So.... what are your thoughts on Ace's UM, if you haven't been asked this already?

no but really, I think it fits him really well! I had thought his UM would probably involve something kinda sleight-of-handy or pickpockety! and I looooved that it made such a nice loop-around back to episode 1. ❤️ I was. kind of half-expecting him to just run out and punch Riddle in the nose again. but instead this time 'twas he who offed the queen's head! it was great! and he did it while stone-cold terrified out of his mind! because Ace is the only remotely normal or well-adjusted person at NRC and therefore the only one who is like "we're going to literally die, this is super effed up". but he did it anyway!!!! I AM SO PROUD

I'm not saying the dine-n-dash was a good call by any stretch--like, that is objectively a shitty, immature thing to do--but it's so funny to me that people are referring to Taivan as murderers. Babe, they did not push that man in front of a bus. If anything other than his own circulatory system killed him, it was definitely the Wilderness. Y'know, the one that clearly loves Taissa Turner dearly for her connection to the tress. The one that loves Van Palmer enough to keep her alive through insane situations. The one that historically loves shedding blood to tighten their bond. In a world where Misty is actively poisoning a woman she's kept chained in her basement and Shauna full-tilt stabbed a man to death, it's very amusing to consider the forty-year-old teenage lesbians running out on a meal tantamount to murder.
