Saw the first Beetlejuice the other day and Catherine O'Hara doesnt get the credit she deserves.
The script doesnt go out of it's way to make Delia Deetz unlikable ( it does show she's a decent person at heart in the end) but Catherine's performance really is what makes Delia endearing.

'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' Movie and 4K Review
The following review was written by Ultimate Rabbit correspondent, Tony Farinella. When the sequel to “Beetlejuice” was announced, movie fans all over the world were excited for its release. The original 1988 film has long since become a Halloween classic and required viewing every October. I thought the original “Beetlejuice” was okay, as the style and the tone of the film didn’t always connect…

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024): Everything New is Old
The 2024 horror sequel film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is on the verge of almost being a disappointment. Everything in this new film feels old. A backward glance at the 1988 iconic horror comedy. This one, in places, feels outdated. But in a good way. The story Following the original story, Lydia Deetz, her mother and daughter; Astrid return to the house where it all began. Soon, Astrid is causing…

The Wild Robot (U): An Animated Treat For Kids and Adults Alike.
Uncover the touching tale of 'The Wild Robot' as Roz, a robot seeking her purpose, takes on the responsibility of raising a gosling in a future shaped by Global Warming.
A One Mann’s Movies review of “The Wild Robot” (2024). Again proving that Disney/Pixar is not the only game in town, Dreamworks Animation brings us “The Wild Robot”. I must admit that the trailer really didn’t do much for me. But the actual film is really delivered with some panache. Bob the Movie Man Rating: “The Wild Robot” Plot Summary: It’s a post-Global-Warming future (the Golden Gate…

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice: ...Beetlejuice? 👀
A fun, wacky trip down prosthetic-laden 80s horror/comedy, complete with the return of some OG favorites. Story? What story, lol. It’s your classic “help, I’m trapped and I can’t get out” cube rescue formula, packed with irrelevant characters and way too many subplots. It’s like the writers couldn’t decide who to kill off first, so they just threw everything at the wall to see what stuck. But…

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024)
I don’t have strong feelings about the original Beetlejuice. I definitely saw it as a kid (although the Saturday morning cartoon spinoff was verboten in our God-fearing trailerhold), and, through the magic of channel surfing and intermittent cable access in my adult years, I’ve “rewatched” it a few times since. It’s a fun one, although most of that fun comes in the form of the underworld…

I'm just gonna go ahead and tell you, although I'm going to wait and just stockpile Beetlejuice Beetlejuice goodies for myself until people have had a chance to see it, but I'm happy to say Beetlejuice Beetlejuice lived up to the hype and vibes of the first one. I know sequels can be hot dog-shit sometimes, especially in such beloved franchises, but this one was really good! 🥹

It's Showtime! New Poster Reveals Official First Look and Title for 'Beetlejuice 2'
It’s actually happening! In 1988, Tim Burton released his second feature – a horror comedy called Beetlejuice. At the time, this wasn’t expected to be a tentpole, or a huge blockbuster of any sort. But the movie defied all conventions and expectations of what a quirky and hilarious studio picture could be, becoming a massive success and the legend it is today. Following its release, there was…
