Fuel Pump Cover

The Fantic Caballero has a nice profile on the right, but the left profile is marred by the white fuel pump protruding from the tank.

So, I designed, created, tested, and improved a cover that not only conceals the fuel pump but also its wiring.

The piece simply reuses one of the pump's screws. It can be installed in a matter of seconds and removed just as quickly.

I'm selling this piece for €20 plus shipping for those who are interested. You can buy on ebay or contact me directly to limit the cost.

Centrage de la trappe à carburant

Sur ma moto (et c'est souvent le cas) la trappe à essence n'est pas centrée avec le couvre réservoir. Ce n'est qu'un détail de finition mais ca me chagrine, donc je veux le solutionner.

Pour retirer la trappe, il n'y a que 4 vis a retirer :

Je n'arrive pas à décaler la coque pour la mettre en place. Du coup, la solution est de faire passer une languette souple et solide, entre le réservoir et la trappe avant de tout resserrer.

Et ca marche! A présent la trappe est bien centrée. 👍

EICMAで発表されたファンティック700リポート動画。ドイツMotorradmagazinチャンネルさんから。なんて言ってるのかさっぱり分かりませんが、多分、かっちょいいねえ～と言ってるはず。FANTICサイトによれば、本格的なスクランブラーであり、FANTIC初となるの2気筒エンジンを採用。したそうです。車重は18キロでタンク容量は14リットル、前ホイールサイズ19インチ後ろ17インチ、最高出力75hp、最大トルク6.9kg-mを発揮。来年2023年4月に発売予定でお値段の目標額が10000ユーロ、約146万円としていました。

Fantic Caballero tips, tricks and modifications

Amélioration pratique : vis de selle

Pour retirer les flancs latéraux, ou le réservoir, il faut retirer la selle. Si on bricole un peu ou si on veut pouvoir changer un fusible au milieu de nulle part, on doit donc pouvoir retirer la selle sans outil.

J'ai fait cette petite pièce pour accéder à la vis de selle.

Ce qui est important c'est que la tête de vis appuie bien sur un insert et que la partie en plastique (imprimée 3D) ne serve qu'à la manipuler et la faire tourner.

Et ca marche bien!
