Sabine tried not to bounce on her toes in glee. The anticipation was almost too much to bear. “I bet he doesn’t even have a jawline underneath all of that,” Sabine whispered conspiratorially. “People with weird beards are always compensating for something.” “I can still hear you,” Kallus sighed. The door cracked open. “I truly think this is more important to you than you think it is to me.”  “Don’t be shy,” Ezra crowed. A grin that matched Sabine’s had slipped into his expression. “We have to get the full picture.”

for What Do You Do With an Eeepy Kallus, for some reason I started a fic where Kallus just falls asleep random places because he never gets enough sleep??? And I have no memory or writing any of it

Kanan’s theory was that Kallus had missed out on so much sleep as an ISB agent that his body was making up for it in the here and now. Sabine’s theory was some form of extreme sleep apnea. Ezra would always chime in with the ever-stupid theory that he had been cursed by a Sith Lord in his youth; eye rolling always followed that proclamation. Cassian Andor had no such imaginings: in his opinion, it was just the plain old honest-to-Force brand of insanity that only occurred around one Alexsandr Kallus. Which is how he found himself hauling a very unconscious ex-ISB agent by his ankle down one of Yavin’s many dirt paths. It wasn’t the first time Kallus had fallen asleep at his desk, but it was the first time that Zeb wasn’t around to strong-arm his boyfriend out of Intelligence. No one else had volunteered for the job, which had left one beleaguered Cassian Jeron Andor to try and figure out some way to drag 195 centimeters of dead weight all the way to the barracks. Suffice to say, he was not thrilled.

this might go fall under the same category of the first point, but perhaps my very favorite thing about cassian jeron andor is he knows when to shoot and when not to shoot. he flings his rifle into the mud (according to the novelization) when he has to shoot galen but doesn't hesitate or bat an eye when he realizes he has to kill skeen. incredible.

he. always. comes. back. to the people he loves. he comes back to ferrix and when they part ways they say he'll come back for us. he climbs the data tower against all odds because jyn needs him to. because he believes her and welcome home and everything. no grave could hold his body down etc etc

“Cassian Jeron Andor!” Y/N shouted out loudly from the bathroom in her and Cassian’s quarter, on Hoth base. She knew she was not supposing to be furious towards him, but this time she really pissed of what he had done. It is just like his second nature before they married.

“What is it, love?” Cassian, who was wearing and apron and standing at the small area, where they could prepare and cook simple meals. He turned around, seeing that she grabbed his towel in her hand. He knew the consequence, sweet and innocence smiling for her should calm her down. But it did not help at all.

“How many times I tell you not to hang your towel in bathroom after you taking a shower!” Y/N frowned, trying not to look into his pair of those big brown eyes (and the glistening in them, sometimes). They almost got her every single time. “Your wet towel is gonna grow toxic fungus! And don’t make me mentioning about bacteria and germs! Are you a nine years old boy…”

Cassian didn’t argue or bicker back like previous. Today was his day-off. He had planned for a long time on spending the precious time with Y/N, nothing could worsen his mood today. He smiled at her while listening to her complaining. His delightful expression made her quirking her eyebrows – demanding for the reason why today he was unusual.

“You know, you are hot when you are angry.” His voice was flirtatious. Just like he said. Her eyebrows, her redden face, her mouth’s thing and her behaviour – it might not amenity in others’ attitude – but for him, they were adorable and pleasant.

“This is not the time, Cass. I really mean it! Do not charm your way out off trouble! The temperature here is proper, it makes fungus spreading and causing virus!” She continually complained, suddenly she was hugged by Cassian. His pointy nose on her cheeks, while his stubble tickling her jawline and the neck. “Cassian! Stop!”

“If you want me to stop, try me, darling.” Cassian saw that she was doing nothing but be grumpy. Finally, he smirked, carrying her onto his shoulder and ignoring her protesting, from a small kitchen to their bed. Of course, she did not stop yelling until he peppered the kisses all over her face and her lips.

ahhh Great Sipo/Mimban project aka The Thing Itself aka the Breaking of Cassian Andor -

2- favorite part to write- the literal last line? 😂😭

Okay that feels like cheating for many Reasons lol but once I had an inkling of that line just - I knew what I wanted the story to do and BE. Wildly I'd gone back and forth on including that connection in Sipo but realized we needed it to really get the full understanding of where we meet season 1 Cassian.

Otherwise- the scene with the major in the firing range. They're both playing games and they both know it and that moment when Cassian can either do the brash thing or he can bide his time and wait for his moment - the dynamics were GREAT fun to sketch out.

3- hardest part to write- The back half of the Fest chapter. I knew the punchlines with the sister and the census but actually trying to pull together the Empire Day concept and getting Cassian in the orbit of Jeron's family gave me many logistical headaches. It's the only part of the fic I remember getting a major reimagining after an initial draft existed.

absolutely. i mean we talk about anya wearing his shirts all the time, but his little scarf?? vests?? yes. those too. dmitry's got longer limbs than anya but maybe he steals her coat for fun. can we consider him wearing her necklace 🧐👀

11. Do either try to hide their emotions if upset? Can the other still tell?

anya will try to conceal her feelings but dmitry can always tell, it's written all over her face. i feel like dmitry tries to spare her from his unpleasant emotions but, even if she can't tell What he's thinking, she can see something is on his mind. (and she finds it incredibly annoying that he can read her so easily but he's always been so difficult to read)

30. Your OTP gets to pick out each other’s outfits; what is each wearing?

in a modern au, i feel like this is what they would pick out for one another 😌 anya likes him in a (patterned) button up and dmitry likes her in a skirt. what can i say <3

if we're talking something swanky, she would definitely pick out that maroon suit he wore to the parade opening, and he's always gonna pick out something blue for her <3 (lowkey believe in canon he picked out the blue dress for her and she picked out his blue suit for him, but that's another post to make)

I feel like they're really Weird about it at first lol. like since their upbringing wasn't exactly Relaxed they don't really know what people hold hands for? what's the purpose? what are you doing, stop i need that? why would you even consider kissing me in front of god and the entire rebel base hello?? but later as they get a little more secure with each other they're really chill about it. They aren't super touchy-feely in public, but sometimes they'll hold hands during a briefing or something.

21. Who would get into a fight to defend the other’s honor? Who tends to the other’s wounds?

Jyn definitely throws hands with anyone who even looks at Cassian a little funny. but it's fine bc he cleans the blood off of her knuckles later <3
