The Spindle Galaxy is probably most notable for the supermassive black hole that lurks at its center. One of the ways astronomers are able to estimate the mass of a black hole is by observing the temperature of hot gas being dragged towards it. Using this method, NASA astronomers estimate that the black hole in this galaxy is about two billion times the mass of our Sun. That means that the Spindle Galaxy hosts the nearest billion-solar-mass black hole to Earth!

i love mission to zyxx because whatever the fuck pleck and c-53 have going on is just so deeply part of nature nobody ever talks about it. nearly everyone i've spoken to in the community is like yeah they're gay as hell but there's absolutely no trace of any kind of Ship Community here at all. always drawn and pictured and mentioned together but never with a caption like They're kissing btw. because yeah we know. it's just a law of the universe. gravity exists and pleck and c-53 always have some ambiguously gay bullshit going on

The Spindle Galaxy, C53 // AdrianoMSilva

Often confused with another Spindle Galaxy (M102), this Spindle Galaxy (NGC 3115) is a lenticular galaxy. These are intermediates between the more familiar spiral and elliptical galaxies that lack spiral arms but do feature a central bulge and disk.

Appearing edge-on to us, this galaxy is located about 32 million light years away in the constellation of Sextans, the Sextant. Discovered by William Herschel (1738-1822) in 1787, it is best observed in the spring by northern hemisphere observers.

Zyxx 310 is kinda uncomfortable because of. y'know. the premise. and I was kinda afraid it would prevent it from being funny to me but it was saved by a) the guest voice actor sounding like she was having a great time (typical of the show but still worthy of note. she's very funny) b) Pleck's relentlessly asexual aura making a reappearance and c) the comedic timing of the scene where they all end up under the bed

Doc Mom exists in my head as her own separate entity from the rest of Cauldron. You cannot ask me what Doc Mom ships are best cause I feel like every person she interacts with she keeps a professional courtesy towards. Like, who is she going to hook up with, really? Doctor Mother is like an old oak tree, withered and burnt but somehow still alive. Through it all, she survives.

She did probably fuck Number Man though.
