Disco fanart for day 4 of this fanart challenge! wanted to practice backgrounds more!

its not a super complex background but its good for what i wanted to practice, which was values and using them to convey depth! i think i did a pretty okay job! :D

had killer art block for MONTHS but it finally went away once i started this fanart challenge!! ^_^

heres the first 3 days, official art redraw with Dabi, favorite character with Rick Grimes, and hobbies with Mae and Greg playing their knife game! (kind of a stretch to draw that for hobbies but who cares)

this art block has been killing me but it went away as soon as i started this I FEEL ALIVE AGAIN WAHOO!! if you ever want to break out of art blocj id so recommend doing prompts and also recommend watching art videos!!!

ive been binging art videos! draw with me, sketchbook tours, character redesigns, art studies, art vlogs, sketchbook sessions, anything like that! hearing people be creative and do art just really helps get my brain back in gear and might help some of yall

been a while since i posted any Gotham art so heres some Gotham art ^_^

technically not Gotham but mine and my cousins Gotham "rewrite" basically a new story with lots of inspiration from Gotham! though the characterization of Ed and Oswald is a bit different. Oswald is similar to how shes written in Gotham but actually is extremely similar to Oswald in The Penguin! like shockingly similar it was crazy to watch rhat show and basically just see our version of Oswald on screen!!!

and our version of Ed is kind of hard to describe, think of his personality like a mix of Walter White, Dennis Reynolds, and Gregory House.

anyways i dunno if im gonna start posting Gotham art again or anything! the passion and interest comes and goes so we will see! but heres what i have to offer at the moment its been fun drawing them the last few days! :D

redrew this lego batman drawing again! i am REALLY proud of my improvement on this piece! i think the shapes are so much better, the colors are so much better, the lighting is so much better! i am especially proud of the values in the new version! in the old ones Joker almost blends into the bg because of how i decided to color the balloons! but in the new version i fixed that and made the whole bg dark! and i just LOVE how Joker pops off a dark bg with the yellow light and Batman pops off a light background with the dark shadows! i think the way i colored it really adds to the tone of the scene! making Batman look like the bad guy there. i like it a lot!!!

overall VERY happy with this i love art i love drawing!!!!!!!

i remembered the BNHA fantasy au exists and once i remembered rhat making a BNHA and Dungeon Meshi crossover was inevitable!

i want to make this crossover be more then just the BNHA fantasy au but in the dungeon. i think i want to change the races and implement the magic system from Dungeon Meshi! but this drawing doesnt have any of that in mind its just the characters looking at a walking mushroom.

extra doodle too because Shoto was originally supposed to be in the drawing but he had to be removed because he threw off the composition😔💔💔💔

in my mind Shoto wouldnt question monster food much. i dont think he totally understands the stigma behind it! Uraraka would be curious about it i think, shes a bit grossed out at first but she warms up to monster food quick because shes just interested! Deku is interested in monsters but never considered eating them and is also kinda soo grossed out😭when it comes down to it and he has to eat them to survive in the dungeon hes a bit reluctant! Iida finds monster food gross but tries to act like hes just concerned with the safety behind it, which for the most part he is! he thinks monsters are super dangerous and eating them is so risky but if its that or starving then he will deal with eating them. Bakugou thinks its disgusting. thats just it he thinks monsters are good for fighting and that they are interesting but oh my god he doesnt want to eat harpy eggs or walking mushrooms or kelpies😭🙏

i keep thinking about how Hawks looked in the fight with Twice and man. Dabi would be so into that he is jealous of Twice in a way. like he wishes he could have Hawks look at him with such intensity! he wishes he could have Hawks be so cruel and cold and mocking and cocky👹he wishes Hawks would have him pinned up and he wishes he could be a bit nervous for a moment OH MY GODDD HED LOVE THAAAT! he wishes Hawks would look at him like how a predator looks at its prey‼️🙏

had to make another drawing of the brothers ever😔🙏canon doesnt matter in my heart tbh. this is based in a fix-it au me and my cousin made! ^_^ so this is like 4 years post canon and Dabi is reformed and has an okayish relationship with Fuyumi and Shoto. he is on better terms with Natsuo but they arent close, especially after the whole Dabi trying to kill him thing😭 but Dabi is pretty close with Shoto and Fuyumi !

so yay i get to make fun art of him hanging out with his siblings yipee!!! ^_^

so i had two separate head canons for Dabis height and Hawks' height. i did not consider how their heights would look together.

i just knew in my heart that Hawks was a short king! i just know it in all of my bones hes like 5'1. hes short its just what i see for him! and then a few weeks after i had that headcanon i thought that Dabi should be taller because i dont like that him and Shoto are rhe same canon height! so i decided that Dabi would be like 6ft

(i hc that Shoto is 5'6, Fuyumi is 5'3, and Natsuo is like 6'2-6'3 hes gotta be tall since he is meant to resemble Endeavor the most!)

but yeah i did not consider their heights together. i just realized the height difference i gave them the other day😭😭Dabi would be annoying as hell. he crouches down sometimes when Hawks is talking just to be annoying! or he stands waaayyy too close to Hawks so that Hawks has to look up at him when talking😭hes an asshole!!!
