me, trying to explain the plot of yellowjackets: ok so pretty much jackie and shauna are in love but lottie wants to be the father of shauna’s baby but lottie also loves loves laura lee as well as nat but nat’s dating travis but misty lovingly helps her overcome her grief and THEY fall for each other but misty was also falling for crystal but mari has a love/hate relationship with misty but mari also had a thing for jackie who was dating jeff but jeff is married to shauna but she’s emotionally cheating on him with tai but tai never stopped being in love with van even though she’s married to simone but-

So, I believe changing Medusa into a victim is a little problematic since they have to kill her anyway, and then they don't kill Procrustes despite him murdering people. It was a little strange to me that they changed Hades to being cordial and slightly goofy, since he was more intimidating in the books. However, after thinking about it I think that it's actually accurate to the myths. While, yeah, the Greeks found Hades scary, in his stories he's always very accommodating. He was a very loving husband to Persephone, he let Hercules visit and take things more than once, let Orpheus try to bring his wife back, wasn't involved in the harsh punishments, didn't often get involved in things, etc.

If I could make one change, I'd have him look the same as the books (10 feet tall, black robes, sitting on the throne, 'omg this guy is evil and terrifying') and then the second he talks he acts the same as he did in the episode and then people realize that they got the wrong idea about this guy. Maybe be a little irritated that they're accusing him, but otherwise fine.

An evening snack of toasted Fluffy Cheese Bread with a cup of Milk Tea. My favourite cheese bread from Johan Paris is filled with cubes of savoury cheese inside and topped with more cheese outside. Toasting it made the crust crispy and softened the cheese inside.

Crusty, the Macintosh SE

Crusty was found in a scrapper's yard, having sat out in the rain for quite some time. It was rescued from that yard, and was pretty damaged internally, rusted and not great. It was neither worth repairing, nor had anything to salvage to repair other machines, minus a stick of RAM. Hard drive was seized up, motherboard wasn't great, etc.

Surprisingly, it didn't take much to get it to run 2 years ago at VCF East in 2021. Seeing as there was nothing to lose, the owner then buried in the dirt for a year, excavating it just before VCF East in 2022. It was brought to the show, cleaned off enough to see what was going on, and miraculously, it ran again! Following the event, it was then unceremoniously kicked into a lake where it sat for 8 months, before being extracted prior to the first freeze that could have destroyed the picture tube. It sat in a barn until VCF East this year.

What you see here is how it arrived at the show, followed by the crowd of folks who gathered to watch this chaotic repair attempt by a friend of the owner. It was cleaned slightly, then signed by a number of youtubers, before an attempted diagnostic and repair was attempted. Sadly, the power supply was beyond saving. A donor supply was attached, but it too was broken.

Crusty will return at VCF Midwest later this year, to be repaired at the show with the right replacement parts.

WOOO GO SWINGERS!! Chuck E’s oldest friend returns in a new style, here is rockstar Crusty the cat! He is a very accident prone black cat, hence the bandage and the chipped ear. For this reason he can never quite make the Swinger’s baseball team, though he’s their biggest fan! Something bad always seems to happen! He can be a bit of a scaredy cat because of his “bad luck” but overall he is a pretty laid back cat. He and Chuck E go back a long ways, and ,despite their opposite personalities, are still best friends! Though it is a bit awkward now that Chuck E has a pet cat..
