Alucard falling asleep in random places around the Belmont Estate because he feels safe there and rarely sleeps well at any other location, usually getting very poor rest for months on end.

The Belmonts just laughing about it, because it's the most feral old uncle thing ever.

Alucard going on so many "back in my day" tangents whenever he has to babysit the kids, it's honestly painful for the poor little guys. The kids enjoy the impromptu classes on swordsmanship and knife handling, but their brains do genuinely go numb from the lectures by the time that their parents come back to resume parenting.

The Belmont adults considering the lectures as their own quiet revenge for all of the times that their kids have called them old.

Alucard not knowing how to let people know when he's touch starved because he's a proud, pompous idiot.

The older Belmonts randomly ambushing him with hugs and (platonic) smooches because they've learned to notice this over time.

Headcanoning that Dhampirs, while still in need of both blood and human food, don't need to eat as often as humans in order to remain healthy.

Alucard, having inherited some of his father's situational awareness, frequently forgets to provide himself with any sustenance at all. His mind is so entirely occupied by world saving and knowledge acquisition that he genuinely forgets that dhampirs have needs in the food department, he'll say that he's fine after a week of eating nothing and then just:

He's literally a doctor for humans, and it's not like he doesn't know his own biology, but god forbid he pay attention to his own meal schedule for five fucking minutes.

Ya know, Castlevania tackled the concept that life after defeating Dracula could be difficult for a Belmont with Richter feeling like he’d lost all purpose and reason to go on living if not for saving others and fighting against something—

But, do you think any of them before him felt that way too?

I mean it sounds kind of miserable, being raised your whole life to be solely relied on for one moment… and then what? How do you handle the sudden shift to ‘not being needed anymore’? Evidently, most of them didn’t have very much happen to them after the events of their games since we don’t get to know—

But, do you think any of them ever got better? Do you think anyone before Richter ever learned how to live for themselves? Did Richter?

Anyway it’s 8 PM and I’m sitting around wondering if any of the Belmonts were still happy after their happy endings (debatable if certain ones got happy endings tbh but anyway), Konami can u check on them, I’m worried—
