Do you think there is a chance Aegon is the sun son not quentyn?

On Reddit, someone mentioned that Lyanna is derived from the Hebrew name Liana, which means "God has answered," while the name Elia is also derived from the Hebrew name "Eliana," meaning "God has answered." Do you think it could mean something in the story, or was it just a coincidence?

I think it's far more probable that Aegon - Elia's son - is the sun's son than Quentyn, who is himself a Martell and therefore a sun in his own right. That's Aegon's role going forward, the son of Elia. "The woman is important too".

Dany's misinterpretation of the warning is both a signal about her growing fear of betrayal and threats (like her father) and a successful misdirection by the author, considering how many people still put Aegon into the role of the mummer's dragon as if they don't already know that there's a far more prominent mummer's dragon with us since the first book: Jon Snow.

The fact that sun's son and mummer's dragon are listed together in Quaithe's prophecy also makes sense as both are half-brothers who present Dany with a similar problem: she is not the legal heir to the Targaryen throne, and with the stroke of a pen, even a legitimized bastard could come in line ahead of her.

Both are sons fathered by Rhaegar in a manner that is devoid of responsibility or parental duty. He saw a light in the sky and that's why he fathered Aegon on Elia fresh out of bedrest, abandoning her almost directly after the birth that nearly killed her. He was obsessed with "one more" so he fathered Jon on a fifteen-year-old girl isolated from the world in a tower in Dorne, with kingsguard standing watch outside.

Elia and Lyanna are mirror images, and their legacy will live on through their sons (and nieces and nephews) and GRRM giving them related names would be very fitting. Two sides of the same coin.
