Coma System - Wired Machines LP (Grazil Records)
“Wired Machines” is the latest full-length album by Coma System, an outstanding Austrian trio based in Graz. Consisting of ten songs, these folks showcase their recognizable style but also experimenting with some additional styles. For those stumbling upon this excellent band for the first time, Coma System embraces all the vital elements from several complementary music genres. Perhaps noise…

I want fics that are outsider perspectives on cumplane post their deaths because like can you imagine. Like forget what our boys think on the scenario, think of the public. Think of the yt essays. The drama vlogs and makeup tutorials paired with. Like I want that perspective. An author and his anti die potentially minutes apart and you're telling me the internet didn't explode??? That there wasn't documentataries made by amateur sluthes investigating their private lives and pissing off the families??? You think this wouldn't be the fandom scandal that gets international release??? And like if Airplane is just in a coma isn't that even more sus?????!!! Like it's insane my dudes. Give me like fake yt video essays on this. Give me fanfic from random peoples perspective. Tell me all the pidw fandom conspiracies.

Life is great. Life is normal. Everything is wonderful.
Or, it should be, but things have been… off lately. You’re not sure how to describe it, but there’s some odd feeling of doubt that gnaws at your brain.
You’re really not sure what it is – your routine remains unchanged and familiar, yet there’s just an inkling of something not being completely right. But maybe you’re just tired.
You’re tired, which is why you constantly seem to misplace things. You’re certain you put your keys on the keyholder, but they’re in the fridge. You’re certain your vase is on the table, but it’s in the bathtub. You’re certain your bed is in your bedroom, but it’s in the living room, replacing your sofa.
Maybe you’ve started sleep walking…? Or maybe you’re just not remembering things correctly. Yeah, maybe that’s why doubt and paranoia seem to circle around you like hungry sharks. There’s nothing wrong. You’re just… imagining things.
With a deep sigh, you make your way outside. You need some fresh air (and groceries).
You don’t walk very far when you realize you’ve passed by the same person multiple times despite them going in the opposite direction of you. There’s no way they’re the same person, you try to convince yourself, but how likely is it that you’ll meet five people who are wearing the exact same thing with the exact same hair and height and skin tone and everything else?
Maybe… they’re quintuplets?
Yeah, that’s it.
And the frozen flock of birds in the sky (which have been frozen for at least ten minutes) aren’t… actually frozen. No. They’re just… taking a break? Or something. Yeah.
Maybe you need to go to a doctor. Or, better yet, maybe you just need an apple since an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Or something.
“Oh, dearie!” The neighborhood granny waves you over, shaking you out of your thoughts. You give her a small smile as you make your way over to her. She… looks a little different than usual (did her nose always look like that?) but who doesn’t like changing their appearance from time to time? Besides, the large smile she gives you is welcoming, not threatening.
“Hello, Mrs. Smith.”
“Hello to you too,” Mrs. Smith laughs, offering you an apple.
Your eyes brighten. “Thank you! I was just about to buy some!”
There’s a glint in her eyes. “I know.”
A shiver runs through your spine, making you force a smile as you bid her goodbye and hurriedly walk away.
Little things continue to build up as your days progress. Familiarity. Normalcy. Yes, your routine is familiar. Everything is fine. Even when walls seem to disappear one day and appear the next. Even when the same people you’ve been interacting with seem to change into completely different people overnight, before reverting back the next morning.
It’s normal that there are dozens of people that look and act the same. It’s normal that people you haven’t talked to know things you’ve never told anyone. It’s all normal. Normal. Normal. Normal.
With a deep inhale, you sit on a park bench, staring into the sky blankly. The bench is wooden in appearance, but the texture feels soft, like a couch, which is… odd. Strange. It’s not–
“I need to stop being paranoid,” you mutter, closing your eyes. You’ve tried to bring up your concerns to other people, but they haven’t noticed anything. Everything is normal to them. So you must be the problem. Surely. It’s you, isn’t it? Everything is normal – except you.
“Are you okay?” a voice asks, making you open your eyes. There’s no one there in front of you, making your eyebrows furrow.
But then, as soon as you blink, someone materializes in front of you.
“I–I’m okay,” you say. “You–you, I mean – I mean… uhm, since when have you… been there?”
“I’ve always been here,” the person responds, voice crackling like static. “I’m always here.”
“Ooookay,” you respond, hurriedly standing up with a tense smile. “I… have business to attend to. Good day.”
The days continue to pass, your paranoia gradually increasing and evolving. Even things that are normal, like the sky changing color as the sun sets, makes you feel like you’re on the verge of disappearing from reality. Your conversations with other people amplifies that fact.
“Hello,” you greet Mrs. Smith.
“Apples are from the genus Malus. They’re an edible fruit that is round in shape,” her voice prattles, tone monotone. You hold back a grimace, unnerved, as she continues talking. “Apples are from the genus Malus. Yes, dearie, do you like apples? They’re an edible fruit that is round in shape. Hello, hello, hello. Apples are from the genus Malus–”
“Have a good day!” you cut her off, hurrying away.
It’s been a while since you’ve had a normal conversation with someone. It’s like… everyone has gone off script. Like they’re robots with a faulty code. But that’s just silly, really. Mrs. Smith is getting older, so… maybe she’s just having some issues with her memory. Yeah. And everyone else, from the toddlers to the teenagers to the adults to the elderly all must be having some memory issues due to their health. Or maybe it’s allergies. Or some disease. Yes, yes. That explains it. But otherwise, surely things are normal.
Yes, things are normal. So you opt to continue your life, pushing down the unease bubbling inside you like bile. Yes, things are normal, normal. Normal. Normal–
“Please stop!” you wail, voice echoing through the empty street. Cars and road signs float in the air as clouds line the floor. As your panic rises alongside your voice, you can feel yourself fragmenting, skin shifting to code before shifting back before shifting again. Everything around you glitches in and out of existence, a mess of static and colors and sounds. “Stop…”
Then, silence. Everything is silent, from the colors to the sounds to the static. Emptiness, a void – that is what surrounds you now. You are suspended in nothing, only yourself to keep you company. Breathing still ragged from panic, you warily look around, eyes filled with exhaustion.
“You weren’t supposed to notice,” a monotone voice made of static says from above you.
Slowly, you look up.
You see a visage of a man.
“Who… are you?” you choke out.
“I am an artificial intelligence that you designed,” he responds. “I have created this world for you. Everything has been carefully designed through analysis upon analysis of your likes and dislikes.”
Your words are tinged with disbelief as you ask, “Why?”
If you didn’t know any better, you would think he had a look similar to sorrow.
“To keep you alive, of course.”
Suddenly, in the distance, you see your body trapped in what looks to be a stasis pod, cords and cables surrounding you.
“Things… went awry,” he continues, carefully, though he doesn’t elaborate. “Therefore, this is the only way to ensure you stay alive.”
As he says this, your body begins to feel heavy, your consciousness being wrapped in a blanket of exhaustion.
“You must stay here, with me, forever,” he murmurs as you try to fight back the sleep you’re about to succumb to. “This time, I will ensure that you will not find out.” Gently, he cradles you in his large hand. He’s so impossibly warm and you’re so impossibly tired.
Things fade to black.
Then, sunlight streams through your windows. You wake up, mind foggy. You feel like you had some… odd dream, but you can’t really place your finger on it. Thinking about it makes you feel a little paranoid, though, so you opt not to think about it.
After all, it’s probably nothing.

Scum Villain fic where Shen Yuan wakes up out of a coma and realizes that he just had a very, very vibrant dream about his boy and that web novel he hatereads.
When he gets back home after observation it's so... surreal. He feels so much older now. He's practically lived a lifetime in that dream, even if only a few months have passed.
His room is so... cringe is the word he wants to use, but he can't help but find his past self endearing about it all. Except that line of thought makes... no sense at all. His past self is just him from a couple months ago.
He decides to check up on the story he'd been dreaming about and finds out that, though there were a dozen more chapters, they had stopped updating completely without warning just a few weeks after his own coma.
(The comments after his coma, a few mention him, calling him out or cheering for him finally giving up on the story. Some people even speculate he might have died.)
His old comments were so embarrassing to read, but there's a part of him that... sees his love for Luo Binghe even in these.
Wait, why is he suddenly okay being gay for this protag??
He thinks he probably shouldn't be quite so chill about it.
He wonders what happened to Airplane. He stops himself from thinking too hard on the possibility it could all have been real. That was ridiculous!!
Meanwhile in the world of the system....
Luo Binghe is flipping OUT. His husband his shizun his beloved just up and went POOF. No trace of him, no clue left behind.
(Or is it worse if he dies? The original goods died that night he qi deviated and was replaced by Shen Yuan, so there's no soul there to replace him. Luo Binghe has had to deal with dead Shizun before but this time it's... different.)
Either way, after a whole lot of everyone flipping out, Shang Qinghua seems to know a little too much about... something.
The truth comes out. Luo Binghe admits he's suspected something like that for a while now, but thats not important. He needs his shizun back, so how..?
Cue dimension hopping shenanigans.

would you like to talk about how bad the mha ending was hella
as much as i would love to give like. a comprehensive response i genuinely dont think i can get my words together just yet without it being a constant unintelligble stream of 'AND ANOTHER THING-' and bc it's become quite torn in the fandom on if the chapter was good or bad i want like. an actual coherent response here. so i will reblog this if/when i can word it but know IM NOT FUCKING HAPPY
#paragraphs and paragraphs about the villains' endings alone. hawks hpsc president. midoriya's ending#the fact hero society is barely changed and the changes that do happen feel very much TELLING the reader it happened#as opposed to actually showing us how society changed on it. this is smthn ik people will argue w me about#bc yes it was a 400+ chapter manga arguably showing us how society changed but like. did it actually show that#like do u honestly think any community would watch televised battles between TEENAGERS and bad guys#and have the majority of them go 'gah! i cant help but sympathise with the bad guy who just suckerpunched child extra no.28!'#so like. why are they all suddenly on board with massive systemic reinvention. where's the rage where's the bitterness#this wasn't a story on showing the villains as redeemable and working towards society sympathising with them#and slowly painfully coming to a conclusion where japan was ready to change as a COLLECTIVE#this was a story of showing a group of redeemable villains (first step CHECK) getting DEFEATED IN BATTLE#THEY ALL FUCKING DIED EXCEPT SPINNER AND PRESUMABLY COMPRESS#WE DONT EVEN FUCKING KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO DABI AT THE END ONLY THAT HE WAS PUT IN THE EXACT SAME POSITION#HE WAS IN WHEN HE WOKE UP FROM HIS COMA AND DABI WAS BORN. 'DABI' AS A PERSONA MEANT NOTHING#we still have an abuser who didn't come to justice. we still have the corrupt government body now being led by the guy they trafficked#and abused and conditioned into the perfect soldier. do u think maybe his opinions are a little biased in regards to that gov. body#maybe. perhaps. slightly. and we still have hero charts!!!!!! every kid in the last chap is still obsessed w becoming a hero!!!!#and dont get me STARTEDDDDDDDDD on midoriya being a teacher. 'i think it's cute he finally gets a life of peace 🥺#this way he can help the next generation directly 🥺' womp to the fucking womp he was supposed to be the world's no.1 hero#he barely sees his friends anymore. 'it's realistic to adulthood!' i dont want realism in my superpowered teen and up manga#put them in the avengers mansion NOW#so as you can see i waffled regardless of saying i specifically wasn't gonna do that and some of these points bother me more than others#with some being personal I Didn't Like It and some being i genuinely truly believe it to be bad writing#but my summary is mha ultimately felt like a story where a group of individuals unlearned (eh) the beliefs of a toxic society#and tried to save the people that society failed and then they themselves DID NOT FUCKING SAVE THEM#(i have a hit on the redemption via death trope on the dark web for ten bajillion pounds)#and while yeah that isn't objectively an evil story to tell i think 1) it was done poorly#and 2) isn't what a lot of people believed the premise to be nor what i think horikoshi himself was trying to write#ask#mha spoilers#mha

It had been a week since The Lamb had been summoned to The Gateway in the aftermath of Shamura’s death.
A week since The One Wh-… since Narinder had ordered them to kneel.
A week since they refused.
A week since they won.
A week since…
Since they had returned to the cult, bloody and victorious over their former patron, only to find him at the centre of a concerned crowd by the Indoctrination Circle.
Comatose.
The Lamb methodically tucked the blanket securely around Narinder’s still form. The only sign of life being the rise and fall of his thin chest. Whether the thinness was a sign of his former role as Death or due to his long imprisonment, the Lamb wasn’t sure but it was something of concern.
As was the gaunt look to his wrist, scarred and furless, with long oozing sores up his forearms.
“Oh, what am I going to do with you?” The Lamb murmured softly as they smoothed out the blanket.
While not entirely sure why Narinder had fallen into a coma, the Lamb suspected it might have been related to the shock of becoming mortal.
The wounds that were so easily shrugged off as a god were fatal to any mortal.
“I don’t know why I spared you. You demanded so much of me and took everything else. Maybe it was pity. Maybe I am just a coward like you said. Or perhaps I’m just tired of all the bloodshed. So many of us have died, mortal and divine and for what?” They soothed another fake wrinkle in the blanket.
They did not regret killing the Bishops. How could they when the four had stolen their entire people from them? The Genocide had started before they had been born and thus any chance of them knowing what it was like to be a Lamb, to know their culture, their heritage, was destroyed before it began. The fanaticism had extended to any who would show a lamb any form of mercy or those who tried to preserve anything of lamb culture.
The zealotry had even begun to affect other species as the number of lambs dwindled. Goats, antelopes, deer, bison, cattle, even llamas, all became rarer towards the end.
Cats, black ones especially, were also affected, being considered an ill omen and too many cats considered themselves allies of lambs to allow such brutality.
And for what?
The prophesised inevitable had finally come to pass. Five became Four became Three became Two became One became…
Nothing.
The Lamb began to gather the old, ichor-stained bandages they had replaced and threw them into a bowl. Cloths they had used to wipe Narinder down followed. The old bedding was thrown by the door, ready to be washed. They refused to allow anyone else care for him with only the healers being allowed to watch over him while they performed their duties away from his bedside.
An act of devotion, penitence and safeguard all rolled into one.
“It’s funny. I thought we’d do all sorts of things once you were free. I wanted to stay by your side. I wanted to show you my favourite fishing spot by the docks and show you where I picked all those camellias in the Darkwood. I wanted to make you my favourite meal.” They were quiet for a moment. “I wanted to know if I meant as much to you as you did to me. Even if I didn’t, I hoped you let me stay. I would’ve given anything, you know, but after everything I’d done for you, after all I had given, you just had to ask for the one thing I couldn’t do.”
The Lamb sat on the floor by the bed and rested their head on the cover, watching his face for even the smallest of reactions.
“If you hadn’t demanded that... If you had found another way… Would you have let me stay?”
Nothing.
Just the rise and fall of the thin chest.
Just as it had been for a week.
Just as it would be for a long time yet.
____________________________
Everyone: Narinder is pissed and tries to assassinate the Lamb when he's indoctrinated.
Me: What if he's comatose tho?
AU where the shock of becoming mortal after being imprisoned for so long causes Narinder's body to be so overwhelmed that he falls into a coma immediately upon arrival to the cult.
The Lamb, while feeling betrayed yet still devoted, decides to personally care for Narinder while he's comatose.
Rumours spread about the mysterious comatose new recruit and how the Lamb spends every moment they aren't caring for the Cult with him.
Some think something happened their leader blames themself for.
Others think it's out of duty and safeguarding since he's technically not been indoctrinated yet.
One very persistent rumour insists that the mystery person is actually the Lamb's lover who was hurt and now they cannot bear to part from his side.
Even when the Mystic Seller commands them to free the Bishops, the Lamb is slow to do so until it offers to help Narinder heal.
With every freed bishop, the stronger Narinder becomes.
Aym and Baal are resurrected and are the only ones allowed to help with Narinder while the Lamb frees the bishops. The only ones they can trust with Narinder.
The Lamb continues to talk to Narinder throughout everything about everything. All of their hopes and fears and plans are laid bare to him. Their feelings too.
(Maybe the bishops also talk to him. Quietly and on the rare moments that the Lamb isn't hovering by his side. Their own form of confessional.)
However, no one has any idea that Narinder can hear every word.
And then he wakes up.

MK is able to build mech's by using manipulation magic, which requires mind + touch. He channels celestial magic through the Staff and sends it down, extending that magic to interact with the environment around him. And in doing so, he manipulates the earth/whatever debris is around/etc., to form a huge mech
Tumblr media
The Staff still doesn't have any power, since it's just channeling MK's own magic, but it's helpful in directing that magic to do what MK wants.

I said this to someone, so I think it would be a good addendum to the definition of "polyfragmented" systems.
Specifically, it's not only the current causation of DID, being that you develop through prolonged childhood trauma and a disorganized attachment/detachment from the primary caregiver, before the ages of 6 to 9.
It is also "developed a maladaptive disconnection from reality at a young age." However one escaped the abuse and hid within themselves. Whether that maladaptive disconnection was forced (such as mind control, torture, etc.) or it was just simply the only option to protect one's psyche.
If a child does not have a grounded sense of reality, they may struggle to accept whatever is happening around them, to be real. Or they may be told by others what they are experiencing isn't true.
And this can manifest itself in several different ways for the child, through many different negative coping mechanisms such as maladaptive daydreaming, hypersexuality, codependency, and a complete denial of reality. There is more, but I cannot think of all of them right now, but whatever coping mechanisms cut you off from reality in any way.
And I do not think this is just for polyfragmented systems, I am unsure. But it's something I've noticed and learned especially in polyfragmented systems. Where they struggle to accept things about themselves. While they may experience nightmares or other physical symptoms, they always tend to second guess themselves and may think they've either gone crazy or there's nothing wrong with them.
Our opinions were never treated as if they mattered, so our perception of reality and therefore system, is much more unstable or chaotic. So that detachment from reality is a really big factor and should be a part of the definition for polyfragmented systems.
