I love how Veilguard adds just enough information to Thom's backstory that it adds to the hilarity of his situation. Here is a man that was so filled with regret that he watched a good man die, and took on his full identity in order to try and live up to his ideal and by extension escape the bloodied hands of his past. He became Blackwall in name to be an ideal, and he wore that with a false pride that gave him a reason to live... but as proud as he was of the name Blackwall, he simply couldn't take it one extra step and refer to himself as the Warden's first name. For all of Thom's respect for Blackwall, he simply COULD NOT go by the name of Gordon. That was his line. And who can blame him?

We're not appreciating the Weird Barbie enough. It's said in the movie that she helps everyone who need help while they always see her as someone who's not as good as them. She was friends with all dismissed Barbies and Kens, was there to offer support and safe shelter for everyone who needed it in Kendom, without her nothing in the movie would've been alright. When Stereotypical Barbie calls her "ugly and unwanted" she still helps her.

She was representing a woman in women's world who was pushed aside by other women because she didn't fit in but still had more wisdom and kindness than everyone who thought they're better than her.

It's still surprising to see people say that when they see the upcoming strike post I made that this is the first time they're hearing about it, especially because I've seen several posts now talking about the same strike.

That being said: regardless of what kind of blog you are, please spread the news about the genocide, the strikes, boycotts, etc.

Even if you are a small blog, spreading word allows for more people to know what's going on and also do their part in protests and strikes, and maybe even the right people will be able to do more than what you're able to do.

And reminder: there is an upcoming strike on February 18th-25th. Prepare accordingly, protest, boycott, call your reps, and spread the word so more people are aware.
