While Luca has warned his darling witch of a wife of spoiling their children, it should be noted that he is a hypocrite.

It wasn’t his fault, New York City was the center of trade of the Free World and now as a true member of the Riley and Family Company, he had more than enough money to burn.

His children deserved it, his Evuccia as well. Besides, their Leoncino went through things like a fire through a dry field and their sweet Rosellina was finally walking and talking and merited gifts.

“Make sure the names of the children are spelled correctly or else Babbo Natale will leave sticks in your stocking.” Luca made sure to take a new matchstick to chew on so the salesman would shit his pants.

-Anatroccola from Mint (she is like a tiny duckling to him), Sol from Leon and Lana/Ana from ma and pa.

-Seafood paella is their fave, xató salad no go, not very picky and no dietary restrictions. Her mama and papa have introduced her to different types of food.

-Her necklace! It was made by her parents, her pa making the strap and ma picking her fave stone: Carnelian.

-Sashimi, doesn't really have much knowledge on his human side lol, he hates oysters (hates the texture), not really a picky eater and no restrictions.

Epiphany

Supposed to post this yesterday on Epiphany, January 6 lol

Dad!Luca and his son Leonardo

For context, La Befana is a witch who gives children on Epiphany in Italy, and in Sicily children get sticks instead of coal

“If you aren’t good la Befana will leave you sticks instead of toys, Leonardo.” Luca wagged his finger at his son who had climbed a tree in the park and refused to get down.

Bribery works with Leo…sometimes.

His father claims he was like that at his age and Eva was just the same, figures their son would inherit that. Luca hopes their little Rosalba is not as active as her big brother.

“But mami is always good and you told her she was getting a stick!” His son defiantly stays up the tree saying the dirty joke he wasn’t supposed to hear.

By stick Luca had meant a good fucking, something he had implied while groping her ass.

“That was joke, Leoncino, your mamma is getting a gift tomorrow.” The gangster remedies quickly hoping this will be the end of it.

It is not.

Leo wants to know what he’s getting her, why he said that as a joke and why his mother said she was counting on getting a stick.

Things that a child needed to be lied to about. After all adults don’t get anything for Epiphany, and he is too young to know what innuendo is.

Now he’ll have to buy Eva something and know the people he extorts and fear him now know Luca is really a husband and a father underneath it all.

By the time Leo comes down, Luca has promised to get Eva more than just flowers and ruined his suit trying to get him down by force.
