this take is actually …. kinda common 🥲 sorta. it was a whole thing back when s2 was airing!!! lots of people were shifting the entire blame of suguru’s defection onto yuki/theorizing that she was a villain…. ik that’s not exactly what you’re saying though!!! i can understand that she comes off as a little suspicious 😭😭 i personally don’t think she manipulated him or was trying to do so, but she obviously had a big impact on him!!! sometimes i wonder what suguru would have done if she never told him that non-sorcerers are the sole cause of curses being born…. i’m sure he would have found a reason to kill them regardless </3
