I love the portraits of the Kiramman women.

(I should mention that I don’t know the LoL lore—I’ve never played it, so if I’m way off, I’m playing my ‘joker card’ here!)

I really wanted to put the images of these portraits up close here so we can all take the time to look at them.

Next, I have to say we’re lucky they kept having children with all this badassery, aka lesbian energy 😆.

In the first portrait, we see a bow—precision shooters, mother to daughter. Ships in the background with one ship in front; she seems to be looking at it, probably with a desire to set off on an adventure?

In the second painting, we see the Kiramman woman standing on a boat (or at least near the water), holding a spyglass. We can assume she realized her mother’s dreams (and her own) to explore, and the Kiramman key lies on the desk.

I find the spyglass quite symbolic, as it represents both exploration and curiosity, as well as precision marksmanship (like a rifle scope).

In the last one, we see Cassandra seated at her desk—the same desk where we immediately find Caitlyn. with her screen and the device to insert the key.

On Gifmaking:

So season 2's coming soon, and I wanna reflect on making gifs ever since I came back to Tumblr. I can't believe it's been 2 years of making gifs for this show!!!!! Look at how large my folder is lmao

And those are JUST gifs lol

Anyways, over time, my style has changed, especially how I color edit Arcane gifs. I kind of strayed away from a stylized filter color into just something that looks a lot more "natural" and works with the original scene.

Initially, I thought I'd save time, but I ended up not using my old arcane preset PSDs and resulted to coloring almost every scene manually. So in the end, it takes even longer to make them HAHAHA. It takes around an hour and a half for me to make a 10 gif set, basically. It also helps that I have a photography background, so coloring/editing is a lot simpler for me.

Here's a lil before and after of a dark scene (hiiiii viiiiiii <3)

Arcane is a REALLY dark show, but it goes for most of TV shows. Many of them are darker and harder to bring up the lights to make stuff look nice as gifs. Some people don't like to color their gifs, and that's okay. I personally just like color edited gifs more.

I've started learning how to upscale scenes myself, so that I have a better resolution and leeway to make things look "HD" more.

If you're wondering why my stuff look so "crisp", it's a combination of the scene's lighting, my sharpening settings on Photoshop and knowing how to upscale everything into 4k resolution. Of course, doing this needs an extremely beefy pc, which I am very lucky to own one.

Here's another before and after of a nicely lit scene. These are much, MUCH easier to do than all the darkly lit scenes because of shadows and lighting (caitlyn kiramman truly the rizzler <3)

I've been very lucky to be able to essentially take a nice, long break for like a month doing nothing after being so damn busy for the last year and a half, so it's nice that I was able to make a ton of gifs and be chronically online for a short while LMAO.

It's been so fun! But it's time to go back to reality lmao. I closed reqs for a bit because I was just so swamped with them the last few days, and I wanted to gif scenes that I like this time. I've done like 2 weeks worth of gifs. And you will see Vi a lot bc she's on my mind a lot heehee 🥰what can I say, she's such a babe <3

Here's a lil sneak peek, just look at herrrrrrr 🥰🥰🥰 and yeah, 4k upscaled resolution really helps making these tight crops, it's why i never went back to 1080p lol. It's how I’m able to make zoomed in gifs look decent (like the kirammountains gifset lol)

Thank you so much for all the support, likes, reblogs, and the nice tags you guys give. Yes, I can see and read all of them (both the nice and nasty ones lmao). If you have nothing good to say about the characters or my editing style, or anything related to the edit, please I beg you, just write a separate text post about it <3 If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it in my edits.

Tumblr is sadly not what it used to be in the 2013-2015 era. There’s definitely less activity as time goes by, so I appreciate all the people who credit and link back to this sideblog. Unfortunately, there’s more people who just repost them and it gets wayyy much more traction in other soc med sites. Yeah, ofc I get a lil jealous, but eh what can you do 😞 can’t really stop em.

I also don’t like putting watermarks because it personally looks tacky to me, but I understand why other people do it.

asdfhsf ok i saw the ask about why does nobody care about jinx and vi's relationship (v rough paraphrase i know) and like. YES AGH. i am a newcomer like literally just started and finished arcane this week after having it on my watch list since it came out and so ofc i try to peruse through the tag to find some Good Takes and its just. mostly about viktor x jayce or caitlyn x vi. and (understandable) thirsting over sevika. this is i think the first time in a show were im pretty meh about the lesbian ship. i saw their chemistry and am pleased it went there because it worked and made sense story wise, but really im kinda hoping for them to stay separated? (at least as of s2e3, obvs my feels may change) which again, a first for me, but i think the most compelling things about the show center on vi and jinx, and caitlyn's character does a lot to help move vi's character towards A/The Point. and when the fandom at large seems to focus on the romance that is very much not. really The Point. its :/.

tho in the beginning i thought they were going to pair jayce and caitlyn which wouldve been disastrous for zaun lmao glad they didnt.

i am a pretty big sucker for caitvi (i would be lying out of my ass if i said i haven't watched the kiss scene like 20 times already), it's just not my main focus right, so i think caitvi being separated really gives way for vi and jinx to have an opportunity to explore their relationship which is what i'm here for and what the show is about. as of right now with s2e3 i am VERY on the fence on whether or not i want vi and caitlyn to be together, it truly depends on how they handle cait's redemption arc

i think the heavy focus on caitvi from the fandom is fine. i don't judge anyone for watching the show for caitvi, i honestly think that's valid as hell because caitvi is great lesbian rep! (of course, i will always wish for more doomed sibling art, fics, etc.) not sure how to explain it, but sometimes the way people talk about caitvi feels completely removed from the show itself that they feel like completely different characters lol

2. Which is your favorite episode? Why?

Episodes 1 and 7. The first one is just so fun and action-packed. We get to see three different cases in process, we see the boys having some downtime, it’s the only time we really see the two of them alone in a casual setting. It has some of my favorite shots in the series (Edwin jumping through the mirror, Charles pulling Crystal out of her demon trance, the train turning upside-down) and is just one of the best pilots I’ve ever seen. Episode 7… it speaks for itself I think. But for me I love angst and the way suffering strengthens relationships in the long term. The direction is incredible and George Rextrew looks great covered in blood lmao

8. A headcanon you have (that you haven’t seen or talked about yet)!

My headcanon is that Kashi was supposed to be a recurring character that they run into once a season or so, and it’s implied that he is the main character in his own adventure story but 90% of it is off screen. He’s just a regular human guy who explores and ends up in Situations and also has plot armor so thick that nobody knows if he’s immortal or just extremely lucky. I will die on this hill.

19. Favorite actor from the show?

OOOOAAUGHHH this is a hard one. Caitlyn Reilly was the *only* actor I knew going into the show, but after watching it I really like Jayden’s energy and Joshua (Monty)’s enthusiasm. I’m not much of a celebrity person so it’s mostly just based on vibes and how much I enjoy their characters lol

Y'know what, Belos is lucky Jasper didn't exist during Enoch's timeframe. Kids are the one thing that consistently manage to break Jasper out of his brainwashing.

Jasper like "child? in the castle? castle child? live-in castle child? easy access to live-in castle child??" :D

Jasper: *doesn't actually know how to talk to a child* Enoch: *isn't a normal child anyway so it all works out*

Caitlyn wouldn't trust him as far as she could throw him at first because she doesn't trust anyone in the EC, but she can't tell him to leave them alone, and she certainly isn't going to ask BELOS to tell him to leave them alone, because Belos would probably do the exact opposite, the asshole. Over time she still doesn't come to trust Jasper but she starts tolerating him. Ahaha god imagine the first time she sees his face its while he's still new and she hates it cuz of how much he looks like Tell and maybe she manages to say something that has him flinch a bit and from then on out he doesn't take the mask off around her. And then the next time she sees his face its cuz he took the mask off with a wince while he didn't realize she was there and she sees the fresh scars. Ouch.

Enoch keeps seeking Jasper out because he's actually willing to teach her how to put someone in a headlock. Belos is too self-centered to realize any of this is happening. OR Belos says "stop teaching the sick child how to fight" and Jasper goes "well he didn't say I couldn't teach you about POISONS" and Enoch's just like, awesome, you're a very useful resource and I might even not hate you.

At some point Jasper puts together that Enoch is a Grimwalker's kid and Belos is an asshole. Caitlyn opens her door at 2AM to find Jasper on the other side like "hey I'm about to dig up a baby and hightail it out of here, if you wanna join me pack your bags."

Things proceed much like MH except Caitlyn's the one clutching a dirty newborn stumbling around the castle ruins until she finds Jasper. Enoch is pissed he didn't invite her to the impromptu Kill Belos Party.

And then, y'know, they go to the Owl House, except it's Dell and Gwen and the girls.

Jasper and Caitlyn would make an interesting…not power couple, but something. A platonic "we're in this hell together" couple. If nothing else they have the traumabond of being trapped under Belos's control and being terrified for their kids' futures. Jasper's got his Grimwalker trauma and Caitlyn has her Loved A Grimwalker trauma and years of getting intimately acquainted with everything Tell was terrified of. Jasper like "I wish I'd been smart enough to figure it out sooner" and Caitlyn like "he would've fucking killed you and we both know it." Jasper like "I wish I could be more like Tell, he sounds so much cooler and smarter than me" and Caitlyn blinks like "only because no one talks about you the same way I talk about him" and then fixes that.

Meanwhile Eda and Lilith are like "why is Cousin Enoch scary" while Gwen is like "that's just the trauma, sweet fleas, be nice!" and meanwhile Dell is just sitting here like. Okay. His sister is alive, and was in a relationship with a Grimwalker, who is dead, and now there's ANOTHER Grimwalker of the same person, who is not his sister's lover, but he's his sister's SOMETHING because traumabonding, and there's a BABY Grimwalker, and also there's a niece who he had no idea existed who is personally offended that she didn't get to kill Belos herself despite being 12. What even is his life anymore.

Jasper showing up at her door like hey if this is weird you can go back to sleep but do you want to help me kidnap my baby and or murder Belos?

Jasper and Caitlyn aren't romantically together but they're still definitely like. Together, in a way. They're both living together and raising their kids together. I guess it's more like two siblings raising their kids together or two roommates that both have children. They're a parent team. Like if MH Alador and jasper were living together lol

a lot of them are in my ramblings tag, but I can cook something for you real quick

s1 will always be special to me regardless of what happens in s2 because it was every character's introduction and it was done so well and coherently. I have a soft spot for all of them for different reasons. Also, I had been playing LoL for a while before Arcane was dropped so it was super cool to see them on screen like that! I had hoped Vi would be gay, but to see it actually happening was so fucking awesome. I could be more eloquent, but you get my point lmao

Vi in s1: she would do anything for the people she loves. This girl went from being selfless and reckless to emprisoned against her will and for no valid reason, thanks to Marcus and his dumbass. It still didn't change the core of who she is. She's devoted to her people and she's even fighting Silco's goons in prison. She's incredibly lucky that Caitlyn showed up to get her out of there and I love that scene so much. You can see how much they both care about the greater good and it makes for some delicious angst.

Caitlyn in s1: underrated and misunderstood so much as a character. She's naively righteous and we can see it when she's a little girl as well as later on. She was born in wealth, so we can't expect her to have only correct opinions when exploring Zaun, but she tries and that's at least commendable. She's very people oriented despite having clear goals of her own. Her entire character is so interesting to the point where I have no idea how she'll behave in s2 after such a tragedy. It'll fundamentally change her I'm sure.

Interestingly! Even if we do take Caitlyn's excellent sniper skills into play, she actually did miss her shot with Jinx. Vi doesn't move to deflect Caitlyn's shot in episode 3, her hand just happened to be in the way and ended up hitting her gauntlet and not Jinx--who Caitlyn had in the scope. So it's entirely possible that Cait would have messed up some how. It reminds me of the Chem Baron's son being killed by Jayce last season. He was so blinded by anger and the need for revenge that he murdered a child, which Caitlyn could have done as well. And Piltover dehumanizes Zaunites so much that they wouldn't even have thought about punishing Caitlyn for killing a kid.

The reason Caitlyn doesn't have Jayce's moment of clarity is due to a lot of external factors but possibly most importantly was that she didn't kill a kid. Even Vi barley reacted when the kid in S1 died, she just saw it as another Piltover killing another kid from Zaun, happens every day. That's the type of violence Vi and the Zaunites had to become used to, because they knew Piltover doesn't see them as humans, just animals.

Also the language Caitlyn uses with Vi in Act 1 is clearly a reflection of Piltover's bigoted thinking and that the ideology of bigotry is so pervasive that it seeps into everyone. Even the most progressive of Piltover's citizens is likely to fall prey to the idea that Zaunites are somehow subhuman and are deserving of their hate. Caitlyn accuses Vi if being "one of them". She's no longer "one of the good ones" once she starts going against her wishes.

That Kiramman coat she was wearing at the end of episode 3 was so sexy she's like if a vampire was a lesbian

Caitlyn is an EXCELLENT shot. She doesn't miss, so she has no reason to believe to she would miss this time. She WOULDN'T miss... right? Well, that what she believes, but in trying to stay strong in the aftermath of her kidnapping, followed closely by her mother's death, and trying to step up to take responsibilities she isn't ready for she is completely blinded to how she is completely freaking out, having almost full blown panic attacks at the mere possibility of facing Jinx. She is so lucky Vi was there to stop her.

She isn't thinking rationally, and she has a tendency to do that: be guided by her emotions. Think back to her handing over her gun for shimmer to save Vi, trusting a stranger completely and being vulnerable with him in gratitude only to have him betray her not long after. Naive, sure, but it was a mostly good thing when the emotion taking the wheels was sympathy. Now the she is being reigned by a mix of anger, grief and fear? All the while trying to put on a facade of strength? Babygirl is done for. She is primed to fall back to harmful beliefs, and she has no one to stand up and confront her unraveling thoughts: her mother is dead, Vi feels too guilty to properly confront her and then gets hurt by her, Jayce is... I don't even know, to be honest, and people in general are too intimidated by her name and her money. The only person willing to do something about it is Ambessa, which... doesn't bode well for Caitlyn, at all.

I believe she will recover, though lol we're getting her back, she's hopping on that butch strap, we shan't despair😌🙏🏼

Caitlyn has always been one to run toward danger, not away from it. Jayce learned from a young age that if Cait wants to do something, she's going to do it, consequences be damned. He doesn't think Vi is a great influence on her survival instincts, either. Regardless, he knows that they have each other's backs. So he shouldn't be worried...right?

After three days of no communication, because Caitlyn left to chase a lead Undercity, he's getting worried. It couldn't hurt to check on his pseudo-little sister, just to make sure she's okay.

Lucky for Caitlyn and Vi that he does, because when he finds them they're beaten half to hell and in dire need of a helping hand.

Do you think Korra, Vi, Asami, or Caitlyn play video games? If so, what do you think they’d play! I feel like Caitlyn would think shooter games were too inaccurate and get mad at them lol. Always love to hear your headcanons!

This is such a fun question!

Here's what I think if they all played games;

Korra likes Dark Souls/Diablo/Ghost of Tsushima/FIFA... she used to rage quit Souls games, but as she got older she's mellowed and just likes the challenge.

Vi likes COD/The Last of Us/HALO/UFC... she's a fuckin bro and uses slang that confuses Caitlyn to no end. She's very competitive, but when a kid is online she censors herself and helps them out.

Asami likes Cities: Skyline/SIMS/Animal Crossing... she loves cute things and chill games.... but does tend to kill Sims in the most creative of ways.

Caitlyn likes XCOM/strategy games... No one gets why she likes these games, but they accept that she does. She likes being challenged mentally. Asami did introduce her to Breath of the Wild, which she does enjoy for the puzzles and world.

Mario Party/Mario Kart/Super Smash Bros night is chaotic with them all. Also, Korra and Vi love Mortal Combat, but Caitlyn and Asami are actually better at it because they remember the combos (specifically the ones you can spam and take advantage of). Korra tends to win in Mario Party cause she's lucky af with her rolls, Asami wins in Mario Karts, and winners of Super Smash Bros vary.

It's a tradition of mine to post my end-of-the-year music list. I used to get music questions + recommendations all the time. This goes back to the days of the Hypster Music Player we used to have on our pages (remember those lol) before the DMCA roll out.

As a heads up, I'm a violinist with a BFA in Music and Audio Production. I'm a timbre listener first 🤷🏽‍♀️. No surprise there. Some people listen to music for the lyrics first, melody first, a catchy hook first, etc. I'm a tone color and texture person as it relates to vocality, instrumentation, and the arrangement/combination of frequencies altogether. pt. 2

the one part of the episode i felt a negative reaction to my part is Jayce turning on Heimendinger as quickly as he did. yes, they have had their moments of disagreement but to force him into retirement? i’m not sure how that’s helpful. also what kind of message does this send to Piltover? they instate a new council seat and then a day or two later remove the oldest one? keen-eyed citizens would take note and this reveals a shift but also a vulnerability of those in charge and thus to the city as whole. it makes me nervous.

what made it more content to swallow was Mel’s hesitance on voting first in favor of Heimendinger’s removal. you can tell it was a complex choice as, mentioned earlier, she wants to keep her status, she has a huge investment in Jayce, and is she were to turn against him now what would that say about her. also she has sided again Heimendinger multiple times before so to not do so now would be dishonest in the eyes of Jayce. i don’t know what is next for Heimendinger but his severe reaction to the Hex Core, his belief that it is of the same seed of similar kinship to historical magic that has led to destruction, and his removal from the council means he has the time but not the resources to do something about it. will he try something soon or put faith back in Jayce (even when he didn’t have it in Heimendinger) to see if this will develop into something more fruitful? idk.

Sevika walking in the exact same way as before at the end of last episode but being greeted by Powder/JInx instead of Silco was a good call to make—these two needed to have a scene along together to cement their standing with each other. Sevika is a woman of truth and delivers it callously but without a lick of dishonesty. Powder/Jinx tying her up after finding out Vi is around and alive was an interesting way for her to tell Silco that she now knows he “lied” (kinda?). Sevika also gives me the vibe of Vander before he matured, there’s some honor in her that she wants to save the underground but to what that leads to? we’ll find out.

don’t have much to say about Caitlyn this time around but it’s obvious that patience is not a common trait among enforcers and Grayson was lucky enough to see that in Caitlyn and presumably helped her become even more patient in her approach to things. she doesn’t rush Vi knowing she’s hurt, she’s willing to trust the lowest of the low to get help for Vi, and doesn’t force Vi to continue on their journey/escape when Vi finds Powder/Jinx. really wish she didn’t trade her gun tho. i get the feeling she’s really going to need it next episode or so. And Vi and Powder/Jinx (i think once Vi stops referring to her as Powder, i will too FYI). Vi is almost too strong for her size and normal human capabilities but i still love it lol. she nearly kills Silco with a single punch bringing down a building on him. in this building however, she and Caitlyn hold up beforehand and it’s revealed they the two sisters lived there at one point. when to say?… i’m not sure. maybe Vander didn’t immediately take them in(?).

and that was episode 6 of arcane, end of act ii. had a lot of what i was expecting but contained more than i wasn’t. okay, let’s go.

pt. 1

nearly every episode has opened with a flashback containing background on key characters and some minor (such as Grayson included in Caitlyn’s backstory) and this episode was no different.

Viktor is shown to have (almost definitely) been born with his limp/physical disability and so far shown with no parents or guardian figure(—scientist was more akin to a mentor or friend rather than actual caretaker). he also had always been into making, creating new things. like most children Viktor respected and loved nature and animals so he of course would go for the opportunity to help a creature as cute and friendly as Rio.

to make this review more character-centric, continuing with Viktor, his blood from the last episode integrated itself into what he and Jayce call the Hex Core. a magical hex gem with the ability to adapt and mutate when in congruence with organic matter. Viktor not so subtle mentions a handful of the benefits this can lead to including extended life and/or curing Viktor of his ailments. he leaves the lab, somewhat dejected and aware of his deteriorating condition to go find the scientist from his childhood as only now does he understand the desperation and reasoning behind doing what one can and “must” do to achieve specific results (i presume the scientist is creating Shimmer thru organic extractions and mutations because it’s the same one working for Silco and the color is undeniably in the same shade or tone). i hope this works out for him and that Rio hasn’t suffered all these years.

Ms. Young, or Sky, as we now know is her name is intriguing. we don’t know much about her yet but we know the following: she had to have come from the undercity as well, seeing as she at least *saw* Viktor and they were both at the same general location with other children, has an implied crush or interest in Viktor, and doesn’t seem to have the same or similar physical deficiencies as Vik so that even more lends credence to the possibility and theory that Vik was both with his ailment.

Jayce, Mel, and Heimendinger. Jayce is such a good guy at heart (like Vi) but damn… he’s already wrapped in stress and confiding in Mel only after sleeping with her one single time. you can also see the Mel isn’t used to someone coming to her genuinely interested and wanting her help and comfort (shows that she views herself as less respectable then she comes across which, is to be expected since she is someone who is mostly aware of her manipulations and desires and what they can lead to). and she is an exiled, outcasted member of her family yet is seemingly the main councilor (at her young age)… she is much accomplished and this duality makes a lot of sense for her character’s behavior. of course she wants to do much that she can to keep her status and power. she even got Jayce under her thumb. that isn’t to say she doesn’t have good intentions but she is rather open to letting things fall to the wayside if there’s more benefit to her than not.

Summary: What dating Jinx would be like

this is my first LOL/arcane writing so please lmk if something is wrong or needs to be changed

also i don't have a masterlist for these characters but i write for; jinx, vi, viktor, caitlyn, jayce, and silco so feel free to send requests for those ppl

- dating jinx is a very wild ride, and it's something different every day which can be taken as both good and bad

- as we know, jinx is quite talkative so when she confessed to you about her feelings towards you, it was in the middle of a missions which was terrible timing

- but after the mission was a success (because jinx knew if she fucked it up that you would probably think she was an idiot or weak) and you talked to her about it, she was very excited and happy to hear that you had feelings back

- jinx has a lot of nicknames she calls you but the most common ones are "toots", "sugar", "trinket" and "angel"

- call her your lucky/good luck charm ONCE and she'll start crying because no one has called her that and it's the best thing anyone can say to her with her name literally being jinx

- expect to help her through her episodes, because if you don't then she'll feel like she really has no one and that you don't care about her

- when she does have an episode, it can be hard for her to calm down if she's on a mission and freaks out but all you have to do is take whatever weapon she has in her hand and toss it to the side and then hugging her while whispering sweet nothings to her

- now if the roles were reversed and you were the one who needed the comfort then for the first few seconds she would be freaking out as she didn't know what to do (yes, every time) before she would either drag you to her hideout and simply hold you through it or find something to distract you for the time being

- dates with jinx are always fun, exciting, and a little dangerous but she makes sure that there's a good memory for every one

- when jinx first introduced you to silco, he wasn't mad at all, and instead he just said, "well at least she has someone else to be with." with a barely visible smile

- meeting vi was a wild ride, and you were more scared of her than silco when you two first met but after she asked many questions, she smiled and gave you the okay to be with jinx even though jinx was right beside you answering the questions as well

- jinx loves throwing pranks, so expect her to ask A LOT for you to help her with making the contents or distracting whoever it was she was doing it on

- yes that also means she does it to you but not as often but when she does its a fucking mess everywhere because she always says "go big or go home"

- jinx is continuously telling you that she loves you at any given moment because she's worried that one day you'll just up and leave and she wasn't able to say it one last time

- cuddling with jinx can either be amazing or an absolute nightmare and you can never tell which one it'll be before it happens

- for one, she can never pick whether she wants to be the big or little spoon, and two, she can never stay in one position unless you have a iron grip on her to hold her in place

- or just talk to her until you both fall asleep in the middle of a conversation while playing with/re-braiding her hair

- obviously arguments do happen, and there are times where it gets...scary

- does it ever get one of you two dangerously close to being severely injured? it's rare, but yes

- but there are never any real injuries from either of you because of one of you realizing what could happen and immediately stopping it

- hand holding is a must with jinx, and most other forms of pda that she is usually initiating

- jinx isn't just jinx with you, she's also powder whenever you two are alone together and lets her inner child come out because she finally found someone she can be that comfortable around

- she loves finding random things (that are usually expensive and stolen) and giving them to you just to show how much she loves you

- jinx can't cook for shit, she's used to everyone else cooking for her so she has no idea how to cook even if she's reading instructions she somehow does it wrong so you better know how to cook or else silco or sevika are gonna be pissed at both of you for not knowing how to cook basic things

- its not hard for jinx to get jealous, but only because she doesn't understand how people can't tell your hers and so she usually winds up beating up the person flirting with you (or kill them, but she won't tell you that)

- jinx adores neck kisses, not just in the suggestive way, but in a cute way because she sees it as an intimate act and is always doing it, it doesn't matter where or who you're with (she leave marks most of the time)

- to jinx you are her angel that came specifically for her to keep her from going over the edge and to love her always and forever, and the longer the relationship keeps going, the more she believes it, and the more she falls in love with you

To be fair, the lore in the game was a paragraph of text per character and some general voice lines related to combat. If you were really lucky, there'd be a special voice line about another character, or a unique status if you had both characters on the same team (Vi and Caitlyn had "Piltover's Finest" lol). So there wasn't a lot to work with.
