A flavour of liujiu that I enjoy quite a bit is Liu Qingge's loving style of "I believe you can be better" (As in, I believe that inside you there is goodness, I see the potential in you for goodness etc) coupled with a Shen Jiu who is in or is moved by that love to go "I want to be better"

I enjoy when fic writers also show Shen Jiu going from 'I was born irredeemable and heinous" to "perhaps I can try" to "I am capable of loving someone and my love not hurting them or being selfish"

We can't walk into this expecting a Charles Martinet performance. This is a Kevin Afghani performance of a character whose voice was created and popularized by Charles Martinet, but it's still Kevin Afghani.

It's gonna be different in a lot of ways, and as much as I'll miss Charles I far prefer Nintendo hire someone new over them of reusing Martinet voice clips until the end of time. But!!! I also really unironically like squeaky stress toy Mario? Something about it is so extra silly I can't help but smile. Peak "just a little guy" energy.

I feel like every fandom ends up with some degree of mismatch between the actual content vs the fanworks. Like, What Manner of Man has comparable vibes in my mind to Dracula, Midnight Mass, Hannibal, Interview with the Vampire, etc. Very much the vibes of vastles, antique gold, red velvet, you get the picture. But the fandom(s) are like... what if we put flower crowns on everyone? What if they were all working at the same coffee shop? What if they were husbands?? What if the priest was kibby :3

Valkyr Prime No Forma Queen Steel Path Circuit Armor Strip Deluxe Build AKA Can We Get Much Higher

There's room for improvement (like adding forma and maxxing out the other arcane), but I don't feel like it right now.

Here's the Valkyr Prime mods & arcanes setup. Use Terrify (Nekros helminth) over ability 3 for armor strip ability. Use these archon shards to get the 100% armor strip too and good energy economy. Feel free to ask about any of these mod or build choices, this build is from like 2 years ago that one of my partners helped me set up and still going strong. Delusion helmet and Gersemi skin for appearance.

Prime Talons mod setup. Blast damage is the current meta as of December 2024 so you can see the original before Damage whatever number update point 0 we're at now compared to the original build.

Equip Naramon, it's extremely important for power scaling and end-game level damage.

Fully ranked up Power Spike is the only focus school stuff you need, but having the waybounds unbound is always good for operator/drifter survival, combat, and movement.

Manage your energy economy by getting parazon finisher kills on eximus units if you start running low, just edge the health bars until you see the prompt and your energy will shoot up to almost max if not max. More than half the time arcane energize should kick in and give you a boost on top of the archon shard energy boost (not sure if the effects of the shards and energize multiply/stack or not as I'm not a build math gal but it feels like it does).

Here you go @issilya and anyone else wanting a no forma Valkyr Prime that scales well into higher levels.

I'm going back to bed the moment I post this but I've been having a super rough and stressful night... so for whatever reason I went back to read some of the kind asks I've received since I saved a lot... some since the first time I started writing... and I got so emotional and just began sobbing haha.... I can't believe how lucky I am...... I love writing so much.........

I know this goes against the Customer Service Canon but after three years of mostly being at home alone due to unemployment, I actually feel like it's been doing me some good being in my new customer service role where I have to be nice to people and act out being in a good mood. You know that rule about how faking a smile still releases the happy hormones? Feels kind of like that.

Like don't get me wrong, I'm still an introvert by nature so I'm exhausted when I get home. And I still get fussed at by angry patients sometimes, I still get rude people. It's not a walk in the park. But even when I wasn't working, I still ran into assholes everywhere that could ruin my day. Meanwhile being in a job where I have to interact with people and be helpful no matter what has led to me having a lot more positive interactions in a day than I've had in years. I get people expressing gratitude to me. I get to actually feel like I'm making a difference in someone's day and that I'm needed. Really feeling the pack animal dopamine that I've been deficient in for years that just isn't possible to get through the internet.

Ah so many pokemon deserved megas….but one I think should have got one was volcarona! It’s one of those cool pokemon that I’m kind of surprised didn’t seem to be considered for a mega, especially when audino is the only member from gen 5 to have got one. But got two paradox forms, so it’s all good :3
