10 things to do after exam before results
Every student's life must include exams. The exams are over after months of study and hard work, and students now have a lot of free time before the results are released. As students anxiously anticipate their results, this period can be both thrilling and nerve-wracking. But, it is also a time to unwind and rest after a period of rigorous study. Ten things to do after exams before the results are released are covered in this article.
Tumblr media
Taking a break
After exams, you should take a rest. It's time to unwind after months of hard effort. Spend a day or two relaxing and doing something you like. Take some time to revitalise your mind and body, whether it be by going for a stroll, reading a book, or watching a movie.
Follow your interests
You might have had to put your interests on halt during the exam period. It's time to return to them now that the exams are completed. Spend some time doing the activities you enjoy, whether it's cooking, painting, or playing any musical instrument.
Spend time with your loved ones and friends.
Exams can be stressful, and you might have had to limit your social activities in order to concentrate on your study. Make it a point to spend time with your family and friends now that the exams are over. Have a movie night, have a family supper or catch up with old friends. After the exams, this is a fantastic way to relax and de-stress.
Travelling
After exams, travelling is a fantastic way to unwind and revitalise. Travel may help you relax and experience new locations, whether it's a weekend vacation or a month-long excursion. Developing fresh insights and learning about other cultures can both be accomplished through travelling.
Learn a new skill
After the exams, picking up a new skill can be a fantastic way to keep your mind occupied. Learning something new may be exciting and difficult, whether it's learning a new language, programming, or joining a dance class.
Volunteer
Giving back to the community and gaining new experiences are both significant benefits of volunteering. Volunteering can be an excellent way to change the world, whether you're working at a nearby food bank, a hospital, or an animal shelter.
Begin a new project
Beginning a new project might be a terrific way to keep yourself active after the exams. Starting a new endeavour, whether it's writing a book, beginning a blog, or starting a YouTube channel, can be both difficult and gratifying. If you’re waiting for results, you could kick start your preparation at CAPS, CA coaching in Nagpur and get ahead of everyone.
Exercise
Exercise is a fantastic stress reliever and health booster. Exercise helps keep you in shape and energised after the exams, whether you choose to lift weights, go for a run or practice yoga.
Make future plans.
It's time to start thinking about the future once the exams are completed. Spend some time considering your long-term objectives and desires, whether you're choosing a job route or making college plans. This can keep you inspired and committed to your goals.
Maintain your POSITIVE attitude
Finally, it's critical to maintain your optimism following the exams. Remember that you put in a lot of effort and did your best, regardless of the results. Have a good attitude and remain upbeat about the future.
In conclusion, there are numerous activities you can engage in to keep oneself busy and engaged following exams. There are various methods to make the most of life, including taking a break, engaging in hobbies, spending time with family and friends, travelling, picking up a new skill, volunteering, beginning a new project, working out, being optimistic, or any combination of these.

"Tuesday’s [April 9, 2024] definition-shifting court ruling means nearly 50 governments must now contend with a new era of climate litigation.
Governments be warned: You must protect your citizens from climate change — it’s their human right.
The prescient message was laced throughout a dense ruling Tuesday from Europe’s top human rights court. The court’s conclusion? Humans have a right to safety from climate catastrophes that is rooted in their right to life, privacy and family.
The definition-shifting decision from the European Court of Human Rights means nearly 50 governments representing almost 700 million people will now have to contend with a new era of litigation from climate-stricken communities alleging inaction.
While the judgment itself doesn’t include any penalties — the case featured several women accusing Switzerland of failing to shield them from climate dangers — it does establish a potent precedent that people can use to sue governments in national courts.
The verdict will serve “as a blueprint for how to successfully sue your own government over climate failures,” said Ruth Delbaere, a legal specialist at Avaaz, a U.S.-based nonprofit that promotes climate activism...
Courting the courts on climate
The European Court of Human Rights was established in the decade following World War II but has grown in importance over the last generation. As the judicial arm of the Council of Europe, an international human rights organization, the court’s rulings are binding on the council’s 46 members, spanning all of Europe and numerous countries on its borders.
As a result, Tuesday’s [April 9, 2024] ruling will help elevate climate litigation from a country-by-country battle to one that stretches across continents.
Previously, climate activists had mostly found success in suing individual countries to force climate action.
A 2019 Dutch Supreme Court verdict forced the Netherlands to slash its greenhouse gas emissions by 25 percent, while in 2021 a French court ruled the government was responsible for environmental damage after it failed to meet greenhouse gas reduction goals. That same year, Germany’s Constitutional Court issued a sweeping judgment that the country’s 2019 climate law was partly “unconstitutional” because it put too much of the emissions-cutting burden on future generations.
Even in the U.S., young environmental activists won a local case last year against state agencies after arguing that the continued use of fossil fuels violated their right to a "clean and healthful environment."
But 2024 is shaping up to be a turning point for climate litigation, redefining who has a right to sue over climate issues, what arguments they can use, and whom they can target.
To start, experts overwhelmingly expect that Tuesday’s ruling will reverberate across future lawsuits — both in Europe and globally. The judgment even includes specifics about what steps governments must take to comply with their new climate-related human rights obligations. The list includes things like a concrete deadline to reach climate neutrality, a pathway to getting there, and evidence the country is actually on that path...
Concretely, the verdict could also affect the outcomes of six other high-profile climate lawsuits pending before the human rights court, including a Greenpeace-backed suit questioning whether Norway's decision to grant new oil and gas licenses complies with its carbon-cutting strategy.
An emerging legal strategy
In the coming months, other international bodies are also expected to issue their own rulings on the same thorny legal issues, which could further solidify the evolving trend.
The International Court of Justice, the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights all have similar cases working through the system.
"All these cases together will clarify the legal obligations of states to protect rights in the context of climate change — and will set the stage for decades to come," said Chowdhury, from the environmental law center."

I watched this video and this guy being interviewed mentioned that—as a result of childhood and inter generational trauma—he was not able to tell his wife he loved her until 20 years into their marriage (might have been more)
And y’all the first thing that came into my mind was literally “omg that’s Dean @ Castiel” which is a bit incongruous but whatever
Because idk fics really do have an obsession with making him say it sometimes but I think Cas would be understanding of Dean not vocalizing it because he shows it in different ways. Like the bee print socks he buys, driving out six hours to buy fresh honey, smiling whenever he walks into the room. The love is there, even if unspoken

AUs
I’ve read some reactions to The Winchesters that people were disappointed that it turned out to be an AU, and they felt that this story had no real stakes or impact on the main spn universe as a result. Of course, people can have whatever emotional reactions to a text that they want, but I think dismissing AUs as completely irrelevant is a misreading and a refusal to engage in symbolism and thematic developments. AUs are mirrors and windows; they present reflections of and provide new insights into the characters’ own universe. In spnwin, that character is obviously Dean: he’s our narrator, he’s the one entering this AU, he’s the one seeing aspects of himself and his significant relationships reflected back to him as the story unfolds.
The purpose of an AU is to change the character’s perspective; this is the case within the original spn universe: “The End” (5.04), for instance, is a warning to Dean that he can’t escape his role in the Apocalypse, that his refusal to engage will just result in more pain but ultimately, the same showdown that he’s hurtling towards right now. On another level, though, “The End” is about Dean’s relationship anxieties; he sees a future version of himself who is ruthless and cold, whose core relationships are either entirely severed (in the case of Sam) or fraught with unspoken pain (with Cas). In the beginning of s5, Dean’s tensions with Sam are obvious; he’s just discovered that Sam has been drinking demon blood and he’s in a relationship with a demon, Sam’s insisting that this is just a means to an end to be strong enough to defeat Lilith, but that plan ends up kickstarting the entire Apocalypse, etc. etc. So it’s clear why “The End” is reflecting Dean’s worst fears about what Sam could be capable of (embracing his role as Lucifer’s vessel). But it’s also fascinating what “The End” reveals about Dean’s relationship with Cas, and perhaps some insight into Dean’s worries about what might come of this unexpected, intense connection they’ve forged since Cas lifted him out of hell. The tension between Endverse Dean and mostly-human Endverse Cas is palpable; you get the sense that some deep wounds have been wrought by both of them, and their flaws have been magnified: Cas’s doubts have devolved into nihilism, Dean’s desperation to resist and survive no matter what has hardened him into someone brutal and terribly alone. So much is contained in Cas’s “of course” response: you’ve hurt me, I’ve hurt you, we’re broken, we’re doomed, there’s no way this will help, but no matter, I’ll go with you, of course. But there’s bitterness here too; while they’re here together at the end of the world, they’re out of step with each other. Something has broken between them that they can’t get back; Endverse Cas says it aloud, “what? I love like past you.” He can’t quite love what this Dean has become; something quietly devastating in that.
“The End” is also crucial in developing the themes of free will and autonomy, of course. It lays out all of Dean’s fears: that his choices don’t matter, that there are no other options despite the illusion of escape they provide, but ultimately, his fate is sealed.
(I think that point is important to keep in mind with The Winchesters as well; there are a lot of ways that this AU could still result in Mary burning on the ceiling and John becoming consumed with vengeance.)
So the AU 1972 that Dean stumbles upon has broadcast to us pretty loud and clear what impact this is having on original universe Dean: he’s our narrator, our point of view character. This is Dean processing his own inter-generational trauma, his own past, his own regrets, his desires for a different life free of all the burdens that were foisted upon him. And so all those Destiel parallels... those are not Easter eggs just there for the audience. This is an indication of how Dean is interpreting these events; that’s the entire point of an AU, is to have the in-universe character gain a new perspective on their own life, their current situation. Dean’s current situation becomes clear in the finale: he’s in heaven, and he doesn’t want to be. He’s awfully quick to offer his own exile when Jack reprimands him. He seems to have gone looking for a way out before he found out about the Akrida. The entire episode, he looks sad, heartbroken. Jack notes that he’s not at peace (and essentially commands him to make his peace now). If this was a successful mission, if Dean’s main purpose was to defeat the Akrida and help his AU parents heal and form a more stable foundation to their relationship, wouldn’t he be satisfied? But he clearly isn’t. He has his own motives that he isn’t willing to divulge yet, but read how this AU unfolds, what details Dean is paying attention to (which ones are reflections of himself), and you can follow the clues. This isn’t just subtext; it’s the roadmap.
