come out into the woods often?  Doesn't look like there's any paths."
"Not this way.  There's a village, little trading post, about half a day's walk over there.  That's where I met Xiao Min."  Xu Jing gestured with his walking stick to the east, back away over his shoulder.  "Never a reason to go southwest."
The small glacier lake they'd mentioned was more to the north.  Xu Jing said the bandits watered their birds there. . .  maybe someone had waited for just that.  Stake out the watering hole.  Bastards.
The hike was mostly quiet.  It had the same feeling as going on an S&R where you knew it was a retrieval.  Jay didn't remember any of the woods, just trusted Xu Jing knew where he was headed.  It'd been a week, and it had rained more than once.  Any trail he'd left behind would need a dog to find, now.
After the first hour coming down from the mountain valley, the rest of the morning turned into a long, steady climb uphill.  He must have stumbled his way down.  If any of that was under his own power, anyways.   Xu Jing had been too polite to mention if he'd rolled the entire way down the goddamn mountain.
Finally, they crested a ridge and turned, and Jay caught his breath hard, freezing mid-step.
That was the sharp little valley that Taifun had banked into, little more than a cleft in a much larger mountain.  And halfway down the opposite ridge. . . yes.  Trees were broken and strewn aside in a line where a bird the size of a small airplane had made its final short, sharp stop.
He pushed past Xu Jing, already calculating the fastest route.  He dropped off the rock ledge they had been following up, between trees; at this elevation, it was mostly confiers and some adventurous brush that was just barely leafing out for the season.  Dark green, pale shoots, white flowers, a tumble of those brown-red rocks like gravel across the bottom of the cut.
He had to go slower through the splinters, finding it easier to route parallel to the path of destruction and then move uphill to. . . to where Taifun fell.
Jay let out his breath in a slow hiss, then regretted the indrawn breath that followed.  Death always smelt like death.  The vultures and other carrion feeders had been doing their job, and the results were never pretty.  One of the wings had been snapped and strewn aside, more a crumple of feathers and bone than anything else.  The other was folded under, and the sheer jumble of flesh and bones was barely recognizable as a bird.
Jay stepped wide around it, seeing but not seeing until his eyes finally caught on a sharply curving shape.  The beak.  He crouched, pressing one hand, then the other flat against it.  It was warmer on one side that caught the sun.  There, with his hands cradling the immense beak, his heart just dropped.
Fuck. It was worse than seeing the sad wreckage of animals alongside the road.  Senseless death of things in the wrong place at the wrong time, where their only flaw was getting in the way of humans.  This probably wiped out his kharma from never having hit so much as a chipmunk himself.  Taifun was dead because of him.  No doubts about that.  Taifun would have lived until the desert.  Until the oasis where Feng Mahti, desperate and betrayed, drank the poisoned waters to follow him down while Lin-laozi watched.
He hated that part of the books.  Read it once. Might have had to scream into his pillow in outrage. Lin-laozi had just . . . walked away from the corpses of the bandit king and his bird, left the well dripping with black malice and resentment in a complete 180 of his beliefs and that  . .  Jay honestly tried to forget the whole scene was canon because that was some utter grimdark bullshit.
Taifun deserved better.  Deserved better than taking the hit for his idiot ass, better than that horrible bitter end in the sands.  Lin-laozi would never have done that.
At least, if Feng Mahti was here now, they hadn't tried to cross the Wastes into the Empire yet.  Maybe Jay could keep the bandits out of that whole shitheap of a plot twist.  Save something.
He rested his forehead against the cool feathers of the flat forehead, eyes closed.  He wasn't really the religious type, wouldn't know who or what to pray to at home much less . . . on the road, whatever that meant for his spiritual existence anyways, but he hoped that wherever Taifun was, the bird heard.
"I was your end instead of your second chance.  I might not even be Feng Mahti's second chance.  But I can at least try and make some of this better."
