This is an unpopular opinion. But if someone comes to me venting and talking about killing themselves, I'm sending them the number to a suicide crisis hotline. I do not give a FUCK who you are, I'm sending you the hotline. I've stopped like 4 people from killing themselves and after the first 3 I do not care. We may be online friends, but as someone who WAS suicidal and went to a mental hospital. It may seem terrible then, but it gets better. It may not feel like it can, but if you reach out. Your parents can't stop you, and if they do your gonna get taken regardless. The Pythagoras Trio is everything. They have a guy who wants to be loved but gave up on it so focused his sights on lashing back at those who made him feel that way but somehow found people who loved him, making him desperately try to return that favour through the work he excelled at instead of by sharing who he really was. They also have a guy who grew up trying so hard despite being average until he miraculously got his dream but that was because of his brother, and even after he found his true talent he struggled with inferiority. And they also have a guy who basically sparkled with talent that was cultivated by someone who was using him to feel good about himself, a guy who loves so much because he was so lonely and desperate for friends and yet was ripped away from it because he could not abandon a friend who left him.

They're teammates. They're best friends. They're narrative foils of each other. They have violent fights. They understand each other like no one else can. They can't understand each other fully. They have the drama, the support, the angsty breakups and divorces, the emotional getting back together, the brotherhood, the comic relief trio role, the secrets - they really have it all.

8. aside from hands, it's front-view faces. i don't use symmetry tool for it unless they're just standing like 🧍‍♂️ so whenever i flip the canvas i go ohhh my goddddd it looks so wonky, then i draw on the flipped canvas to correct it, flip again, n so on until it looks good to me. liquify tool is also my best friend for this.

16. ngl the secret way to motivation is... have a blorbo. you have no idea how much power they bring out of your hands. currently it's jiyan so whenever i had to study art or practice smth i just draw him so it doesn't get boring. powering thru all these comms so at the end of the day i get to draw jiyan :3

the whole "if you don't reblog every piece of art you see, you hate me personally" attitude is so weird bc at its core is the idea i see in all the new-user guides that tumblr has no post-recommending algorithm. which. is blatantly untrue. y'all just talk about how much you hate it and you all have it turned off. idk man.

i'm sure that part of it is also the bizarre opinion that likes are equivalent to bookmarks, and reblogs are equivalent to likes. that's... also not true. everyone has the option to make their likes public, it's just that every new-user guide also recommends you turn that off. likes are likes, reblogs are bookmarks.

people say it's great that you can hide your liked posts from your page, but also if you don't put every post you like on your page, you're doing it wrong? there's just. there are like three layers of hypocrisy here and it melts my brain every time.
