i'm like maybe 60/40 on whether evelyn would chose vivienne or cassandra as divine (leaning towards vivienne)... evelyn has a personal history with vivienne bc as the youngest in a very long line of trevelyan children she was given to the templar order as an infant and trained as a templar for years until her magic manifested and she was carted off to the circle... then she ended up becoming a knight enchanter which is how she met vivienne... but although they genuinely really like each other they are fiercely competitive (which is actually part of what they like about each other) so i'm not sure she'd want vivienne to be divine over herself... but it's impossible to chose yourself... plus i think she'd actually rather continue to lead the inquisition anyway even if she could chose herself... and i think that although she thinks she can't truly manipulate vivienne she definitely can make mutually-beneficial deals with her and predict her actions... plus she likes the idea of giving power to another clever chantry-supporting mage who knows how to play the game as well as she does... cassandra is another matter bc they also get along really well... and evelyn was raised to respect/fear seekers... and she thinks cassandra is even more trustworthy and predictable than vivienne bc she'll always do whatever she thinks is right... which can also make her hard to manage in instances where they disagree... but they don't disagree often... so i can just imagine evelyn actually staying up late in skyhold struggling really hard with this decision... leliana is not an option bc evelyn doesn't believe in fully abolishing the circles... but the choice between those other two is hard... she genuinely could go either way... but i think i will probably go with vivienne for maximum chaos (and to complete my trilogy of mages who wreak as much havoc on thedas as possible)

sooo true, anon. unfortunately we live in a world where people hate women 😔 but i will say you're right, it's gotten a lot better recently. i think it has to do with a combination of me really curating my audience over the past year, and in general things are very different now compared to when i started in 2020. more genderlocked companions, more trans characters, and it's pretty common now for games to have poly romance options, as well as love interests that will pursue other characters if the player doesn't show interest in them. (the last 2 being things people really hated Merry for in the beginning)

people definitely still don't like it, but i think they are more of a loud minority now than the loud majority like they were previously. which has been a really nice change to see :-)

Since we've got a date for the FD (just two and a half more months!!!), Even if Tempest is on my mind again, which means I am Once Again thinking about Crius (as if I ever stop). There are several reasons I love Crius and he'll have his hooks in me forever, but I think a big part of it is how despite Anastasia looking up to him so much, despite her LITERALLY thinking he is perfect and flawless in the beginning... HE is the one to fall for HER first.

It would have been so easy for her admiration to turn to love and for her to have to then try and win him over, but that's not what we got.

Instead, here is this handsome man who is so competent and charming, and he KNOWS it and WEAPONIZES it regularly to manipulate women into funding the Wings. He lowkey whores himself out - sells his time and attention at the minimum in order to keep the Wings afloat.

He is very used to getting attention and lust from women. He is NOT used to Anastasia's straightforward and blunt way of expressing herself. She woos him EFFORTLESSLY just by honestly telling him what she thinks and feels. She's not flirting, she's not trying to seduce him, but her sincere way of caring about him (as her friend and superior) bowls him over and wins his heart regardless. And even though he knows what they already have could be enough and he could just cherish that, he can't stop himself from being a little greedy for once and pursuing more. After years of lies and pretending, he desperately wants something REAL.

Look, idk if it's just my aromanticness being what it is, but Kai's sudden romantic intentions towards Alex in S2 E9 of Almost Paradise really feels like it comes from left field with no prior build up.

Like even in S2 e8 on the island getaway it could be argued that she starts to feel something after Alex tells her what he admires about her in the meeting hut, but it just escalates so much so quickly for episode 9

So like Ava, Noa also gets thrown into almost all IFs I've recently played. Unlike Ava, Noa has a tendency to...get stabbed...a lot. She always manages to survive by the skin of her teeth, but it's funny how often it happens 😅

Noa also is 162 cm and absolutely hates it XD A very cranky tired INTP 5w4 ♏ not as lanky looking as her twin because Noa actually works out regularly...against her will :')
