Iceland was so fucking cool btw

#It's got such incredible landscapes there's just nothing else like it.#Cool history museums too.#The only bad experience I had was the 3km long one lane tunnel which like I was prepared for in theory because I researched the #driving conditions but is still terrifying in practice compounded by the fact that a lot of your fellow tourists don't fucking bother and #are doing stupid ass shit on the roads like not yielding in the side of the one lane tunnel that is supposed to yield.#Thought I was in hell #It's cool how long some of the tunnels are though . I bypassed the biggest one because tolls but hit that 7km one north of Reykjavík that #goes under the ocean. It's just crazy being In A Tunnel for that long #Also briefly passed through part of the highlands on a mountain pass road which was also kind of scary like I'm used to driving on #snow and ice but not with the 40 mph wind and switchbacks and steep edges that you will Die So Badly if you drive off.#I had a great time though I'm so glad I was able to do this

I can cross "threw up over the side of a boat" off my bucket list now :D

BUT IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT WE CAUGHT A SHARK

#I was out trawling today w/ my marine invert class #for like 8 hours today trying to fish up inverts. Squids and crabs and stuff like that #which we found a lot of!!! But we also got a shark on accident and that was really funny #not just bc It's A Whole Shark but bc they're like really hard to find this time of year in this area #bro was just chilling too #we put him back tho don't worry we just checked him for parasites first #anyways like 6 hours into the trip the water got like. Suuuuper choppy #and this dumb ass did NOT take his dramamine #thank god the wind was strong enough it didn't get all over me. That boat needs a clean tho #OH OH WE ALSO GOT A HUGE ASS JELLYFISH MID-DIGESTION #you could see the fish whole trapped inside the jelly. We got to watch it get digested :3 #science is Pretty Cool #crane-talk

was feeling super nostalgic for my lame ass college but then i looked at today's menu in the dining halls hahahahaha all nostalgia gone im cured 💯

#they wouldnt serve lunch on the weekends. they would serve fake breakfast at 10/11am. you would have to wait until 5pm to eat a goddamn #thing!!! and it SUCKED ASS because my weekend days would start at like 7am and 99% of the little cafes were closed weekends too AND. and.#there was no guarantee that the dinner menu wouldnt suck ass!!!!!!!! tonight's menu?? cheese shells and lentils!!! fuck off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#anyways it looks like they switched Late Night from the good cool dining hall to the shitty awful dump dining hall #i would actively walk 10 minutes in sub zero temperatures & high speed winds not to go to that dining hall lol!!!#imagine thinking you needed to fix Late Night (where i went to eat 25 chicken wings by myself and emit antisocial rays) truly there is #nothing sacred in this world

Something I actually am disappointed with in tears of the kingdom is that the main story dungeons (so far) seem really easy, and that's without me cheesing them with technological abominations

I've only beaten two so far but both of those seemed way easy. I think I spent more time trying to kill the boss in the deku tree than I did on clearing either dungeon including their respective bosses.

Idk the puzzles just seem really mid so far which isn't bad but also I miss the challenge

#i might eat all these words later i know #in fact i hope i do #spoilers for the rest of the tags #the temples ive beaten are the wind and water ones so far #the wind temple was harder than the water one imo #although the bosses are pretty cool design wise i just wish they put uo more of a fight #the water temple boss tho #lol Splatoon ass dude i loved it
