The Green family dynamics are so interesting because like, Viserys is the father but due to his decay he seems more like the grandfather, whereas Otto is the Grandsire but seems to fill out the role of a father more, not only to his daughter but also her children, so he and his daughter are a mother/father unit but in some situations Alicent is treated like a sibling to her children (by Otto) and then you have the obvious Helaena/Aegon happening (siblings who are also husband/wife and mother/father to their children), but at the same time it seems like Aemond is the one trying to be the family's protector and attempting to step up as patriarch, with some of the scenes between him and Alicent giving off the vibes of equals rather than Mother and Son (like when they discuss Aemond finding Aegon) and his relationship with Aegon seeming like he's the big brother and not the other way around, in this essay I will-
#ALSO the way Aemond tries so hard to be the perfect son#In part to make up for Aegon obviously slacking#And also because he feels like he should've been the firstborn son#But do you ever think that maybe he's also jealous of Aegon because Aegon is allowed to fuck up#Again and again#And Alicent still loves him?#Like she obviously is affectionate toward all her children#But imagine trying to be everything your mother wants your older brother to be#And watching your older brother do everything he's not supposed to be#And somehow your mother still supports him and loves him and would quite literally die for him#And like logically you know she would do the same for you#But deep down you're also scared of ever fucking up#Because what if you're not perfect and you fuck up like your brother#And she stops loving you??#What if you're not the golden son she never needs to worry about#And she just isn't willing to tolerate your bs the way she tolerates your brother's#What a punch in the face that would be#Anyway don't mind me I am just clawing my eyes out#hotd#aemond targaryen#aegon ii targaryen

♡ Dating Aegon II Targaryen Headcanons:
❝ But… If you ever wish to know what it is to be well satisfied…❝
[SFW+NSFW + AFAB!Reader]
General Warnings: sad!Aegon, mentions of alcoholism, mentions of neglect
NSFW Section Warnings: pervert!Aegon, AFAB Terms, Somnophilia, Dom/Sub Dynamics, Sensory Deprivation
A/N: Still upset about his characterization in the show :/ Poor TGC was trying so hard to save this character. Appreciate that he gave us pathetic wet dog vibe for Aegon at the least
SFW Headcanons:
☀️ Aegon has desperate issues regarding love especially the idea of someone loving him. He’s been completely neglected by his father, only valued by his mother as a “rightful” king and struggles with alcoholism as a result.
☀️ Having you see him not as a ruler, not as a prince, not as a chess piece in a political game, but as a person has his mind confused.
☀️ It takes a bit of time for him to entertain the idea of you valuing him as true but once he does, he’s latched onto you like his life depends on it.
☀️ And I mean literally latched on. He is unashamed at how clingy he is to you. Arms always wrapped around you in the hall and keeping his eyes to yours.
☀️ Aegon is only willing to listen to you without complaining too much. Maybe a whine or two but he’s totally whipped so he’s on his way to do as you ask.
☀️ He’d LOVE for you to meet Sunfyre. If you are unaccustomed to dragons, he makes sure to slowly introduce you because he wants you to love his dragon as much as he does.
☀️ Always dreams about running away with you. He’ll be cuddling with you and ask about it. Even if it was impossible, he’d like to dream about going off somewhere in Essos, away from the throne.
☀️ “Love, simply listen to me… Imagine it. We could run off on the first ship out of this blasted kingdom. It could be just us…”
☀️ Alicent would simultaneously love and hate you. She enjoys the company of women and finally, someone has found a way to handle Aegon. But, she’d also be weary of this on account of her father because Aegon being infatuated with you means he’s more willing to listen to you than his council.
☀️ Rather than ditch his duties to attempt escapes, to drink or to whore, he’s sneaking off to see you if it’s been too long. He insists you stay by him during meetings or other duties to keep him from “going mad”.
☀️ Aegon can get very jealous when he sees you with other men because he knows what they’re thinking when they look at you. But you are his. No one else’s.
☀️ And considering he’s the firstborn and a prince, he has absolutely no problem getting petty because there would be no serious consequences. (Bonus tag team with Aemond.)
☀️ Aegon’s main Love Languages to give are: Physical Touch and Quality Time.
☀️ Aegon is obsessed with your body completely. He wants to do everything to have you in his arms.
☀️ He is unashamed with PDA. He’s kissing you almost every couple of minutes. He’s walking down the halls all smiles because he’s holding your hand.
☀️ Aegon’s need for you is constant and his mood quickly sours if he’s pulled away from duty rather than being able to spend his time with you.
☀️ He’d whisk you away onto Sunfyre for a joyride just so he can be away from everyone but you. Consider it a romantic gesture because in his mind it is.
☀️ He thinks it’s like when the knight saves the princess in the stories.
☀️ Lingers in the mornings just so he can have you by him for longer. The sun is hurting his eyes this early in the morning so what better than to bury his head in your chest and softly ask you to stay as he caresses your perfect body.
☀️ Aegon’s favorite Love Languages to receive are: Acts of Service and Words of Affirmation.
☀️ Aegon wants to feel special. To feel taken care of. To feel loved. So anytime you go out of your way to assist him, his eyes are sparkling as he looks at you.
☀️ You tidied the bedchamber? Have prepared his clothing? You’ve had his sword cleaned and polished? You’re practically begging for this man to be completely and utterly obsessed and he’s littering you in kisses in appreciation.
☀️ And, of course, he wants praise. No one has validated him and simply valued him as a person so he yearns for your words.
☀️ Something as simple as “I’m proud of you” has him close to shedding tears because no one tells him that.
☀️ He wants to hear you say “I love you” as much as possible so he’ll say it all the time just to hear you say it back.
NSFW Headcanons:
☀️ At first, he has to be dominant and take control. He’s been cut out of having control in all other aspects of his life that he needs some semblance of power.
☀️ You can trust that he knows what he’s doing. Although some of his fucking has been done while drunk, he’s done it and experimented enough to know what gets him off and what gets you off.
☀️ Only after some time will he trust to submit himself in bed. It’s scary to him. To lose control in another aspect of his life. But he trusts you and he loves you.
☀️ And surprisingly, being so slow, gentle and loving to him, it felt amazing. Having you ride him, hands interlocked and meeting each other’s eyes.
☀️ His favorite part of you are your tits. Seeing them bounce as you ride him, needing to touch and feel them.
☀️ He whimpers and cries when he’s getting close, begging you not to stop. He’s clearly needy just by the way he’s grabbing onto any part of you that you let him.
☀️ When he’s more comfortable with being submissive, he’s whiny in his needs. Tugging at your gown anytime you two are alone, insisting he needs to at least have a look.
☀️ “Please, my love… Please! Just one look! Gods, you have no idea how much I crave you.”
☀️ Aegon’s hand would try to slip under your gown under the table at dinner, insist that only he needs to assist you in bathing which is definitely just an excuse to fuck, and just straight up jack off when you two are alone in your bedchamber, pleading for you to touch him.
☀️ Aegon could definitely cum with the punishment of only being able to hump at your leg. The humiliation of being so desperate gets him off like nothing else.
☀️ He can be bratty sometimes but it’s all purposeful. He wants you to punish him because you both know it leads to being tangled around each other in bed.
☀️ Oh, and Aegon is absolutely unashamed about being loud. The louder the better in his opinion. He wants everyone and anyone to know how fucking good you two fuck and for how long.
☀️ He’d leave whatever chamber you two were in with a smug grin, knowing that no one could match the passion you two share.
☀️ Aegon has average stamina and lasts as long as you edge him for. He could go 2-3 a times a day and still ask for more even when he’s a shaking mess.
☀️ Sit on this man’s face. Period. No questions asked. If he can breathe, he isn’t satisfied. Suffocate him entirely, clamp onto his head with your thighs and watch him eat you out like a starved madman.
☀️ Aegon is a whore for praise and he makes it known when he’s giving you head. He gets so easily pussy drunk it’s insane. His eyes are locked onto you, only parting from your swollen, abused cunt to hear how well he’s doing.
☀️ “My love… Please tell me how well I’m doing… I’m being good, am I not?”
☀️ One of his favorite things would be longer sessions where he’s blindfolded and completely up to your control. Have fun with waxplay and sensory deprivation and watch his cock twitch and leak precum at each touch.
☀️ Sometimes you’d wake up to him already rubbing his cock against your cunt, feeling the wetness already coating him. His forehead pressed to your back as he softly moaned. It’s so easy for him to get turned on when you’re so close to him.

In the House of the Dragon show we saw that Dragonkeepers are a very mysterious bunch; they don't speak occasionally in common tongue instead they use and speak the High Valyrian; it makes them very closed off and curious I think. I don't think they socialize with anyone but other dragonkeepers -and maybe the royal family but it's just formal and nothing more-.
I decided to imagine something unique (I think it is) that there is a young dragonkeeper; who is very good at keeping the dragons at bay and always in communication with them. Their skills are especially important at teaching the young dragons. Because they're close in age with the royal families kids they pretty much their teacher -also caretaker when they visit the Dragonpit/Dragonstone-. They're proffesional and doesn't show much emotion to them, their emotions only reserved for the dragons and only for them. So with that, how do you think the kids act around them? Do you think Aemond would look up to them (and get attached) because he doesn't have a dragon and this young dragonkeeper is trying to help him find his own dragon? Do you think the children would want them to stay with them at the castle because they find them interesting (I mean who wouldn't they're litteraly a kid who is already so good at with dragons they're not even from their bloodline); even though they're not emotionally very perceptive towards them? Also I think the grown-ups would be interested in them as well! Daemon yes, I am looking at you lol.
What do you think about this?
This is a really creative and interesting thought! I love it!
I like the thought that the Reader is a child of one of the dragonkeepers so not only were they born into the life of dragons but it’s all they have ever really known. Like, maybe when they were a child they had sneakily followed their parent into the dragon pit and was immediately captivated with what they saw. Even better if the child was able to have calmed a dragon from going after another dragonkeeper or something of the sort. The child would have been scolded of course for venturing where they shouldn’t but with the knowledge that at such a young age they had the capability of keeping a dragon at bay was incredible. Especially for someone without any drop of ‘blood of the dragon’ running through their veins. From then on they would be trained to be a proper dragonkeeper and given their younger age they would be the one to deal with and assist the children of the royal family the most when it came to their dragons.
I think the Aemond would be exceptionally close to the dragonkeeper!Reader. Not only because of their role but because of how they truly are with the dragons themselves and the fact that the Reader has had to probably save his life more times then not when he would sneak into the dragon pit to try and claim his own dragon. I have no doubt that he would be jealous of the Reader given that they’re not only close to and handling dragons to begin with (and at such a young age too) but also that the dragons themselves take so well to them. The fact that they don’t have any Targaryen blood in them just makes it all that much worse to Aemond.
I could see Viserys/Alicent requesting for dragonkeeper!Reader to aid Aemond in his endeavor to finally claim a dragon, to make sure he doesn’t get into trouble/hurt, and the Reader would do so without complaint. This is their job after all; nothing more, nothing less. Only it would become so much more to Aemond after awhile of following around and learning from them, watching how they interact with the dragons and in turn how the dragons take to them. The jealousy and envy he had towards the Reader would diminish and turn into admiration and awe for them.
I feel like Aegon and Jace would both try to impress dragonkeeper!Reader especially given that they don’t show any kind of real emotion towards them or anyone else in general who isn’t a literal dragon. The two would try to one up each other to garner the attention and approval of their favorite dragonkeeper. I feel like Aegon especially would not only be annoying but would also not tolerate the Reader not reacting to or not giving him some form of attention. He already doesn’t get that from his father and mother, he’s not gonna allow a lowly dragonkeeper to treat him the same.
Also, I can’t help but imagine dragonkeeper!Reader being the one to find Aemond, Jace, Luke, Baela, and Rhaena during their fight. The Reader shows no worry or concern about it, they’re just exasperated and maybe disappointed that the kids all snuck in and had the audacity to fight in the dragon pit. Meanwhile, with his eye all fucked up, Aemond can’t help himself but to proudly announce that he claimed Vhagar and awaits to be praised by the Reader. Only to just get a brief nod in acknowledgment.
I love the thought of dragon!keeper just viewing Aemond (and the other children/adults) as part of the job; having to interact with and handle them similar to the dragons in the pit. Only the Reader doesn’t care too much for the human side of the job, they see that part as more of a nuisance but it’s still an important part of what they have to do so they’ll do it. They have no real attachment to the children or the rest of the royal family, they just have to keep the dragons from killing them specifically and that’s all it is. Only some members of the family don’t pick up on that or choose not to and go out of their way to make it more of a habit to visit the dragon pit just to see their favorite emotionally distant dragonkeeper.
Gods forbid if the Reader were to show even an ounce of positive attention or even a little emotion towards someone, especially one of the kids over the other children or even a complete stranger. All hell would break loose.
Regarding the adults, I think Daemon and Rhaenyra would both be particularly interested in the Reader. Both are taken aback that the dragons take so well to someone with no ‘blood of the dragon’. Even more so that the dragons are possibly more attached to the Reader than their own riders. Daemon would certainly want the Reader on their side when shit hits the fan.
Before leaving to Dragonstone, Daemon and Rhaenyra would want the Reader as one of their trusted dragonkeepers there. I could even see Rhaenyra having asked Viserys some time before his death if she could have the Reader specifically and take them to Dragonstone. Not to mention Jace and Luke would have probably begged her to bring the Reader over with them. The fight that would ensue between the boys, Aegon and Aemond regarding where the dragonkeeper should be would end up even more messy than the one that cost Aemond his eye. It may even result in Aemond possibly stealing Luke’s eye while he’s at🤷🏻♀️. Maybe even giving it to the Reader, seeking praise for being a little demented weirdo good boy for keeping them right where they belong.
I mean the Greens and the Blacks can fight as much as they want trying to get the Reader to go or stay with their respective sides but it will always come down to wherever the dragons are. The most important thing to the Reader is the dragons and they’ll stay or follow wherever they go. If dragonkeeper!Reader has a favorite dragon in particular then they’ll be even more likely to stick wherever that one is.
Also, I can’t help but think that with the kids especially fighting over the Reader that their dragons would emulate that and begin fighting each other. Maybe the dragons were fighting amongst each other before even the kids got involved given how much they get to be with the Reader and how much closer they are to them. The Dance of Dragons may have begun long before there was ever a side to chose from. It may even take place right in the dragon pit.

some hatred towards alysmond is coming from people with weird moral indignation i'm afraid. how do i know? cause in 9 out of 10 aemond×oc fics reader is soft, submissive, boring as hell and aemond is possessive, jealous and control freak. certain people will never like alys cause they can't relate to her. she is cunning, knows how to survive and make the best of it, and she is immediately labelled as dangerous seductive famme fatale. i don't care what they say, i knew for many years that really strong women don't put down those who clearly are confident and smart because they don't feel threatened by them. even if that's about the fictional character but you see those people can't tell a difference between real person and fictional character as they proved when telling olivia they hate her cause she plays a cunt and insulting gayle looks just because they expected eva green of katie mcgrath so they can get the confirmation she seduced him with her looks. sorry to disappoint you but even maesters noticed aemond in harrenhall didn't choose some younger ladies to bed but alys. they can't understand aemond fell in love because she was smart, witty, resourceful? maybe to him looks didn't matter but i dunno, something like personality? but they don't know what personality is so what to discuss here? now having oc with no personality bland as fuck is sign of genius. you know you can't write smart character with personality because then people won't self insert. they only can self insert into complete idiots. good to know they are impressed by someone nameless and faceless and personalityless. fools can only identify with fools.
not gonna lie helaemonds have a part of trashing alys cause they can't get over their disappointment she would be casted when they were sure alys would be cut cause her powers went to helaena. i have ss of their comments or posts so if they piss me off i would public it. they also can't comprehend why aemond would leave capital to begin with he was to fuck helaena during the war. huge bunch of helaemonds openly admitted they don't care about aemond, all they care about is helaena being with someone better than aegon. they don't understand aemond and his motives, they constantly trash aegon as worse than daemon and viserys combined so best to ignore them, their brains don't work anymore.
alys suffers from both teams cause both teams need a punching bag. tb does want every woman to uphold the patriarchy to just call them karens and they will be hugely disappointed because alys doesn't support the patriarchy so this argument works only with alicent and even helaena. tg is full of people with parasocial relationships with ewan and aemond as if any of them would ever have sex with them. they are jealous alys gets to have sex with him and they have to self insert into bland copy paste oc.
i feel really sorry for these writers who think writing alys as bad bitch will make their uninteresting self insert bland oc great or more shippable with aemond. how they are stuck in their black white thinking of the world when they write alys as smart, ambitious=bad bitch and oc naive, innocent, soft, submissive=great girlfriend material. it must be so boring to feel threatened by fictional character who isn't brainless like most of their ocs. so they need to cope by writing blushing virgin for aemond and that's how they convince themselves they'll find their aemond is real life. imagine how sad their life is!
Hi nonnie 🤗
This ask has been sitting in my inbox pile for ages; but fear not, I have finally unearthed it 😭
And honestly, there's not much to add - your words ring true and I couldn't agree more. Keep spilling that pipin' hot tea!

I wonder if Aegon III ever thought of Stormcloud after the Dance 😢
Absolutely he did. And not all of it would be happy, as he was still deathly afraid of dragons. I'm saying that the memories would be a much more poignant and potent form of "bittersweet", with a dash of yearning for happier times and then back to self-resentment and loathing for not being "enough". Stormcloud was from a time in his life when he was safest AND the dragon is responsible for saving his very life...but even that memory is probably tainted by his guilt of leaving Viserys behind. I think this great loss of what once was and what could have been is another part of the basis of why Aegon hated dragons forever, bc it is also a reminder of a whole being that maybe was just beginning that was lost. I could be tripping, but there ya go, one of my headcanons.
Another headcanon: Aegon is said to express that he failed Jaehaera and couldn't protect his queen. I also think we can make an argument that he was glad and jealous that she died not bc he hated her guts but because she had an out. And this was another reason for his hating himself, that he'd think such thoughts. I could be just too much in my feelings this Monday morning, but there, what do you think?
Look guys, this is one of the most tragic figures of Targ history (and don't bring up Helaena, Rhaenyra, any of Helaena's kids, that's all obvious). He died young and forever scarred by the war that killed so many people that he loved, and again having to see his mother die the way she did was never going to be a weak memory. This guy literally just had Daenaera , his kids, and Viserys as his balm and reason to have joy in the life he probably didn't want to live ever since he was 10.

i love your fics!!!!!
would you agree with Cassandra that aegon's love is currently one-sided?
("If Amara is truly in love with Aegon, Cassandra will happily eat her own foot. The Dornishwoman has played her long game and won. The consequences of allowing the king to remain in his one-sided love may strike her later.")
Thank you!
Okay, so I'll try to approach this question in terms of relationships styles. There'll be more on Amara's parents' relationship in the next chapter to explain maybe why she is the way she is.
But her main style is fearful-avoidant. She shuts down when it comes to emotions that make her question her whole outlook on life. She withdraws when she desperately wants intimacy. She can't cope with small problems in relationships because to her they seem big, and she exacerbates them by acting out.
To Cassandra, this reminds her of her father, Borros, who never showed his love for his girls. To her, that's not love. That's neglect. So in her mind, Amara doesn't love Aegon.
Aegon on the other hand is anxious attachment. He also has big reactions to small conflicts. Amara broaches the topic of marriage in a moment of emotional weariness, and he digs his heels in and goes overboard in reminding her she is a possession (he obviously doesn't truly believe she's a possession, because he enjoys who she is as a human being without restraint, and he's never tried to change her personality).
There is a power imbalance straight off the bat emotionally. Amara acts aloof better than Aegon does, but because he has power in every other way, he gets the urge to force her to show him love. But he can't keep it up all the time - he's literally the king, he has other shit to do - so sometimes he just gets sick of her and is like you know what, fine, fuck off then. And that sends her into a spiral because when he acts like her she doesn't like it very much. If only there were therapists in Westeros to help her see that.
In a way it's probably good that Amara is avoidant, because as a widowed king, Aegon will have unmarried bachelorettes currently vying for his hand from every direction. It would annoy her, but she just detaches. He, on the other hand, tries to make her jealous (and succeeds) but doesn't see the visual reward of the effort, so gets even angrier and sleeps with a couple of them because he can. But then he projects onto her and gets jealous and suspicious over what she's doing, or where she's been and if she's attracted to anyone at court other than him.
I think one of the worst relationships possible is to get an avoidant and an anxious attachment person stuck in a cycle, but woowee, look what we have here. Also, Amara kind of distantly recognises elements of her first lover (who was a mixture of avoidant and anxious) in Aegon, and does wonder if she's so beyond salvation, she can only ever attract men who behave like them and not one who's calm and gentle and kind. But she doesn't yet know she'd get bored very quickly by a stable person if they were in a relationship.
Anyway, omg sorry for the ramble!
tl;dr she loves him, but is afraid to show it and have her soul crushed when she believes he'll move on thanks to the constant temptation around him as king of the realm.

Princess of Dragonstone, Chapter 2
Concept: Daella's is rhaenyras daugther and now aemonds prisoner. First fanfic and not edited very well.
Aemond and aegon levels are mild.
WARNINGS: Abuse, cursing, powerabuse, kidnapping, and implied non-con as well as references to r*pe.
He drags me outside. It finally stopped raining. 'So angry, Lady Strong. Is it because I killed your favourite bastard brother or is it because I hold your future in my hands?' He walks me to his dragon. Or drags me with him. He walks much faster then i do. He always does.
Finally, i spit in his face. Snapping. I've had enough of him. Aemond is furious and slaps me in return in my face. Its not the hardest slap I've had but I'll admit that it stings. 'Do that again, and I'll make sure you ever would dare to think insults of me. Am I clear, Lady Strong?' He places me in front of him, on the dragon.
'I never rode Vhagar with a extra rider. You should feel honered.' He says, sweetly. My eyes roll.
'I imagine you never rode anything except your dragon.' I coldy and childishly remark. Its a low insult but its all i have left.
He laughs. The fucker. He laughs. 'Tsk tsk. I hold your life in my hands, Lady Strong. Best keep that little bastard mouth of yours under control or else you will suffer the consequences.' I huff. I am not scared of him.
He gives Vhagar a command and the dragon slowly starts to prepare itself for flying. 'Now quiet, or I'll cutt out your tongue the way your bastard brothers took my eye.'
--- Kings landing isn't that far from Storm's end. Not when you have Vhagar. The biggest and grumpiest dragon of all. Aemond Targaryen is a terrible dragon rider. Or maybe its because i am laying upside down but i spend most of my time caughing and puking.
I can't bloody wait until i have soil under my feet again. Dyaxis is smaller than Vhagar in size but at least Dyaxis knows to calm it down. Aemond keeps pushing Vhagar for more and more and i need to remind him sometimes with a kick that he needs to slow it down or I'll end up as a very unhappy omelette.
When we finally reach the hell that is king's landing, i am grateful we fly too high to be seen. I don't want anyone seeing me this way, like a tapestry hanging over Aemond Targaryen's dragon.
Aemond lands gracefully in the dragon garden. He first gets off himself, so he can use a simple command to get vhagar to lie down. 'You really thought this trough, hmm?' I remark coldly from the giantic beast.
Aemond says something but i cant hear it. Vhagar simply refuses him. The dragon looks at the prince but refuses to bow. After a while, she huffs and finally plops down nearly causing me to fall off and to break my neck.
Aemond catches me before that happens, thank Gods. 'Put me down, Kinslayer.' I say the moment the beast has calmed down.
He groans annoyed with my priorities. Maybe I am also ruining some sort of twisted fantasy. 'I just saved your life.' We pass by Vhagars gigantic head. The Dragon left big eye follows me, very carefully. I feel very unsafe by her.
Aemond chuckles as he puts me down on the grass. 'She doesn't like you. I can tell when she despises people.' I eye quickly for a escape but i already know there is none. My hands are still tied. I need a knife to free myself.
She must be jealous. Don't worry Vhagar.' He says, in High Valyrian. He affectionately pets her and Vhagar makes a wailing sound. I can't believe this.
I roll my eyes at her dramatics. Aemond falls for it, of course. 'Just because i have a new object to ride doesn't mean we won't be seeing each other, yes? I still love you, very much. You know that. Now who's the best dragon-' she nuzzels him and he pets her on her head. He gets a lick in his face as well.
Thats when i interrupt. 'As much as I love to see that you finally found a friend, Aemond, Get the hell on with it. I'm cold and starving and i want to go home.' I say.
'Didn't your septa teach you that patience is a virtue?' He smirks.
'Didn't yours tell you that killing your own blood isnt a virtue?' I minic his ridiculous smile.
I walk with Aemond, leashed like his fucking dog, to the carriage. 'Mother has a fun saying about septas. Do you want to hear it?' Aemond looks at me, full of expectations. I wont make a show of my resist for him. I will go with dignity like a princess.
'Fuck the septa.' I say, grinning.
Aemond frowns. 'That's...Not funny at all, Lady Strong.'
'Yes it is. You just dont have humor.' Simple as that.
'I have plenty, this simply is a insult. Not a very good one, i might add.' Everything is an battle with him.
'Alright, Kinslayer let's just get on with it. I've spend enough time in your company.'
The Redkeep is still standing. But there is nothing red about it anymore. Its now Green. The headquarters of the greens.
The guards fetch me right away. 'Ser Deston. Ser Ferz. It's me, princess Daella.' Then, i can't really help it, i puke one final time.
They don't even try to help me.
Aemond looks on as i try to flee with every guard out there. They all look at me like I'm something disgusting.
Speaking of disgusting...Otto hightower is also present. 'Aemond. A word?' Just the sight of him makes me so angry.
He sounds upset. Angry. Furious with Aemond. 'Ooh, someone's in trouble.' I whisper to Aemond.
'One moment, Grandfather. I am not leaving with my pet unpunished.' He takes me by the arm and tries to show off how he controls me. He makes his hand flat and i already close my eyes.
Otto interrupts. 'She is not your pet, she will be our pawn. She will be traded. Let go of your childish feelings. I already have one raper as grandson. Don't insult me by making it two.'
Sir Criston looks on. 'Why am I not suprised? You never liked mother. She handed you everything. You were a nobody, a bastard born son.' I spat at him.
'Aemond does the same for you, if you suck his cock. Yet you aren't grateful either, are you?'
They drag me inside the red keep. Aemond does so, eagerly to show his family what he captured.
-- Aegon looks like he aged two decades during the few days he is sitting the throne. Criston forces me to kneel for the usurper. 'Princess Daella, your grace.'
'Well, well, well. Look what my brother dragged in. Some things never change do they?' The fuck is he talking about?
'We should treat the princess carefully. Rhaenyra might want to trade her claim for her.' Says former queen Alicent.
Her father disagrees. 'Would she really? She is just a daughter. Everyone knows Rhaenyra is more attached to her sons. If we had Jace or Luke-' Aemond subtly swallows.
I smirk at him. He has informed them proudly of his conquest. Of me. But he hasn't told them what he did to Lucerys. 'I have some news, that might buy me my freedom.' I announce. Before i can utter a word, Aemond covers my mouth.
'I killed Lucerys.' He shouts. His words echo through the chamber and the reactions of his family are priceless.
His mother clutches her necklace and starts praying. Haleana, the queen doesn't even seem to be here at all, and Otto curses him for being so blind despite only having lost one eye.
'This is a victory. Lucerys was a cunt. Now, tell me brother...'Aegon eyes are cold. 'You want her, brother?'
I hear my own heart beating fast. 'I do what you seem fit, my king.' Is Aemonds response. How chivalrous.
'I didn't ask that. Do you want the girl? Do you want to fuck her?' Aegon barks at his brother.
'Yes.' The word comes out slowly but possessively. Like he can already feel his hands on my skin and his tongue down my mouth.
He smiles at Aemond. 'For bringing me this dangerous traitor I'll reward you generously. She is yours, to with as you please. Her body, names, titels and holdings are yours, Aemond Targaryen.'
Otto nearly rips out his own hair. 'Aegon! Don't be stupid. She will be worth a lot if we trade her-' And just a minute ago i was worthless?
'Adress me like that again and I'll send you back to that pisshole you came from, Grandfather.' He takes another sip of his drink.
Aemond smiles coldly as i finally hit the walls. 'Thank you, for this generous gift my king.' To me he whispers something as well. 'You're mine now, Lady Strong.'
'One thing, Aemond.' He says before letting us leave.
'Yes, my king?'
Aegon looks at me and he is back to being the king. 'Neutralize her. Make sure she can't be used as a weapon against us.'
Aemond slowly smiles.'Of course, my king. I already have something thought out.'
Aegon mirrors his diabolical expression. 'I figured you would.'

I know legacies still has a long way to go but can you drop any hints on lucerys' thought process? Not asking to spoil but i keep thinking about how he was trying to make aemond jealous by mentioning rhaena and him having sex but like... why? He gets jealous over aemond smiling at the staff, tells him he won't share him then goes to (supposedly) get back with rhaena.. I'm trying not to be too harsh to him because the fic is mosrly from aemond's pov & this entire family has unresolved issues (luke has a multitude) and we're still waiting on more info regarding himself and rhaena, and his view of aemond. Though I'm theorising that the 2 missed calls were actually to let aemond know that he's going to driftmark not necessarily for the aegon situation (not entirely at least) but idk guess we'll see
well, lucerys is insecure enough to the point where he bases his self-worth on whether people like him or not. he knows aemond finds him attractive enough to casually sleep with him, but wants to know more. in his perspective, he understands there’s still malice and hurt between them with the eye situation, storm’s end, and everything new that’s happened since they’ve rekindled (which is a fuck ton). he also knows aemond can be detached enough from a situation to not care but still show up for it, meaning he could totally be having sex with him without really any deeper meaning. that’s why when he sees him interacting with other potential interests, luke shows that childish-insecurity streak. he ultimately needs to know if he has the same affect on aemond as aemond does on him. i mentioned this a while back on this blog but the main reason why i chose to write through aemond’s pov is because he’s basically ‘😐’ and maybe two other moods tops so he’s really hard to read.
we do know aemond’s peeved by the comment, but in the moment, luke probably didn’t gather that information. aemond makes jabs at him and rhaena's relationship during chapter 9's argument but it doesn't give away how he actually feels about them. and keep in mind, the only time lucerys ever feels like there’s some affection is through the roughness of their hookups which still isn’t a good reference. aemond isn’t good at prepping, he’s not soft at all, and basically takes all of his frustrations from life (the blogs, the family situation, his childhood traumas, his failures) out during sex. it’s a horrible cycle that allows lucerys to be confused and act out.
and i don’t think it’s really spoilers to say that rhaena and luke are definitely not back together though. there’s still greater forces at play with luke’s inheritance and the combination of aegon and daemon’s infidelity being exposed so just know if someone tells lucerys to jump, he asks how high. aemond’s not the only person who gets to handle his image or is the real first basis of his affection (rhaena). we’ll see the beginning of those repercussions/how aemond deals with not being able to fully control luke next-next chapter though...
what we will be getting is a rhaena and aemond sit down/deeper interaction this update which i’m very excited for!

I sent you an ask almost two weeks ago or so about your portrayal of Aemond as maybe being less repressed than he should be and I've been meaning to answer back but I've been quite busy and only now I managed to catch up with the fic and most of everything else.
Sooo, where should I start with…It's encouraging that both Daenera and Aemond will both be Team Black and Team Green in the beginning but once certain events will be happening you'll chip away at this rather than go with the now generic trope of "Aemond realizes the Greens are in the wrong and/or he decides to swear allegiance to his half-sister so he can be with her daughter"…that would never happen realistically no matter how much genuine love is between them (nor the opposite will happen, no daughter of hers will betray her mother and family). Likewise, Aemond will never wake up one day and be like "we can't usurp Rhaenyra's throne just because she's a woman and I refuse to participate in that" and us expecting, as readers, that he should begin to espouse feminist ideals (for their time and place) overnight that women are fully capable of ruling and men shouldn't get the throne just because they have a dick simply because he's in love with someone from the opposing side as it's not in his character (especially given his misogynistic remarks about Rhaenyra in the books that the show has excluded so far for some reasons…I'm sorry but he is a misogynist just like 99% of Westerosi men, he's no exception). Personally, I think even in the event that Daenera (or any other OC that is a daughter of Rhaenyra for that matter) becomes queen, with him genuinely supporting her, he won't be satisfied with being just king consort but would actively want to rule alongside her as a ruling king. We already know he's always had the ambition and sees himself as an worthy king.
It's also a bit unfair to him as a character to expect him to choose love instead of his family/duty. I know most readers absolutely love when the man does everything, including leaving his family, to be with his lady love and will be livid at him when he will actively fight for his side in the war… "but if he truly loved her he would've sworn himself to the Blacks end left his family and the evil Alicent" yeah I get it but…one can always play this game and ask "why doesn't SHE betray her family to be with the prince she's in love with?" just because she's a woman and we expect the man to do everything? See how this works? Almost no one ever condemns the female character for still doing her duty to ensure her mother's claim but if Aemond wants to do his duty he's the worst ever and what's worse people will ask for her to get another love interest just to make Aemond jealous lol…please no. Don't get me wrong and no offense to anyone, I myself will be angry at him in the future but we have to keep in mind all of the factors that will make Aemond take certain decisions, do some things and behave in certain ways…not everything is black and white. And I know he's in the wrong to believe Rhaenyra would start killing him and his siblings if she ever takes power ( in a scenario where there's peace and Aegon doesn't usurp the throne), but Aemond himself has no reason to truly believe this given the relations between the two sides of his family so far. Even in real life and history there were rulers and monarchs suspected to have played a hand in the murder of certain family members to ensure their on hold on power. The idea that, in time, Aemond and/or his male siblings and relatives would be killed (not directly, I mean Daemon could always arrange some hunting "accident" or something) isn't so far fetched especially if his sister's rule doesn't go that well and lords will start looking for someone else to back. It's a genuine fear for him to have.
Chipping away at their allegiances to their own side though it's a much better approach instead of glorifying one side and demonize the other so a certain character can easily justify switching sides. I'm aware you haven't 100% confirmed it but judging by some of your past comments on AO3 as well as other posts from here it DOES look like B&C's victim will be Daenera and Aemond's firstborn (son?) which is just…well, let's say I simply don't think Daenera will nor should she ever forgive Daemon for having her child, a literal defenseless baby, killed in front of her. It will also hit her very hard considering how she's always looked up to him and tried to satisfy him but truth is, Daemon seems like he's always cared more about the political side of things (gathering more support for his wife and away from the Greens) rather than Daenera's own feelings and persona. Not to say he will be indifferent at hearing how bad Boris was to her as a husband but you get what I'm trying to say here. Could be wrong, but I even see Daemon acting like he's doing her a favor in getting rid of her child (let's be real, he will see it more like Aemond's spawn rather than a grandchild and a part of Daenera herself) and, in the future, also getting rid of her husband and try to find someone more suitable for her. As for Rhaenyra, I seriously doubt she she would ever avenge her son's death by agreeing to do this to her daughter so I'm sure it will be all Daemon's doing. I'm also hoping there will indeed be a confrontation between Daenera and Daemon before everything goes to hell. If it happens, will it be after she's married to Aemond and pregnant with his child? I don't know, but amongst other things, I kind of want her to make herself clear to him that she DOES want to have Aemond's child or else she would've gotten rid of it. By the way, to make myself clear, I'm not implying that Aemond killing Luke is something he should be forgiven for by Daenera just because she's in love with him, even if he did it accidentally and she may believe him but…the whole thing is still less bad than having your own child killed in front of your eyes. At least Luke/Arrax may have escaped and outrun Vhagar had the weather been good but what chance does a baby have?
Also can't wait for their (official) marriage even if it will also be a forced one. In the long run though it's probably for the better that it happens at all even if the way it does is less desirable. It also prevents the Blacks from forcing her into another one even if Rhaenyra makes sure it will be to a nice man the second time. Truth is, I believe we've had enough drama with having one of them married to someone else and I'm not looking forward to a rehash of the same plot nor do I think it would've served this story well. Same for a version in which Aemond is married for duty to a Baratheon daughter so it's great that he manages to get himself married to Daenera despite Alicent's wishes (and hey, there's still Daeron out there and he can be the one to marry one of Borros' daughters instead of Aemond). But at least, by forcing Daenera into a marriage with him, he also makes sure he's still doing his duty to his family and will not betray them by going to Rhaenyra while still getting the woman he loves even if he disappoints his mother in the process. I also see why Aemond would think he is protecting her from his family and he may not be wrong to think it, obviously Daenera being married to Aemond will make anyone think twice before taking any kind action against her.
I agree fully with literally everything.
Neither Aemond or Daenera would (realistically) abandon their own sides for love. Aemond would just drop his mother and brother to fly to Dragonstone to be with Daenera-- and Daemon would likely not receive him/her brothers would make a fuss. He would be considered a spy and someone not to be trusted, ever. And Daenera wants things to change. She wants her mother on the throne, she wants her brother on the throne, she loves them and has done whatever was expected of her to secure it. So she won't abandon them either. Which is why I will chip away at their loyalties, where its better to choose one another and do what they have to to survive and thrive.
I haven't planned the entire future, because I don't know everything, or every plotpoint. But I hope that they will sit the throne one day, Daenera as the main ruler, but with Aemond holding his own position and power, consort, hand, her other half. Its my hope for them. And it will take a lot of work.
Which is where the chipping comes in. As you speculated, and I've hinted at, they will lose their first child to B&C (there will more than just Blood and Cheese, 2 more men who takes care of Daenera and Aemond's child. Team work!) And it will shatter them. Daenera is not a forgiving person, she won't forgive Aemond killing Luke, but she will love him regardless. But with their child, she won't forgive Daemon. And it will be as you speculate. Rhaenyra wouldn't do such a thing to Daenera, but Daemon would think he did her a favor of a kind-- he will see it as an answer to a betrayal. And they will have show down. (There will be a showdown regarding her marriage to Boris and what she's feeling for Aemond after the last supper.) And then again a major one, where she ask WHY, why did you kill my child? MY child. And Daemon would be; His child.
And regarding the Official marriage, I've decided they'll have it by the end of the story for season 1. Aemond gets what he wants, which is her. Before then, and in next chapter, we'll see how Alicent is trying to force Aemond's hand and have him marry. It won't happen. As you said, I don't wanna go through the same plotline again. Our boy will be dragging his feet, and then shit start to hit the fan and he takes the opportunity to get exactly what he wants.
To be honest with you Anon, I don't know whether to be scared that you have the same thoughts as I, or if I've just managed to foreshadow and weave it all in perfectly, Or the plot is just fucking predictable, but regardless whichever it is, I also feel honored that you have the same thoughts as I. I really do try and think everything though. I can't catch everything, of course. But, I try and make it as thought out as possible whether its with the plot, the characters, themes and arcs. I also try and stick to the 'everything has consequences' thing, but of course, again, there's some plotarmor to be expected, or lesser/overseen consequences. Sometimes I just want Drama.
Thank you as always for your comprehensive message! I love it. I love seeing how you catch on! I love talking to you <3

the toy idea was actually started by a helaemond shipper and it’s not true either 😭 at least not in a concrete way we’ve seen, maybe if they ever release the scripts we’ll get more info. iirc tom didn’t say aegon was jealous in that scene either- he said aegon doesn’t want to give jace the victory, because he recognizes jace is asking helaena to dance as a way to insult him and their whole family. i found asking tom a q about aemond’s character very silly, but he answered it as well as he could. overall the show just does nothing with helaegon- aside from them physically being married and having children, there just isn’t anything there. i ship them bc it’s an interesting dynamic and there’s lots to play around with, but like a lot of other ships on this show, people tend to delude themselves into thinking it’s actually portrayed one way when there’s nothing to support that
yeah, i remember that because back when we were discussing helaeg*n, half of the helaeg*ns of today were busy telling incest shippers to kts
it is still surreal to me to see folks who directly or indirectly attacked me for greencest overall be like "oh i love helaegon and aegond now" and i am trying not to interact with them even if they possibly changed now because you never know
anyway yeah i also think it's fine to ship helaegon and do your thing, but i've def seen some exaggeration of both canons when it comes to thei canon relationship. i try to ignore it as long as it doesn't turn into weird helaena discourse, but yeah...

—Oh, no... The Dowager Queen can keep her gods to herself. —Baela didn't necessarily hated the Seven, but they were so interlink with House Hightower. Her feelings towards Ser Otto, her worries about what he was scheming next, inevitably transform into an expectation of danger from any of them. Their whispers about Jace; his possible "true parentage". The whispers of Aegon's birthright being stolen. Her family was always on trial and the first to judge them was always Ser Otto. Over time, Baela couldn't help herself from extending her suspicion to Queen Alicent, but Rhaena's close relationship with Heleana thankfully kept Baela from feeling cautious around the Dowager Queen's children. —As odd as it sounds, I follow the Old Gods of Valyria. Most of the rituals, prayers and ceremonies were lost to the Doom, but some of their names still live. Someone has to remember them, before they become lost to time. —Her serious tone left no room for questioning. « Because I know nothing but their names. » Sometimes it made Baela feel like a fraud. No questions meant no answers to give; so she kept all her doubts to herself.
—I never expected such freedom from ironborn, some of my ladies might get jealous. —As far as Baela knew, the Iron Islands were the worst place for any woman. « But it wasn't that also the reason so many women wanted to marry him? » Her curiosity only brighten over the idea of voyages. —How far have you sail? How often do you travel?
Baela could see the annoyance behind Alannys' eyes, she wasn't used to hiding her name to get weapons. For a second, she considered telling her that one of the blacksmiths didn't mind doing weapons for women, but Alannys would probably love to discover it by herself. So Baela simply nodded and let the conversation go on.
—Believe me dear, I've sew enough dragons for a lifetime. I'm sure I've gifted at least one to all of my siblings during their namedays. A kraken was a very welcomed change. You know, soon my dragon may fit two... you can add your name to the list of people who are getting to fly with me. I warn you, you are twentieth on the list. —Originally, when Rhaena's egg didn't hatch, Baela promise her the first ride once Moondancer was grown enough. The promise wasn't necessary anymore and Silver wing definitely was large enough for both of them, but Baela still had her twin's name at the very top of her list.
—Really? I'm remember my grandsire telling me about drinking dornish wine with your father, how did he got it then? —Baela was sure it was probably stolen, but the lack of complains from the dornish embassy made her think maybe, just maybe, the Lord Greyjoy had the decency to actually buy it. —It must have been a terribly long journey if you didn't make any stop from Pyke all the way to King's Landing. —Baela's face of fake compassion was one of her favorite creations, so real most didn't notice the lie. Everyone in court lied as second nature, so Baela made a mental note of telling Lady Lyra to teach Alannys how to properly lie. She asked for drinks and fruits for them, before focusing her attention on Alannys once again.
—Daerysaa should be back before my wedding. — The words felt like a fever dream. « So soon already? » Ever since she received notice of her wedding day, Baela couldn't stop thinking about it. —I'm sure she'll like you. Talking about my wedding... Teora plans that all my ladies wear matching gowns, when was the last time you saw a seamstress? Jace and I are still talking about possible themes, but the most likely one is jewels. —She look at Alannys' eyes.— Amethysts would look fascinating on you.
—Your father is also the first Greyjoy to sit in the small council. I'm sure he's going to stay for a long time, so we should get used to each other's company. —Baela let them get comfortable with their drinks, as she gathers her portion of fruits.— Do you know what are your new duties or should I make you a list? Now that my muña is in better health she has taken some of her workload back, but I still have some letters and paperwork to do.
The Siren under the Moonlight ༉‧₊˚.
The Red Keep, 129 AC. With: @sirenalannysgreyjoy
✦┊⟩» « This climate is perfect for an outdoor outing » Baela regretted not arranging the meeting in the Red's Keep garder, but this last days the sky was pouring out rain nonstop, so she opted for the more convenient place: her chamber's solar.
Baela dress up with a all black gown, decorated with silver thread, her hair was neatly braided inside a hairnet and her favorite ruby necklace.
She organized the occasion with her sister's help, Rhaena had a talent for inviting and organizing beautiful gatherings. Her plan was to invite the heir's to the great houses to meet them, hopefully give a ever lasting impression and secure amusing relationships with all of them. They all traveled for her Muña's coronation, Baela might as well seize the opportunity.
House Greyjoy presented the ever lasting problem with the Iron Islands: they are secluded and every other region in the kingdom hated them. Every time she tried to investigate about them, all her texts were written by westerlanders, nobles in the Reach or north; people who had a very biased perception about them. All rumors pointed at the ironborn as monsters, kidnappers, murderers and thieves. Their culture was obviously based on violence but it couldn't be all of it. Baela hoped her curiosity could be answered by one of their own.
Toron Greyjoy had a reputation as violent as his house and Baela wasn't sure how to approach a man whose nickname is "The Red Ripper", thankfully, he had a vast number of siblings —just like Baela herself— so she decided to talk with one of House Greyjoy's daughters instead.
One of their ladies in waiting announced the arrival of Lady Alannys Greyjoy, before leaving them alone.
—Captain Greyjoy —She said, ironborn may not follow courtesies as rigidly as other Kingdoms, but Baela still wanted to have some. « Lady Greyjoy » was a title disputed between at least two sisters and twenty two wives, how was anyone supposed to difference between them? She had the gut feeling they respected sailor's titles more than noble ones anyways.— I'm glad you accepted my invitation. Tell me, how is King's Landing? Are you enjoying court? Most appointments to the small council mean long stays for the Lord's family, so I hope you haven't gotten bored in here. Please take a seat.
Baela prepared an embroidered handkerchief with Lady Alannys house sigils: a kraken with a scythe, gold and silver in the white fabric. A gift for her, already placed on her side of the table.
—There's so little information about the Iron Islands over this side of the continent, I think it would be perfect to know from someone from there. You are ironborn from both sides, isn't it? How is life for you in there?

Imagine Aemond’s secret lover who married Aegon, dying in child birth to Aegon’s child that she didn’t want. I don’t think Aemond would ever forgive himself. And he’d try to raise the baby bc we know Aegon has little interest in his kids. :(
Plus: "Please write more about heartbroken aemond with reader who was forced to marry aegon, it was amazing but too short 😩" - from another anon
Sorry, i know it was short but i'm lazy hehe sorryyyyy. And anon, you hurt me but it was just amazing 💖 but here we go
— BABYLON II
• Despite she doesn't talk to him, Aemond would always make sure she's okey and his brother doesn't hurt her in any way
• we know what Aegon is capable of, so Aemond would walk outside their chambers every night, trying to hear if everything is okey
• he also tries to be with the two of them so she is not alone with him
• when he knows she's pregnant he can feel his heart break. He can't believe she's having a baby with his own brother
• but he's concerned about her health and the baby
• and she is so scared that maybe she would look for some comfort with Aemond
• "how are you feeling today? Do you need something?" he asks one day entering her chambers after hearing that she had a rough night
• "I'm fine. I just need some sleep" she said and he was surprised she answered
• "then I'll let you rest"
• "actually, could you stay with me for a while? Please"
• he was so glad that she talked to him again. They were lying on the bed
• "sorry for being an idiot all this time" she says before start to crying on his chest until she falls asleep
• the next months are actually really nice
• Aegon is just being Aegon, you know?
• but Aemond is always taking care of her, rubbing her belly all the time, making sure she gets everything she wants and needs
• he thinks that maybe he could be the father of her future babys and not Aegon
• but the day she is giving birth omg
• Aemond can hear her screaming and wanna be with her, but Aegon doesn't want anyone else in the room (plus: imagine if Aegon always knew that she was in love with Aemond so he's jealous of him and that's why he doesn't let Aemond to be with her)
• all Aemond can do is wait until everything is done
• and after some time he can hear the baby crying and he can finally get into the room. He's relieved that the baby is okey but then he sees all the blood on the sheets and notices that she passed away
• Aemond is the one who makes sure she has a proper funeral
• everyone notices how affected he is, but no one says a word
• Aegon is always ignoring the baby and Aemond is mad at him
• but he knew Aegon, it's nothing knew, so he is the one to take care of the baby
• even though it is so painful because they have their mother's eyes
• and the first time the child calls him "Dad" he is crying
• and imagine when the child asks him about their mother. He can't handle it. He would ignore the question until it is not that painful and he can avoid the tears from running out of his eye
• he regrets every single day the decision he made, wondering how his life would had be with her
• but now is too late and all he has is the memory of her
• bro, I love being sad. Send more angsty requests jsjs 💖

Aerion x Viserys - We Finally Got Our Dragons
I couldn’t help myself. I will go down with this crack ship 🤣
Warnings: Afterlife, Angst, Hurt/Comfort, Sexual Content, Explicit Language, Age Difference
Read it on AO3.
____________
Most people think that a person finds peace after they die. Aerion would tell you differently.
The Targaryens have their own “exclusive” afterlife, stuck for eternity with only one another for company. While he's glad that they all appear as they were right before they died and not as they died (for then he would have a hole in his throat and be unable to talk), it still does not change the fact that he’s stuck with these shits forever. Most of his relatives find enjoyment (or at least contentment) here (seeing as half of them are married to each other), but for others – like Aerion – this place is a special kind of hell.
He died drinking wildfire. It certainly wasn’t his finest moment, nor was it something that he wants to remember, given the resulting pain. And yet, his family will never let him forget it. They torment him about it daily, as if he hadn’t already suffered enough.
“Oh look, it’s the Prince Who Thought He Was A Dragon,” they sneer at him whenever he walks by. It’s not as if he’s the first Targaryen to think of himself as a dragon and die because of it. What about all the other fools who got themselves killed trying to hatch a dragon egg? Why aren’t they mocked as he is?
Even his own father sighs disapprovingly when he sees him, as if Aerion brought him embarrassment. It makes Aerion scoff. His older brother was literally known as “Daeron the Drunken” and yet Aerion is somehow the stain on their family name? It’s absolutely ridiculous. His brothers ignore him (he hears their comments about Aerion the Monstrous, and really, when are they going to get over it?).
His own son, Maegor – who joined them when he got into a fight with the wrong person at a tavern – won’t talk to Aerion, because he blames Aerion’s “madness” as the reason he never got the throne. How ungrateful can you be? Maegor wouldn’t even be alive without Aerion.
His bitch of a wife isn’t much better. She refuses to allow him into her bed, and her brother and father are more than happy to guard her chamber door. To be honest, it’s not a huge loss though; she was annoying anyway, always crying and whimpering and screaming while he was trying to enjoy himself. Still, it’s the audacity that angers him.
You would think that the ancestors would grow tired of insulting him after so many years, but it appears that there is not nearly enough exciting news to go around here, so the taunts and insults go on year after year. Even the “Mad King” doesn’t get scorned as much, because people seem to either fear him or feel pity for his insanity.
Aerion tries to ignore most of the ridicule by keeping to himself, which is thankfully easy to do in this endless hallway with infinite corridors and chambers, but that doesn’t completely stop the talk from reaching his ears. He’d been humiliated, angry, and defensive for the first decade or so of these disrespectful comments, but after more than 60 years, he’s just sick and tired of it.
So when the others stop talking about him and begin insulting another, one they mockingly call "the last dragon" and "the beggar king,” Aerion is initially relieved, and then intrigued. He questions his father, who will at least answer him (albeit grudgingly). When he hears the tale of this Viserys, he feels an instant kinship that takes him by surprise.
He’s never felt like he could relate to someone else before, but the fact is, Viserys thought himself a dragon and he too died for it in an excruciating way. The other man was treated like shit in life and now again in death by his own family (Aerion knows the feeling), and his own sister had him killed in a cruel twist of irony.
Aerion’s glad that the attention on him has finally stopped, but he finds himself unexpectedly feeling sympathy for Viserys – an emotion so foreign to him that it took him a while to identify what it was. Perhaps it's because they share similar deaths (though by vastly different means), or that Aerion knows what it's like to be humiliated by the hypocritical ancestors, or because he knows what it’s like for your own family to turn on you.
He hears that Viserys' mother won't even give him sympathy because of how he treated his sister, but so what? The bitch killed him. Why are mothers always so quick to defend the weak? Aerion’s own mother is still angry at him for his treatment of Aegon, but he doesn’t think he has anything to apologize for. Why should he be “nice” to pathetic people? Daenerys should have been grateful that Viserys raised her after they fled King's Landing. Aerion would have sold her immediately to the highest buyer and bought himself a nice house until he raised his army to take back the throne.
He hears through the gossip that Viserys locks himself inside his chambers to avoid the others, which Aerion also understands. He's not entirely sure why he decides to go see him, but perhaps it's because he’s sick of being judged and looked down on, and Viserys seems like the one person who won’t do that.
He makes his way to Viserys’ chambers, holding his head high and ignoring the looks he gets along the way, only to find that the others have painted slurs on the door, and Aerion feels disgust at their tackiness. How old are they? Five? He opens the doors without knocking and sees a man sitting on the bed, his elbows rested on his knees and his head in his hands. When the figure looks up, his expression one of annoyance, anger, and pure exhaustion (a combination which Aerion knows well), and Aerion is struck by just how young he is.
For some reason, he pictured Viserys as close to his age, but he couldn't have been more than 25, though Aerion guesses it’s actually closer to 20. He's practically still a boy, and Aerion feels a hot wave of rage rush through him. This is who they are tormenting for making mistakes when he was exiled in Essos (by no fault of his own), trying to care for an ungrateful sister who eventually murdered him? Honestly, and they thought he was monstrous!
"I'm Aerion Brightflame," he starts before Viserys can get upset at his intrusion. He refuses to give up using that name; the ancestors can go fuck themselves. Viserys' expression clears, and he blinks in confusion before frowning warily.
"What do you want?" He asks suspiciously, and Aerion shrugs nonchalantly.
"I know how these shits can be when they decide to harass someone. Fuck them. You don’t need any of these bumbling fools. You and I, we're still dragons," he assures Viserys, not entirely understanding why he feels compelled to do so, but Aerion knows that he still is a dragon, regardless of how everything ended, and he’s willing to say that Viserys is as well out of solidarity for the mutual enemies/family. Viserys looks shocked before scowling.
"Clearly not, seeing as melted gold killed me, and fire cannot kill a dragon," he points out bitterly, not even mentioning Aerion's own failures, for which Aerion feels unexpectedly grateful for. He sits down next to Viserys, and he finds it hilarious how the other man looks alarmed and ready to flee.
"And how many others have been killed by fire when trying and failing to hatch dragon eggs? We're still Targaryens. We’re still dragons, no matter what those stupid sea cows have to say.” Viserys' expression changes from one of shock to hesitant gratitude. It's a look that Aerion is not used to having directed at him; fear, anger, and even lust are common emotions he’s used to seeing when people look at him, but never gratitude. It makes his stomach churn oddly.
After that, they form a strange bond of companionship. They spend most of their time in one of their chambers (it’s easier to avoid the others that way), but occasionally they venture out to the other rooms with alcohol or food. They don't need either, but it provides them with a distraction to the never-ending boredom. They even throw knives sometimes, though Aerion had to teach Viserys because he never learned.
Their conversations start by talking about all the people they hate and are angry at (of which there are many). Then it changes to their time in Essos (the good, the bad, and the ugly). And finally, they talk of their own failures; the feel of the gold burning through Viserys' skin and hair; the way the wildfire scorched Aerion’s throat and blinded him in pain. They talk of how humiliating it was (and still is), and of their disappointment in the way their lives turned out.
It's odd, because Aerion has never felt the urge to share his thoughts with anyone - no one was ever good enough or would truly understand (until now) - but he finds that it's actually rather nice. He quickly decides that he hates Viserys’ brother Rhaegar – he started this whole mess and yet he still looks at Viserys with disappointment, and it makes Aerion want to burn him. And Viserys quickly decides that Maegor is being selfish by hating his own father. Aerion’s found an unexpected ally in Viserys, and it’s the first time he’s felt anything other than miserable since his death.
...
Maybe it happens because of their surprisingly easy companionship, or maybe it’s because they are so isolated from everyone else (no one else seems capable of getting along with them), or maybe it's even simply because it's been years since Aerion slept with someone. Regardless of the reasons, they somehow end up in bed together. Aerion doesn’t know exactly how it happened, but he’s not complaining.
Viserys accepted being the bottom quickly enough, and Aerion found out later that it's because it wasn’t his first time; he’d been forced to sell his body in order to survive at his lowest points in exile, and Aerion’s never felt protective of anyone before, but he feels it now for Viserys. He also feels irrationally jealous that someone else dared to touch what is his, and yes, he has come to think of Viserys as his.
Viserys is wonderfully responsive, biting his shoulder, scratching his back until he bleeds, moaning and cursing loudly, urging him to go faster and harder. It makes Aerion’s blood sing, his thoughts fuzzy, and the heat envelop him all over until he’s nearly drowning in it.
But it's Viserys’ eyes that really send Aerion over the edge. The pale, lilac orbs dilate in lust, but there's also anger, determination, and hurt in them. Viserys has a vulnerability in his eyes that Aerion would have thought had been destroyed years ago, but somehow it remains, and it's both intoxicating and addicting to see.
When Aerion finally decides to try bottoming (because why the hell not? they're dead, and he’s bored and ready to do something new), he finishes embarrassingly quick. It's better than he ever imagined; fire seems to completely consume him, so hot and bright that Aerion feels like he might pass out. Viserys' cock rubs against a place inside of him that causes sparks to shoot throughout his entire body, and all he can do is pant and gasp as he clings to Viserys for dear life, thinking that if he weren't already dead, then this would definitely kill him because it's too much, but he wants it more than anything.
Viserys never mentions his premature response, and they don’t talk about the fact that Aerion starts to roll them over more and more so he can wrap his legs around Viserys' waist, urging the other man to fuck him. He's relieved by Viserys' lack of acknowledgement, because even in death, he still has his pride, and it's embarrassing how much he loves to fall apart underneath the younger man.
And when Viserys guides Aerion to ride him like a stallion for the first time, Aerion screams himself hoarse, and it suddenly reminds him too much of the wildfire burning his throat, and he starts to panic, so Viserys holds him until he calms, but they don't talk about that either.
...
When Daenerys does finally show up, Aerion becomes insanely angry. She's cold and distant, though she does try to talk to Viserys, and Aerion wants to kill her. How dare she?! He refuses to let her see Viserys until the younger man finally tells him to leave them so they can speak.
Aerion feels something hot and ugly churn in his stomach at that, and he waits by the door until Daenerys leaves, looking only barely fazed. He instantly goes inside to see Viserys' eyes shining with angry tears. He still hasn't gotten good at hiding his emotions yet, and truthfully, Aerion kind of hopes that he never does.
"She hatched the dragons. The fire didn't kill her," Viserys says angrily, but there's also jealously and pure despair there, and Aerion doesn't like it. He pulls Viserys into his arms and kisses him soundly until Viserys pulls back and leans his head on Aerion's chest, sighing heavily.
"Why her?" He asks, though the unspoken why not me? is obvious.
"Because the gods are cruel," he answers honestly, because she didn’t deserve it more than either of them.
"But it doesn't change things. She's here now, just like us, with no dragons. Fuck her, and fuck all of them. We are still dragons," Aerion continues vehemently. He feels Viserys swallow and nod, as if trying to convince himself.
"We are dragons," Viserys says shakily before gaining confidence.
"We are dragons. And while she's here alone, I have you now; my own dragon," he finishes stubbornly, and Aerion feels a rush of something that he chooses not to examine further at those words. He tightens his grip on Viserys and kisses the top of his head.
"And I have you. Looks like we both finally got our dragons."

How do you think the Martell family dynamics would have changed if Elia and her children had lived? Do you think Oberyn would've named his fifth daughter Elia if his sister was alive? Would Arianne and Quentyn have been closer? (Personally, I think they'd be one of the happier, most functioning families in Westeros, but that's because I want nothing but good things for them at all times.)
This post and this post touch on that a bit, though are centered more around what the Martells would do re: the crown if Elia lived. This more in-depth answer to your ask got a lot longer than intended, so I’m putting it under a cut.
I don’t think the dynamics strictly between Elia and her brothers would change all that much, honestly. Elia and Oberyn have always been really tight, and that I think would continue. I do think Doran and Elia would grow a lot closer, which canonically they weren’t really by virtue of Doran being nine years older and fostered away from Sunspear most of the time, but they still wouldn’t have that same history together that she and Oberyn did so there’d probably still be a gulf there.
Perhaps the most stark (heh) difference would be between Doran, Mellario, and their kids. With Elia, Rhaenys, and Aegon alive and well, Doran would not be caught up in getting vengeance, he wouldn’t be brokering arrangements to send Arianne to Tyrosh, and Quentyn might not even need to be forcibly fostered away either. Doran could try harder to sue for peace with the Yronwoods, or Elia could try, or maybe Aegon would be sent there instead of Quentyn. He may very well still have to be due to reparations for Oberyn’s foolishness, but at the very least, Elia would be able to temper the massive rift that caused between Doran and Mellario.
Speaking of which, while Doran and Mellario would still have the normal couple squabbles and Mellario would still feel the culture clash, I think there’s every likelihood they’d stay together. Elia felt a massive culture clash as well when she married Rhaegar, for example, and had to deal with unfamiliar and harsh realities where her ethnicity and society were Othered.
Mind you, to my recollection the Dornish don’t seem to have any particular disdain for the Essosi (Aliandra married one in Drazenko Rogare and I don’t remember anyone taking issue with Mellario herself either), but Mellario did canonically feel like an outsider. So Elia commiserating with that, having first-hand experience, I think would help a lot. And vice versa! While Elia did have female friends, she never had a sister, so I think she and Mellario could come together in that respect.
There would be a profound change, too, in Arianne. Doran would never be pursuing a Targaryen restoration, thus would never write that letter about making Quentyn the Prince of Dorne (with the intent of Arianne being queen), thus their relationship would never become so fractured, or at least not because of that. The domino effect extending to Arianne and Quentyn: Arianne would have no need to be jealous or angry towards her brother, so their relationship would be far better than it is in canon. Perhaps they’d be just as close as Elia and Oberyn, even.
As for Elia Sand, I don’t see any reason why Oberyn wouldn’t name her after his sister. The main reason in canon was to honor her, and that wouldn’t change here. After all, Oberyn’s three other children by Ellaria were also named after family members — Obella = Oberyn, Dorea = Doran, and Loreza presumably named after his mom. Oberyn was closest with Elia and would be ever so happy that she was back in Dorne, so it makes perfect sense that he’d give his daughter her name.
So yeah, I think your assessment is spot on: the Martells would indeed be one of the happiest, most functional families in Westeros. Sure, they’d have their issues, and Elia would undoubtably have some aftereffects from what she suffered due to Rhaegar and Aerys, plus there’s the matter of her kids being half-Targaryen and royal by blood, but returning to Dorne again would be healing for everyone.
It would also make a difference outside of Dorne. What about the threat Rhaenys and Aegon pose to Robert? What about them being lingering reminders of Rhaegar? Would Viserys and Dany go to Dorne? I feel it’s very probable they would, since the Martells are the only family they have left...though, of course, Dany wasn’t born until 284, so would Rhaella have gone to Dorne once Rhaegar and Aerys died instead of Dragonstone? Being given proper medical care and less stress, would she never have died? Would she, Viserys, and Dany stay in Dorne or would they, for example, go to Essos to start completely over?
Would Elia, Rhaenys, and Aegon being alive mean Ned was a whole lot closer to Robert and didn’t have quite as much PTSD from the war, since one of the major sources of that is the slaughtering of Elia and the kids? On that note, what would the relationship be like between the remaining Starks and the Martells? Would Elia being front and center to Aerys’s tyranny mean she’d be sympathetic to Ned’s plight, or would her also being front and center to Rhaegar’s betrayal, and therefore ostensibly Lyanna’s, mean she would have none? Would Ned tell her that Lyanna didn’t stay with Rhaegar willingly? Would he tell her about Jon? Without the falling out that he and Robert had over Elia, Rhaenys, and Aegon being killed, would Ned even have found Lyanna, let alone before she died? What about the Kingsguard? Would Rhaenys and Robb get together and be an amazing power couple?
And on and on the hypotheticals go. The books and fandom downplay Elia’s importance to a disgusting degree, and yet a frankly ridiculous amount of things and people would be altered had she lived, even more so had her children also lived.

Angst!!! I hate to read it, but love to daydream/write it. I remember writing some strong angsty stuff when I was like 11/12 💀 & ofc it was all over the place. OH- thinking abt it and I could twist it to fit a little thing with Aegon!! Permission to send another long ass ‘ask’?
Oh yes the professionalism!! Since she’s worked so hard to get where she is, & she’s not ready to throw it all away for a guy that’s her mindset, she doesn’t need him, she doesn’t like him, she does but denies it, like she’s very distant romantically & has some issues that makes her hate the idea of being vulnerable in a relationship and getting hurt. But when she can no longer deny her feelings for him, she’s head over the heels romantic! Cute Couple things: both being mentally fucked. She doesn’t want people to think that she fucked her way to the top. Obviously, Aegon doesn’t understand what the big deal is, but goes along with it, he doesn’t wanna upset her. He might start to think she doesn’t want people to think she’s dating him because she’s ashamed of him. Plus Viserys, Otto & Alicent have been so happy that he’s being more involved in one of their many ‘projects,’ and if news of the relationship reached them? Yeah, they’d know Aegon is barely working & is following a doctor around like some lovesick puppy instead. Reader eventually gets him to do some work, very beneficial for the hospital (patients & staff) + the Targs!
I’m sorry, but fucking in her or his office- OH- & while one of them is in the middle of a meeting and the other is under the desk 🤭, Fucking in an empty patient room, in the damn ON CALL ROOM (quick quickie FOR SURE), and maybe the roof that has a pretty view!! He makes her so reckless. She loves doing all that, but she tends to yk, push it all down while working, but no, he has to drag it out of her.
Yess, the second guessing! 100% everything you said!! Maybeee also second guessing until she flirts back or gets flustered over smth he says/does. She wouldn’t think much of the flirting, just that it’s playful platonic flirting, “he couldn’t possibly want me,” and doesn’t wanna get her hopes up. Maybe at first reader is asking about him because she likes his presence and wants to continue talking to him, and she sometimes has shit social skills so she tries to ask him the most random questions to keep the convo up and going not like aegon would ever let it end. She’s usually introverted, but still confident, ofc she isC she’s a doctor!! unless she’s with friends, and that’s just a good match for Aegon who’s kinda extroverted. Okay I’m gonna stop talking abt the dynamics because I have so much to say and I need to shut up!!
He’d probably start faintly second guessing himself when he sees her with another patient & she’s being really sweet. But either way, she’s so much sweeter with him & is obviously more comfortable. Like as time goes on, he realises how she’s sweet with others, but at this point she’s so much sweeter with him, since they’ve spent more and more time together since their first meeting. jealous aegon
Ur amazing, thank u so much!! Fr, Chubby!Aegon for life!!
Just thought abt this- doctor!reader x Aegon / Aemond WHO ‘OWN’ THE HOSPITAL!! (The Targaryens are CEOs / the chairman of so many companies & businesses.)
Meeting Aegon: Reader was about to take a quick little lunch break after working her ass off, but on her way to the canteen she overhears a Resident being unnecessarily disrespectful to a patient & so ofc she enters the room, and who other than a hungover Aegon is seated on the hospital bed with those glossy red eyes & the eye-bags to match. He’d be clutching his head with one hand, ignoring the Resident as he made some passive aggressive / straight up disrespectful comments about Aegon being a ‘drunken fool’ who brought this upon himself. Neither the Reader or the Resident knew that Aegon had such an important role in the hospital (and overall an ‘important’ role in society as a whole because he’s filthy rich). He doesn’t really visit the hospital much / ask for help when unwell, but this time he needed to get better fast or Alicent, Otto AND Viserys would have his head on a stake for being in this state, even after they explained the importance of an upcoming event.
Anyways, Reader basically tells the Resident to fuck off or she’ll make sure he’s stuck cleaning bedpans, giving old men a sponge bath, and just boring / dirty cases, (I’m paraphrasing as she’d be a lot more subtle, but still get her point across). After the Resident leaves, she comforts Aegon, “Don’t worry about him, he’s an asshole that literally no one likes.” She then quickly checks his temperature by pressing her hand to his forehead, while asking some routine questions and speaking so softly as she takes care of him. So she’s basically just being a good doctor & taking care of an unwell patient, per her job, but he’s an affection & love starved pretty boy who falls in love. She gets him a cup of water, urging him to drink as to help his hangover, even getting him some painkillers (Just something like ibuprofen pills or paracetamol pills- no hardcore meds 💀) . Like she fr handles more serious cases, unless she’s on clinic duty which she’s not, she’s on her lunch break, yet here she is nursing a pretty boy with a pouty lip through his hangover. Speaking of- how in the Seven Hells did he get past the clinic and into a good ass patient room by being hungover? Because he’s a spoilt little rich boy who can buy the world tenfold.
And from here I just see Aegon regularly visiting the hospital to see her, admiring her work and doting on her. Doesn’t take long for her to finally agree to a date.
He either lets her know his important role in the hospital / tells her that he’s a Targaryen and uses it to his advantage (orchestrating situations where they are in close proximity, like getting her to come to his newly built office, which he may have had built just so he can be around her more, or having an excuse to go to her office and at some point he just gave up at making up excuses, “Just wanted to see you!” He’d say with a wide toothy grin on his glowing face, as he either had you come to his office or he barged his way into yours.
Or he doesn’t tell her yet seems to be able to get away with so much stuff at the hospital (entering staff-only rooms, free food, having higher uppers suck up to him, even when he straight up insults them, which is fun for reader to watch if said higher upper is a bitch & in that case Aegon just loves seeing her smile over something he did, like she’s proud of him. She is.
OKAY BUT ALSO- in both situations no matter if he tells her who he is or not, it takes him a couple tries before she finally agrees to dating him. Which drives him crazy at first, like, you know I own this hospital and a billion other things, but you still won’t let me take you out on a date?! And she still takes care of him, whether it’s comforting him over a simple headache, a tiny ass cut or he’s just upset over his personal life + the happy little moments they have together where it’s just them laughing in pure bliss.
And remember how I said smth about an important event? Yeah, he definitely takes her as his date & buys her the most divine dresses, a new set of jewellery that matches his 😩 , all types of accessories & heels. Like he buys her multiple dresses/items for one event and he’s just like, “I get that you are only wearing one dress tonight, but here’s 5 more,” AND THEY’D BE SO EXPENSIVE BUT HIS ASS WOULDN’T EVEN BLINK. So many events, so many gifts.
Late nights that they spend together where she’s studying 😩 Could be filled with fluff or immediately turn into smut. They’d just take good care of each other!!
Oh my God- bonus for chubby! Aegon 😁😁 I need to make a whole separate thing for chubby!Aegon because this ask is filled 😭 + Make one for Aemond!!
ma’am as someone from a healthcare background, I FUCKING LOVED THIS (although little fyi, the doctors do NOT touch the bedpans… that’s all nurses 😫) !!!
BUT YES!!! our boy is starved of genuine affection and love, and now that he is the sole attention of this person, he’s captured by you. started to nag at him feeling the need to see you, for you to see him. as you guys start to talk, he’d ask you all these questions and just listen to you all day, even if it’s a vent, he’s so obsessed with you!!!
you need to write this bestie!!!! AHHH it has so much potential & you’d give it so much justice 😫🥺
chubby Aegon??? you said chubby!Aegon!!!! you’ve got me there now 🥵
even tho this was an ask, it was still such a tremendous fic!!! 🔥🔥🔥

I hate when people insist that Arya is ugly, I bet Arya is going to be really pretty in the books when she grows up, training with courtesans and all that, and the only ones that called her horseface in ghe past were Sansa and jeyne and it was only because Jeyne was jealous of her being the daughter of a high lord (they were just children being petty)
as for Lyanna (she is not one of my fav characters) she obviously was pretty but I dont think its her beauty what Rhaegar saw in her, he just needed a a woman strong enough to carry his third child and fulfill the prophecy because 'the dragon has three heads', something his wife couldnt do.
I think we need more fics in where authors acknowledge the truth, that Arya is going to be a beautiful queen in the books 😌
Arya is pretty. Like a sweet chid you see running around the park, but would rather be playing with "swords" and with another boys, and getting dirty and messed up in the process than playing with dolls. This is why she is described as wild and always having a messy hair. And as we are talking about a feudalism age, this is the main reason she is mistaken as a boy and not being "a proper lady". We have to remember she is 9 in the beginning, she didn't passed through puberty. She doesn't have a defined body. If any girl at this age dress as a boy and act like a boy is expected to act, no one will blink an eye.
"Arry" is a perfect exemple of this. Catelyn saying someone would mistake her as a boy is also a prof of this.
She didn't fit in this social box of "how a woman/girl/lady should behaeve", and that is the main reason they have the idea Arya is ugly and why Arya herself believes she is ugly too. She was surrounded by a stereotip that expected her to act on a certain way she didn't fit in. We have this even nowadays.
Exemple: I am out of the stereotipe. I am not skinny, my body shape is different from the girls we always see being desired and glamorous on Instagram. Not interested in "girly, feminine" things, tools and blah, blah, blah. I may be beautiful and gorgeous, but I dont feel that way because I am not like these girls. In Arya's case it is her behavior that is "out" Got It? It is a social construct that impacts how we see the world and ourselves. It is very interesting. (Yeah. Yeah. I like sociology and psichology. Process me.)
But yes. I am pretty sure Arya is growing from a young girl to a gorgeous woman in the next two books. There is so many hints of that in her chapters... Unhapilly sometimes in sad and creepy circunstances like we see in Mercy. That chapter was just creepy and disgusting and triggering as hell. But also appears in positive ways like when Ned compares her to Lyanna, Lady Smallwood saying she is beautiful, etc, etc.
And is also really satiafying to see she getting more self steem with her looks while growing up when she suffered with that her whole childhood. The famous *glow up*. Have you ever read/watch the Ugly Duckling? That is the feeling.
Rhaegar and Lyanna? Well. I don't have much strong feelings about it. And my feelings are contraditory the most part of the time. I basically liked this tragic love story D&D created, because I like tragic love stories. Cliche. Don't judge me,please. But yeah. If we get out of the fanfic - where Lyanna was old enough and willing and in a a compleatly selfish way she run away to marry a Prince that was madly in love with her, and she was madly in love with him kinda Romeo and Juliet - and see the reality/canonic content we have untill now, I totally agree with u. I don't think Rhaegar loved her. Actually Canon!Rhaegar is far from my fanon!Rhaegar. He was obcessed with a prophecy, and kidnapped, raped her, (Lyanna was 14-15. She couldn't consent), so he would have the "third dragon head". We can't forget what he did to Elia and her children(not his. He failed as a father. Father is the one who raises and protect, so yeah. So fuck Canon!Rhaegar), that is completly unfair. Elia deserved better than this. Rhaenys and Aegon deserved better than this.
In other words, fuck anyone who says Elia knew and consented with Rhaegar's actions.
(I told you. I have contraditory feelings about this whole thing)
While Arya being Queen... I believe there is a chance of her being crowned at certain point of the saga, but I dont see her ending as Queen. I believe she will end as a princess or a Lady of some castle. Be it Stormsland or Winterfell I dont have any idea. (I want her in Winterfell.) Maybe part of the King/Queen's Council. But yeah. I would really appreciate more fics that explores that part of her story and characteristics.
Arya's ending is tied with so many other arcs. Dany', Jon', Bran's especially. So it is complicated to say by sure. The five Key players's future are tied in some intricated way and as we are entering just now at the climax of the saga, we don't have enough information to take a clear conclusions of neither of their destinies.
Wow. This was hard to write. So much vacabulary i didn't know how to write, or the right way to express myself. I hope it isn't confusing. Anyway
Thanks for the ask, anon.💞💞💞💞
