old Donkey Kong Crew redesigns

Tiny was the first I wanted to do for obviouse reasons. I kept her being taller then Dixie cause it's funny but tried to keep the spirit of her original design, also allude to some trivia about her like looking up to Candy and also being into machinery. (but actually she's not tall, Dixie's just small for a chimp)

Candy was also for obviouse reasons lol. I just wsnt her to look more like a gorilla... but still wanted her to be super feminine (not to side tangent but the solution to objectified characters isn't making them a "tomboy" lol)

and then there's Chunky! my main gripe with him was he had too many colours and an unclear fashion sense.. also there's too many blue characters so I wanted to spread out the pallete. I was aiming for more of a typical "good boy"

Cranky get's the least doodles cuz I hated drawing him lmao. really, I only wanted him to referance his younger self a little more (I just realized I didn't write his name lmao)

Wrinkly was only done cuz she had too many designs so I wanted to narrow it down. but I think I also just wanted to make her funny.

and finally I SLAIGHTLY changed Dixie. it's only the earings and sideburns but still. look at the cute monkey couple!
