@w@ I know I'll be thanking myself in the future for it, but fuck is editing the prologue of Twins AU taking forever. There's just....... so so much. Aaaahhhh....

#Never mind that I keep being unsure if something needs to be reworded or changed #Cause like. The writing itself isn't /bad/ or anything #but my skills have definitely continued to improve since I wrote this #and that's important to acknowledge because that's why I'm polishing it up now #It's rougher than I would like and I think the changes I've made ARE improvements #Like #Vast improvements #but you know. I know this goes against the Customer Service Canon but after three years of mostly being at home alone due to unemployment, I actually feel like it's been doing me some good being in my new customer service role where I have to be nice to people and act out being in a good mood. You know that rule about how faking a smile still releases the happy hormones? Feels kind of like that.

Like don't get me wrong, I'm still an introvert by nature so I'm exhausted when I get home. And I still get fussed at by angry patients sometimes, I still get rude people. It's not a walk in the park. But even when I wasn't working, I still ran into assholes everywhere that could ruin my day. Meanwhile being in a job where I have to interact with people and be helpful no matter what has led to me having a lot more positive interactions in a day than I've had in years. I get people expressing gratitude to me. I get to actually feel like I'm making a difference in someone's day and that I'm needed. Really feeling the pack animal dopamine that I've been deficient in for years that just isn't possible to get through the internet.

#I regret to inform the introvert hermit site that human interaction has been good for my mental health after all #devastating news #I still don't think this role in particular is my forever job because it's so hectic all day #literally nonstop Go Go Go the moment our practice opens #and that leaves me really drained #but overall I can tell there's a marked improvement from having interaction forced upon me

I'm going back to bed the moment I post this but I've been having a super rough and stressful night... so for whatever reason I went back to read some of the kind asks I've received since I saved a lot... some since the first time I started writing... and I got so emotional and just began sobbing haha.... I can't believe how lucky I am...... I love writing so much.........

#I'm sorry I think I'm just in an emotional mood today lol #like I forget all the time that #people actually read the things I write #when I thought no one ever would #when I dreamed of wanting to make my silly dreams a reality #and I have so much to improve upon still #but like. I did that #I made all those things #wiping my snot and tears on my big fat aki plushie rn #for so so so long I felt I could never be myself #but now there are so many people who appreciate me when I am being the most true version of myself...#I just read one of the asks someone sent me where they said #'i think with your writing I can tell just how much you love to write'#and then it just made me burst into tears lol....#it's so lovely that someone would say that and YES!!! #I think people treat others on here who share any sort of news like they’re actual professional journalists and we’re not #I genuinely don’t think a single person on here is #We’ve just taken it upon ourselves to share the news bc the actual journalists are the ones who mince words and have ulterior motives etc #But usually if someone on here makes a mistake it’s an honest one & they will rectify it if you notify them #You do not have to attack them or say they’re misleading on purpose like I think most ppl on here #Don’t have that sort of agenda. At least the ones who’re fighting for legitimate causes like Palestinian and Sudanese genocide etc etc #I just hope no one on here gets attacked in light of the Samara situation #I just think we should be more open to making mistakes instead of jumping to bad faith interpretations #News have to be accurate but mistakes r also ok and usually a simple communication resolves it #Tumblr is the bad faith interpretation website so I’m not surprised but I also think we need to be more graceful #Bc how else can anyone improve / learn more etc etc #Whenever someone on here shares an opposing opinion it’s not that I dislike that or want to intentionally suppress it #It’s usually just framed in a very inflammatory way that doesn’t even give me the opportunity to give my side and might motivate other ppl #To think I’m basically like a normal journalist who intentionally misleads 💀💀 I am An Iraqi Girl Who Is Trying To Help #At least this has taught me how to gracefully own up to mistakes and take accountability etc that’s pretty cool #Bc even w all that said I think it’s important to hold urself accountable if u do make a mistake regardless of intention.#We just shouldn’t demonize making mistakes bc how can someone grow Ok I’m done

This is, uhh... quite literally, the Sun! He's a character created by Owlygem (or OwlGams on Twitter) I made that one bit of art you sent in the ask, but there's loads more drawings of him made by the creator. He's meant to be a sort of personification of the Sun, or a soul projection. Sun's existed for a while alongside lots of other planet personifications that Owlygem has made, but I think only recently an actual comic panel or two of Celestial Somebody has been released
