AS-500D was a dynamic test article of the Saturn V space vehicle. Seen here on June 20, 1967, the Apollo spacecraft leaves the Manned Spacecraft Operations Building at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center on its way to the Vehicle Assembly Building where it will be mated with the Saturn launch vehicle.
