Huh, this is the first time the call to prayer has been loud enough to be heard in my room. There must be a good breeze passing the nearest mosque. Whoever it is has a great voice.

“Church” in this country (UK) is not working! How can we tell other countries, how to do church worship, if we get it so wrong? Instead of being superior to others, we need to look at ourselves and be honest.

The world needs the gospels but so do we in the UK. Christianity in the UK must take an honest look at the steady decline of the church.

It’s not working in this country, so we need to look closer to home. Our models of church cannot be that good, because Christianity in the country is dying.

We need to get out and spread the word. Open the doors and step out in faith in Jesus’s name.

People will see what they see, people working for Jesus, not behind walls but in daily society.

We have to make a difference, the time is NOW, NOW, NOW!

We need to know where we are at, with our own individual relationship with God (“The Big Boss”) and work accordingly with others.

How can people come to Christ if they do not know him? HOW?!

It’s time to break down barriers and build bridges, before it’s too late…

Bridges that lead to THE BIG BOSS!

Waiting upon the Lord is our responsibility.

Providing strength is God’s responsibility.

Wait upon Him; Trust Him.

He will fight for You.

Learn to speak life.

Give God time to work.

When we discover our purpose for the season, we will know how to posture ourselves for the faithful fulfillment of our destiny.

This is why we need to pray for PEACE. With peace, you can give thanks in all circumstances because peace is not determined by your surroundings. Peace comes from a secure understanding of who we are in Christ and who we are to Christ.

Giving thanks in all circumstances means you look to the Lord and you cry to him for strength.

Look back at your Darkest moment, you survived that period because the Lord is with you.

Even when you have to walk through the valley of the shadow of death, please understand that the Valley is not your destination. It is something all of us have to go through. We will have to walk through some valleys that will really be difficult but it’s a journey that we’re going through. We’re walking towards the light; towards our Lord. He is our hope and strength, and he is our God.

And even though there are many things about tomorrow that we do not know; there are a lot of uncertainties out there, we know that God is a Dependable God is generous and God’s opportunity is our opportunity from weak to strong. He’s extending that to us.

We know who holds our future; we know who holds our hands; we know who is with us. In God, Christ and the Holy Spirit, we will never walk alone.

What steps should we take to receive peace from God?

It’s not easy to be joyful, but we have to try our best to find our joy in the Lord. (v4)

Be reasonable to everyone (v5)

How do we be both joyful and gentle? (When we are anxious?)

Recall the example of Paul. He rejoiced always because He knew that God is in control.

Pray (v6)

Pray about EVERYTHING; an act of absolute surrender to God.

To bring to God, not just the tough times when you feel stressed; it’s also about the good times when everything is going well.

Maintaining a prayerful attitude and position of your heart.

There’s nothing too small for God; there’s nothing too big for God; and there’s nothing certainly too unimportant for God.
