The OFC Women's Nations Cup was by far the smallest tournament from July 2022, but it wasn't without interest. With this post, my accounts of all five of the international women's tournaments that month are under way.

Ok I barely join some popular media they're more like the quiet ones sooo

So uhh Napolington -

I usually stick to one ship in a fandom and call it a day,but in the end Love is love and as long as it's not really problematic I'm fine,Like when I first joined the Napoleonic fandom I stayed with my pairs till this day and those pairs were..(It may be in order)

ok but genuinely I was relieved knowing they're relationship was pretty good (yk more support to the ship rather than just saying they both liked looting-)The letter from Massena also helped and I like imagining them interacting in my head which IM NOT TELLING YOU OR I WILL GET TAKEN TO THE PYSCHE WARD/but genuinely every knew irl or fannon interaction thats positive makes genuinely ecstatic and full of Dopamine(overall I like a tired grumpy man with a...tired...and old man idk)

Berlix- I heard somewhere Berlioz just casually calls Mendelssohn "Love" or something like that overall they seem quite nice for eachother that's all

Prokshos:I love them SM (Rns_williams drop another Prokshos fic and MY LIFE IS YOURS/SRS)I love the escalation from admiration to rivalry between them and even in the end Shosty still cared for Prokofiev:)

Vivaldi&Bach:They seem honestly so sweet for eachother.Bach's admiration for Vivaldi was so big he transcribed a handful of his concertos (And I think transcription is like a compliment since your spreading the work of an artist you think is great)Oh and look! They're blue and red what a twist

Paganini& Vivaldi: Literally those "AngelxDevil" gacha trope, They're also both Italians and from what I read Vivaldi was considered a Virtuoso before Paganini came in,Id like to see more stuff ABT them

Bones and All (dir. Luca Guadagnino).

Based on travel writer Camille DeAngelis’ 2015 young adult novel of the same name about teenage cannibals, this late-’80s midwestern road trip film adaptation treats its central affliction as a carnivorous biological need passed down through an inherited genetic disorder akin to carnivorous drug addiction. Our romantic leads, Taylor Russell and Timothée Chalamet, are bonded by their shared grisly appetites for human flesh while drifting across America’s heartland in a ramshackle stolen pickup truck.

What follows is a hauntingly aching cross-country adventure of strange self-discovery and spirituality on the run. Russell and Chalamet’s arresting portrayals have an almost muted vampiric-like quality with its barbaric body horror elements so subdued despite the ravenous source material. It’s an odd but romantic cannibal drama of unusual attraction that’s deeply upsetting despite a rather sweet central relationship built on mutual trust and understanding.

There was a small sigh that escaped Andre's lips as he left the hospital. Conversations like he just had with his father were never fun, the man insisted on paying for everything. But Andre wanted to earn his own money, but it was the same thing every time he even tried to bring it up, use the trust fund and call it good. That wasn't good enough for Andre and he just wanted to earn on his own. Now he just had to figure out who was hiring or maybe make money off from his photography. He would have to think about things and what his plans were.

Andre continued to walk, shoving his hands into his pocket now. The breeze was nice actually and he enjoyed it a lot. Hearing someone's voice, that was when he turned around and saw the brunette. "What kind of flowers are they?' He questioned, with a small smile on his lips. Maybe he would take them, maybe he wouldn't. He wasn't sure yet.

It was closing time for the shop and Camille was more than happy to go home. Her creativity was at an all time high today and she had created a few too many arrangements with African Blue Basil flowers that came from her own garden. She had decided that she'd hand them out to strangers as she walked back home. It was one of the main reasons why she loved her job. Although her boss wouldn't approve, she didn't care. Who didn't love randomly receiving free flowers? She locked up with the arrangements in hand before heading home.

There was a small breeze on the walk home that felt like gentle kisses on her face. It was pleasant and she was glad to finally be outside for the rest of her day. It wasn't long until she saw someone ahead of her. "Hey!" Her voice was a little loud which she needed so that they could hear her. "Would you care for some flowers?" She asked, holding out the bouquet. "It's on the house, and by that, I mean free."

I struggled a bit with the name changes, I wanted to try to give them Norse or Icelandic names. I ended up switching Klaus and Kol’s names. I went with Erik for Rebekah’s name because I couldn’t find a good male variant of the name Rebekah that sounded like even a little bit like a Viking name.

Bones and All will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on January 31 via Warner Bros. From director Luca Guadagnino (Suspiria, Call Me by Your Name), the 2022 cannibal drama is currently available on VOD.

David Kajganich (Suspiria) penned the script, based on Camille DeAngelis’ 2015 novel. Taylor Russell and Timothée Chalamet star with Mark Rylance, Michael Stuhlbarg, André Holland, Chloë Sevigny, David Gordon Green, and Jessica Harper.

I agree on your view on Damian. Budget professor. And the way he was so pleased when Andres said "Damian is the brain". I get it why martin and sergio weren't in it. It was a bad heist and an easy one the way I look at it.

I think I’ve read all your Berlin reviews but I’m still not sure why you don’t like Dámian? For me personally he was one of the only new characters I actually cared for so now I’m scared that I missed something dubious he did/said

Oh no I don't think you missed anything! It's not personal to the character of Dámian; in fact I actually agreed with his view on love (as opposed to Berlin's; this was before it was obvious that they're both clowns in matters of love). I guess my reaction is irrational and based on the fact that my knee-jerk reaction was to see him as a "budget" Professor, and I thought his character only existed because Alvaro Morte had other acting gigs lined up and couldn't be in this show. (Of course, I could be very wrong because they couldn't have used Sergio as a narrative foil to Andres in terms of his view on love, since Sergio couldn't have been married for 20+ years).

I honestly didn't even realize I was negative about the man? I'm still pending a rewatch from episode 3 onwards, I hope to sound less like I have something against the dude. Especially seeing how one of the dumbass jokes I kept making about the new team was that I'd probably write Berlin/Dámian (or Dámian/Berlin) just because their ship name would be Darlin. I am a certified idiot, please don't think that I know what I'm talking about. ;__;

Dámian-related, Andres says that a heist needs one brain and for this heist, the brain is Dámian's.

I kept thinking about that line (which I misremembered and just re-watched to get right) and it sort of sounds TO ME like the heist was Dámian's idea?? Which is in line with my original thought that the gold heist was Martin's idea, and we know the Mint was papa Marquina's and then Sergio's, which means Andres' main contribution wasn't the brain but the ego and skill and dick-game. What do you think? Is Andres also a heist mastermind like his father, brother or Martin (and Dámian) and I read that line wrong?

(lol ironic how Andres was line ONE BRAIN PER HEIST PLEASE and then the whole team didn't make for a single whole brain between them)
