I zone out when I was in the shower and had a full AU idea

Fred is a terminally ill cancer patients and has one last chance to "survive" and is a high risk surgery where they need a high compatible donor.

The first thought it's for George to help him, as they are twins and are basically genetically identical. However, George can't do the surgery because he just got out of a terrible accident that leaves him too weak for that type of surgery but good enough to continue his life as "normal" (he still has to take a bunch of different pills so his immune system is full of those different elements that can become a health hazard to Fred if they proceed with the surgery)

For plot convenience tbh, none of the other Weasleys are good enough candidates so they are desperate to save Fred. They are a family of fighters, they are not gonna let Fred just die. There is one family member that could save Fred and that is Percy.

Percy left the family after a heavy fight with Arthur were, after none stop rumours of Percy 'sleeping' his way into his position into the government and of making fun of his family with other high executives, accuse him of such acts. Percy offended and hurt, leaves, saying that his boss was right and that they are just keeping him from truely take off. That happened over 3 years ago and no one knew where Percy was.

So George, taking matters in his own hands, was determined to track down his older brother to save his twin.

Thanks that Ron and his bf Harry worked in the police force, they could see that Percy was still in the country and that he probably was still on England.

George disguised himself as a brunette and even got help to change his face (fake piercing, tattoos, marks) anything to make it more difficult to recognise. And after a long play were they manage to find Oliver Wood, who's Percy's friend, after jumping all around the place.

They are in a high class event, that shock George, and he sees Percy so he slowly approached him. All that pain from all those years were about to erup on him when he saw something, Percy looked happy?

Months goes by and George and Percy become friends (Percy did not know that he was talking with his brother) and George finally builts the courage to ask about his family. He finds out that Percy has a wife and two beautiful twin girls and that he is going great. But then, he starts taking about the Weasleys. George is prepare to hear awful things about them, but no. Percy is not saying nothing hurtful about them. In fact, it sounded like they were a great family. But then again, things take a turn and Percy, drunk because they were drinking at his house, opens up about the fight and George discovers much more.

How he felt ignore by everyone just for carrying the Weasley name, how he felt disconnected from them some one. It was too much to bare for George so he told who he actually was and Percy was astonished. He screams and begs for George to leave. He pushes him to the door but right before closing it George manage to speak and starts telling him all that has happened and that Fred is dying from cancer and that he needed his help.

That stops Perce for a second but then Audrey, his wife, asks him if everything is all right, and Percy gors back to himself and closed the door on Georges face.

George screams at his door and tells him that he knew that he was a coward all along. That he is selfish and a p*ssy and that he is ashamed to has a bastard as his brother.

A week goes by and George finds Percy at his door. He was about to close it but they start chatting and there is allt of frustration going on that lead to no where so Percy leaves again.

I don't know how it ends because like I said, I made this on the fucking spot as I showered and I'm trying to recall everything I was imagining. (I'm my head it was a beautiful animation with Die with a smile at the background) I didn't imagine a scene of Percy visiting Fred in secret and being caught by Charlie who was visiting to try to see if he was compatible (bc he couldn't do the test before) and Charlie decides that he is not gonna tell anyone and talk to Fred first.

I think that Fred should die at the end, to ass more salt to the wound so yeah. Hurt and no comfort, love that.

I want Fred to meet Percy's girls and be excited but passing away anyway. i want them to bond and then die or smt like that. Might write a fic about it.

I love her blue hair and kind smile. Her cheery, outgoing personality.

I love how she was so ready to do all the right things, but then the sacrifices she undertook and piled onto herself were ultimately her undoing.

I love how passionately she loved her friends (and one particular boy) and would destroy herself just to have a chance to be with them. To even entertain that thought...

And then I love the rage. The absolute feminine rage. The intrusive thoughts of murder when it means you're losing everything you once had. When Sayaka realizes that she's no longer human, when she no longer has a place in the world.

And I love that she always had Kyoko there to mirror her every step of the way. The balance to her.

Do you think if it were possible for Ghouls to somehow eat human food and react to it like a normal human would (taste it and digest it), they would probably all take the opportunity (even ghouls who are happy and content in their lifestyle and existence) and never eat human meat? Basically, have a natural born One-eyed Ghoul’s tongue and stomach. 

I think it’s interesting to consider, as many human individuals let go of their humanity in the show to become ghouls to get benefits of kagune and strength.

It seems like a clearcut situation, but then again, maybe some ghouls would not be content with that, as they suffered discrimination for being themselves biologically and have been pursued by the CCG, and this could be seen as one-sided conformation to human standards of acceptance.

Another problem with this solution, is that Ghouls would still have their superhuman strength and kagune, so they would probably see themselves as superior to humans. In addition, they would still perceive human meat as delicious with their taste buds. If they no longer consume human meat, do they lose the benefits of strength and kagune?

With Rize, I am not so sure, because she's really fluid and whimsy as a character, and so much of her is mysterious and ambiguous even as she haunts the narrative. She thinks of herself as a lion, thinks little of Shu for his "delicate tastes", she's sure of herself, but at the same time, she's curious, she likes literature, she gets bored. So I think that, ultimately (maybe), she would want a taste of human food that has been denied to her taste buds for most of her life. I think she, and honestly most ghouls, would have some semblance of a Hannibal-esque lifestyle (while Shu would probably embody it). 

I think Eto's perspective would be somewhat like that, even though she wants Ghouls to be in society and have access to human things and experiences (she's somewhat privileged, as a natural half-ghoul that can eat food, but also has suffered persecution for her existence, like most Ghouls).

First of all this is all very interesting, second I must disclaim that I don’t have a fraction of the psychological or biological mental index that other people on this website in the tg fandom crafting headcanons do, that said! I’m happy to discuss this topic.

Honestly I think you answered your own question pretty well when it comes to specific examples and for the bourgeoisie of ghoul society, even if they don’t need to it becomes a status thing just like anything else But I feel like there’s an interesting input from the lower class or outright homeless in ghoul society. 

See, ghouls who were already attempting to seamlessly integrate themselves into human society and hide as an average person would largely gladly drop the consumption of human flesh, I think, for those like Ryoko, Touka, and Yoshimura, who have housing and jobs and the means to acquire alternative food, eating humans is pretty much just a liability. 

However, what about those who live on the streets and can’t afford food, or can only afford the minimal shelter they have so long as their food budget is nothing? There’s an interesting question of how many would be willing to give in to something they’re disposed to do and take the lives of others to save their own, even if they know it would perpetuate the idea of their species as dangerous and potentially prevent them from ever getting back into a place of financial stability once they're on record as a murderer. All in all, an interesting concept.

ranting again,

i think one of the reasons jegulus became such a famous ship is because regulus is a pretty self insert character and we all want to see someone we relate to be loved unconditionally. like maybe there's hope after all.

regulus is an inherently flawed character, given the few information we have on him in canon, so we kind of had to build on that 'was a deatheater' basis. and maybe it made him relatable? like, 'look he's not perfect but he's Trying' and aren't we all?

it's also not Obvious that james would love regulus. it's a stretch honestly. if we look at the popularized ships like wolfstar and jily, they Belong together. they were doomed by the narrative to be together kind of.

not regulus and james, which kind of looks like a crack ship from afar. no it's not obvious that james would love regulus, so it has to be intentional. we get to see a deeply flawed person, who makes mistakes again and again but Is Trying, be loved unconditionally and intentionally.

and we relate to that. hence their popularity.
