TV’s number one crime-solving nun is back in action—and will be celebrating the holidays this winter.

Filming has started, in and around the Cotswolds, on the fourth series of the BBC Studios drama Sister Boniface Mysteries, created by Jude Tindall. It will air next year on BritBox International and on UKTV’s U&Drama in the UK. It has also been announced that the show will return for another feature-length Christmas special this December, written by Tindall and directed by Paul Gibson. “It’s brilliant to be back with the gang for series four,” said Watson in a statement. “I feel very lucky to be part of such a lovely show and can’t wait to get cracking, solving crime in the Cotswolds sunshine.”

In addition to Watson as the Vespa driving, crime-solving, Catholic nun, also returning are Max Brown as DI Sam Gillespie, Jerry Iwu as DS Felix Livingstone, and Ami Metcalf as WPC Peggy Button. The Series 4 guest cast includes Les Dennis, Katherine Kingsley, Martyn Ellis, Mina Anwar, Ed Birch, and Daniel Laurie.

The Christmas special features the Great Slaughter Amateur Dramatics Society (GSADS) pantomime. This year it’s Cinderella and with the appointment of a celebrity director the pressure is on to deliver their biggest and best performance yet. Rehearsals begin, but soon cast members start dropping like flies. Can Sister Boniface catch the killer before they strike again? Will GSADS give the public the festive theatrical treat they deserve? And, most importantly, can Sam and Felix pull off a polka in a pantomime horse?

Also coming up in the series, a bucking bronco goes haywire on the set of a game show, a killer scarecrow stalks the streets of Great Slaughter, the Scottish invade, a femme fatale drops to her death in a stunt gone wrong, and CC Lowsley (Robert Dawes) has arranged some team building. Meanwhile, Reverend Mother Adrian (Carolyn Pickles) is keeping a secret, and it could tear the Sisters lives apart.

What are all of your sapphic ships in bojack?

Ooh, interesting!

So in regards to this post I absolutely do not think Diane and Pickles should actually get together. It would be extremely detrimental to Diane's character arc above anything else. It's just a nice hypothetical.

My main sapphic ship is Diane and Princess Carolyn, but in an extremely dysfunctional way where they get together and break up 2 weeks later after making every possible mistake they could make.

Other than that my sapphic ships are mainly reduced to bit characters such as Dr Indira and Mary Beth, and the Celebrity Stealing Club, and those two background girls from Mr Peanutbutter's Boos, which I think says a lot about the number of women we even get in this show (let alone those who are romantically compatible in any way).

I wasn't going to post today, but the part 2 of this AU is already done so....

Pickles is unironically my favorite character here, I have big plans for her.

Like last time, it's Instagram's original description so it might sound confusing in some parts.

Bojack and Rand being swapped was the easier choice because, to be fair, they're kinda similar. Buuuut also so different the plots will have to change a lot, especially their relationship with Diane and Reagan. Rand used to be, well, a famous actor in sci-fi sitcom: one that has a way better reboot and where Brett stars. He's very bitter about all of this obviously. Reagan grew up in the celebrity world but was never truly part of it. She prefers to just write for it and support Brett. Meanwhile, Bojack used to be Cognito's CEO with Herb (and Diane's dad ig), but he was kicked out and now is Diane's roommate. They have a mostly peaceful relationship, but are terrible influences for each other.

And about Pickles:

Alright, let's go! Pickles wasn't swap with anyone, she's her own character, I guess. She works at the PR and Media Manipulation department with PC and is a kind of a "fake influencer" that tries to manipulate her public as Cognito wishes. She doesn't think it's very nice, but they convince all she does is worth it. Besides this little thing, she's living her dream job with an amazing boyfriend and friends she loves… Right?

Her plot won't be so different from canon, what'll change is her relationship with other characters and the fact she's there since the start (when PB met Diane, he was already dating Pickles). And she really, really admires Diane!! She thinks Diane is smart, fun and even says how "she wishes to be like her someday"

So when PB eventually cheats on her… with Diane of all people… Everything hits Pickles a little more, but she tries to understand. Their relationship can still work. She can forgive. She can forget. But, in the moments she feels the worst, she can't help but look at the people that works with her and compare to the public that watches her all time. Why do the people that seems to truly cares about her are the ones she's paid (very badly) to manipulate? Pickles is confused.

This is gonna be long so I'm putting a cut under this paragraph but TL;DR: I'm having feelings about living so close to where I did as a kid but not being able to access the things I did then.

Since moving back to my childhood hometown, it feels like I'm surrounded by ghosts. I'm only two streets away from my old house and my elderly neighbor still lives nextdoor. She was like a grandma to me when I was a kid but I can't see her now even though she's still there. I wanted to bring her a painted rock because that's her favorite hobby, but my mum said I'd probably just scare her.

Grandma Carolyn always painted rocks to look like objects or food. Her house was filled with fun knick-knacks. A rock plate with a rock sandwich and rock pickle were on a shelf by her front door, she'd always offer it as a snack when my brother and I came over after school. A giant pencil hung in her kitchen and she'd use it to write her grocery list, she used the tiny pencils in her drawer to write her recipes.

On my way to work today I drove past my old friend Megan's house. It's doubtful that she still lives there 14 years later. We were in Girl Scouts together, rode the bus together, and always said we'd convince our parents to let us play outside of school/activities but we never did. I wonder who she grew up to be, and if we could be friends again even though so much has changed if we ever ran into each other. She wouldn't recognize me.

I live across from my first elementary school. My first grade teacher and I had been penpals for a while after I moved. I wonder what she would think about who I became. What would she think of the shy and quiet little girl that grew into a burnt out stoner just trying their best to survive?

My dad taught me how to drive a go-cart in that parking lot. That car lot used to be an ice cream parlor. That Dashmart used to be an insurance building. I met my older brother for the first time at that Applebee's. So much familiarity and so much change.
