Inspired by an enemy in honkai star rail, mans has a sun blessing card that he wears in a pendant under armor, it gives him the boost to become a tank hehhe
His weapons are a big shield and a battle axe, both weapons are double handed since they're so big but Pete has 4 arms so it's an easy job
Pause said he only ever opens MineCraft whenever Etho and Beef ask him if he wants to play with them and he's always down to play. And seeing the three of them constantly laugh at each other is so wholesome.
I'm so glad they're doing CTM maps together again.
🔥 if you were in the life games, how would you play it?
this is such a fun question because i actually will be participating in a re-created double life series soon for fun with some friends!
i'm not that great at pvp, nor at redstone or traps or anything like that, but i dooo loooove me some roleplay and i do loooove me some improv. i like being the bad guy more than anything, but like a dark gray kinda bad guy. if i were at my peak ideal play, i'd be something along the lines of lawful evil. all about deals, all about technicalities, trying to one-up people, taking advantage of others, etc.
now am i skilled enough to do that? probably not. but that's the vibe i'd want my "character" to be.
shoutout to the 2 guys in the comments of that ruins episode with the saint bernard who are litigating the difference between raikiri and chidori and if sasuke's chidori is wholly distinct from kakashi's raikiri. all this just because etho screwed up pronouncing it, allegedly
I ADORE CTM maps. Absolutely love them. I am so fucking delighted by Beef's ep
if my little sister wasn't showing up for a weekend visit in like 3 hours I would be downloading and playing through it rn!! I didn't know they still made modern-MC-version CTM maps
I mean where to even start. it is the greatest game of all time. it is the only game of all time. every criticism of minecraft or minecraft modding i have is couched in that they are probably the best game and best mod ecosystem of all time.
It's also just a pretty impressive infrastructure thing like.... A naive estimate of a chunk's data is >30kb (16*16*128*1byte/block) and w/ elytra you can easily be loading >32 chunks/second. which puts you in the range for streaming video. (Obviously clever optimization and standard DEFLATE reduce that by a lot but it's very clever). So the fact that minecraft performs pretty well on crappy connections and old machines is a real achievement.
i don't even know where to start with some of it! there's a whole generation of people who know what a d-latch is because minecraft redstone has made digital logic more popular than ever.
it's also like... Because it's a game i grew up with it's impossible to overstate how impactful it is when there's a good minecraft update. Caves and cliffs generation or the ocean update or the nether update hits on just such a base level when ravines still feel kinda new to you.
i also gotta find my ctm post but like. i sincerely believe if you want to find the ideas that will be used in people's game-of-the-year in a decade, you should watch what people are doing right now with minecraft CTMs and adventure maps and modpacks.
