ZEITmagazin: Was there ever a time when you got on better with Liam?

Gallagher: Of course, when we were young, there were times when we didn't argue. The big break probably came when I moved from Manchester to London when I was 26. He completely freaked out then. He never forgave me for that. And when the first people told him he was a star, he finally lost it. That's what happened, whether he liked it or not.

ZEITmagazin: Why did you move to London back then?

Gallagher: Because I was bored to death in Manchester. I was going to London more and more often, so at some point it was obvious for me to move there completely. And when I told the family about my decision, Liam freaked out.

ZEITmagazin: Did he feel left alone as a little brother?

Gallagher: But he wasn't alone! There was the rest of Oasis, they all lived in Manchester.

ZEITmagazin: After all, you are his big brother.

Gallagher: (long silence) I think he sees a lot more in me.

ZEITmagazin: What?

Gallagher: Probably a surrogate father. But let's not go there. I moved to London anyway, and my brother became a complete idiot in Manchester.

I moved to London anyway. Sounds like he knew he was breaking his heart. But, maybe, likely, he thought Liam would follow him. Probably he stayed over at Noel’s when he had to be in London, yet effectively he moved out of his mothers place after he met Patsy.

Alsooo, love how not one word is mentioned of Paul, it’s not he wasn’t alone he was with Paul and Mum, it’s, the rest of oasis was there so what’s the complaint. I don’t know about then but this right in 2017 either seems connected to their u love me so show me power play, or, and, just goes to show how close they were back then and how very aware they both were of it.

I have *a lot* of thoughts about Oscar being an eye avatar (most being that he would tell Arthur to fuck off in their first meeting if he knew how many strange shit he always has in his way) but I'm going to say it tomorrow because I'm to sleepy to form coherent thoughts and also the arthur in the third picture is the most arthur i have ever arthured in my career and im very happy about him.

Story time:

Back in the early days of me getting into this podcast I stumbled across a lot of fanart for Malevolent, specifically Potato-lord and Izel

I was in the middle of season two and I had no idea who the season four characters were but I fell in love with Noel almost instantly.

And as everyone does when they are super normal about a fictional character they have yet to meet in cannon I read and re- read his wiki page a lot.

Now one of the things that the wiki fails to tell you is that the Butcher and Noel start working together within the timeframe of the podcast.

Instead it just says this:

I had seen and enjoyed a lot of Dollins stuff by this point and extrapolated from the art and the wiki that Noel and Collins had been working together for a decent amount of time.

It would probably be useful for The Butcher to have a man in the force if something were to happen to him or if he needed to get some evidence handily disappeared.

I also guessed that due to the dreamlands and training from the war Noel is dangerous enough on his own just in a less obvious way than The Butcher (I still believe this).

Essentially they were a serial killing power couple.

Thats it. Thats the au that was cannon to me for a very long time.

Ride the Cyclone's Ableism Runs so Much Deeper than I Realised

Hi friends! Its been a while since I spoke about Ride the Cyclone, because it was a shitshow and I quite frankly wanted nothing to do with it anymore.

But I am a chronic ruminator, and its midnight and I am currently in a pain flare, so I have found myself ruminating on RTC. In my head, I jokingly introduced Ocean as "Ablest Extraordinaire!" - which led me to realise that while Ocean is the only one who is explicitly ableist, the others are inherently complicit in her ableism, as they stand by and do literally nothing about it. And they were most likely the exact same while they were all alive.

And then I had the realisation:

The choir only deem Ricky worth listening to - his story worthy of being heard - after he is magically cured of his disabilities and is all of a sudden able-bodied. Now that his existence is palatable to the ableds.

Isn't this an amazing message to be sending to disabled kids? (/s) That in order to even be listened to they should suppress their access needs (by ditching the mobility aids and/or forcing themselves to communicate verbally).

And this isn't just a mentality expressed in the show (and by extension, by Jacob Richmond/Brooke Maxwell), it is one that is expressed by the teams that produce this musical. Exhibit A: McCarter theatre. They hire yannick-robin, but try to dictate which mobility aids he uses, and when, in order to try and make his disabilities more palatable to them and their target audience. And the moment yannick experiences a symptom of said disability (*gasp* shocking, I know, that a consistent denial of one's access needs leads to intensified symptoms) that doesn't fit with the carefully curated image of disability they want to portray, they throw him aside and deem him too "inconsistent".

Fucking pathetic, if you ask me.

To any disabled folks reading this:

You deserve to be heard, as you are. Tell your story however the fuck you see fit. You don't need to force yourself to be palatable to the ableds. They need to pull their heads out of their asses and grow the fuck up, quite frankly. And don't let anyone diminish your access needs - you deserve to have equal access in EVERYTHING. I love you all xx

It's comical to Rio just how unamused you look from that response alone. He lets the silence linger a little longer for maximum effect before changing stances entirely.

With that, the mental image of Q-taro digging wax (and potentially what little brain matter he has) out of his ear with a pinkie finger comes to mind, and Rio almost snorts to himself before deciding to move on.

"Keep staring at me like that, and I'll have to forcefully change your pronouns to fuck/you!" He threatens, though it sounded better in his head than it did out loud. Whatever, you want to know his pronouns, right? If you really care that much, you'll disregard his blunder and listen up. "My pronouns, yeah?" He asks. "Eh... honestly, I can't be bothered with all that junk."

Humans are all so predictable to him when it comes to all things immoral and offensive, which he just so happens to be both. At least that combo makes getting under their skin a piece of cake for him, but as the most human of his dad's dolls, it means he's prone to this flaw too.

That's the only reason he gives a morsel of a shit about any of this, right?

"People are alllllll soooo sensitive these days. So what if I'm a guy wearing a skirt?" Suddenly, he throws his hands up in the air, his expression cards falling all around him like confetti. "WHOOPDIEDOO! Why don't you grow a pair and put one on yourself, bastard! Don't tell me you're such a pussy that a piece of cloth is giving you the heebie jeebies! Come on, tuck like a man!"
