CHEESE ISN'T VEGETARIAN~~????

late night overthinking post about something I just learned about

for some reason I never considered that CHEESE wasn't vegetarian given how some (or a lot) of it is made.

I'd now assume that most cheeses aren't vegetarian by default because I think some of it uses enzymes from the inner lining of the final stomach of calves....

HOW MUCH CHEESE IS MADE THIS WAY???

does that include the cheese packet in some macaroni and cheeses? do I have to be worried about sharp cheddar and the like containing it too?

is this labelled in the US at all or is it safer to just outright avoid cheese?

I hope I can sleep tonight and this doesn't screw it up.....

yet another reason to finally give up dairy and cheese then in that case huh~~?

Well, the fifteen days of Lunar New Year celebration are over, and McDonald’s Singapore is again putting out the McSaver Meals from S$5 onward. Of the three burgers, the Smoky Beef Burger is new. Bought the Smoky Beef Meal Upsize (S$7.20) which comes with a large McShaker Fries (Smoky BBQ flavour) and small ice green tea (+S$0.10). Basically, a classic favourite beef burger, elevated with a smoky mayo sauce, 100% beef patty, cheese, lettuce, and onions, in a soft bun.

For mum, she had the Filet-O-Fish Meal (S$5.50) but I changed her fries to a medium Twister Fries (+S$1) and small ice lemon tea (+S$0.80). Yes, it is the popular fish sandwich with half a slice of cheese in there. According to McDonald’s explanation, the half cheese is not to overpower the taste of the burger.

I was watching 'Revelation' and I noticed something interesting

If you look closer at Adrien's lunch tray, you can see something very peculiar included in his meal choices

There's a whole large stack of camembert just sitting there on his tray, just out in the open for his friends to see, and being as how it has been inferred that Adrien doesn't like Camembert, this must be so confusing for them to watch.

Just imagine the bewildered and baffled faces of Marinette, Nino, and Alya as Adrien piles on the cheese onto his platter, only for him not to touch it and then surreptitiously toss it all into his backpack.

McDonald’s Singapore is back with a trio of Cheesy Truffle Burgers. All three burgers featured melted cheddar and truffle cheese sauce while the all-new creation featuring crispy mozzarella sticks stacked between a savoury beef patty and fluffy buns. I wanted to buy it on the day it was launched but alas, mum cooked dinner so had to wait till the next day.

Bought the Cheesy Truffle Beef Deluxe Meal (S$9.90) but I changed the French fries to the mildly spiced Potato Pops (+S$1) and Coca-Cola to small Ice Green Tea (+S$0.80). The burger came with three types of cheese – crispy mozzarella sticks, melted cheddar, and truffle cheese sauce with a savoury beef patty between fluffy sesame seeds buns. Munching on the burger, I can detect the aroma of the truffle among the sweet, caramelised onions, enjoyed the texture of the crispy yet stringy mozzarella cheese and appreciated the juicy beef patty. Overall, I really liked cheese and truffle combination in this new burger.

As per the usual, I got mum the Filet-O-Fish Meal (S$5.50) with a medium French fries and a small Ice Green Tea (+S$0.80). Our fish burger comes with a miserable half slice of cheese. I want to know if Filet-O-Fish in other countries comes with one or half slice of cheese?

Predicting Lunchly's downfall and why.

There's a lot of reasons why Lunchly's downfall will happen. From the 'beef' between the creators and reviewers, to the controversies, and to the ridiculous advertising, I'll lead you through all of that today.

So what I'm first going to talk about is the 'beef' going on between the creators of Lunchly -KSI, Logan Paul, and Mr. Beast- and other big YouTubers -Dan TDM, Tommyinnit-. A lot of people have ruled out buying Lunchly because of how KSI was treating Dan TDM over valid criticism, saying this is like a money grab. KSI then posted to X -formerly Twitter- a YouTooz of Dan TDM as if to say he's 'money grabbing' as well. KSI as well has a YouTooz made. A video of Dan was also linked onto X of him reviewing snacks as if to say he was a hypocrite. It was revealed the video was sponsored and he never told his audience to go and try these foods. A lot of fans thought that it was bullshit that KSI was trying to find ways to 'call out' Dan TDM because he made a valid point. The three stooges made a product that child fans can buy and buy again, which is something you can't do with merch.

A few weeks or so after the KSI vs. Dan TDM drama, Tommyinnit had mocked Lunchly, and Logan Paul was not having it. So he began to pull out screenshots from past conversations, and tried to find things on him people would 'hate' Tommy for. The internet sided with Tommy in this, including Jacksfilms.

I also think this product will eventually flop because of the controversies surrounding Mr. Beast. Parents and adults are not blind to what's going on. If you don't know, Mr. Beast is facing multiple allegations, from having child predators hired onto his team, from treating people's safety on the set of 'Beast Games' horribly. A YouTuber by the name of DogPack404 has been covering this drama along with 2 other platform creators, Rosanna Pansino and Jake Weddle. They've come out with their experiences, as well as reviewed videos, proving parts are faked. Mr. Beast not responding to these allegations is not smart because it shows he must be guilty of some -if not all- of these allegations, or are trying to make them go away.

Lastly, the design and creativity is horrible. It's an exact knockoff of Lunchables, with little to no difference besides a Prime and a Feastable. They have no new or fun products, the designs on the packaging are bland, and the colors contrast too much. If you look at the Lunchables packaging, they have warm and bright colors, and sometimes have characters on the packaging, like Transformers One characters. Lunchly has red and blue packaging with big text. Nothing cool. And they only have 3 products while Lunchables have at least 4, with multiple pizza, nacho, and stack'em variations. They also have other products, like dip'ems, kababels, and even grilled cheese and sub sandwiches. I will admit, having 'actual cheese' rather than a cheese product is great, but the marketing is awful. Mr. Beast, KSI, and Logan Paul did not know what they were getting into when they started to make this product. No amount of 'Thick Of It', marketing, or 'Lotteries' will get me, and many others to buy this product.
